14:1 參孫<08123>下<03381>(8799)到亭拿<08553>，在那裡<09002><08553>看見<07200>(8799)一個女子<0802>，是非利士人<06430>的女兒<04480><01323>。
And Samson<08123> went down<03381>(8799) to Timnath<08553>, and saw<07200>(8799) a woman<0802> in Timnath<08553> of the daughters<01323> of the Philistines<06430>.
14:2 參孫上來<05927>(8799)稟告<05046>(8686)他父<09001><01>母<09001><0517>說<0559>(8799)：「我在亭拿<09002><08553>看見<07200>(8804)一個女子<0802>，是非利士人<06430>的女兒<04480><01323>，願<06258>你們給我<09001>娶來<03947>(8798){<0853>}為妻<09001><0802>。」
And he came up<05927>(8799), and told<05046>(8686) his father<01> and his mother<0517>, and said<0559>(8799), I have seen<07200>(8804) a woman<0802> in Timnath<08553> of the daughters<01323> of the Philistines<06430>: now therefore get<03947>(8798) her for me to wife<0802>.
14:3 他父<01>母<0517>{<09001>}說<0559>(8799)：「在你弟兄<0251>的女兒中<09002><01323>，或在<09002><03605>本國的民<05971>中，豈沒有<0369>一個女子<0802>，何致<03588>你<0859>去<01980>(8802)在未受割禮的<06189>非利士人中<04480><06430>娶<09001><03947>(8800)妻<0802>呢？」參孫<08123>對<0413>他父親<01>說<0559>(8799)：「願你給我<09001>娶<03947>(8798)那女子<0853>，因<03588>{<01931>}我<09002><05869>喜悅她<03474>(8804)。」
Then his father<01> and his mother<0517> said<0559>(8799) unto him, Is there never<0369> a woman<0802> among the daughters<01323> of thy brethren<0251>, or among all my people<05971>, that thou goest<01980>(8802) to take<03947>(8800) a wife<0802> of the uncircumcised<06189> Philistines<06430>? And Samson<08123> said<0559>(8799) unto his father<01>, Get<03947>(8798) her for me; for she pleaseth me well<03474>(8804)<05869>. {pleaseth...: Heb. is right in mine eyes}
14:4 他的父<01>母<0517>卻不<03808>知道<03045>(8804){<03588>}這事是<01931>出於耶和華<04480><03068>，因為<03588>他找<01245>(8764)機會<08385>攻擊非利士人<04480><06430>。那<01931>時<09002><06256>，非利士人<06430>轄制<04910>(8802)以色列人<09002><03478>。
But his father<01> and his mother<0517> knew<03045>(8804) not that it was of the LORD<03068>, that he sought<01245>(8764) an occasion<08385> against the Philistines<06430>: for at that time<06256> the Philistines<06430> had dominion<04910>(8802) over Israel<03478>.
14:5 參孫<08123>跟他父<01>母<0517>下<03381>(8799)亭拿<08553>去<0935>(8799)，到了<05704>亭拿<08553>的葡萄園<03754>，見<02009>有一隻少壯<03715>獅子<0738>向他<09001><07125>(8800)吼叫<07580>(8802)。
Then went<03381><00> Samson<08123> down<03381>(8799), and his father<01> and his mother<0517>, to Timnath<08553>, and came<0935>(8799) to the vineyards<03754> of Timnath<08553>: and, behold, a young<03715> lion<0738> roared<07580>(8802) against<07125>(8800) him. {against...: Heb. in meeting him}
14:6 耶和華<03068>的靈<07307>大大<06743>(8799)感動參孫<05921>，他雖然手<09002><03027>無<0369>器械<03972>，卻將獅子撕裂<08156>(8762)，如同撕裂<09003><08156>(8762)山羊羔<01423>一樣。他行<06213>(8804){<0853>}這事<0834>並沒有<03808>告訴<05046>(8689)父<09001><01>母<09001><0517>。
And the Spirit<07307> of the LORD<03068> came mightily<06743>(8799) upon him, and he rent<08156>(8762) him as he would have rent<08156>(8763) a kid<01423>, and he had nothing<03972> in his hand<03027>: but he told<05046>(8689) not his father<01> or his mother<0517> what he had done<06213>(8804).
14:7 參孫下<08123>去<03381>(8799)與女子<09001><0802>說話<01696>(8762)，就喜悅她<03474>(8799){<09002>}{<05869>}；
And he went down<03381>(8799), and talked<01696>(8762) with the woman<0802>; and she pleased<03474><00> Samson<08123> well<03474>(8799)<05869>.
14:8 過了些日子<04480><03117>，再<07725>(8799)下去要娶<09001><03947>(8800)那女子，轉向<05493>(8799)道旁要看<09001><07200>(8800){<0853>}死<04658>獅<0738>，見<02009>有一群<05712>蜂子<01682>和蜜<01706>在死<09002><01472>獅<0738>之內，
And after a time<03117> he returned<07725>(8799) to take<03947>(8800) her, and he turned aside<05493>(8799) to see<07200>(8800) the carcase<04658> of the lion<0738>: and, behold, there was a swarm<05712> of bees<01682> and honey<01706> in the carcase<01472> of the lion<0738>.
14:9 就用<0413>手<03709>取<07287>(8799)蜜，{<03212>}{(8799)}且吃<0398>(8800)且走<01980>(8800)；到了<0413>父<01>{<0413>}母<0517>那裡，給<05414>(8799)他父母<09001>，他們也吃了<0398>(8799)；只是沒有<03808>告訴<05046>(8689){<09001>}{<03588>}這蜜<01706>是從死<04480><01472>獅<0738>之內取來<07287>(8804)的。
And he took<07287>(8799) thereof in his hands<03709>, and went on<03212>(8799) eating<0398>(8800), and came<01980>(8800) to his father<01> and mother<0517>, and he gave<05414>(8799) them, and they did eat<0398>(8799): but he told<05046>(8689) not them that he had taken<07287>(8804) the honey<01706> out of the carcase<01472> of the lion<0738>.
14:10 他父親<01>下去<03381>(8799)見<0413>女子<0802>。參孫<08123>在那裡<08033>設擺<06213>(8799)筵宴<04960>，因為<03588>向來<03651>少年人<0970>都有這個規矩{<06213>}{(8799)}。
So his father<01> went down<03381>(8799) unto the woman<0802>: and Samson<08123> made<06213>(8799) there a feast<04960>; for so used the young men<0970> to do<06213>(8799).
14:11 {<01961>}眾人看見<09003><07200>(8800)參孫<0853>，就請了<03947>(8799)三十<07970>個人陪伴<01961><04828>他<0854>。
And it came to pass, when they saw<07200>(8800) him, that they brought<03947>(8799) thirty<07970> companions<04828> to be with him.
14:12 參孫<08123>對他們<09001>說<0559>(8799)：「{<04994>}我給你們<09001>出<02330>(8799)一個謎語<02420>，你們在七<07651>日<03117>筵宴<04960>之內，若<0518>能<05046>(8687)猜出<04672>(8804)意思<0853>告訴我<05046>(8686)，我就給<05414>(8804)你們<09001>三十<07970>件裡衣<05466>，三十<07970>套<02487>衣裳<0899>；
And Samson<08123> said<0559>(8799) unto them, I will now put forth<02330>(8799) a riddle<02420> unto you: if ye can certainly<05046>(8687) declare<05046>(8686) it me within the seven<07651> days<03117> of the feast<04960>, and find it out<04672>(8804), then I will give<05414>(8804) you thirty<07970> sheets<05466> and thirty<07970> change<02487> of garments<0899>: {sheets: or, shirts}
14:13 你們若<0518>不<03808>能<03201>(8799)猜出意思告訴<09001><05046>(8687)我<09001>，你們<0859>就給<05414>(8804)我<09001>三十<07970>件裡衣<05466>，三十<07970>套<02487>衣裳<0899>。」他們說<0559>(8799){<09001>}：「請將謎語<02420>說給<02330>(8798)我們聽<08085>(8799)。」
But if ye cannot<03201>(8799) declare<05046>(8687) it me, then shall ye give<05414>(8804) me thirty<07970> sheets<05466> and thirty<07970> change<02487> of garments<0899>. And they said<0559>(8799) unto him, Put forth<02330>(8798) thy riddle<02420>, that we may hear<08085>(8799) it. {sheets: or, shirts}
14:14 參孫對他們<09001>說<0559>(8799)：吃的<03978>從吃者<04480><0398>(8802)出來<03318>(8804)；甜的<04966>從強者<04480><05794>出來<03318>(8804)。他們三<07969>日<03117>不<03808>能<03201>(8804)猜出<09001><05046>(8687)謎語<02420>的意思。
And he said<0559>(8799) unto them, Out of the eater<0398>(8802) came forth<03318>(8804) meat<03978>, and out of the strong<05794> came forth<03318>(8804) sweetness<04966>. And they could<03201>(8804) not in three<07969> days<03117> expound<05046>(8687) the riddle<02420>.
14:15 {<01961>}到第七<07637>天<09002><03117>，他們對參孫<08123>的妻<09001><0802>說<0559>(8799)：「你誆哄<06601>(8761){<0853>}你丈夫<0376>，探出{<0853>}謎語<02420>的意思告訴<05046>(8686)我們<09001>，免得<06435>我們用火<09002><0784>燒<08313>(8799)你<0853>和<0853>你父<01>家<01004>。你們請了<07121>(8804)我們<09001>來，是要奪我們所有的<09001><03423>(8800)嗎<03808>？」
And it came to pass on the seventh<07637> day<03117>, that they said<0559>(8799) unto Samson's<08123> wife<0802>, Entice<06601>(8761) thy husband<0376>, that he may declare<05046>(8686) unto us the riddle<02420>, lest we burn<08313>(8799) thee and thy father's<01> house<01004> with fire<0784>: have ye called<07121>(8804) us to take that we have<03423>(8800)? is it not so ? {take...: Heb. possess us, or, impoverish us?}
14:16 參孫的<08123>妻<0802>在<05921>丈夫面前啼哭<01058>(8799)說<0559>(8799)：「你是{<07535>}恨我<08130>(8804)，不是<03808>愛我<0157>(8804)，你給我本國<05971>的人<09001><01121>出<02330>(8804)謎語<02420>，卻沒有<03808>將意思告訴<05046>(8689)我<09001>。」參孫回答{<09001>}說<0559>(8799)：「{<02009>}連我父<09001><01>母<09001><0517>我都沒有<03808>告訴<05046>(8689)，豈可告訴<05046>(8686)你<09001>呢？」
And Samson's<08123> wife<0802> wept<01058>(8799) before him, and said<0559>(8799), Thou dost but hate<08130>(8804) me, and lovest<0157>(8804) me not: thou hast put forth<02330>(8804) a riddle<02420> unto the children<01121> of my people<05971>, and hast not told<05046>(8689) it me. And he said<0559>(8799) unto her, Behold, I have not told<05046>(8689) it my father<01> nor my mother<0517>, and shall I tell<05046>(8686) it thee?
14:17 七<07651>日<03117>筵宴<04960>之<0834>內{<01961>}{(8804)}{<09001>}，她在丈夫面前<05921>啼哭<01058>(8799)，到<01961>第七<07637>天<09002><03117>{<03588>}逼<06693>(8689)著他，他才將謎語<02420>的意思告訴<05046>(8686)他妻<09001>，他妻就告訴<05046>(8686)本國<05971>的人<09001><01121>。
And she wept<01058>(8799) before him the seven<07651> days<03117>, while their feast<04960> lasted<01961>(8804): and it came to pass on the seventh<07637> day<03117>, that he told<05046>(8686) her, because she lay sore<06693>(8689) upon him: and she told<05046>(8686) the riddle<02420> to the children<01121> of her people<05971>. {the seven...: or, the rest of the seven days}
14:18 到第七<07637>天<09002><03117>，日頭<02775>未落<0935>(8799)以前<09002><02962>，那城<05892>裡的人<0582>對參孫<09001>說<0559>(8799)：有甚麼<04100>比蜜<04480><01706>還甜<04966>呢？有甚麼<04100>比獅子<04480><0738>還強<05794>呢？參孫對他們<09001>說<0559>(8799)：你們若非<03884>用我的母牛犢<09002><05697>耕地<02790>(8804)，就猜不<03808>出<04672>(8804)我謎語<02420>的意思來。
And the men<0582> of the city<05892> said<0559>(8799) unto him on the seventh<07637> day<03117> before the sun<02775> went down<0935>(8799), What is sweeter<04966> than honey<01706>? and what is stronger<05794> than a lion<0738>? And he said<0559>(8799) unto them, If<03884> ye had not plowed<02790>(8804) with my heifer<05697>, ye had not found out<04672>(8804) my riddle<02420>.
14:19 耶和華<03068>的靈<07307>大大感動<06743>(8799)參孫<05921>，他就下<03381>(8799)到亞實基倫<0831>，擊殺了<05221>(8686){<04480>}三十<07970>個人<0376>，奪了<03947>(8799){<0853>}他們的衣裳<02488>，將<0853>衣裳<02487>給了<05414>(8799)猜出<09001><05046>(8688)謎語<02420>的人。參孫發<02734>(8799)怒<0639>，就上<05927>(8799)父<01>家<01004>去了。
And the Spirit<07307> of the LORD<03068> came<06743>(8799) upon him, and he went down<03381>(8799) to Ashkelon<0831>, and slew<05221>(8686) thirty<07970> men<0376> of them, and took<03947>(8799) their spoil<02488>, and gave<05414>(8799) change<02487> of garments unto them which expounded<05046>(8688) the riddle<02420>. 14:20 參孫的<08123>妻<0802>便歸了<01961>參孫的陪伴<09001><04828>，就是<0834>作過他<09001>朋友<07462>(8765)的。
But Samson's<08123> wife<0802> was given to his companion<04828>, whom he had used as his friend<07462>(8765).
