约翰福音 3章27节 到 3章27节 上一笔 下一笔 |
{Except it have been given him from heaven} (ean m(8820)(8869) dedomenon aut(9369) ek tou ouranou). See the same idiom in Joh 6:65 (cf. 19:11 ). Condition of third class, undetermined with prospect of determination, ean m(885c) with the periphrastic perfect passive subjunctive of did(936d)i. The perfect tense is rare in the subjunctive and an exact rendering into English is awkward, "unless it be granted him from heaven." See 1Co 4:7 where Paul says the same thing. |
