23:1 以下<0428>是大衛<01732>末了的<0314>話<01697>。耶西<03448>的兒子<01121>大衛<01732>{<05002>}{(8803)}{<01397>}得居<06965>(8717)高位<05920>，是雅各<03290>神<0430>所膏<04899>的，作以色列<03478>的美<05273>歌<02158>者，說<05002>(8803)：
Now these be the last<0314> words<01697> of David<01732>. David<01732> the son<01121> of Jesse<03448> said<05002>(8803), and the man<01397> who was raised up<06965>(8717) on high<05920>, the anointed<04899> of the God<0430> of Jacob<03290>, and the sweet<05273> psalmist<02158> of Israel<03478>, said<05002>(8803),
23:2 耶和華<03068>的靈<07307>藉著我<09002>說<01696>(8765)：他的話<04405>在<05921>我口<03956>中。
The Spirit<07307> of the LORD<03068> spake<01696>(8765) by me, and his word<04405> was in my tongue<03956>.
23:3 以色列<03478>的神<0430>、以色列<03478>的磐石<06697>曉諭<01696>(8765)我<09001>說<0559>(8804)：那以公義<06662>治理<04910>(8802)人民<09002><0120>的，敬畏<03374>神<0430>執掌權柄<04910>(8802)，
The God<0430> of Israel<03478> said<0559>(8804), the Rock<06697> of Israel<03478> spake<01696>(8765) to me, He that ruleth<04910>(8802) over men<0120> must be just<06662>, ruling<04910>(8802) in the fear<03374> of God<0430>. {He...: or, Be thou ruler, etc}
23:4 他必像日<08121>出<02224>(8799)的晨<01242>光<09003><0216>，如無<03808>雲<05645>的清晨<01242>，雨後<04480><04306>的晴光<04480><05051>，使地<04480><0776>發生嫩草<01877>。
And he shall be as the light<0216> of the morning<01242>, when the sun<08121> riseth<02224>(8799), even a morning<01242> without<03808> clouds<05645>; as the tender grass<01877> springing out of the earth<0776> by clear shining<05051> after rain<04306>.
23:5 {<03588>}我家<01004>在<05973>神<0410>面前並非<03808>如此<03651>；神<0430>卻<03588>與我<09001>立<07760>(8804)永遠<05769>的約<01285>。這約凡事<09002><03605>堅<06186>(8803)穩<08104>(8803)，{<03588>}關乎我的一切<03605>救恩<03468>和我一切<03605>所想望<02656>的，他豈<03588>不<03808>為我成就<06779>(8686)嗎？
Although my house<01004> be not so with God<0410>; yet he hath made<07760>(8804) with me an everlasting<05769> covenant<01285>, ordered<06186>(8803) in all things , and sure<08104>(8803): for this is all my salvation<03468>, and all my desire<02656>, although he make it not to grow<06779>(8686).
23:6 但匪類<01100>都<03605>必像荊棘<09003><06975>被丟棄<05074>(8716)；{<03588>}人不敢<03808>用手<09002><03027>拿<03947>(8799)它；
But the sons of Belial<01100> shall be all of them as thorns<06975> thrust away<05074>(8716), because they cannot be taken<03947>(8799) with hands<03027>:
23:7 拿<05060>(8799)它<09002>的人<0376>必帶<04390>(8735)鐵器<01270>和槍<02595>桿<06086>，終久它必<08313>(8800)被火<09002><0784>焚燒<08313>(8735){<09002>}{<07675>}{(8800)}。
But the man<0376> that shall touch<05060>(8799) them must be fenced<04390>(8735) with iron<01270> and the staff<06086> of a spear<02595>; and they shall be utterly<08313>(8800) burned<08313>(8735) with fire<0784> in the same place<07675>(8800). {fenced: Heb. filled}

23:9 其次<0310>是亞合人<0266>朵多<01734>的兒子<01121>以利亞撒<0499>。從前非利士人聚集<0622>(8738){<08033>}要打仗<09001><04421>，以色列<03478>人<0376>迎著上去<05927>(8799)，有跟隨<05973>大衛<01732>的三<09002><07969>個勇士<01368>向非利士人<09002><06430>罵陣<09002><02778>(8763)，其中有以利亞撒。
And after<0310> him was Eleazar<0499> the son<01121> of Dodo<01734> the Ahohite<0266>, one of the three<07969> mighty men<01368> with David<01732>, when they defied<02778>(8763) the Philistines<06430> that were there gathered together<0622>(8738) to battle<04421>, and the men<0376> of Israel<03478> were gone away<05927>(8799):

He arose<06965>(8804), and smote<05221>(8686) the Philistines<06430> until<03588> his hand<03027> was weary<03021>(8804), and his hand<03027> clave<01692>(8799) unto the sword<02719>: and the LORD<03068> wrought<06213>(8799) a great<01419> victory<08668> that day<03117>; and the people<05971> returned<07725>(8799) after<0310> him only to spoil<06584>(8763).

But he stood<03320>(8691) in the midst<08432> of the ground<02513>, and defended<05337>(8686) it, and slew<05221>(8686) the Philistines<06430>: and the LORD<03068> wrought<06213>(8799) a great<01419> victory<08668>.

23:14 那時<0227>大衛<01732>在山寨<09002><04686>，非利士人<06430>的防營<04673>{<0227>}在伯利恆<01035>。
And David<01732> was then in an hold<04686>, and the garrison<04673> of the Philistines<06430> was then in Bethlehem<01035>.
23:15 大衛<01732>渴想<0183>(8691)，說<0559>(8799)：「甚願有人<04310>將伯利恆<01035>城門<09002><08179>旁、{<0834>}井<04480><0877>裡的水<04325>打來給我喝<08248>(8686)。」
And David<01732> longed<0183>(8691), and said<0559>(8799), Oh that one would give me drink<08248>(8686) of the water<04325> of the well<0953> of Bethlehem<01035>, which is by the gate<08179>!
23:16 這三<07969>個勇士<01368>就闖過<01234>(8799)非利士人<06430>的營盤<09002><04264>，從伯利恆<01035>城門<09002><08179>旁的<0834>井<04480><0877>裡打<07579>(8799)水<04325>，拿來<05375>(8799)奉<0935>(8686)給<0413>大衛<01732>。他卻不<03808>肯<014>(8804)喝<09001><08354>(8800)，將水<0853>奠<05258>(8686)在耶和華<09001><03068>面前，
And the three<07969> mighty men<01368> brake through<01234>(8799) the host<04264> of the Philistines<06430>, and drew<07579>(8799) water<04325> out of the well<0953> of Bethlehem<01035>, that was by the gate<08179>, and took<05375>(8799) it , and brought<0935>(8686) it to David<01732>: nevertheless he would<014>(8804) not drink<08354>(8800) thereof, but poured it out<05258>(8686) unto the LORD<03068>.
23:17 說<0559>(8799)：「耶和華<03068>啊，這三個人冒死<09002><05315>去<01980>(8802)打水；這水好像他們<0582>的血<01818>一般，我<09001>斷<02486>不敢喝<04480><06213>(8800)<02063>。」如此，大衛不<03808>肯<014>(8804)喝<09001><08354>(8800)。這是<0428>三<07969>個勇士<01368>所做<06213>(8804)的事。
And he said<0559>(8799), Be it far<02486> from me, O LORD<03068>, that I should do<06213>(8800) this: is not this the blood<01818> of the men<0582> that went<01980>(8802) in jeopardy of their lives<05315>? therefore he would<014>(8804) not drink<08354>(8800) it. These things did<06213>(8804) these three<07969> mighty men<01368>.
23:18 洗魯雅<06870>的兒子<01121>、約押<03097>的兄弟<0251>亞比篩<052>是<01931>這三<07992>個勇士的首領<07218>；他<01931>舉<05782>(8790){<0853>}槍<02595>殺<02491>了<05921>三<07969>百<03967>人，就在三<09002><07969>個勇士裡得了名<08034>{<09001>}。
And Abishai<052>, the brother<0251> of Joab<03097>, the son<01121> of Zeruiah<06870>, was chief<07218> among three<07992>. And he lifted up<05782>(8790) his spear<02595> against three<07969> hundred<03967>, and slew<02491> them , and had the name<08034> among three<07969>. {and slew them: Heb. slain}
23:19 他在<04480>這三<07969>個勇士裡是最<03588>尊貴的<03513>(8737)，所以作<01961>他們的<09001>首領<09001><08269>，只是不<03808>及<0935>(8804)<05704>前三<07969>個勇士。
Was he not most honourable<03513>(8737) of three<07969>? therefore he was their captain<08269>: howbeit he attained<0935>(8804) not unto the first three<07969>.
23:20 有甲薛<04480><06909>勇士<02428><0376>(8677)<0381>耶何耶大<03077>的兒子<01121>比拿雅<01141>行過大能<07227>的事<06467>；他<01931>殺<05221>(8689)了{<0853>}摩押人<04124>亞利伊勒<0740><0739>的兩個<08147>兒子，又<01931>在下雪<07950>的時候<09002><03117>下<03381>(8804)坑<0953>裡<09002><08432>去，殺<05221>(8689)了{<0853>}一個獅子<0738>，

23:21 又<01931>殺<02026>(8799)了{<0853>}一個強壯<04758>{<0376>}的埃及<04713>人<0376>；埃及人<04713>手<09002><03027>裡拿著槍<02595>，比拿雅只拿著棍子<09002><07626>下去<03381>(8799){<0413>}，從埃及人<04713>手<04480><03027>裡奪<01497>(8799)過{<0853>}槍<02595>來，用那槍<09002><02595>將他殺死<05221>(8689)。

23:23 他比<04480>那三十<07970>個勇士都尊貴<03513>(8737)，只是不<03808>及<0935>(8804)前<0413>三<07969>個勇士。大衛<01732>立他<07760>(8799)作<0413>護衛長<04928>。
