28:1 以撒<03327>叫<07121>(8799)了<0413>雅各<03290>來，給他<0853>祝福<01288>(8762)，並囑咐他<06680>(8762)說<0559>(8799){<09001>}：「你不要<03808>娶<03947>(8799)迦南<03667>的女子<04480><01323>為妻<0802>。
And Isaac<03327> called<07121>(8799) Jacob<03290>, and blessed<01288>(8762) him, and charged<06680>(8762) him, and said<0559>(8799) unto him, Thou shalt not take<03947>(8799) a wife<0802> of the daughters<01323> of Canaan<03667>.
28:2 你起身<06965>(8798)往巴旦‧亞蘭<06307>去<03212>(8798)，到你外<0517>祖<01>彼土利<01328>家<01004>裡，在你母<0517>舅<0251>拉班<03837>的女兒<04480><01323>中{<09001>}娶<03947>(8798)一女為妻<0802>{<04480>}{<08033>}。
Arise<06965>(8798), go<03212>(8798) to Padanaram<06307>, to the house<01004> of Bethuel<01328> thy mother's<0517> father<01>; and take<03947>(8798) thee a wife<0802> from thence of the daughters<01323> of Laban<03837> thy mother's<0517> brother<0251>.
28:3 願全能<07706>的　神<0410>賜福<01288>(8762)給你<0853>，使你生養<06509>(8686)眾多<07235>(8686)，成為<01961>多<09001><06951>族<05971>，
And God<0410> Almighty<07706> bless<01288>(8762) thee, and make thee fruitful<06509>(8686), and multiply<07235>(8686) thee, that thou mayest be a multitude<06951> of people<05971>; {a multitude...: Heb. an assembly of people}
28:4 將<0853>應許亞伯拉罕<085>的福<01293>賜<05414>(8799)給你<09001>和<0854>你的後裔<09001><02233>，使你承受<09001><03423>(8800){<0853>}你所寄居<04033>的地<0776>為業，就是<0834>　神<0430>賜<05414>(8804)給亞伯拉罕<09001><085>的地。」
And give<05414>(8799) thee the blessing<01293> of Abraham<085>, to thee, and to thy seed<02233> with thee; that thou mayest inherit<03423>(8800) the land<0776> wherein thou art a stranger<04033>, which God<0430> gave<05414>(8804) unto Abraham<085>. {wherein...: Heb. of thy sojournings}
28:5 以撒<03327>打發<07971>(8799){<0853>}雅各<03290>走了，他就往巴旦‧亞蘭<06307>去<03212>(8799)，到<0413>亞蘭人<0761>彼土利<01328>的兒子<01121>拉班<03837>那裡。拉班是雅各<03290>、以掃<06215>的母<0517>{<07259>}舅<0251>。
And Isaac<03327> sent away<07971>(8799) Jacob<03290>: and he went<03212>(8799) to Padanaram<06307> unto Laban<03837>, son<01121> of Bethuel<01328> the Syrian<0761>, the brother<0251> of Rebekah<07259>, Jacob's<03290> and Esau's<06215> mother<0517>.
28:6 以掃<06215>見<07200>(8799){<03588>}以撒<03327>已經給<0853>雅各<03290>祝福<01288>(8765)，而且打發<07971>(8765)他<0853>往巴旦‧亞蘭<06307>去，在那裡<04480><08033>娶<09001><03947>(8800)妻<0802>{<09001>}，並見祝福<09002><01288>(8763){<0853>}的時候囑咐<06680>(8762)他<05921>說<09001><0559>(8800)：「不要<03808>娶<03947>(8799)迦南<03667>的女子<04480><01323>為妻<0802>」，
When Esau<06215> saw<07200>(8799) that Isaac<03327> had blessed<01288>(8765) Jacob<03290>, and sent him away<07971>(8765) to Padanaram<06307>, to take<03947>(8800) him a wife<0802> from thence; and that as he blessed<01288>(8763) him he gave him a charge<06680>(8762), saying<0559>(8800), Thou shalt not take<03947>(8799) a wife<0802> of the daughters<01323> of Canaan<03667>;
28:7 又見雅各<03290>聽從<08085>(8799){<0413>}父<01>{<0413>}母<0517>的話往巴旦‧亞蘭<06307>去<03212>(8799)了，
And that Jacob<03290> obeyed<08085>(8799) his father<01> and his mother<0517>, and was gone<03212>(8799) to Padanaram<06307>;
28:8 以掃<06215>就曉得<07200>(8799){<03588>}他父親<01>以撒<03327>看不中<09002><05869><07451>迦南<03667>的女子<01323>，
And Esau<06215> seeing<07200>(8799) that the daughters<01323> of Canaan<03667> pleased<05869> not<07451> Isaac<03327> his father<01>; {pleased...: Heb. were evil in the eyes, etc}
28:9 {<06215>}便往<0413>以實瑪利<03458>那裡去<03212>(8799)，在他<09001>二妻<0802>之外<05921>又娶了<03947>(8799){<0853>}瑪哈拉<04258>為妻<09001><0802>。她是亞伯拉罕<085>兒子<01121>以實瑪利<03458>的女兒<01323>，尼拜約<05032>的妹子<0269>。
Then went<03212>(8799) Esau<06215> unto Ishmael<03458>, and took<03947>(8799) unto the wives<0802> which he had Mahalath<04258> the daughter<01323> of Ishmael<03458> Abraham's<085> son<01121>, the sister<0269> of Nebajoth<05032>, to be his wife<0802>. {Mahalath: or, Bashemath}
28:10 雅各<03290>出了<03318>(8799)別是巴<04480><0884>，向哈蘭<02771>走去<03212>(8799)；
And Jacob<03290> went out<03318>(8799) from Beersheba<0884>, and went<03212>(8799) toward Haran<02771>. {Haran: Gr. Charran}
28:11 到了<06293>(8799)一個地方<09002><04725>，因為<03588>太陽<08121>落了<0935>(8804)，就在那裡<08033>住宿<03885>(8799)，便拾起<03947>(8799)那地方<04725>的一塊石頭<04480><068>枕<07760>(8799)在頭下<04763>，在那裡<01931><09002><04725>躺臥睡了<07901>(8799)，
And he lighted<06293>(8799) upon a certain place<04725>, and tarried there all night<03885>(8799), because the sun<08121> was set<0935>(8804); and he took<03947>(8799) of the stones<068> of that place<04725>, and put<07760>(8799) them for his pillows<04763>, and lay down<07901><00> in that place<04725> to sleep<07901>(8799).
28:12 夢見<02492>(8799){<02009>}一個梯子<05551>立<05324>(8716)在地<0776>上，梯子的頭<07218>頂著<05060>(8688)天<08064>，{<02009>}有　神<0430>的使者<04397>在梯子上<09002>，上去<05927>(8802)下來<03381>(8802)。
And he dreamed<02492>(8799), and behold a ladder<05551> set up<05324>(8716) on the earth<0776>, and the top of it<07218> reached<05060>(8688) to heaven<08064>: and behold the angels<04397> of God<0430> ascending<05927>(8802) and descending<03381>(8802) on it.
28:13 {<02009>}耶和華<03068>站<05324>(8737)在梯子以上（或譯：站在他旁邊<05921>），說<0559>(8799)：「我<0589>是耶和華<03068>─你祖<01>亞伯拉罕<085>的　神<0430>，也是以撒<03327>的　神<0430>；我要將你<0859>現在所<0834>躺臥<07901>(8802){<05921>}之地<0776>賜<05414>(8799)給你<09001>和你的後裔<09001><02233>。
And, behold, the LORD<03068> stood<05324>(8737) above it, and said<0559>(8799), I am the LORD<03068> God<0430> of Abraham<085> thy father<01>, and the God<0430> of Isaac<03327>: the land<0776> whereon thou liest<07901>(8802), to thee will I give it<05414>(8799), and to thy seed<02233>;
28:14 你的後裔<02233>必<01961>(8804)像地<0776>上的塵沙<09003><06083>那樣多，必向東<06924>西<03220>南<05045>北<06828>開展<06555>(8804)；地上<0127>萬<03605>族<04940>必因你<09002>和你的後裔<09002><02233>得福<01288>(8738)。
And thy seed<02233> shall be as the dust<06083> of the earth<0776>, and thou shalt spread abroad<06555>(8804) to the west<03220>, and to the east<06924>, and to the north<06828>, and to the south<05045>: and in thee and in thy seed<02233> shall all the families<04940> of the earth<0127> be blessed<01288>(8738). {spread...: Heb. break forth}
28:15 {<02009>}我<0595>也與你同在<0854>。你無論<09002><03605>往哪裡<0834>去<03212>(8799)，我必保佑你<08104>(8804)，領你歸<07725>(8689)回<0413>這<02063>地<0127>，{<03588>}總不<03808>離棄你<05800>(8799)，直到<05704><0834><0518>我成全了<06213>(8804){<0853>}向你<09001>所<0834>應許<01696>(8765)的。」
And, behold, I am with thee, and will keep<08104>(8804) thee in all places whither<0834> thou goest<03212>(8799), and will bring thee again<07725>(8689) into this land<0127>; for I will not leave<05800>(8799) thee, until<0834> I have done<06213>(8804) that which I have spoken<01696>(8765) to thee of.
28:16 雅各<03290>睡醒了<03364>(8799)<04480><08142>，說<0559>(8799)：「耶和華<03068>真<0403>在<03426>這<02088>裡<09002><04725>，我<0595>竟不<03808>知道<03045>(8804)！」
And Jacob<03290> awaked<03364>(8799) out of his sleep<08142>, and he said<0559>(8799), Surely<0403> the LORD<03068> is<03426> in this place<04725>; and I knew<03045>(8804) it not.
28:17 就懼怕<03372>(8799)，說<0559>(8799)：「這<02088>地方<04725>何等<04100>可畏<03372>(8737)！這<02088>不是<0369>別的，乃是<03588><0518>　神<0430>的殿<01004>，也是<02088>天<08064>的門<08179>。」
And he was afraid<03372>(8799), and said<0559>(8799), How dreadful<03372>(8737) is this place<04725>! this is none other but the house<01004> of God<0430>, and this is the gate<08179> of heaven<08064>.
28:18 雅各<03290>清早<09002><01242>起來<07925>(8686)，把<03947>(8799)所<0834>枕<07760>(8804)<04763>的{<0853>}石頭<068>立作<07760>(8799){<0853>}柱子<04676>，澆<03332>(8799)油<08081>在<05921>上面<07218>。
And Jacob<03290> rose up early<07925>(8686) in the morning<01242>, and took<03947>(8799) the stone<068> that he had put<07760>(8804) for his pillows<04763>, and set it up<07760>(8799) for a pillar<04676>, and poured<03332>(8799) oil<08081> upon the top of it<07218>.
28:19 他就給<0853>那<01931>地方<04725>起名<08034>叫<07121>(8799)伯特利<01008>（就是　神殿的意思）；但<0199>那地方<05892>起先<09001><07223>名<08034>叫路斯<03870>。
And he called<07121>(8799) the name<08034> of that place<04725> Bethel<01008>: but<0199> the name<08034> of that city<05892> was called Luz<03870> at the first<07223>. {Bethel: that is, The house of God}
28:20 雅各<03290>許<05087>(8799)願<05088>說<09001><0559>(8800)：「　神<0430>若<0518>與我<05973>同在<01961>(8799)，在我<0595>所<0834>行<01980>(8802)的<02088>路上<09002><01870>保佑我<08104>(8804)，又給<05414>(8804)我<09001>食物<03899>吃<09001><0398>(8800)，衣服<0899>穿<09001><03847>(8800)，
And Jacob<03290> vowed<05087>(8799) a vow<05088>, saying<0559>(8800), If God<0430> will be with me, and will keep me<08104>(8804) in this way<01870> that I go<01980>(8802), and will give<05414>(8804) me bread<03899> to eat<0398>(8800), and raiment<0899> to put on<03847>(8800),
28:21 使我平平安安地<09002><07965>回<07725>(8804)到<0413>我父親<01>的家<01004>，我就必以耶和華<03068>為<01961>(8804)我的<09001>　神<09001><0430>。
So that I come again<07725>(8804) to my father's<01> house<01004> in peace<07965>; then shall the LORD<03068> be my God<0430>:
28:22 我所<0834>立<07760>(8804)為柱子<04676>的<02063>石頭<068>也必作<01961>(8799)　神<0430>的殿<01004>；凡<03605>你所<0834>賜<05414>(8799)給我<09001>的，我必<06237>(8763)將十分之一<06237>(8762)獻給你<09001>。」
And this stone<068>, which I have set<07760>(8804) for a pillar<04676>, shall be God's<0430> house<01004>: and of all that thou shalt give<05414>(8799) me I will surely<06237>(8763) give the tenth<06237>(8762) unto thee.
