他是和但以理一同拒用王的飲食的三人之一. 也是因拒絕對尼布甲尼撒王的
雕像下拜而被丟入烈焰火爐的三人之一. 這三人卻在火爐中被神的天使護佑.

graven image of Nebuchadnezzar and who were saved by the angel of
the Lord
