33 雅各<03290>舉<05375>(8799)目<05869>觀看<07200>(8799)，見<02009>以掃<06215>來了<0935>(8802)，後頭跟著<05973>四<0702>百<03967>人<0376>，他就把<0853>孩子們<03206>分開<02673>(8799)交給<05921>利亞<03812>、{<05921>}拉結<07354>，和<05921>兩<08147>個使女<08198>，
And Jacob<03290> lifted up<05375>(8799) his eyes<05869>, and looked<07200>(8799), and, behold, Esau<06215> came<0935>(8802), and with him four<0702> hundred<03967> men<0376>. And he divided<02673>(8799) the children<03206> unto Leah<03812>, and unto Rachel<07354>, and unto the two<08147> handmaids<08198>.
2 並且叫<07760>(8799){<0853>}兩個使女<08198>和<0853>她們的孩子<03206>在前頭<07223>，{<0853>}利亞<03812>和她的孩子<03206>在後頭<0314>，{<0853>}拉結<07354>和<0853>約瑟<03130>在儘後頭<0314>。
And he put<07760>(8799) the handmaids<08198> and their children<03206> foremost<07223>, and Leah<03812> and her children<03206> after<0314>, and Rachel<07354> and Joseph<03130> hindermost<0314>.
3 他自己<01931>在他們前頭<09001><06440>過去<05674>(8804)，一連七<07651>次<06471>俯伏<07812>(8691)在地<0776>才<05704>就近<05066>(8800){<05704>}他哥哥<0251>。
And he passed over<05674>(8804) before them<06440>, and bowed himself<07812>(8691) to the ground<0776> seven<07651> times<06471>, until he came near<05066>(8800) to his brother<0251>.
4 以掃<06215>跑來<07323>(8799)迎接他<09001><07125>(8800)，將他抱住<02263>(8762)，又摟著<05307>(8799){<05921>}他的頸項<06677>，與他親嘴<05401>(8799)，兩個人就哭了<01058>(8799)。
And Esau<06215> ran<07323>(8799) to meet him<07125>(8800), and embraced<02263>(8762) him, and fell<05307>(8799) on his neck<06677>, and kissed him<05401>(8799): and they wept<01058>(8799).
5 以掃舉<05375>(8799){<0853>}目<05869>看見<07200>(8799){<0853>}婦人<0802>{<0853>}孩子<03206>，就說<0559>(8799)：「這些<0428>和你<09001>同行的是誰<04310>呢？」雅各說<0559>(8799)：「這些孩子<03206>是<0834>　神<0430>施恩<02603>(8804)給<0853>你的僕人<05650>的。」
And he lifted up<05375>(8799) his eyes<05869>, and saw<07200>(8799) the women<0802> and the children<03206>; and said<0559>(8799), Who are those<0428> with thee? And he said<0559>(8799), The children<03206> which God<0430> hath graciously given<02603>(8804) thy servant<05650>. {with...: Heb. to thee}
6 於是兩個使女<08198>和她們<02007>的孩子<03206>前來<05066>(8799)下拜<07812>(8691)；
Then the handmaidens<08198> came near<05066>(8799), they and their children<03206>, and they bowed themselves<07812>(8691).
7 利亞<03812>和她的孩子<03206>也<01571>前來<05066>(8799)下拜<07812>(8691)；隨後<0310>約瑟<03130>和拉結<07354>也前來<05066>(8738)下拜<07812>(8691)。
And Leah<03812> also with her children<03206> came near<05066>(8799), and bowed themselves<07812>(8691): and after<0310> came<05066><00> Joseph<03130> near<05066>(8738) and Rachel<07354>, and they bowed<07812>(8691) themselves.
8 以掃說<0559>(8799)：「我所<0834>遇見<06298>(8804)的這<02088>些群<03605>畜<04264>是甚麼<04310>意思呢{<09001>}？」雅各說<0559>(8799)：「是要在我主<0113>面前<09002><05869>蒙<09001><04672>(8800)恩<02580>的。」
And he said<0559>(8799), What meanest thou by all this drove<04264> which I met<06298>(8804)? And he said<0559>(8799), These are to find<04672>(8800) grace<02580> in the sight<05869> of my lord<0113>. {What...: Heb. What is all this band to thee?}
9 以掃<06215>說<0559>(8799)：「兄弟<0251>啊，我的<03426><09001>已經夠<07227>了，你的<09001><0834>仍歸<01961>你<09001>吧！」
And Esau<06215> said<0559>(8799), I have<03426> enough<07227>, my brother<0251>; keep that thou hast unto thyself. {keep...: Heb. be that to thee that is thine}
10 雅各<03290>說<0559>(8799)：「不然<0408><04994>，我若<0518>{<04994>}在你眼前<09002><05869>蒙<04672>(8804)恩<02580>，就求你從我手裡<04480><03027>收下<03947>(8804)這禮物<04503>；因為<03588><05921><03651>我見了<07200>(8804)你的面<06440>，如同見了<09003><07200>(8800)　神<0430>的面<06440>，並且你容納了我<07521>(8799)。
And Jacob<03290> said<0559>(8799), Nay, I pray thee, if now I have found<04672>(8804) grace<02580> in thy sight<05869>, then receive<03947>(8804) my present<04503> at my hand<03027>: for therefore I have seen<07200>(8804) thy face<06440>, as though I had seen<07200>(8800) the face<06440> of God<0430>, and thou wast pleased with me<07521>(8799).
11 求你<04994>收下<03947>(8798){<0853>}我{<0834>}帶來<0935>(8717)給你<09001>的禮物<01293>；因為<03588>　神<0430>恩待我<02603>(8804)，{<03588>}使<03426>我<09001>充足<03605>。」雅各再三地求<06484>(8799)他<09002>，他才收下了<03947>(8799)。
Take<03947>(8798), I pray thee, my blessing<01293> that is brought<0935>(8717) to thee; because God<0430> hath dealt graciously with me<02603>(8804), and because<03605><00> I have<03426> enough<03605>. And he urged<06484>(8799) him, and he took<03947>(8799) it . {enough: Heb. all things}
12 以掃說<0559>(8799)：「我們可以起身<05265>(8799)前往<03212>(8799)，我在你前頭<09001><05048>走<03212>(8799)。」
And he said<0559>(8799), Let us take our journey<05265>(8799), and let us go<03212>(8799), and I will go<03212>(8799) before thee.
13 雅各對他<0413>說<0559>(8799)：「我主<0113>知道<03045>(8802){<03588>}孩子們<03206>年幼嬌嫩<07390>，牛<01241>羊<06629>也正在乳養<05763>(8802)的時候{<05921>}，若是催趕<01849>(8804)一<0259>天<03117>，群畜<06629>都<03605>必死<04191>(8804)了。
And he said<0559>(8799) unto him, My lord<0113> knoweth<03045>(8802) that the children<03206> are tender<07390>, and the flocks<06629> and herds<01241> with young<05763>(8802) are with me: and if men should overdrive<01849>(8804) them one<0259> day<03117>, all the flock<06629> will die<04191>(8804).
14 求<04994>我主<0113>在僕人<05650>前頭<09001><06440>走<05674>(8799)，我<0589>要量著<09001><07272>{<0834>}在我面前<09001><06440>群畜<04399>和孩子<03206>的力量<09001><07272>慢慢地<09001><0328>前行<05095>(8691)，直<05704>走<0935>(8799){<0834>}到<0413>西珥<08165>我主<0113>那裡。」
Let my lord<0113>, I pray thee, pass over<05674>(8799) before<06440> his servant<05650>: and I will lead on<05095>(8691) softly<0328>, according as<07272> the cattle<04399> that goeth before me<06440> and the children<03206> be able to endure<07272>, until I come<0935>(8799) unto my lord<0113> unto Seir<08165>. {according...: Heb. according to the foot of the work, etc., and according to the foot of the children}
15 以掃<06215>說<0559>(8799)：「容<04994>我把<0834>跟隨我<0854>的人<05971>留<03322>(8686)幾個<04480>在你這裡<05973>。」雅各說<0559>(8799)：「何必呢<09001><04100><02088>？只要在我主<0113>眼前<09002><05869>蒙<04672>(8799)恩<02580>就是了。」
And Esau<06215> said<0559>(8799), Let me now leave<03322>(8686) with thee some of the folk<05971> that are with me. And he said<0559>(8799), What<04100> needeth it? let me find<04672>(8799) grace<02580> in the sight<05869> of my lord<0113>. {leave: Heb. set, or, place} {What...: Heb. Wherefore is this?}
16 於是，以掃<06215>當<01931>日<09002><03117>起行<09001><01870>，回<07725>(8799)往西珥<08165>去了。
So Esau<06215> returned<07725>(8799) that day<03117> on his way<01870> unto Seir<08165>.
17 雅各<03290>就往疏割<05523>去<05265>(8804)，在那裡為自己<09001>蓋造<01129>(8799)房屋<01004>，又為牲畜<09001><04735>搭<06213>(8804)棚<05521>；因此<05921><03651>那地方<04725>名<08034>叫<07121>(8804)疏割<05523>（就是棚的意思）。
And Jacob<03290> journeyed<05265>(8804) to Succoth<05523>, and built<01129>(8799) him an house<01004>, and made<06213>(8804) booths<05521> for his cattle<04735>: therefore the name<08034> of the place<04725> is called<07121>(8804) Succoth<05523>. {Succoth: that is, Booths}
18 雅各<03290>從巴旦‧亞蘭<04480><06307>回來<09002><0935>(8800)的時候，平平安安地<08003>到了<0935>(8799){<0834>}迦南<03667>地<09002><0776>的示劍<07927>城<05892>，在<0853>城<05892>東<06440>支搭帳棚<02583>(8799)，
And Jacob<03290> came<0935>(8799) to Shalem<08004>, a city<05892> of Shechem<07927>, which is in the land<0776> of Canaan<03667>, when he came<0935>(8800) from Padanaram<06307>; and pitched his tent<02583>(8799) before<06440> the city<05892>. {Shechem: Gr. Sychem}
19 就用一百<09002><03967>塊銀子<07192>向<04480><03027>示劍<07927>的父親<01>、哈抹<02544>的子孫<01121>買了<07069>(8799){<0834>}支<05186>(8804)帳棚<0168>的<0853>那塊<02513>地<07704>，
And he bought<07069>(8799) a parcel<02513> of a field<07704>, where he had spread<05186>(8804) his tent<0168>, at the hand<03027> of the children<01121> of Hamor<02544>, Shechem's<07927> father<01>, for an hundred<03967> pieces of money<07192>. {Hamor: Gr. Emmor} {pieces...: or, lambs}
20 在那裡<08033>築了<05324>(8686)一座壇<04196>，起名{<09001>}叫<07121>(8799)伊利‧伊羅伊‧以色列<0415>（就是　神、以色列　神的意思）。
And he erected<05324>(8686) there an altar<04196>, and called it<07121>(8799) Elelohe-Israel<0415>. {Elelohe-Israel: that is God the God of Israel}
