{As they cried out} (kraugazont(936e) aut(936e)). Genitive
absolute with present active participle of kraugaz(935c), a rare
word in the old Greek from kraug(885c) (a cry). See on 烘t 12:19|.
Two other genitive absolutes here,
hiptount(936e) (throwing off,
present active participle, frequent active variation of
hipt(935c))
and allont(936e) (present active participle of all(935c), flinging).
These present participles give a lively picture of the
uncontrolled excitement of the mob in their spasm of wild rage.
