14 以色列<03478>王<04428>約哈斯<03099>的兒子<01121>約阿施<09001><03101>第二<08147>年<09002><08141>，猶大<03063>王<04428>約阿施<03101>的兒子<01121>亞瑪謝<0558>登基<04427>(8804)。
In the second<08147> year<08141> of Joash<03101> son<01121> of Jehoahaz<03099> king<04428> of Israel<03478> reigned<04427>(8804) Amaziah<0558> the son<01121> of Joash<03101> king<04428> of Judah<03063>.
2 {<01961>}他登基<09002><04427>(8800)的時候年<01121>二十<06242>五<02568>歲<08141>，在耶路撒冷<09002><03389>作王<04427>(8804)二十<06242>九<08672>年<08141>。他母親<0517>名<08034>叫約耶但<03086>，是<04480>耶路撒冷<03389>人。
He was twenty<06242> and five<02568> years<08141> old<01121> when he began to reign<04427>(8800), and reigned<04427>(8804) twenty<06242> and nine<08672> years<08141> in Jerusalem<03389>. And his mother's<0517> name<08034> was Jehoaddan<03086> of Jerusalem<03389>.
3 亞瑪謝行<06213>(8799)耶和華<03068>眼<09002><05869>中看為正<03477>的事，但<07535>不<03808>如他祖<01>大衛<09003><01732>，乃效法<06213>(8804)他父<01>約阿施<03101>一切<09003><03605>所<0834>行的<06213>(8804)；
And he did<06213>(8799) that which was right<03477> in the sight<05869> of the LORD<03068>, yet<07535> not like David<01732> his father<01>: he did<06213>(8804) according to all things as Joash<03101> his father<01> did<06213>(8804).
4 只是<07535>邱壇<01116>還沒有<03808>廢去<05493>(8804)，百姓<05971>仍<05750>在那裡{<09002>}{<01116>}獻祭<02076>(8764)燒香<06999>(8764)。
Howbeit the high places<01116> were not taken away<05493>(8804): as yet<05750> the people<05971> did sacrifice<02076>(8764) and burnt incense<06999>(8764) on the high places<01116>.
5 國<04467>一<01961><09003><0834>堅定<02388>(8804){<09002>}{<03027>}，就把<0853>殺<05221>(8688){<0853>}他父<01>王<04428>的臣僕<05650>殺<05221>(8686)了，
And it came to pass, as soon as the kingdom<04467> was confirmed<02388>(8804) in his hand<03027>, that he slew<05221>(8686) his servants<05650> which had slain<05221>(8688) the king<04428> his father<01>.
6 卻沒有<03808>治死<04191>(8689){<0853>}殺<05221>(8688)王之人的兒子<01121>，是照<09003><03789>(8803)摩西<04872>律法<08451>書<09002><05612>上耶和華<03068>所<0834>吩咐<06680>(8765)的說<09001><0559>(8800)：「不可<03808>因<05921>子<01121>殺<04191>(8714)父<01>，也不可<03808>因<05921>父<01>殺<04191>(8714)子<01121>，{<03588>}{<0518>}各人<0376>要為本身的罪<09002><02399>而死<04191>(8799)。」
But the children<01121> of the murderers<05221>(8688) he slew<04191>(8689) not: according unto that which is written<03789>(8803) in the book<05612> of the law<08451> of Moses<04872>, wherein the LORD<03068> commanded<06680>(8765), saying<0559>(8800), The fathers<01> shall not be put to death<04191>(8714) for the children<01121>, nor the children<01121> be put to death<04191>(8714) for the fathers<01>; but every man<0376> shall be put to death<04191>(8799) for his own sin<02399>.
7 亞瑪謝<01931>在鹽<04417>谷<09002><01516>殺了<05221>(8689){<0853>}以東人<0123>一萬<06235><0505>，又攻<09002><04421>取了<08610>(8804){<0853>}西拉<05554>，改<0853>名<08034>叫<07121>(8799)約帖<03371>，直到<05704>今<02088>日<03117>。
He slew<05221>(8689) of Edom<0123> in the valley<01516> of salt<04417> ten<06235> thousand<0505>, and took<08610>(8804) Selah<05554> by war<04421>, and called<07121>(8799) the name<08034> of it Joktheel<03371> unto this day<03117>. {Selah: or, the rock}
8 那時<0227>，亞瑪謝<0558>差遣<07971>(8804)使者<04397>去見<0413>耶戶<03058>的孫子<01121>約哈斯<03059>的兒子<01121>以色列<03478>王<04428>約阿施<03060>，說<09001><0559>(8800)：「你來<03212>(8798)，我們二人相見<07200>(8691){<06440>}於戰場。」
Then Amaziah<0558> sent<07971>(8804) messengers<04397> to Jehoash<03060>, the son<01121> of Jehoahaz<03059> son<01121> of Jehu<03058>, king<04428> of Israel<03478>, saying<0559>(8800), Come<03212>(8798), let us look<07200>(8691) one another in the face<06440>.
9 以色列<03478>王<04428>約阿施<03060>差遣<07971>(8799)使者去見<0413>猶大<03063>王<04428>亞瑪謝<0558>，說<09001><0559>(8800)：「黎巴嫩<09002><03844>的<0834>蒺藜<02336>差遣<07971>(8804)使者去見<0413>黎巴嫩<09002><03844>的<0834>香柏樹<0730>，說<09001><0559>(8800)：將<0853>你的女兒<01323>給<05414>(8798)我兒子<09001><01121>為妻<09001><0802>。{<0834>}後來黎巴嫩<09002><03844>有一個野<07704>獸<02416>經過<05674>(8799)，把<0853>蒺藜<02336>踐踏<07429>(8799)了。
And Jehoash<03060> the king<04428> of Israel<03478> sent<07971>(8799) to Amaziah<0558> king<04428> of Judah<03063>, saying<0559>(8800), The thistle<02336> that was in Lebanon<03844> sent<07971>(8804) to the cedar<0730> that was in Lebanon<03844>, saying<0559>(8800), Give<05414>(8798) thy daughter<01323> to my son<01121> to wife<0802>: and there passed<05674>(8799) by a wild<07704> beast<02416> that was in Lebanon<03844>, and trode down<07429>(8799) the thistle<02336>.
10 你打敗<05221>(8689){<05221>}{(8687)}了{<0853>}以東人<0123>就心<03820>高氣傲<05375>(8804)，你以此為榮耀<03513>(8734)，在家<09002><01004>裡安居<03427>(8798)就罷了，為何<09001><04100>要惹<01624>(8691)禍<09002><07451>，使自己<0859>和猶大<03063>國一同<05973>敗亡<05307>(8804)呢？」
Thou hast indeed<05221>(8687) smitten<05221>(8689) Edom<0123>, and thine heart<03820> hath lifted thee up<05375>(8804): glory<03513>(8734) of this , and tarry<03427>(8798) at home<01004>: for why shouldest thou meddle<01624>(8691) to thy hurt<07451>, that thou shouldest fall<05307>(8804), even thou, and Judah<03063> with thee? {at home: Heb. at thy house}
11 亞瑪謝<0558>卻不肯<03808>聽<08085>(8804)這話。於是以色列<03478>王<04428>約阿施<03060>上來<05927>(8799)，在猶大<09001><03063>的<0834>伯．示麥<09002><01053>{<01931>}與猶大<03063>王<04428>亞瑪謝<0558>相見<07200>(8691){<06440>}於戰場。
But Amaziah<0558> would not hear<08085>(8804). Therefore Jehoash<03060> king<04428> of Israel<03478> went up<05927>(8799); and he and Amaziah<0558> king<04428> of Judah<03063> looked<07200>(8691) one another in the face<06440> at Bethshemesh<01053>, which belongeth to Judah<03063>.
12 猶大<03063>人敗<05062>(8735)在以色列<03478>人面前<09001><06440>，各自<0376>逃<05127>(8799)回家<09001><0168>裡去了。
And Judah<03063> was put to the worse<05062>(8735) before<06440> Israel<03478>; and they fled<05127>(8799) every man<0376> to their tents<0168>. {put...: Heb. smitten}
13 以色列<03478>王<04428>約阿施<03060>在伯．示麥<09002><01053>擒住<08610>(8804){<0853>}亞哈謝<0274>的孫子<01121>、約阿施<03060>的兒子<01121>猶大<03063>王<04428>亞瑪謝<0558>，就來到<0935>(8799)耶路撒冷<03389>，拆毀<06555>(8799)耶路撒冷<03389>的城牆<09002><02346>，從以法蓮<0669>門<09002><08179>直到<05704>角<06438>門<08179>共四<0702>百<03967>肘<0520>，
And Jehoash<03060> king<04428> of Israel<03478> took<08610>(8804) Amaziah<0558> king<04428> of Judah<03063>, the son<01121> of Jehoash<03060> the son<01121> of Ahaziah<0274>, at Bethshemesh<01053>, and came<0935>(8799) to Jerusalem<03389>, and brake down<06555>(8799) the wall<02346> of Jerusalem<03389> from the gate<08179> of Ephraim<0669> unto the corner<06438> gate<08179>, four<0702> hundred<03967> cubits<0520>.
14 又將<0853>耶和華<03068>殿<01004>裡與王<04428>宮<01004>府庫<09002><0214>裡{<04672>}{(8737)}所有的<03605>金<02091>銀<03701>和<0853>器皿<03627>都<03605>拿了<03947>(8804)去，並<0853>帶人<01121>去為質<08594>，就回<07725>(8799)撒馬利亞<08111>去了。
And he took<03947>(8804) all the gold<02091> and silver<03701>, and all the vessels<03627> that were found<04672>(8737) in the house<01004> of the LORD<03068>, and in the treasures<0214> of the king's<04428> house<01004>, and hostages<01121><08594>, and returned<07725>(8799) to Samaria<08111>.
15 約阿施<03060>其餘<03499>所<0834>行<06213>(8804)的事<01697>和他的勇力<01369>，並與<05973>猶大<03063>王<04428>亞瑪謝<0558>爭戰<03898>(8738)的事<0834>，都{<03808>}{<01992>}寫<03789>(8803)在<05921>以色列<03478>諸王<09001><04428>{<01697>}{<03117>}記<05612>上。
Now the rest<03499> of the acts<01697> of Jehoash<03060> which he did<06213>(8804), and his might<01369>, and how he fought<03898>(8738) with Amaziah<0558> king<04428> of Judah<03063>, are they not written<03789>(8803) in the book<05612> of the chronicles<01697><03117> of the kings<04428> of Israel<03478>?
16 約阿施<03060>與<05973>他列祖<01>同睡<07901>(8799)，葬<06912>(8735)在撒馬利亞<09002><08111>，{<05973>}以色列<03478>諸王<04428>的墳地裡。他兒子<01121>耶羅波安<03379>接續他<08478>作王<04427>(8799)。
And Jehoash<03060> slept<07901>(8799) with his fathers<01>, and was buried<06912>(8735) in Samaria<08111> with the kings<04428> of Israel<03478>; and Jeroboam<03379> his son<01121> reigned<04427>(8799) in his stead.
17 以色列<03478>王<04428>約哈斯<03059>的兒子<01121>約阿施<03060>死<04194>後<0310>，猶大<03063>王<04428>約阿施<03101>的兒子<01121>亞瑪謝<0558>又活了<02421>(8799)十五<02568><06240>年<08141>。
And Amaziah<0558> the son<01121> of Joash<03101> king<04428> of Judah<03063> lived<02421>(8799) after<0310> the death<04194> of Jehoash<03060> son<01121> of Jehoahaz<03059> king<04428> of Israel<03478> fifteen<02568><06240> years<08141>.
18 亞瑪謝<0558>其餘<03499>的事<01697>都{<03808>}{<01992>}寫<03789>(8803)在<05921>猶大<03063>列王<09001><04428>{<01697>}{<03117>}記<05612>上。
And the rest<03499> of the acts<01697> of Amaziah<0558>, are they not written<03789>(8803) in the book<05612> of the chronicles<01697><03117> of the kings<04428> of Judah<03063>?
19 耶路撒冷<09002><03389>有人背叛{<07194>}{(8799)}{<07195>}{<05921>}亞瑪謝，他就逃<05127>(8799)到拉吉<03923>；叛黨卻打發<07971>(8799){<0310>}人到拉吉<03923>將他殺了<04191>(8686){<08033>}。
Now they made<07194>(8799) a conspiracy<07195> against him in Jerusalem<03389>: and he fled<05127>(8799) to Lachish<03923>; but they sent<07971>(8799) after<0310> him to Lachish<03923>, and slew<04191>(8686) him there.
20 人就用<05921>馬<05483>將他<0853>的屍首馱<05375>(8799)到耶路撒冷<09002><03389>，葬<06912>(8735)在大衛<01732>城<09002><05892>{<05973>}他列祖<01>的墳地裡。
And they brought<05375>(8799) him on horses<05483>: and he was buried<06912>(8735) at Jerusalem<03389> with his fathers<01> in the city<05892> of David<01732>.
21 猶大<03063>眾<03605>民<05971>立<03947>(8799){<0853>}亞瑪謝<0558>的兒子<01121>亞撒利雅<05838>（又名烏西雅）接續<08478>他父<01>作王<04427>(8686){<0853>}，那時他<01931>年<01121>十六<08337><06240>歲<08141>。
And all the people<05971> of Judah<03063> took<03947>(8799) Azariah<05838>, which was sixteen<08337><06240> years<08141> old<01121>, and made him king<04427>(8686) instead of his father<01> Amaziah<0558>. {Azariah: also called, Uzziah}
22 亞瑪謝{<04428>}與<05973>他列祖<01>同睡<07901>(8800)之後<0310>，亞撒利雅<01931>收回<07725>(8686){<0853>}以拉他<0359>仍歸猶大<09001><03063>，又重新修理<01129>(8804)。
He built<01129>(8804) Elath<0359>, and restored<07725>(8686) it to Judah<03063>, after<0310> that the king<04428> slept<07901>(8800) with his fathers<01>.
23 猶大<03063>王<04428>約阿施<03101>的兒子<01121>亞瑪謝<09001><0558>{<08141>}十五<02568><06240>年<09002><08141>，以色列<03478>王<04428>約阿施<03101>的兒子<01121>耶羅波安<03379>在撒馬利亞<09002><08111>登基<04427>(8804)，作王四十<0705>一<0259>年<08141>。
In the fifteenth<02568><06240><08141> year<08141> of Amaziah<0558> the son<01121> of Joash<03101> king<04428> of Judah<03063> Jeroboam<03379> the son<01121> of Joash<03101> king<04428> of Israel<03478> began to reign<04427>(8804) in Samaria<08111>, and reigned forty<0705> and one<0259> years<08141>.
24 他行<06213>(8799)耶和華<03068>眼<09002><05869>中看為惡<07451>的事，不<03808>離開<05493>(8804)尼八<05028>的兒子<01121>耶羅波安<03379>使<0853>以色列<03478>人陷在罪裡<02398>(8689)的<0834>一切<04480><03605>罪<02403>。
And he did<06213>(8799) that which was evil<07451> in the sight<05869> of the LORD<03068>: he departed<05493>(8804) not from all the sins<02403> of Jeroboam<03379> the son<01121> of Nebat<05028>, who made Israel<03478> to sin<02398>(8689).
25 他<01931>收回<07725>(8689){<0853>}以色列<03478>邊界<01366>之地，從哈馬<02574>口<04480><09001><0935>(8800)直到<05704>亞拉巴<06160>海<03220>，正如耶和華<03068>─以色列<03478>的　神<0430>藉<09002><03027>他僕人<05650>迦特希弗人<04480><01662>亞米太<0573>的<0834>兒子<01121>先知<05030>約拿<03124>所<0834>說<01696>(8765)的{<09003>}{<01697>}。
He restored<07725>(8689) the coast<01366> of Israel<03478> from the entering<0935>(8800) of Hamath<02574> unto the sea<03220> of the plain<06160>, according to the word<01697> of the LORD<03068> God<0430> of Israel<03478>, which he spake<01696>(8765) by the hand<03027> of his servant<05650> Jonah<03124>, the son<01121> of Amittai<0573>, the prophet<05030>, which was of Gathhepher<01662>.
26 因為<03588>耶和華<03068>看見<07200>(8804){<0853>}{<06040>}以色列<03478>人甚是<03966>艱苦<04784>(8802)，無論困住的<06113>(8803){<0657>}、自由的<05800>(8803)都沒有了<0657>，也無人<0369>幫助<05826>(8802)以色列人<09001><03478>。
For the LORD<03068> saw<07200>(8804) the affliction<06040> of Israel<03478>, that it was very<03966> bitter<04784>(8802): for there was not<0657> any shut up<06113>(8803), nor any left<05800>(8803), nor any helper<05826>(8802) for Israel<03478>.
27 耶和華<03068>並沒有<03808>說<01696>(8765)要將<0853>以色列<03478>的名<08034>從天<08064>下<04480><08478>塗抹<09001><04229>(8800)，乃藉<09002><03027>約阿施<03101>的兒子<01121>耶羅波安<03379>拯救他們<03467>(8686)。
And the LORD<03068> said<01696>(8765) not that he would blot out<04229>(8800) the name<08034> of Israel<03478> from under heaven<08064>: but he saved<03467>(8686) them by the hand<03027> of Jeroboam<03379> the son<01121> of Joash<03101>.
28 耶羅波安<03379>其餘<03499>的事<01697>，凡<03605>他所<0834>行<06213>(8804)的和他的勇力<01369>，他怎樣<0834>爭戰<03898>(8738)，怎樣<0834>收回<07725>(8689){<0853>}大馬士革<01834>和<0853>先前屬猶大<09001><03063>的哈馬<02574>歸以色列<09002><03478>，都{<03808>}{<01992>}寫<03789>(8803)在<05921>以色列<03478>諸王<09001><04428>{<01697>}{<03117>}記<05612>上。
Now the rest<03499> of the acts<01697> of Jeroboam<03379>, and all that he did<06213>(8804), and his might<01369>, how he warred<03898>(8738), and how he recovered<07725>(8689) Damascus<01834>, and Hamath<02574>, which belonged to Judah<03063>, for Israel<03478>, are they not written<03789>(8803) in the book<05612> of the chronicles<01697><03117> of the kings<04428> of Israel<03478>?
29 耶羅波安<03379>與<05973>他列祖<01>{<05973>}以色列<03478>諸王<04428>同睡<07901>(8799)。他兒子<01121>撒迦利雅<02148>接續他<08478>作王<04427>(8799)。
And Jeroboam<03379> slept<07901>(8799) with his fathers<01>, even with the kings<04428> of Israel<03478>; and Zachariah<02148> his son<01121> reigned<04427>(8799) in his stead.
