31:1 雅各聽見<08085>(8799)拉班<03837>的兒子們<01121>有<0853>話<01697>說<09001><0559>(8800)：「雅各<03290>把<0853>我們父親<09001><01>所有的<0834>都<03605>奪了去<03947>(8804)，並藉著<04480><0834>我們父親的<09001><01>，得了<06213>(8804){<0853>}這<02088>一切的<03605>榮耀<03519>（或譯：財）。」
And he heard<08085>(8799) the words<01697> of Laban's<03837> sons<01121>, saying<0559>(8800), Jacob<03290> hath taken away<03947>(8804) all that was our father's<01>; and of that which was our father's<01> hath he gotten<06213>(8804) all this glory<03519>.
31:2 雅各<03290>見<07200>(8799){<0853>}拉班<03837>的氣色<06440>{<02009>}向他<05973>不如<09003><08543>從前<08032>了。
And Jacob<03290> beheld<07200>(8799) the countenance<06440> of Laban<03837>, and, behold, it was not toward him as<08543> before<08032>. {as before: Heb. as yesterday and the day before}
31:3 耶和華<03068>對<0413>雅各<03290>說<0559>(8799)：「你要回<07725>(8798){<0413>}你祖、你父<01>之地<0776>，到你親族<09001><04138>那裡去，我必<01961>(8799)與你<05973>同在。」
And the LORD<03068> said<0559>(8799) unto Jacob<03290>, Return<07725>(8798) unto the land<0776> of thy fathers<01>, and to thy kindred<04138>; and I will be with thee.
31:4 雅各<03290>就打發<07971>(8799)人，叫<07121>(8799)拉結<09001><07354>和利亞<09001><03812>到<0413>田野<07704>羊群<06629>那裡來，
And Jacob<03290> sent<07971>(8799) and called<07121>(8799) Rachel<07354> and Leah<03812> to the field<07704> unto his flock<06629>,
31:5 對她們<09001>說<0559>(8799)：「我<0595>看<07200>(8802){<0853>}你們父親<01>的氣色<06440>{<03588>}向我<0413>不<0369>如從前<09003><08543><08032>了；但我父親<01>的上帝<0430>向來與我<05978>同在<01961>(8804)。
And said<0559>(8799) unto them, I see<07200>(8802) your father's<01> countenance<06440>, that it is not toward me as<08543> before<08032>; but the God<0430> of my father<01> hath been<01961>(8804) with me.
31:6 你們<0859>也知道<03045>(8804)，{<03588>}我盡了<09002><03605>我的力量<03581>服事<05647>(8804){<0853>}你們的父親<01>。
And ye<0859> know<03045>(8804) that with all my power<03581> I have served<05647>(8804) your father<01>.
31:7 你們的父親<01>欺哄<02048>(8765)我<09002>，十<06235>次<04489>改了<02498>(8689){<0853>}我的工價<04909>；然而上帝<0430>不<03808>容他<05414>(8804)害<09001><07489>(8687)我<05978>。
And your father<01> hath deceived<02048>(8765) me, and changed<02498>(8689) my wages<04909> ten<06235> times<04489>; but God<0430> suffered him<05414>(8804) not to hurt<07489>(8687) me<05978>.
31:8 他若<0518>說<0559>(8799)：{<03541>}『有點的<05348>歸你作<01961>工價<07939>』，羊群<06629>所生<03205>(8804)的都<03605>有點<05348>；他若<0518>說<0559>(8799)：{<03541>}『有紋的<06124>歸你作<01961>工價<07939>』，羊群<06629>所生<03205>(8804)的都<03605>有紋<06124>。
If he said<0559>(8799) thus, The speckled<05348> shall be thy wages<07939>; then all the cattle<06629> bare<03205>(8804) speckled<05348>: and if he said<0559>(8799) thus, The ringstraked<06124> shall be thy hire<07939>; then bare<03205>(8804) all the cattle<06629> ringstraked<06124>.
31:9 這樣，上帝<0430>把<0853>你們父親<01>的牲畜<04735>奪來<05337>(8686)賜<05414>(8799)給我<09001>了。
Thus God<0430> hath taken away<05337>(8686) the cattle<04735> of your father<01>, and given<05414>(8799) them to me.
31:10 {<01961>}{(8799)}羊<06629>配合<03179>(8763)的時候<09002><06256>，我夢中<09002><02472>舉<05375>(8799)目<05869>一看<07200>(8799)，見<02009>跳<05927>(8802){<05921>}母羊<06629>的公羊<06260>都是有紋的<06124>、有點的<05348>、有花斑的<01261>。
And it came to pass at the time<06256> that the cattle<06629> conceived<03179>(8763), that I lifted up<05375>(8799) mine eyes<05869>, and saw<07200>(8799) in a dream<02472>, and, behold, the rams<06260> which leaped<05927>(8802) upon the cattle<06629> were ringstraked<06124>, speckled<05348>, and grisled<01261>. {rams: or, he goats}
31:11 上帝<0430>的使者<04397>在那夢中<09002><02472>呼叫我<0413>說<0559>(8799)：『雅各<03290>。』我說<0559>(8799)：『我在這裡<02009>。』
And the angel<04397> of God<0430> spake<0559>(8799) unto me in a dream<02472>, saying , Jacob<03290>: And I said<0559>(8799), Here am I.

Are we not counted<02803>(8738) of him strangers<05237>? for he hath sold<04376>(8804) us, and hath quite<0398>(8800) devoured<0398>(8799) also our money<03701>.

For all the riches<06239> which God<0430> hath taken<05337>(8689) from our father<01>, that is ours, and our children's<01121>: now then, whatsoever God<0430> hath said<0559>(8804) unto thee, do<06213>(8798).
31:17 雅各<03290>起來<06965>(8799)，使<0853>他的兒子<01121>和<0853>妻子<0802>都騎<05375>(8799)上<05921>駱駝<01581>，
Then Jacob<03290> rose up<06965>(8799), and set<05375>(8799) his sons<01121> and his wives<0802> upon camels<01581>;

So he fled<01272>(8799) with all that he had; and he rose up<06965>(8799), and passed over<05674>(8799) the river<05104>, and set<07760>(8799) his face<06440> toward the mount<02022> Gilead<01568>.

And it was told<05046>(8714) Laban<03837> on the third<07992> day<03117> that Jacob<03290> was fled<01272>(8804).

31:25 拉班<03837>追上<05381>(8686){<0853>}雅各<03290>。雅各<03290>在山上<09002><02022>支搭<08628>(8804){<0853>}帳棚<0168>；拉班<03837>和<0853>他的眾弟兄<0251>也在基列<01568>山上<09002><02022>支搭<08628>(8804)帳棚。
Then Laban<03837> overtook<05381>(8686) Jacob<03290>. Now Jacob<03290> had pitched<08628>(8804) his tent<0168> in the mount<02022>: and Laban<03837> with his brethren<0251> pitched<08628>(8804) in the mount<02022> of Gilead<01568>.
31:26 拉班<03837>對雅各<09001><03290>說<0559>(8799)：「你做的<06213>(8804)是甚麼<04100>事呢？你背著我<0853><03824>偷走了<01589>(8799)，又把<0853>我的女兒們<01323>帶了去<05090>(8762)，如同用刀劍<02719>擄去的一般<09003><07617>(8803)。
And Laban<03837> said<0559>(8799) to Jacob<03290>, What hast thou done<06213>(8804), that thou hast stolen away<01589>(8799) unawares<03824> to me, and carried away<05090>(8762) my daughters<01323>, as captives<07617>(8803) taken with the sword<02719>?
31:27 你為甚麼<09001><04100>暗暗地<02244>(8738)逃跑<09001><01272>(8800)，偷著<01589>(8799)走{<0853>}，並不<03808>告訴<05046>(8689)我<09001>，叫我可以歡樂<09002><08057>、唱歌<09002><07892>、擊鼓<09002><08596>、彈琴地<09002><03658>送你<07971>(8762)回去？
Wherefore didst thou flee away<01272>(8800) secretly<02244>(8738), and steal away<01589>(8799) from me; and didst not tell<05046>(8689) me, that I might have sent thee away<07971>(8762) with mirth<08057>, and with songs<07892>, with tabret<08596>, and with harp<03658>? {steal...: Heb. hast stolen me}
31:28 又不<03808>容我<05203>(8804)與外孫<09001><01121>和女兒<09001><01323>親嘴<09001><05401>(8763)？你所行的<06213>(8800)真是<06258>愚昧<05528>(8689)！
And hast not suffered<05203>(8804) me to kiss<05401>(8763) my sons<01121> and my daughters<01323>? thou hast now done foolishly<05528>(8689) in so doing<06213>(8800).
31:29 我手<03027>中原有<03426>能力<09001><0410>{<09001>}{<06213>}{(8800)}害<07451>你<05973>，只是你父親<01>的上帝<0430>昨夜<0570>{<0559>}{(8804)}對我<0413>說<09001><0559>(8800)：『你<09001>要小心<08104>(8734)，不可與<05973>雅各<03290>說<04480><01696>(8763)好<04480><02896>說<05704>歹<07451>。』
It is<03426> in the power<0410> of my hand<03027> to do<06213>(8800) you hurt<07451>: but the God<0430> of your father<01> spake<0559>(8804) unto me yesternight<0570>, saying<0559>(8800), Take thou heed<08104>(8734) that thou speak not<01696>(8763) to Jacob<03290> either good<02896> or bad<07451>.
31:30 現在<06258>你雖然<03588>想<03700>(8736)<03700>(8738)你父<01>家<09001><01004>，不得不<01980>(8800)去<01980>(8804)，為甚麼<09001><04100>又偷了<01589>(8804){<0853>}我的神像<0430>呢？」
And now, though thou wouldest needs<01980>(8800) be gone<01980>(8804), because thou sore<03700>(8736) longedst<03700>(8738) after thy father's<01> house<01004>, yet wherefore hast thou stolen<01589>(8804) my gods<0430>?
31:31 雅各<03290>回答<06030>(8799)拉班<09001><03837>說<0559>(8799)：「{<03588>}{<03372>}{(8804)}恐怕<06435>{<03588>}{<0559>}{(8804)}你把<0853>你的女兒<01323>從我<04480><05973>奪去<01497>(8799)，所以我逃跑。
And Jacob<03290> answered<06030>(8799) and said<0559>(8799) to Laban<03837>, Because I was afraid<03372>(8804): for I said<0559>(8804), Peradventure<06435> thou wouldest take by force<01497>(8799) thy daughters<01323> from me.
31:32 至於<0853>你的神像<0430>，你在誰那裡<05973><0834>搜<04672>(8799)出來，就不<03808>容誰存活<02421>(8799)。當著<05048>我們的眾弟兄<0251>，你<09001>認一認<05234>(8685)，在我這裡有<05973>甚麼東西<04100>是你的<09001>，就拿<03947>(8798)去。」原來雅各<03290>不<03808>知道<03045>(8804){<03588>}拉結<07354>偷了<01589>(8804)那些神像。
With whomsoever<0834> thou findest<04672>(8799) thy gods<0430>, let him not live<02421>(8799): before<05048> our brethren<0251> discern<05234>(8685) thou what is thine with me, and take<03947>(8798) it to thee. For Jacob<03290> knew<03045>(8804) not that Rachel<07354> had stolen<01589>(8804) them.

And she said<0559>(8799) to her father<01>, Let it not displease<02734>(8799)<05869> my lord<0113> that I cannot<03201>(8799) rise up<06965>(8800) before thee<06440>; for the custom<01870> of women<0802> is upon me. And he searched<02664>(8762), but found<04672>(8804) not the images<08655>.
31:36 雅各<09001><03290>就發怒<02734>(8799)斥責<07378>(8799)拉班<09002><03837>{<03290>}{<03290>}{<03837>}說<0559>(8799){<09001>}{<03837>}：「我有甚麼<04100>過犯<06588>，有甚麼<04100>罪惡<02403>，你竟這樣<03588>火速地追<01814>(8804)我<0310>？
And Jacob<03290> was wroth<02734>(8799), and chode<07378>(8799) with Laban<03837>: and Jacob<03290> answered<06030>(8799) and said<0559>(8799) to Laban<03837>, What is my trespass<06588>? what is my sin<02403>, that thou hast so hotly pursued<01814>(8804) after me<0310>?
31:37 {<03588>}你摸<04959>(8765){<0853>}遍了我一切的<03605>家具<03627>，你搜出<04672>(8804)甚麼<04100>{<04480>}{<03605>}{<03627>}<01004>來呢？可以放<07760>(8798)在{<03541>}你<0251>我弟兄<0251>面前<05048>，叫他們在你我<08147>中間<0996>辨別辨別<03198>(8686)。

31:38 我<0595>在你<05973>家這<02088>二十<06242>年<08141>，你的母綿羊<07353>、母山羊<05795>沒有<03808>掉過胎<07921>(8765)。你群<06629>中的公羊<0352>，我沒有<03808>吃過<0398>(8804)；
This twenty<06242> years<08141> have I been with thee; thy ewes<07353> and thy she goats<05795> have not cast their young<07921>(8765), and the rams<0352> of thy flock<06629> have I not eaten<0398>(8804).
31:39 被野獸撕裂的<02966>，我沒有<03808>帶<0935>(8689)來給你<0413>，是我自己<0595>賠上<02398>(8762)。無論是白日<03117>{<01589>}{(8803)}，是黑夜<03915>，被偷去的<01589>(8803)，你都向我<04480><03027>索要<01245>(8762)。
That which was torn<02966> of beasts I brought<0935>(8689) not unto thee; I bare the loss<02398>(8762) of it; of my hand<03027> didst thou require<01245>(8762) it, whether stolen<01589>(8803) by day<03117>, or stolen<01589>(8803) by night<03915>.
31:40 我白日<09002><03117>受盡<0398>(8804)乾熱<02721>，黑夜<09002><03915>受盡寒霜<07140>，不得<05074>(8799)合眼<04480><05869>睡<08142>著，我常是這樣<01961>(8804)。
Thus I was; in the day<03117> the drought<02721> consumed<0398>(8804) me, and the frost<07140> by night<03915>; and my sleep<08142> departed<05074>(8799) from mine eyes<05869>.
31:41 我<09001>這<02088>二十<06242>年<08141>在你家裡<09002><01004>，為你的兩<09002><08147>個女兒<01323>服事你<05647>(8804)十四<0702><06240>年<08141>，為你的羊群<09002><06629>服事你六<08337>年<08141>，你又十<06235>次<04489>改了<02498>(8686){<0853>}我的工價<04909>。
Thus have I been twenty<06242> years<08141> in thy house<01004>; I served thee<05647>(8804) fourteen<0702><06240> years<08141> for thy two<08147> daughters<01323>, and six<08337> years<08141> for thy cattle<06629>: and thou hast changed<02498>(8686) my wages<04909> ten<06235> times<04489>.

Except<03884> the God<0430> of my father<01>, the God<0430> of Abraham<085>, and the fear<06343> of Isaac<03327>, had been with me, surely thou hadst sent me away<07971>(8765) now empty<07387>. God<0430> hath seen<07200>(8804) mine affliction<06040> and the labour<03018> of my hands<03709>, and rebuked<03198>(8686) thee yesternight<0570>.
31:43 拉班<03837>回答<06030>(8799){<0413>}雅各<03290>說<0559>(8799)：「這女兒<01323>是我的女兒<01323>，這些孩子<01121>是我的孩子<01121>，這些羊群<06629>也是我的羊群<06629>；凡<03605><0834>在你<0859>眼前<07200>(8802)的都是<01931>我的<09001>。我的女兒<09001><01323>並<0176>她們所<0834>生<03205>(8804)的孩子<09001><01121>，我今日<03117>能向他們<09001><0428>做<06213>(8799)甚麼<04100>呢？
And Laban<03837> answered<06030>(8799) and said<0559>(8799) unto Jacob<03290>, These daughters<01323> are my daughters<01323>, and these children<01121> are my children<01121>, and these cattle<06629> are my cattle<06629>, and all that thou seest<07200>(8802) is mine: and what can I do<06213>(8799) this day<03117> unto these my daughters<01323>, or<0176> unto their children<01121> which they have born<03205>(8804)?

Now therefore come thou<03212>(8798), let us make<03772>(8799) a covenant<01285>, I and thou; and let it be for a witness<05707> between me and thee.
31:45 雅各<03290>就拿<03947>(8799)一塊石頭<068>立<07311>(8686)作柱子<04676>，
And Jacob<03290> took<03947>(8799) a stone<068>, and set it up<07311>(8686) for a pillar<04676>.

31:48 拉班<03837>說<0559>(8799)：「今日<03117>這<02088>石堆<01530>作你<0996>我中間<0996>的證據<05707>。」因此<05921><03651>這地方名<08034>叫<07121>(8804)迦累得<01567>，
And Laban<03837> said<0559>(8799), This heap<01530> is a witness<05707> between me and thee this day<03117>. Therefore was the name<08034> of it called<07121>(8804) Galeed<01567>;
31:49 又叫米斯巴<04709>，意思<0834>說<0559>(8804)：「{<03588>}我們彼此<0376><04480><07453>離別<05641>(8735)以後，願耶和華<03068>在你<0996>我中間<0996>鑒察<06822>(8799)。
And Mizpah<04709>; for<0834> he said<0559>(8804), The LORD<03068> watch<06822>(8799) between me and thee, when we are absent<05641>(8735) one<0376> from another<07453>. {Mizpah: that is, A beacon, or, watchtower}

If thou shalt afflict<06031>(8762) my daughters<01323>, or if thou shalt take<03947>(8799) other wives<0802> beside<05921> my daughters<01323>, no man<0376> is with us; see<07200>(8798), God<0430> is witness<05707> betwixt me and thee.
31:51 拉班<03837>又說<0559>(8799){<09001>}{<03290>}：「你看<02009>我在你<0996>我中間<0996>所<0834>立<03384>(8804)的這<02088>石堆<01530>和<02009>柱子<04676>。
And Laban<03837> said<0559>(8799) to Jacob<03290>, Behold this heap<01530>, and behold this pillar<04676>, which I have cast<03384>(8804) betwixt me and thee;

This heap<01530> be witness<05707>, and this pillar<04676> be witness<05713>, that I will not pass over<05674>(8799) this heap<01530> to thee, and that thou shalt not pass over<05674>(8799) this heap<01530> and this pillar<04676> unto me, for harm<07451>.
31:53 但願亞伯拉罕<085>的上帝<0430>和拿鶴<05152>的上帝<0430>，就是他們父親<01>的上帝<0430>，在你我中間<0996>判斷<08199>(8799)。」雅各<03290>就指著他父親<01>以撒<03327>所敬畏<09002><06343>的上帝起誓<07650>(8735)，
