17:1 基列<01568>寄居的<04480><08453>提斯比人<08664>以利亞<0452>對<0413>亞哈<0256>說<0559>(8799)：「我指著所<0834>事奉<05975>(8804){<09001>}{<06440>}永生<02416>耶和華<03068>─以色列<03478>的上帝<0430>起誓，這<0428>幾年<08141>我若不<03588><0518>{<09001>}{<06310>}禱告<01697>，必不<0518><01961>降露<02919>，不下雨<04306>。」
And Elijah<0452> the Tishbite<08664>, who was of the inhabitants<08453> of Gilead<01568>, said<0559>(8799) unto Ahab<0256>, As the LORD<03068> God<0430> of Israel<03478> liveth<02416>, before<06440> whom I stand<05975>(8804), there shall not be dew<02919> nor rain<04306> these years<08141>, but according<06310> to my word<01697>. {Elijah: Heb. 17:2 耶和華<03068>的話<01697>臨<01961>到以利亞<0413>說<09001><0559>(8800)：
And the word<01697> of the LORD<03068> came unto him, saying<0559>(8800),
17:3 「你離開<03212>(8798)這裡<04480><02088>往<06437>(8804){<09001>}東<06924>去，藏<05641>(8738)在<05921>約旦河<03383>東邊<06440>的<0834>基立<03747>溪<09002><05158>旁。
Get<03212>(8798) thee hence, and turn<06437>(8804) thee eastward<06924>, and hide<05641>(8738) thyself by the brook<05158> Cherith<03747>, that is before<06440> Jordan<03383>.
17:4 你要<01961>喝<08354>(8799)那溪<04480><05158>裡的水，我已吩咐<06680>(8765){<0853>}烏鴉<06158>在那裡<08033>供養你<09001><03557>(8771)。」
And it shall be, that thou shalt drink<08354>(8799) of the brook<05158>; and I have commanded<06680>(8765) the ravens<06158> to feed<03557>(8771) thee there.
17:5 於是以利亞{<03212>}{(8799)}{<06213>}{(8799)}照著耶和華<03068>的話<09003><01697>，去<03212>(8799)住<03427>(8799)在<05921>約旦河<03383>東<06440>的<0834>基立<03747>溪<09002><05158>旁。
So he went<03212>(8799) and did<06213>(8799) according unto the word<01697> of the LORD<03068>: for he went<03212>(8799) and dwelt<03427>(8799) by the brook<05158> Cherith<03747>, that is before<06440> Jordan<03383>.
17:6 烏鴉<06158>早<09002><01242>{<03899>}{<01320>}晚<09002><06153>給他<09001>叼餅<03899>和肉<01320>來<0935>(8688)，他也<04480>喝<08354>(8799)那溪<05158>裡的水。
And the ravens<06158> brought<0935>(8688) him bread<03899> and flesh<01320> in the morning<01242>, and bread<03899> and flesh<01320> in the evening<06153>; and he drank<08354>(8799) of the brook<05158>.
17:7 {<01961>}過了<04480><07093>些日子<03117>，溪水<05158>就乾了<03001>(8799)，因為<03588>雨<01653>沒<03808>有<01961>下在地上<09002><0776>。
And it came to pass after<07093> a while<03117>, that the brook<05158> dried up<03001>(8799), because there had been no rain<01653> in the land<0776>. {after...: Heb. at the end of days}
17:8 耶和華<03068>的話<01697>臨<01961>到他<0413>說<09001><0559>(8800)：
And the word<01697> of the LORD<03068> came unto him, saying<0559>(8800),
17:9 「你起身<06965>(8798)往西頓<09001><06721>的<0834>撒勒法<06886>【撒勒法與路加福音四章二十六節同】去<03212>(8798)，住<03427>(8804)在那裡<08033>；{<02009>}我已吩咐<06680>(8765)那裡<08033>的一個寡<0490>婦<0802>供養你<09001><03557>(8771)。」
Arise<06965>(8798), get<03212>(8798) thee to Zarephath<06886>, which belongeth to Zidon<06721>, and dwell<03427>(8804) there: behold, I have commanded<06680>(8765) a widow<0490> woman<0802> there to sustain<03557>(8771) thee. {Zarephath: Gr. Sarepta}
17:10 以利亞就起身<06965>(8799)往撒勒法<06886>去<03212>(8799)。到了<0935>(8799){<0413>}城<05892>門<06607>，見<02009>有一個寡婦<0490><0802>在那裡<08033>撿<07197>(8781)柴<06086>，以利亞呼叫<07121>(8799)她<0413>說<0559>(8799)：「求<04994>你用器皿<09002><03627>取<03947>(8798)點<04592>水<04325>來給我<09001>喝<08354>(8799)。」
So he arose<06965>(8799) and went<03212>(8799) to Zarephath<06886>. And when he came<0935>(8799) to the gate<06607> of the city<05892>, behold, the widow<0490> woman<0802> was there gathering<07197>(8781) of sticks<06086>: and he called<07121>(8799) to her, and said<0559>(8799), Fetch<03947>(8798) me, I pray thee, a little<04592> water<04325> in a vessel<03627>, that I may drink<08354>(8799).
17:11 她去<03212>(8799)取<09001><03947>(8800)水的時候，以利亞又呼叫<07121>(8799)她<0413>說<0559>(8799)：「也求<04994>你{<09002>}{<03027>}拿<03947>(8798)點<06595>餅<03899>來給我<09001>！」
And as she was going<03212>(8799) to fetch<03947>(8800) it , he called<07121>(8799) to her, and said<0559>(8799), Bring<03947>(8798) me, I pray thee, a morsel<06595> of bread<03899> in thine hand<03027>.
17:12 她說<0559>(8799)：「我指著永生<02416>耶和華<03068>─你的上帝<0430>起誓，我<09001>沒有<0518><03426>餅<04580>，罈<09002><03537>內只有<03588><0518>一把<04393><03709>麵<07058>，瓶<09002><06835>裡只有一點<04592>油<08081>；我現在<02009>找<07197>(8781)兩根<08147>柴<06086>，回<0935>(8804)家要為我<09001>和我兒子<09001><01121>做<06213>(8804)餅；我們吃了<0398>(8804)，死<04191>(8804)就死吧！」
And she said<0559>(8799), As the LORD<03068> thy God<0430> liveth<02416>, I have<03426> not a cake<04580>, but an handful<04393><03709> of meal<07058> in a barrel<03537>, and a little<04592> oil<08081> in a cruse<06835>: and, behold, I am gathering<07197>(8781) two<08147> sticks<06086>, that I may go in<0935>(8804) and dress<06213>(8804) it for me and my son<01121>, that we may eat<0398>(8804) it, and die<04191>(8804).
17:13 以利亞<0452>對她<0413>說<0559>(8799)：「不要<0408>懼怕<03372>(8799)！可以照你所說的<09003><01697>去<0935>(8798)做<06213>(8798)吧！只要<0389>先<09002><07223>為我<09001>做<06213>(8798)一個小<06996>餅<05692>{<04480>}{<08033>}拿來<03318>(8689)給我<09001>，然後<09002><0314>為你<09001>和你的兒子<09001><01121>做<06213>(8799)餅。
And Elijah<0452> said<0559>(8799) unto her, Fear<03372>(8799) not; go<0935>(8798) and do<06213>(8798) as thou hast said<01697>: but make<06213>(8798) me thereof<08033> a little<06996> cake<05692> first<07223>, and bring<03318>(8689) it unto me, and after<0314> make<06213>(8799) for thee and for thy son<01121>.
17:14 因為<03588>耶和華<03068>─以色列<03478>的上帝<0430>如此<03541>說<0559>(8804)：罈<03537>內的麵<07058>必不<03808>減少<03615>(8799)，瓶<06835>裡的油<08081>必不<03808>缺短<02637>(8799)，直到<05704>耶和華<03068>使雨<01653>降<05414>(8800)在<05921>地<0127>上<06440>的日子<03117>。」
For thus saith<0559>(8804) the LORD<03068> God<0430> of Israel<03478>, The barrel<03537> of meal<07058> shall not waste<03615>(8799), neither shall the cruse<06835> of oil<08081> fail<02637>(8799), until the day<03117> that the LORD<03068> sendeth<05414>(8800) rain<01653> upon<06440> the earth<0127>. {sendeth: Heb. giveth}
17:15 婦人就照以利亞<0452>的話<09003><01697>去<03212>(8799)行<06213>(8799)。她<01931>和她家<01004>中的人，並以利亞<01931>，吃了<0398>(8799)許多日子<03117>。
And she went<03212>(8799) and did<06213>(8799) according to the saying<01697> of Elijah<0452>: and she, and he, and her house<01004>, did eat<0398>(8799) many days<03117>. {many...: or, a full year}
17:16 罈<03537>內的麵<07058>果不<03808>減少<03615>(8804)，瓶<06835>裡的油<08081>也不<03808>缺短<02638>，正如耶和華<03068>藉<09002><03027>以利亞<0452>所<0834>說<01696>(8765)的話<09003><01697>。
And the barrel<03537> of meal<07058> wasted<03615>(8804) not, neither did the cruse<06835> of oil<08081> fail<02638>, according to the word<01697> of the LORD<03068>, which he spake<01696>(8765) by<03027> Elijah<0452>. {by: Heb. by the hand of}
17:17 {<01961>}這<0428>事<01697>以後<0310>，作那家<01004>主母<01172>的婦人<0802>，她兒子<01121>病了<02470>(8804)；{<01961>}病<02483>得甚<03966>重<02389>，以致<05704><0834>身<09002>無<03808>{<03498>}{(8738)}氣息<05397>。
And it came to pass after<0310> these things<01697>, that the son<01121> of the woman<0802>, the mistress<01172> of the house<01004>, fell sick<02470>(8804); and his sickness<02483> was so<03966> sore<02389>, that there was no breath<05397> left<03498>(8738) in him.
17:18 婦人對<0413>以利亞<0452>說<0559>(8799)：「神<0430>人<0376>哪，我<09001>與你<09001>何干<04100>？你竟到我<0413>這裡來<0935>(8804)，使上帝想念<09001><02142>(8687){<0853>}我的罪<05771>，以致<0853>我的兒子<01121>死<09001><04191>(8687)呢？」
And she said<0559>(8799) unto Elijah<0452>, What have I to do with thee, O thou man<0376> of God<0430>? art thou come<0935>(8804) unto me to call<02142><00> my sin<05771> to remembrance<02142>(8687), and to slay<04191>(8687) my son<01121>?
17:19 以利亞對她<0413>說<0559>(8799)：「把<0853>你兒子<01121>交<05414>(8798)給我<09001>。」以利亞就從婦人懷中<04480><02436>將孩子接過來<03947>(8799)，抱<05927>(8686)到<0413>他<01931>所<0834>住<03427>(8802)的樓<05944>中{<08033>}，放<07901>(8686)在<05921>自己的床<04296>上，
And he said<0559>(8799) unto her, Give<05414>(8798) me thy son<01121>. And he took<03947>(8799) him out of her bosom<02436>, and carried him up<05927>(8686) into a loft<05944>, where he abode<03427>(8802), and laid<07901>(8686) him upon his own bed<04296>.
17:20 就求告<07121>(8799){<0413>}耶和華<03068>說<0559>(8799)：「耶和華<03068>─我的上帝<0430>啊，我<0589>寄居<01481>(8711)在<05973>這<0834>寡婦<0490>的家裡，你就<01571>降禍<07489>(8689)與她<05921>，使<0853>她的兒子<01121>死了<09001><04191>(8687)嗎？」
And he cried<07121>(8799) unto the LORD<03068>, and said<0559>(8799), O LORD<03068> my God<0430>, hast thou also brought evil<07489>(8689) upon the widow<0490> with whom I sojourn<01481>(8711), by slaying<04191>(8687) her son<01121>?
17:21 以利亞三<07969>次<06471>伏<04058>(8709)在<05921>孩子<03206>的身上，求告<07121>(8799){<0413>}耶和華<03068>說<0559>(8799)：「耶和華<03068>─我的上帝<0430>啊，求<04994>你使這<02088>孩子<03206>的靈魂<05315>仍入<07725>(8799){<05921>}他的身體<07130>！」
And he stretched<04058>(8709) himself upon the child<03206> three<07969> times<06471>, and cried<07121>(8799) unto the LORD<03068>, and said<0559>(8799), O LORD<03068> my God<0430>, I pray thee, let this child's<03206> soul<05315> come<07725><00> into him<07130> again<07725>(8799). {stretched: Heb. measured} {into...: Heb. into his inward parts}
17:22 耶和華<03068>應允<08085>(8799)以利亞<0452>的話<09002><06963>，孩子<03206>的靈魂<05315>仍入<07725>(8799){<05921>}他的身體<07130>，他就活了<02421>(8799)。
And the LORD<03068> heard<08085>(8799) the voice<06963> of Elijah<0452>; and the soul<05315> of the child<03206> came<07725><00> into him<07130> again<07725>(8799), and he revived<02421>(8799).
17:23 以利亞<0452>將<0853>孩子<03206>從<04480>樓上<05944>抱<03947>(8799)下來<03381>(8686)，進屋子<01004>交<05414>(8799)給他母親<09001><0517>，{<0452>}說<0559>(8799)：「看哪<07200>(8798)，你的兒子<01121>活了<02416>！」
And Elijah<0452> took<03947>(8799) the child<03206>, and brought him down<03381>(8686) out of the chamber<05944> into the house<01004>, and delivered<05414>(8799) him unto his mother<0517>: and Elijah<0452> said<0559>(8799), See<07200>(8798), thy son<01121> liveth<02416>.
17:24 婦人<0802>對<0413>以利亞<0452>說<0559>(8799)：「現在<06258><02088>我知道<03045>(8804){<03588>}你<0859>是神<0430>人<0376>，耶和華<03068>藉你口<09002><06310>所說的話<01697>是真的<0571>。」
And the woman<0802> said<0559>(8799) to Elijah<0452>, Now by this<02088> I know<03045>(8804) that thou art a man<0376> of God<0430>, and that the word<01697> of the LORD<03068> in thy mouth<06310> is truth<0571>.
