21:1 大衛<01732>到了<0935>(8799)挪伯<05011>祭司<03548>{<0413>}亞希米勒<0288>那裡，亞希米勒<0288>戰戰兢兢地<02729>(8799)出來迎接<09001><07125>(8800)他{<01732>}，問他<09001>說<0559>(8799)：「你<0859>為甚麼<04069>獨自<09001><0905>來，沒有<0369>人<0376>跟隨<0854>呢？」
Then came<0935>(8799) David<01732> to Nob<05011> to Ahimelech<0288> the priest<03548>: and Ahimelech<0288> was afraid<02729>(8799) at the meeting<07125>(8800) of David<01732>, and said<0559>(8799) unto him, Why art thou alone, and no man<0376> with thee? {Ahimelech: also called Ahiah}
21:2 大衛<01732>回答祭司<03548>亞希米勒<09001><0288>說<0559>(8799)：「王<0428>吩咐我<06680>(8765)一件事<01697>說<0559>(8799){<0413>}：『{<0853>}我<0595>差遣你<07971>(8802)委託你<06680>(8765)的<0834>這<0853>件事<01697>，不要<0408>使人<0376>知道<03045>(8799){<03972>}。』故此我已派定<03045>(8776){<0853>}少年人<05288>在<0413>某處<04725><06423><0492>等候我。
And David<01732> said<0559>(8799) unto Ahimelech<0288> the priest<03548>, The king<0428> hath commanded<06680>(8765) me a business<01697>, and hath said<0559>(8799) unto me, Let no man<0376> know<03045>(8799) any thing<03972> of the business<01697> whereabout I send<07971>(8802) thee, and what I have commanded<06680>(8765) thee: and I have appointed<03045>(8776) my servants<05288> to such<06423> and such<0492> a place<04725>.
21:3 現在<06258>你手<03027>下<08478>有<03426>甚麼<04100>？求你給<05414>(8798)我<09002><03027>五個<02568>餅<03899>或是<0176>別樣的<04672>(8737)食物。」
Now therefore what is<03426> under thine hand<03027>? give<05414>(8798) me five<02568> loaves of bread<03899> in mine hand<03027>, or what there is present<04672>(8737). {present: Heb. found}
21:4 祭司<03548>對{<06030>}{(8799)}{<0853>}大衛<01732>說<0559>(8799)：「{<0413>}我手<03027>下<08478>沒有<0369>尋常的<02455>餅<03899>，只<03588><0518>有<03426>聖<06944>餅<03899>；若<0518>少年人<05288>沒有<0389>親近<08104>(8738)婦人<04480><0802>才可以給。」
And the priest<03548> answered<06030>(8799) David<01732>, and said<0559>(8799), There is no common<02455> bread<03899> under mine hand<03027>, but there is<03426> hallowed<06944> bread<03899>; if the young men<05288> have kept<08104>(8738) themselves at least<0389> from women<0802>.
21:5 大衛<01732>對{<06030>}{(8799)}{<0853>}祭司<03548>說<0559>(8799){<09001>}：「實在<03588><0518>約有三<08032>日<09003><08543>我們<09001>沒有親近<06113>(8803)婦人<0802>；我出來<09002><03318>(8800)的時候，雖是<01931>尋常<02455>行路<01870>，少年人<05288>的器皿<03627>還是潔淨<06944>的；何況<03588>今日<03117>{<09002>}{<03627>}不更是<0637>潔淨<06942>(8799)嗎？」
And David<01732> answered<06030>(8799) the priest<03548>, and said<0559>(8799) unto him, Of a truth<0518> women<0802> have been kept<06113>(8803) from us about these three<08032> days<08543>, since I came out<03318>(8800), and the vessels<03627> of the young men<05288> are holy<06944>, and the bread is in a manner<01870> common<02455>, yea, though it were sanctified<06942>(8799) this day<03117> in the vessel<03627>. {yea...: or, especially when this day there is other sanctified in the vessel}
21:6 祭司<03548>就拿<05414>(8799)聖<06944>餅給他<09001>；因為<03588>在那裡<08033>沒<03808>有<01961>別樣餅<03899>，只有<03588><0518>更<03947>(8736)換<09001><07760>(8800)新<02527>餅<03899>{<09002>}{<03117>}，從<04480><09001><06440>耶和華<03068>面前撤下來<05493>(8716)的陳設<06440>餅<03899>。
So the priest<03548> gave<05414>(8799) him hallowed<06944> bread : for there was no bread<03899> there but the shewbread<03899><06440>, that was taken<05493>(8716) from before<06440> the LORD<03068>, to put<07760>(8800) hot<02527> bread<03899> in the day<03117> when it was taken away<03947>(8736).
21:7 （當<01931>日<09002><03117>有{<08033>}{<0376>}掃羅的<09001><07586>一個臣子<04480><05650>留在<06113>(8737)耶和華<03068>面前<09001><06440>。他名<08034>叫多益<01673>，是以東人<0130>，作掃羅<07586>的<0834>司牧<07462>(8802)長<047>。）
Now a certain man<0376> of the servants<05650> of Saul<07586> was there that day<03117>, detained<06113>(8737) before<06440> the LORD<03068>; and his name<08034> was Doeg<01673>, an Edomite<0130>, the chiefest<047> of the herdmen<07462>(8802) that belonged to Saul<07586>.
21:8 大衛<01732>問亞希米勒<09001><0288>說<0559>(8799)：「你手<03027>下<08478>有<03426>{<06311>}槍<02595>有<0176>刀<02719>沒有<0371>？因為<03588>{<01961>}{(8804)}王<04428>的事<01697>甚急<05169>(8803)，{<03588>}連<01571>刀劍<02719>{<01571>}器械<03627>我<09002><03027>都沒有<03808>帶<03947>(8804)。」
And David<01732> said<0559>(8799) unto Ahimelech<0288>, And is there<03426> not<0371> here under thine hand<03027> spear<02595> or sword<02719>? for I have neither brought<03947>(8804) my sword<02719> nor my weapons<03627> with me<03027>, because the king's<04428> business<01697> required<01961>(8804) haste<05169>(8803).
21:9 祭司<03548>說<0559>(8799)：「你在以拉<0425>谷<09002><06010>殺<05221>(8689)非利士人<06430>歌利亞<01555>的那<0834>刀<02719>在這裡<02009><01931>，裹<03874>(8803)在布中<09002><08071>，放在以弗得<0646>後邊<0310>，{<0518>}{<0853>}你要<03947>(8799)就可以拿去<03947>(8798){<09001>}；{<03588>}除此以外<02108>，{<09002>}{<02088>}再沒有<0369>別的<0312>。」大衛<01732>說<0559>(8799)：「這刀沒有<0369>可比的<09003>！求你給<05414>(8798)我<03644>。」
And the priest<03548> said<0559>(8799), The sword<02719> of Goliath<01555> the Philistine<06430>, whom thou slewest<05221>(8689) in the valley<06010> of Elah<0425>, behold, it is here wrapped<03874>(8803) in a cloth<08071> behind<0310> the ephod<0646>: if thou wilt take<03947>(8799) that, take<03947>(8798) it : for there is no other<0312> save<02108> that here<02088>. And David<01732> said<0559>(8799), There is none like that; give<05414>(8798) it me.
21:10 那<01931>日<09002><03117>大衛<01732>起來<06965>(8799)，躲避<01272>(8799){<04480>}{<06440>}掃羅<07586>，逃<0935>(8799)到<0413>迦特<01661>王<04428>亞吉<0397>那裡。
And David<01732> arose<06965>(8799), and fled<01272>(8799) that day<03117> for fear<06440> of Saul<07586>, and went<0935>(8799) to Achish<0397> the king<04428> of Gath<01661>.
21:11 亞吉<0397>的臣僕<05650>對亞吉<0413>說<0559>(8799)：「這<02088>不是<03808>以色列{<0776>}國王<04428>大衛<01732>嗎？那裡的婦女跳舞<09002><04246>唱和<06030>(8799)，不是<03808>指著他<09001><02088>說<09001><0559>(8800)『掃羅<07586>殺死<05221>(8689)千千<09002><0505>，大衛<01732>殺死萬萬<09002><07233>』嗎？」
And the servants<05650> of Achish<0397> said<0559>(8799) unto him, Is not this David<01732> the king<04428> of the land<0776>? did they not sing<06030>(8799) one to another of him<02088> in dances<04246>, saying<0559>(8800), Saul<07586> hath slain<05221>(8689) his thousands<0505>, and David<01732> his ten thousands<07233>?
21:12 大衛<01732>將<0853>這<0428>話<01697>放<07760>(8799)在心裡<09002><03824>，甚<03966>懼怕<03372>(8799){<04480>}{<06440>}迦特<01661>王<04428>亞吉<0397>，
And David<01732> laid up<07760>(8799) these words<01697> in his heart<03824>, and was sore<03966> afraid<03372>(8799) of<06440> Achish<0397> the king<04428> of Gath<01661>.
21:13 就在眾人面前<09002><05869>改變了<08138>(8762){<0853>}尋常的舉動<02940>，在他們手下<09002><03027>假裝瘋癲<01984>(8704)，在<05921>城門<08179>的門扇<01817>上胡寫亂畫<08427>(8762)，使唾沫<07388>流<03381>(8686)在<0413>鬍子<02206>上。
And he changed<08138>(8762) his behaviour<02940> before<05869> them, and feigned himself mad<01984>(8704) in their hands<03027>, and scrabbled<08427>(8762) on the doors<01817> of the gate<08179>, and let his spittle<07388> fall down<03381>(8686) upon his beard<02206>. {scrabbled: or, made marks}
21:14 亞吉<0397>對<0413>臣僕<05650>說<0559>(8799)：「{<02009>}你們看<07200>(8799)，這人<0376>是瘋子<07696>(8693)。為甚麼<09001><04100>帶<0935>(8686)他<0853>到我這裡<0413>來呢？
Then said<0559>(8799) Achish<0397> unto his servants<05650>, Lo, ye see<07200>(8799) the man<0376> is mad<07696>(8693): wherefore then have ye brought<0935>(8686) him to me? {is mad: or, playeth the mad man}
21:15 我<0589>豈缺少<02638>瘋子<07696>(8794)，{<03588>}你們帶<0935>(8689){<0853>}這人<02088>來在我面前<05921>瘋癲<09001><07696>(8692)嗎？這人<02088>豈可進<0935>(8799){<0413>}我的家<01004>呢？」
Have I need<02638> of mad men<07696>(8794), that ye have brought<0935>(8689) this fellow to play the mad man<07696>(8692) in my presence? shall this fellow come<0935>(8799) into my house<01004>?
