15:1 撒母耳<08050>對<0413>掃羅<07586>說<0559>(8799)：「耶和華<03068>差遣<07971>(8804)我<0853>膏你<09001><04886>(8800)為王<09001><04428>，治理<05921>他的百姓<05971>{<05921>}以色列<03478>；所以<06258>你當聽從<08085>(8798){<09001>}{<06963>}耶和華<03068>的話<01697>。
Samuel<08050> also said<0559>(8799) unto Saul<07586>, The LORD<03068> sent<07971>(8804) me to anoint<04886>(8800) thee to be king<04428> over his people<05971>, over Israel<03478>: now therefore hearken<08085>(8798) thou unto the voice<06963> of the words<01697> of the LORD<03068>.
15:2 萬軍<06635>之耶和華<03068>如此<03541>說<0559>(8804)：『以色列人<09001><03478>出<09002><05927>(8800)埃及<04480><04714>的時候，在路上<09002><01870>亞瑪力人<06002>怎樣<0834>待<06213>(8804)他們，怎樣<0834>抵擋<07760>(8804)他們<09001>，我都沒忘<06485>(8804){<0853>}。
Thus saith<0559>(8804) the LORD<03068> of hosts<06635>, I remember<06485>(8804) that which Amalek<06002> did<06213>(8804) to Israel<03478>, how he laid<07760>(8804) wait for him in the way<01870>, when he came up<05927>(8800) from Egypt<04714>.
15:3 現在<06258>你要去<03212>(8798)擊打<05221>(8689){<0853>}亞瑪力人<06002>，滅盡<02763>(8689)他們<09001>{<0853>}所有<03605>的<0834>，不可<03808>憐惜<02550>(8799)他們<05921>，將男<04480><0376>{<05704>}女<0802>、孩童<04480><05768>、{<05704>}吃奶的<03243>(8802)，並牛<04480><07794>、{<05704>}羊<07716>、駱駝<04480><01581>，和<05704>驢<02543>盡行殺死<04191>(8689)。』」
Now go<03212>(8798) and smite<05221>(8689) Amalek<06002>, and utterly destroy<02763>(8689) all that they have, and spare<02550>(8799) them not; but slay<04191>(8689) both man<0376> and woman<0802>, infant<05768> and suckling<03243>(8802), ox<07794> and sheep<07716>, camel<01581> and ass<02543>.
15:4 於是掃羅<07586>招聚<08085>(8762){<0853>}百姓<05971>在提拉因<09002><02923>，數點他們<06485>(8799)，共有步兵<07273>二十萬<03967><0505>，另有<0853>猶大<03063>人<0376>一萬<06235><0505>。
And Saul<07586> gathered<08085><00> the people<05971> together<08085>(8762), and numbered<06485>(8799) them in Telaim<02923>, two hundred<03967> thousand<0505> footmen<07273>, and ten<06235> thousand<0505> men<0376> of Judah<03063>.
15:5 掃羅<07586>到了<0935>(8799){<05704>}亞瑪力<06002>的京城<05892>，在谷中<09002><05158>設下埋伏<07378>(8799)(8676)<0693>(8686)。
And Saul<07586> came<0935>(8799) to a city<05892> of Amalek<06002>, and laid wait<07378>(8799)<0693>(8686) in the valley<05158>. {laid...: or, fought}
15:6 掃羅<07586>對<0413>基尼人<07017>說<0559>(8799)：「{<03212>}{(8798)}你們離開<05493>(8798){<04480>}{<08432>}亞瑪力人<06002>下去吧<03381>(8798)，恐怕<06435>我將你們和亞瑪力人一同<05973>殺滅<0622>(8799)；因為{<03605>}以色列<03478>人<01121>出<09002><05927>(8800)埃及<04480><04714>的時候，你們<0859>曾恩<02617>待<06213>(8804)他們<05973>。」於是基尼人<07017>離開<05493>(8799){<04480>}{<08432>}亞瑪力人<06003>去了。
And Saul<07586> said<0559>(8799) unto the Kenites<07017>, Go<03212>(8798), depart<05493>(8798), get you down<03381>(8798) from among<08432> the Amalekites<06002>, lest I destroy<0622>(8799) you with them: for ye shewed<06213>(8804) kindness<02617> to all the children<01121> of Israel<03478>, when they came up<05927>(8800) out of Egypt<04714>. So the Kenites<07017> departed<05493>(8799) from among<08432> the Amalekites<06003>.
15:7 掃羅<07586>擊打<05221>(8686){<0853>}亞瑪力人<06002>，從哈腓拉<04480><02341>直到<0935>(8800){<05921>}埃及<04714>前<06440>的<0834>書珥<07793>，
And Saul<07586> smote<05221>(8686) the Amalekites<06002> from Havilah<02341> until thou comest<0935>(8800) to Shur<07793>, that is over against<06440> Egypt<04714>.
15:8 生<02416>擒了<08610>(8799){<0853>}亞瑪力<06002>王<04428>亞甲<090>，用<09001><06310>刀<02719>殺盡<02763>(8689){<0853>}亞瑪力的眾<03605>民<05971>。
And he took<08610>(8799) Agag<090> the king<04428> of the Amalekites<06002> alive<02416>, and utterly destroyed<02763>(8689) all the people<05971> with the edge<06310> of the sword<02719>.
15:9 掃羅<07586>和百姓<05971>卻憐惜<02550>(8799){<05921>}亞甲<090>，也<05921>愛惜上好的<04315>牛<01241>、羊<06629>、牛犢<04932>、羊羔<03733>，並<05921>一切<03605>美物<02896>，不<03808>肯<014>(8804)滅絕<02763>(8687)。凡<03605>下賤<05240>瘦弱<04399><04549>(8738)的，盡都殺了<02763>(8689){<0853>}。
But Saul<07586> and the people<05971> spared<02550>(8799) Agag<090>, and the best<04315> of the sheep<06629>, and of the oxen<01241>, and of the fatlings<04932>, and the lambs<03733>, and all that was good<02896>, and would<014>(8804) not utterly destroy<02763>(8687) them: but every thing<04399> that was vile<05240> and refuse<04549>(8738), that they destroyed utterly<02763>(8689). {fatlings: or, second sort}
15:10 耶和華<03068>的話<01697>臨<01961>到<0413>撒母耳<08050>說<09001><0559>(8800)：
Then came the word<01697> of the LORD<03068> unto Samuel<08050>, saying<0559>(8800),
15:11 「{<03588>}我立<04427>(8689){<0853>}掃羅<07586>為王<09001><04428>，我後悔了<05162>(8738)；因為<03588>他轉去<07725>(8804)不跟從我<04480><0310>，不<03808>遵守<06965>(8689){<0853>}我的命令<01697>。」撒母耳<09001><08050>便甚憂愁<02734>(8799)，終<03605>夜<03915>哀求<02199>(8799){<0413>}耶和華<03068>。
It repenteth<05162>(8738) me that I have set up<04427>(8689) Saul<07586> to be king<04428>: for he is turned back<07725>(8804) from following<0310> me, and hath not performed<06965>(8689) my commandments<01697>. And it grieved<02734>(8799) Samuel<08050>; and he cried<02199>(8799) unto the LORD<03068> all night<03915>.
15:12 撒母耳<08050>清早<09002><01242>起來<07925>(8686)，迎接<09001><07125>(8800)掃羅<07586>。有人告訴<05046>(8714)撒母耳<09001><08050>說<09001><0559>(8800)：「掃羅<07586>到了<0935>(8804)迦密<03760>，在那裡<02009>立了<05324>(8688)紀念碑<03027>{<09001>}，又轉<05437>(8735)身{<05674>}{(8799)}下<03381>(8799)到吉甲<01537>。」
And when Samuel<08050> rose early<07925>(8686) to meet<07125>(8800) Saul<07586> in the morning<01242>, it was told<05046>(8714) Samuel<08050>, saying<0559>(8800), Saul<07586> came<0935>(8804) to Carmel<03760>, and, behold, he set him up<05324>(8688) a place<03027>, and is gone about<05437>(8735), and passed on<05674>(8799), and gone down<03381>(8799) to Gilgal<01537>.
15:13 撒母耳<08050>到了<0935>(8799){<0413>}掃羅<07586>那裡，掃羅<07586>對他<09001>說<0559>(8799)：「願耶和華<09001><03068>賜福<01288>(8803)與你<0859>，{<0853>}耶和華<03068>的命令<01697>我已遵守了<06965>(8689)。」
And Samuel<08050> came<0935>(8799) to Saul<07586>: and Saul<07586> said<0559>(8799) unto him, Blessed<01288>(8803) be thou of the LORD<03068>: I have performed<06965>(8689) the commandment<01697> of the LORD<03068>.
15:14 撒母耳<08050>說<0559>(8799)：「我<0595>耳中<09002><0241>聽見<08085>(8802){<0834>}有<02088>羊<06629>叫<06963>、牛<01241>鳴<06963>，是從哪裡<04100>來的呢？」
And Samuel<08050> said<0559>(8799), What meaneth then this bleating<06963> of the sheep<06629> in mine ears<0241>, and the lowing<06963> of the oxen<01241> which I hear<08085>(8802)?
15:15 掃羅<07586>說<0559>(8799)：「這是百姓<05971>從亞瑪力人<04480><06003>那裡帶來<0935>(8689)的；因為<0834>他們愛惜<02550>(8804){<05921>}上好的<04315>牛<01241>羊<06629>，要<09001><04616>獻<02076>(8800)與耶和華<09001><03068>─你的神<0430>；{<0853>}其餘的<03498>(8802)，我們都滅盡了<02763>(8689)。」
And Saul<07586> said<0559>(8799), They have brought<0935>(8689) them from the Amalekites<06003>: for the people<05971> spared<02550>(8804) the best<04315> of the sheep<06629> and of the oxen<01241>, to sacrifice<02076>(8800) unto the LORD<03068> thy God<0430>; and the rest<03498>(8802) we have utterly destroyed<02763>(8689).
15:16 撒母耳<08050>對<0413>掃羅<07586>說<0559>(8799)：「你住口吧<07503>(8685)！等我將<0853>耶和華<03068>昨夜<03915>向我<0413>所<0834>說<01696>(8765)的話告訴<05046>(8686)你<09001>。」掃羅說<0559>(8799){<09001>}：「請講<01696>(8761)。」
Then Samuel<08050> said<0559>(8799) unto Saul<07586>, Stay<07503>(8685), and I will tell<05046>(8686) thee what the LORD<03068> hath said<01696>(8765) to me this night<03915>. And he said<0559>(8799) unto him, Say on<01696>(8761).
15:17 撒母耳<08050>對掃羅說<0559>(8799)：「從前你<0859>雖然<0518>以自己為<09002><05869>小<06996>，{<0859>}豈不是<03808>被立為以色列<03478>支派<07626>的元首<07218>嗎？耶和華<03068>膏你<04886>(8799)作<05921>以色列<03478>的王<09001><04428>。
And Samuel<08050> said<0559>(8799), When thou wast little<06996> in thine own sight<05869>, wast thou not made the head<07218> of the tribes<07626> of Israel<03478>, and the LORD<03068> anointed<04886>(8799) thee king<04428> over Israel<03478>?
15:18 耶和華<03068>差遣<07971>(8799)你{<09002>}{<01870>}，吩咐你說<0559>(8799)，你去<03212>(8798)擊打<03898>(8738)那些<0853>犯罪的<02400>{<0853>}亞瑪力人<06002>，將他們<09002>滅絕<02763>(8689){<05704>}淨盡<03615>(8763){<0853>}。
And the LORD<03068> sent<07971>(8799) thee on a journey<01870>, and said<0559>(8799), Go<03212>(8798) and utterly destroy<02763>(8689) the sinners<02400> the Amalekites<06002>, and fight<03898>(8738) against them until they be consumed<03615>(8763). {they...: Heb. they consume them}
15:19 你為何<09001><04100>沒有<03808>聽從<08085>(8804)耶和華<03068>的命令<09002><06963>，急忙<05860>(8799)擄掠<0413>財物<07998>，行<06213>(8799)耶和華<03068>眼中<09002><05869>看為惡<07451>的事呢？」
Wherefore then didst thou not obey<08085>(8804) the voice<06963> of the LORD<03068>, but didst fly<05860>(8799) upon the spoil<07998>, and didst<06213>(8799) evil<07451> in the sight<05869> of the LORD<03068>?
15:20 掃羅<07586>對<0413>撒母耳<08050>說<0559>(8799)：「我實在<0834>聽從了<08085>(8804)耶和華<03068>的命令<09002><06963>，行了<03212>(8799)耶和華<03068>所<0834>差遣我<07971>(8804)行的路<09002><01870>，擒了<0935>(8686){<0853>}亞瑪力<06002>王<04428>亞甲<090>來，滅盡了<02763>(8689){<0853>}亞瑪力人<06002>。
And Saul<07586> said<0559>(8799) unto Samuel<08050>, Yea, I have obeyed<08085>(8804) the voice<06963> of the LORD<03068>, and have gone<03212>(8799) the way<01870> which the LORD<03068> sent<07971>(8804) me, and have brought<0935>(8686) Agag<090> the king<04428> of Amalek<06002>, and have utterly destroyed<02763>(8689) the Amalekites<06002>.
15:21 百姓<05971>卻在<04480><07998>所當滅的物<02764>中，取了<03947>(8799)最好的<07225>牛<01241>羊<06629>，要在吉甲<09002><01537>獻<09001><02076>(8800)與耶和華<09001><03068>─你的神<0430>。」
But the people<05971> took<03947>(8799) of the spoil<07998>, sheep<06629> and oxen<01241>, the chief<07225> of the things which should have been utterly destroyed<02764>, to sacrifice<02076>(8800) unto the LORD<03068> thy God<0430> in Gilgal<01537>.
15:22 撒母耳<08050>說<0559>(8799)：耶和華<09001><03068>喜悅<02656>燔祭<09002><05930>和平安祭<02077>，豈如喜悅人聽從<09003><08085>(8800)他<03068>的話<09002><06963>呢？{<02009>}聽命<08085>(8800)勝<02896>於獻祭<04480><02077>；順從<09001><07181>(8687)勝於公羊<0352>的脂油<04480><02459>。
And Samuel<08050> said<0559>(8799), Hath the LORD<03068> as great delight<02656> in burnt offerings<05930> and sacrifices<02077>, as in obeying<08085>(8800) the voice<06963> of the LORD<03068>? Behold, to obey<08085>(8800) is better<02896> than sacrifice<02077>, and to hearken<07181>(8687) than the fat<02459> of rams<0352>.
15:23 悖逆<04805>的罪與行邪術<07081>的罪<02403>相等<03588>；頑梗<06484>(8687)的罪與拜虛神和偶像<08655>的罪<0205>相同。你既<03282>厭棄<03988>(8804){<0853>}耶和華<03068>的命令<01697>，耶和華也厭棄你<03988>(8799)作王<04480><04428>。
For rebellion<04805> is as the sin<02403> of witchcraft<07081>, and stubbornness<06484>(8687) is as iniquity<0205> and idolatry<08655>. Because thou hast rejected<03988>(8804) the word<01697> of the LORD<03068>, he hath also rejected<03988>(8799) thee from being king<04428>. {witchcraft: Heb. divination}
15:24 掃羅<07586>對<0413>撒母耳<08050>說<0559>(8799)：「我有罪了<02398>(8804)，我因<03588>懼怕<03372>(8804){<0853>}百姓<05971>，聽從<08085>(8799)他們的話<09002><06963>，就<03588>違背了<05674>(8804){<0853>}耶和華<03068>的命令<06310>和<0853>你的言語<01697>。
And Saul<07586> said<0559>(8799) unto Samuel<08050>, I have sinned<02398>(8804): for I have transgressed<05674>(8804) the commandment<06310> of the LORD<03068>, and thy words<01697>: because I feared<03372>(8804) the people<05971>, and obeyed<08085>(8799) their voice<06963>.
15:25 現在<06258>求<04994>你赦免<05375>(8798){<0853>}我的罪<02403>，同我<05973>回去<07725>(8798)，我好敬拜<07812>(8691)耶和華<09001><03068>。」
Now therefore, I pray thee, pardon<05375>(8798) my sin<02403>, and turn again<07725>(8798) with me, that I may worship<07812>(8691) the LORD<03068>.
15:26 撒母耳<08050>對<0413>掃羅<07586>說<0559>(8799)：「我不<03808>同你<05973>回去<07725>(8799)；因為<03588>你厭棄<03988>(8804){<0853>}耶和華<03068>的命令<01697>，耶和華<03068>也厭棄<03988>(8799)你作<04480><01961>{<05921>}以色列<03478>的王<04428>。」
And Samuel<08050> said<0559>(8799) unto Saul<07586>, I will not return<07725>(8799) with thee: for thou hast rejected<03988>(8804) the word<01697> of the LORD<03068>, and the LORD<03068> hath rejected<03988>(8799) thee from being king<04428> over Israel<03478>.
15:27 撒母耳<08050>轉身<05437>(8735)要走<09001><03212>(8800)，掃羅就扯住<02388>(8686)他外袍<04598>的衣襟<09002><03671>，衣襟就撕斷了<07167>(8735)。
And as Samuel<08050> turned about<05437>(8735) to go away<03212>(8800), he laid hold<02388>(8686) upon the skirt<03671> of his mantle<04598>, and it rent<07167>(8735).
15:28 撒母耳<08050>對他<0413>說<0559>(8799)：「如此，今日<03117>耶和華<03068>使<0853>以色列<03478>國<04468>與你<04480><05921>斷絕<07167>(8804)，將這國賜<05414>(8804)與比你更<04480>好的<02896>人<09001><07453>。
And Samuel<08050> said<0559>(8799) unto him, The LORD<03068> hath rent<07167>(8804) the kingdom<04468> of Israel<03478> from thee this day<03117>, and hath given<05414>(8804) it to a neighbour<07453> of thine, that is better<02896> than thou.
15:29 {<01571>}以色列<03478>的大能者<05331>必不<03808>致說謊<08266>(8762)，也不<03808>致後悔<05162>(8735)；因為<03588>他<01931>迥非<03808>世人<0120>，決不後悔<09001><05162>(8736)。」
And also the Strength<05331> of Israel<03478> will not lie<08266>(8762) nor repent<05162>(8735): for he is not a man<0120>, that he should repent<05162>(8736). {Strength: or, Eternity, or, Victory}
15:30 掃羅說<0559>(8799)：「我有罪了<02398>(8804)，雖然如此<06258>，求<04994>你在我百姓<05971>的長老<02205>和<05048>以色列人<03478>面前<05048>抬舉我<03513>(8761)，同我<05973>回去<07725>(8798)，我好敬拜<07812>(8694)耶和華<09001><03068>─你的神<0430>。」
Then he said<0559>(8799), I have sinned<02398>(8804): yet honour<03513>(8761) me now, I pray thee, before the elders<02205> of my people<05971>, and before Israel<03478>, and turn again<07725>(8798) with me, that I may worship<07812>(8694) the LORD<03068> thy God<0430>.
15:31 於是撒母耳<08050>轉身<07725>(8799)跟隨<0310>掃羅<07586>回去，掃羅<07586>就敬拜<07812>(8691)耶和華<09001><03068>。
So Samuel<08050> turned again<07725>(8799) after<0310> Saul<07586>; and Saul<07586> worshipped<07812>(8691) the LORD<03068>.
15:32 撒母耳<08050>說<0559>(8799)：「要把<0853>亞瑪力<06002>王<04428>亞甲<090>帶<05066>(8685)到我這裡<0413>來。」亞甲<090>就歡歡喜喜地<04574>來<03212>(8799)到他面前<0413>，{<090>}心裡說<0559>(8799)，死亡<04194>的苦難<04751>必定<0403>過去了<05493>(8804)。
Then said<0559>(8799) Samuel<08050>, Bring ye hither<05066>(8685) to me Agag<090> the king<04428> of the Amalekites<06002>. And Agag<090> came<03212>(8799) unto him delicately<04574>. And Agag<090> said<0559>(8799), Surely<0403> the bitterness<04751> of death<04194> is past<05493>(8804).
15:33 撒母耳<08050>說<0559>(8799)：「你既<09003><0834>用刀<02719>使婦人<0802>喪子<07921>(8765)，這樣<03651>，你母親<0517>在婦人中<04480><0802>也必喪子<07921>(8799)。」於是，撒母耳<08050>在吉甲<09002><01537>耶和華<03068>面前<09001><06440>將<0853>亞甲<090>殺死<08158>(8762)。
And Samuel<08050> said<0559>(8799), As thy sword<02719> hath made women<0802> childless<07921>(8765), so shall thy mother<0517> be childless<07921>(8799) among women<0802>. And Samuel<08050> hewed<08158><00> Agag<090> in pieces<08158>(8762) before<06440> the LORD<03068> in Gilgal<01537>.
15:34 撒母耳<08050>回了<03212>(8799)拉瑪<07414>。掃羅<07586>上<05927>(8804)他所住的基比亞<01390>，回<0413>自己的{<07586>}家<01004>去了。
Then Samuel<08050> went<03212>(8799) to Ramah<07414>; and Saul<07586> went up<05927>(8804) to his house<01004> to Gibeah<01390> of Saul<07586>.
15:35 撒母耳<08050>直到<05704>死<04194>的日子<03117>，再<03254>(8804)沒有<03808>見<09001><07200>(8800){<0853>}掃羅<07586>；但<03588>撒母耳<08050>為<0413>掃羅<07586>悲傷<056>(8694)，是因耶和華<03068>後悔<05162>(8738){<03588>}立<04427>(8689)他<0853>{<07586>}為<05921>以色列<03478>的王。
And Samuel<08050> came no more<03254>(8804) to see<07200>(8800) Saul<07586> until the day<03117> of his death<04194>: nevertheless<03588> Samuel<08050> mourned<056>(8694) for Saul<07586>: and the LORD<03068> repented<05162>(8738) that he had made Saul<07586> king<04427>(8689) over Israel<03478>.
