14:1 那<01931>時<09002><06256>，耶羅波安<03379>的兒子<01121>亞比雅<029>病了<02470>(8804)。
At that time<06256> Abijah<029> the son<01121> of Jeroboam<03379> fell sick<02470>(8804).
14:2 耶羅波安<03379>對他的妻<09001><0802>說<0559>(8799)：「你可以<04994>起來<06965>(8798)改裝<08138>(8690)，使人不<03808>知道<03045>(8799){<03588>}你<0859>是耶羅波安<03379>的妻<0802>，往示羅<07887>去<01980>(8804)，{<02009>}在那裡<08033>有先知<05030>亞希雅<0281>。他<01931>曾告訴<01696>(8765)我<05921>說，你必作<05921>這<02088>民<05971>的王<09001><04428>。

And Jeroboam's<03379> wife<0802> did so<06213>(8799), and arose<06965>(8799), and went<03212>(8799) to Shiloh<07887>, and came<0935>(8799) to the house<01004> of Ahijah<0281>. 14:5 耶和華<03068>先曉諭<0413>亞希雅<0281>說<0559>(8804)：「{<02009>}耶羅波安<03379>的妻<0802>要來<0935>(8802)問<09001><01875>(8800){<01697>}你<04480><05973>，{<0413>}{<01121>}因<03588>她兒子<01931>病了<02470>(8802)，你當如此<09003><02090>如此<09003><02088>告訴<01696>(8762)她<0413>。{<01961>}她進來<09003><0935>(8800)的時候必<01931>裝作別的<05234>(8693)婦人。」
And the LORD<03068> said<0559>(8804) unto Ahijah<0281>, Behold, the wife<0802> of Jeroboam<03379> cometh<0935>(8802) to ask<01875>(8800) a thing<01697> of thee for her son<01121>; for he is sick<02470>(8802): thus<02090> and thus shalt thou say<01696>(8762) unto her: for it shall be, when she cometh in<0935>(8800), that she shall feign herself to be another<05234>(8693) woman .

And it was so , when Ahijah<0281> heard<08085>(8800) the sound<06963> of her feet<07272>, as she came in<0935>(8802) at the door<06607>, that he said<0559>(8799), Come in<0935>(8798), thou wife<0802> of Jeroboam<03379>; why feignest thou thyself to be another<05234>(8693)? for I am sent<07971>(8803) to thee with heavy<07186> tidings . {heavy: Heb. hard}
14:7 你回去<03212>(8798)告訴<0559>(8798)耶羅波安<09001><03379>說：『耶和華<03068>─以色列<03478>的神<0430>如此<03541>說<0559>(8804)：{<03282>}{<0834>}我從民<05971>中<04480><08432>將你高舉<07311>(8689)，立你<05414>(8799)作<05921>我民<05971>以色列<03478>的君<05057>，
Go<03212>(8798), tell<0559>(8798) Jeroboam<03379>, Thus saith<0559>(8804) the LORD<03068> God<0430> of Israel<03478>, Forasmuch as<03282> I exalted<07311>(8689) thee from among<08432> the people<05971>, and made<05414>(8799) thee prince<05057> over my people<05971> Israel<03478>,
14:8 將<0853>國<04467>從大衛<01732>家<04480><01004>奪回<07167>(8799)賜給<05414>(8799)你<09001>；你卻不<03808>效法<01961>我僕人<09003><05650>大衛<01732>，{<0834>}遵守<08104>(8804)我的誡命<04687>，{<0834>}一<09002><03605>心<03824>順<01980>(8804)從我<0310>，{<07535>}行<09001><06213>(8800)我眼中<09002><05869>看為正<03477>的事。
And rent<07167><00> the kingdom<04467> away<07167>(8799) from the house<01004> of David<01732>, and gave<05414>(8799) it thee: and yet thou hast not been as my servant<05650> David<01732>, who kept<08104>(8804) my commandments<04687>, and who followed<01980>(8804)<0310> me with all his heart<03824>, to do<06213>(8800) that only which was right<03477> in mine eyes<05869>;
14:9 你竟行<09001><06213>(8800)惡<07489>(8686)，比<04480><03605>那<0834>在<01961>你以先<09001><06440>的更甚，{<03212>}{(8799)}為自己<09001>立了<06213>(8799)別<0312>神<0430>，鑄了偶像<04541>，惹我發怒<09001><03707>(8687)，將我<0853>丟<07993>(8689)在背<01458>後<0310>。
But hast done<06213>(8800) evil<07489>(8686) above all that were before<06440> thee: for thou hast gone<03212>(8799) and made<06213>(8799) thee other<0312> gods<0430>, and molten images<04541>, to provoke me to anger<03707>(8687), and hast cast<07993>(8689) me behind<0310> thy back<01458>:
14:10 因此<09001><03651>，{<02009>}我必使災禍<07451>臨<0935>(8688)到<0413>耶羅波安<03379>的家<01004>，將屬耶羅波安<09001><03379>的男丁<08366>(8688)<09002><07023>，無論困住的<06113>(8803)、自由的<05800>(8803)都從以色列<09002><03478>中剪除<03772>(8689)，必除盡<01197>(8765)耶羅波安<03379>的家<01004>{<0310>}，如<09003><0834>人除<01197>(8762){<05704>}盡<08552>(8800)糞土<01557>一般。
Therefore, behold, I will bring<0935>(8688) evil<07451> upon the house<01004> of Jeroboam<03379>, and will cut off<03772>(8689) from Jeroboam<03379> him that pisseth<08366>(8688) against the wall<07023>, and him that is shut up<06113>(8803) and left<05800>(8803) in Israel<03478>, and will take away<01197>(8765) the remnant<0310> of the house<01004> of Jeroboam<03379>, as a man taketh away<01197>(8762) dung<01557>, till it be all gone<08552>(8800).
14:11 凡屬耶羅波安<09001><03379>的人，死<04191>(8801)在城<09002><05892>中的必被狗<03611>吃<0398>(8799)，死<04191>(8801)在田野<09002><07704>的必被空中<08064>的鳥<05775>吃<0398>(8799)。這是<03588>耶和華<03068>說<01696>(8765)的。』
Him that dieth<04191>(8801) of Jeroboam<03379> in the city<05892> shall the dogs<03611> eat<0398>(8799); and him that dieth<04191>(8801) in the field<07704> shall the fowls<05775> of the air<08064> eat<0398>(8799): for the LORD<03068> hath spoken<01696>(8765) it .
14:12 所以你<0859>起身<06965>(8798)回家<09001><01004>去<03212>(8798)吧！你的腳<07272>一進<09002><0935>(8800)城<05892>，你兒子<03206>就必死了<04191>(8804)。
Arise<06965>(8798) thou therefore, get<03212>(8798) thee to thine own house<01004>: and when thy feet<07272> enter<0935>(8800) into the city<05892>, the child<03206> shall die<04191>(8804).
14:13 以色列<03478>眾人<03605>必為他<09001>哀哭<05594>(8804)，將他<0853>葬埋<06912>(8804)。凡屬耶羅波安<09001><03379>的人，{<03588>}{<02088>}惟有他<09001><0905>得入<0935>(8799){<0413>}墳墓<06913>；因為<03282>在耶羅波安<03379>的家<09002><01004>中，只有他<09002>向<0413>耶和華<03068>─以色列<03478>的神<0430>顯出<04672>(8738)善<02896>行<01697>。
And all Israel<03478> shall mourn<05594>(8804) for him, and bury<06912>(8804) him: for he only of Jeroboam<03379> shall come<0935>(8799) to the grave<06913>, because in him there is found<04672>(8738) some good<02896> thing<01697> toward the LORD<03068> God<0430> of Israel<03478> in the house<01004> of Jeroboam<03379>.
14:14 耶和華<03068>必另立<06965>(8689){<09001>}一王<04428>治理<05921>以色列<03478>。到了<02088>日期<03117>，他<0834>必剪除<03772>(8686){<0853>}耶羅波安<03379>的家<01004>；那日期<04100>已經<01571>到了<06258>。
Moreover the LORD<03068> shall raise him up<06965>(8689) a king<04428> over Israel<03478>, who shall cut off<03772>(8686) the house<01004> of Jeroboam<03379> that day<03117>: but what? even now.
14:15 耶和華<03068>必擊打<05221>(8689){<0853>}以色列人<03478>，使他們搖動<05110>(8799)，像<09003><0834>水<09002><04325>中的蘆葦<07070>一般；又將<0853>他們{<03478>}從<04480><05921>耶和華{<0834>}賜<05414>(8804)給他們列祖<09001><01>的{<02063>}美<02896>地<0127>上拔出來<05428>(8804)，分散<02219>(8765)在大河<09001><05104>那邊<04480><05676>；因為<03282><0834>他們做<06213>(8804){<0853>}木偶<0842>，惹<0853>耶和華<03068>發怒<03707>(8688)。
For the LORD<03068> shall smite<05221>(8689) Israel<03478>, as a reed<07070> is shaken<05110>(8799) in the water<04325>, and he shall root up<05428>(8804) Israel<03478> out of this good<02896> land<0127>, which he gave<05414>(8804) to their fathers<01>, and shall scatter<02219>(8765) them beyond<05676> the river<05104>, because they have made<06213>(8804) their groves<0842>, provoking the LORD<03068> to anger<03707>(8688).
14:16 因<09002><01558>耶羅波安<03379>所<0834>犯<02398>(8804)的罪<02403>，又<0834>使<0853>以色列人<03478>陷在罪裡<02398>(8689)，耶和華<03068>必將<0853>以色列人交<05414>(8799)給仇敵。」
And he shall give<05414><00> Israel<03478> up<05414>(8799) because<01558> of the sins<02403> of Jeroboam<03379>, who did sin<02398>(8804), and who made Israel<03478> to sin<02398>(8689).
14:17 耶羅波安<03379>的妻<0802>起身<06965>(8799)回去<03212>(8799)，到了<0935>(8799)得撒<08656>，{<01931>}剛到<0935>(8802){<01004>}門檻<09002><05592>，兒子<05288>就死了<04191>(8804)。
And Jeroboam's<03379> wife<0802> arose<06965>(8799), and departed<03212>(8799), and came<0935>(8799) to Tirzah<08656>: and when she came<0935>(8802) to the threshold<05592> of the door<01004>, the child<05288> died<04191>(8804);
14:18 以色列<03478>眾人<03605>將他<0853>葬埋<06912>(8799)，為他<09001>哀哭<05594>(8799)，正如耶和華<03068>藉<09002><03027>他僕人<05650>先知<05030>亞希雅<0281>所<0834>說<01696>(8765)的話<09003><01697>。
And they buried<06912>(8799) him; and all Israel<03478> mourned<05594>(8799) for him, according to the word<01697> of the LORD<03068>, which he spake<01696>(8765) by the hand<03027> of his servant<05650> Ahijah<0281> the prophet<05030>.
14:19 耶羅波安<03379>其餘<03499>的事<01697>，他怎樣<0834>爭戰<03898>(8738)，怎樣<0834>作王<04427>(8804)，{<02009>}都寫<03789>(8803)在<05921>以色列<03478>諸王<09001><04428>{<01697>}{<03117>}記<05612>上。
And the rest<03499> of the acts<01697> of Jeroboam<03379>, how he warred<03898>(8738), and how he reigned<04427>(8804), behold, they are written<03789>(8803) in the book<05612> of the chronicles<01697><03117> of the kings<04428> of Israel<03478>.
14:20 耶羅波安<03379>{<03117>}{<0834>}作王<04427>(8804)二十<06242>二<08147>年<08141>，就與<05973>他列祖<01>同睡<07901>(8799)。他兒子<01121>拿答<05070>接續他<08478>作王<04427>(8799)。
And the days<03117> which Jeroboam<03379> reigned<04427>(8804) were two<08147> and twenty<06242> years<08141>: and he slept<07901>(8799) with his fathers<01>, and Nadab<05070> his son<01121> reigned<04427>(8799) in his stead. {slept: Heb. lay down}

And Rehoboam<07346> the son<01121> of Solomon<08010> reigned<04427>(8804) in Judah<03063>. Rehoboam<07346> was forty<0705> and one<0259> years<08141> old<01121> when he began to reign<04427>(8800), and he reigned<04427>(8804) seventeen<07651><06240> years<08141> in Jerusalem<03389>, the city<05892> which the LORD<03068> did choose<0977>(8804) out of all the tribes<07626> of Israel<03478>, to put<07760>(8800) his name<08034> there. And his mother's<0517> name<08034> was Naamah<05279> an Ammonitess<05985>.
14:22 猶大人<03063>行<06213>(8799)耶和華<03068>眼中<09002><05869>看為惡<07451>的事，{<0834>}犯<02398>(8804)罪<09002><02403>觸動他<0853>的憤恨<07065>(8762)，比他們列<04480><03605>祖<01>{<0834>}{<06213>}{(8804)}更甚。
And Judah<03063> did<06213>(8799) evil<07451> in the sight<05869> of the LORD<03068>, and they provoked him to jealousy<07065>(8762) with their sins<02403> which they had committed<02398>(8804), above all that their fathers<01> had done<06213>(8804).
14:23 因為{<01571>}他們<01992>在<05921>各<03605>高<01364>岡<01389>上，各<03605>青翠<07488>樹<06086>下<08478>築<01129>(8799)壇<01116>{<09001>}，立柱像<04676>和木偶<0842>。
For they also built<01129>(8799) them high places<01116>, and images<04676>, and groves<0842>, on every high<01364> hill<01389>, and under every green<07488> tree<06086>. {images: or, standing images, or, statues}
14:24 國<09002><0776>中也<01571>有<01961>孌童<06945>。猶大人效法耶和華<03068>在以色列<03478>人<01121>面前<04480><06440>所<0834>趕出<03423>(8689)的外邦人<01471>，行<06213>(8804)一切<09003><03605>可憎惡的事<08441>。
And there were also sodomites<06945> in the land<0776>: and they did<06213>(8804) according to all the abominations<08441> of the nations<01471> which the LORD<03068> cast out<03423>(8689) before<06440> the children<01121> of Israel<03478>.
14:25 {<01961>}羅波安<07346>王<09001><04428>第五<02549>年<09002><08141>，埃及<04714>王<04428>示撒<07895>上來<05927>(8804)攻取<05921>耶路撒冷<03389>，
And it came to pass in the fifth<02549> year<08141> of king<04428> Rehoboam<07346>, that Shishak<07895> king<04428> of Egypt<04714> came up<05927>(8804) against Jerusalem<03389>:
14:26 奪了<03947>(8799){<0853>}耶和華<03068>殿<01004>{<0853>}{<0214>}和<0853>王<04428>宮<01004>裡的寶物<0214>，盡都<03605>帶走<03947>(8804)，又奪去<03947>(8799){<0853>}所羅門<08010>製造<06213>(8804)的{<0834>}{<03605>}金<02091>盾牌<04043>。
And he took away<03947>(8799) the treasures<0214> of the house<01004> of the LORD<03068>, and the treasures<0214> of the king's<04428> house<01004>; he even took away<03947>(8804) all: and he took away<03947>(8799) all the shields<04043> of gold<02091> which Solomon<08010> had made<06213>(8804).
14:27 羅波安<07346>王<04428>製造<06213>(8799)銅<05178>盾牌<04043>代替<08478>那金盾牌，交<06485>(8689)給<05921>{<03027>}守<08104>(8802)王<04428>宮<01004>門<06607>的護衛<07323>(8801)長<08269>看守。
And king<04428> Rehoboam<07346> made<06213>(8799) in their stead brasen<05178> shields<04043>, and committed<06485>(8689) them unto the hands<03027> of the chief<08269> of the guard<07323>(8801), which kept<08104>(8802) the door<06607> of the king's<04428> house<01004>. {guard: Heb. runners}
14:28 {<01961>}王<04428>每逢<04480><01767>進<0935>(8800)耶和華<03068>的殿<01004>，護衛兵<07323>(8801)就拿<05375>(8799)這盾牌，隨後仍將盾牌送回<07725>(8689)，放在<0413>護衛<07323>(8801)房<08372>。
And it was so , when<01767> the king<04428> went<0935>(8800) into the house<01004> of the LORD<03068>, that the guard<07323>(8801) bare<05375>(8799) them, and brought them back<07725>(8689) into the guard<07323>(8801) chamber<08372>.
14:29 羅波安<07346>其餘<03499>的事<01697>，凡<03605>他所<0834>行<06213>(8804)的，{<03808>}{<01992>}都<03605>寫<03789>(8803)在<05921>猶大<03063>列王<09001><04428>{<01697>}{<03117>}記<05612>上。
Now the rest<03499> of the acts<01697> of Rehoboam<07346>, and all that he did<06213>(8804), are they not written<03789>(8803) in the book<05612> of the chronicles<01697><03117> of the kings<04428> of Judah<03063>?
14:30 {<0996>}羅波安<07346>與<0996>耶羅波安<03379>{<01961>}時常<03605><03117>爭戰<04421>。
And there was war<04421> between Rehoboam<07346> and Jeroboam<03379> all their days<03117>.
14:31 羅波安<07346>與<05973>他列祖<01>同睡<07901>(8799)，葬<06912>(8735)在<05973>大衛<01732>城<09002><05892>他列祖<01>的墳地裡。他母親<0517>名<08034>叫拿瑪<05279>，是亞捫人<05985>。他兒子<01121>亞比央<038>（又名亞比雅）接續他<08478>作王<04427>(8799)。
And Rehoboam<07346> slept<07901>(8799) with his fathers<01>, and was buried<06912>(8735) with his fathers<01> in the city<05892> of David<01732>. And his mother's<0517> name<08034> was Naamah<05279> an Ammonitess<05985>. And Abijam<038> his son<01121> reigned<04427>(8799) in his stead. {Abijam: also called, Abijah: Gr. Abia}
