9:1 耶路‧巴力<03378>的兒子<01121>亞比米勒<040>到了<03212>(8799)示劍<07927>見<0413>他的眾母舅<0517><0251>{<01696>}{(8762)}，對他們<0413>和<0413>他外<0517>祖<01>全<03605>家<01004>的人<04940>說<09001><0559>(8800)：
And Abimelech<040> the son<01121> of Jerubbaal<03378> went<03212>(8799) to Shechem<07927> unto his mother's<0517> brethren<0251>, and communed<01696>(8762) with them, and with all the family<04940> of the house<01004> of his mother's<0517> father<01>, saying<0559>(8800),
9:2 「請<04994>你們問{<09002>}{<0241>}示劍<07927>的眾<03605>人<01167>說<01696>(8761)，是<04100>{<09001>}耶路‧巴力<03378>的眾<03605>子<01121>七十<07657>人<0376>都管理<04910>(8800)你們<09002>好<02896>呢？還是<0518>一<0259>人<0376>管理<04910>(8800)你們<09002>好呢？你們又要記念<02142>(8804){<03588>}我是<0589>你們的骨<06106>肉<01320>。」
Speak<01696>(8761), I pray you, in the ears<0241> of all the men<01167> of Shechem<07927>, Whether is better<02896> for you, either that all the sons<01121> of Jerubbaal<03378>, which are threescore and ten<07657> persons<0376>, reign<04910>(8800) over you, or that one<0259> reign<04910>(8800) over you? remember<02142>(8804) also that I am your bone<06106> and your flesh<01320>. {Whether...: Heb. 9:3 他的眾母舅<0517><0251>便將<0853>這<0428>一切<03605>話<01697>為他<05921>說<01696>(8762)給示劍<07927>人<01167>聽{<09002>}{<0241>}，示劍人的心<03820>就歸向<05186>(8799)<0310>亞比米勒<040>。{<03588>}他們說<0559>(8804)：「他原是<01931>我們的弟兄<0251>」；
And his mother's<0517> brethren<0251> spake<01696>(8762) of him in the ears<0241> of all the men<01167> of Shechem<07927> all these words<01697>: and their hearts<03820> inclined<05186>(8799) to follow<0310> Abimelech<040>; for they said<0559>(8804), He is our brother<0251>. {to follow: Heb. after}
9:4 就從巴力‧比利土<01170>的廟<04480><01004>中取了七十<07657>舍客勒銀子<03701>給<05414>(8799)亞比米勒<09001>；亞比米勒<040>用以<09002>雇<07936>(8799)了些匪<07386>{<06348>}{(8802)}徒<0582>跟隨<03212>(8799)他<0310>。
And they gave<05414>(8799) him threescore and ten<07657> pieces of silver<03701> out of the house<01004> of Baalberith<01170>, wherewith Abimelech<040> hired<07936>(8799) vain<07386> and light<06348>(8802) persons<0582>, which followed<03212>(8799) him<0310>.
9:5 他往<0935>(8799)俄弗拉<06084>到他父親的<01>家<01004>，將<0853>他弟兄<0251>、耶路‧巴力<03378>的眾子<01121>七十<07657>人<0376>都殺<02026>(8799)在<05921>一<0259>塊磐石<068>上；只剩下<03498>(8735)耶路‧巴力<03378>的小<06996>兒子<01121>約坦<03147>，因為<03588>他躲藏<02244>(8738)了。
And he went<0935>(8799) unto his father's<01> house<01004> at Ophrah<06084>, and slew<02026>(8799) his brethren<0251> the sons<01121> of Jerubbaal<03378>, being threescore and ten<07657> persons<0376>, upon one<0259> stone<068>: notwithstanding yet Jotham<03147> the youngest<06996> son<01121> of Jerubbaal<03378> was left<03498>(8735); for he hid<02244>(8738) himself.

And when they told<05046>(8686) it to Jotham<03147>, he went<03212>(8799) and stood<05975>(8799) in the top<07218> of mount<02022> Gerizim<01630>, and lifted up<05375>(8799) his voice<06963>, and cried<07121>(8799), and said<0559>(8799) unto them, Hearken<08085>(8798) unto me, ye men<01167> of Shechem<07927>, that God<0430> may hearken<08085>(8799) unto you.
9:8 有一時，樹木<06086>要膏<09001><04886>(8800)一樹為王<04428>，管理他們{<05921>}，就去<01980>(8804)(8676)<01980>(8800)對橄欖樹<09001><02132>說<0559>(8799)：『請你作<04427>(8798)我們的<05921>王。』
The trees<06086> went forth<01980>(8804)(8676)<01980>(8800) on a time to anoint<04886>(8800) a king<04428> over them; and they said<0559>(8799) unto the olive tree<02132>, Reign<04427>(8798) thou over us.
9:9 橄欖樹<02132>回答{<09001>}說<0559>(8799)：『我豈肯止住<02308>(8804){<0853>}供奉神<0430>和尊重<03513>(8762)人<0582>的<0834><09002>油<01880>，飄<01980>(8804)颻<09001><05128>(8800)在<05921>眾樹<06086>之上呢？』
But the olive tree<02132> said<0559>(8799) unto them, Should I leave<02308>(8804) my fatness<01880>, wherewith by me they honour<03513>(8762) God<0430> and man<0582>, and go<01980>(8804) to be promoted<05128>(8800) over the trees<06086>? {go...: or, go up and down for other trees}
9:10 樹木<06086>對無花果樹<09001><08384>說<0559>(8799)：『請你<0859>來<03212>(8798)作<04427>(8798)我們的<05921>王。』
And the trees<06086> said<0559>(8799) to the fig tree<08384>, Come<03212>(8798) thou, and reign<04427>(8798) over us.
9:11 無花果樹<08384>回答{<09001>}說<0559>(8799)：『我豈肯止住<02308>(8804)所結{<0853>}甜<04987>{<0853>}美<02896>的果子<08570>，飄<01980>(8804)颻<09001><05128>(8800)在<05921>眾樹<06086>之上呢？』
But the fig tree<08384> said<0559>(8799) unto them, Should I forsake<02308>(8804) my sweetness<04987>, and my good<02896> fruit<08570>, and go<01980>(8804) to be promoted<05128>(8800) over the trees<06086>?
9:12 樹木<06086>對葡萄樹<09001><01612>說<0559>(8799)：『請你<0859>來<03212>(8798)作<04427>(8798)我們的<05921>王。』
Then said<0559>(8799) the trees<06086> unto the vine<01612>, Come<03212>(8798) thou, and reign<04427>(8798) over us.
9:13 葡萄樹<01612>回答{<09001>}說<0559>(8799)：『我豈肯止住<02308>(8804)使神<0430>和人<0582>喜樂<08055>(8764)的<0853>新酒<08492>，飄<01980>(8804)颻<09001><05128>(8800)在<05921>眾樹<06086>之上呢。』
And the vine<01612> said<0559>(8799) unto them, Should I leave<02308>(8804) my wine<08492>, which cheereth<08055>(8764) God<0430> and man<0582>, and go<01980>(8804) to be promoted<05128>(8800) over the trees<06086>?
9:14 眾<03605>樹<06086>對<0413>荊棘<0329>說<0559>(8799)：『請你<0859>來<03212>(8798)作<04427>(8798)我們的<05921>王。』
Then said<0559>(8799) all the trees<06086> unto the bramble<0329>, Come<03212>(8798) thou, and reign<04427>(8798) over us. {bramble: or, thistle}
9:15 荊棘<0329>回答{<0413>}{<06086>}說<0559>(8799)：『你們<0859>若<0518>誠誠實實地<09002><0571>膏<04886>(8802)我<0853>為王<09001><04428>{<05921>}，就要{<0935>}{(8798)}投<02620>(8798)在我的蔭下<09002><06738>；不然<0518><0369>，願火<0784>從<04480>荊棘<0329>裡出來<03318>(8799)，燒滅<0398>(8799){<0853>}黎巴嫩<03844>的香柏樹<0730>。』
And the bramble<0329> said<0559>(8799) unto the trees<06086>, If in truth<0571> ye anoint<04886>(8802) me king<04428> over you, then come<0935>(8798) and put your trust<02620>(8798) in my shadow<06738>: and if not, let fire<0784> come out<03318>(8799) of the bramble<0329>, and devour<0398>(8799) the cedars<0730> of Lebanon<03844>.
9:16 「現在<06258>你們立<0853>亞比米勒<040>為王<04427>(8686)，若<0518>按誠實<09002><0571>正直<09002><08549>{<06213>}{(8804)}善<02896>待<06213>(8804){<05973>}耶路‧巴力<03378>和<05973>他的全家<01004>，這就是<0518>酬<06213>(8804){<09001>}他的<03027>勞<09003><01576>。
Now therefore, if ye have done<06213>(8804) truly<0571> and sincerely<08549>, in that ye have made Abimelech<040> king<04427>(8686), and if ye have dealt<06213>(8804) well<02896> with Jerubbaal<03378> and his house<01004>, and have done<06213>(8804) unto him according to the deserving<01576> of his hands<03027>;
9:17 {<0834>}從前我父<01>冒<07993>(8686){<0853>}死<05315><04480><05048>為你們<05921>爭戰<03898>(8738)，救了<05337>(8686)你們<0853>脫離米甸人<04080>的手<04480><03027>。

And ye are risen up<06965>(8804) against my father's<01> house<01004> this day<03117>, and have slain<02026>(8799) his sons<01121>, threescore and ten<07657> persons<0376>, upon one<0259> stone<068>, and have made Abimelech<040>, the son<01121> of his maidservant<0519>, king<04427>(8686) over the men<01167> of Shechem<07927>, because he is your brother<0251>;)
9:19 你們如<02088>今<03117>若<0518>按誠實<09002><0571>正直<09002><08549>待<06213>(8804){<05973>}耶路‧巴力<03378>和<05973>他的家<01004>，就可因亞比米勒<09002><040>得歡樂<08055>(8798)，他<01931>也<01571>可因你們<09002>得歡樂<08055>(8799)；
If ye then have dealt<06213>(8804) truly<0571> and sincerely<08549> with Jerubbaal<03378> and with his house<01004> this day<03117>, then rejoice<08055>(8798) ye in Abimelech<040>, and let him also rejoice<08055>(8799) in you:
9:20 不然<0518><0369>，願火<0784>從亞比米勒<04480><040>發出<03318>(8799)，燒滅<0398>(8799){<0853>}示劍<07927>人<01167>和<0853>米羅<04407>(8677)<01037>眾人<01004>，又願火<0784>從示劍<07927>人<04480><01167>和米羅<04407>(8676)人<04480><01004>中出來<03318>(8799)，燒滅<0398>(8799){<0853>}亞比米勒<040>。」
But if not, let fire<0784> come out<03318>(8799) from Abimelech<040>, and devour<0398>(8799) the men<01167> of Shechem<07927>, and the house<01004> of Millo<04407>(8677)<01037>; and let fire<0784> come out<03318>(8799) from the men<01167> of Shechem<07927>, and from the house<01004> of Millo<04407>(8676)<01037>, and devour<0398>(8799) Abimelech<040>.
9:21 約坦<03147>因怕他<04480><06440>弟兄<0251>亞比米勒<040>，就逃<05127>(8799)跑<01272>(8799)，來<03212>(8799)到比珥<0876>，住<03427>(8799)在那裡<08033>。
And Jotham<03147> ran away<01272>(8799), and fled<05127>(8799), and went<03212>(8799) to Beer<0876>, and dwelt<03427>(8799) there, for fear<06440> of Abimelech<040> his brother<0251>.
9:22 亞比米勒<040>管理<07786>(8799){<05921>}以色列人<03478>三<07969>年<08141>。
When Abimelech<040> had reigned<07786>(8799) three<07969> years<08141> over Israel<03478>,
9:23 上帝<0430>使<07971>(8799)惡<07451>魔<07307>降在<0996>亞比米勒<040>和示劍<07927>人<01167>中間<0996>，示劍<07927>人<01167>就以詭詐<0898>(8799)待亞比米勒<09002><040>。
Then God<0430> sent<07971>(8799) an evil<07451> spirit<07307> between Abimelech<040> and the men<01167> of Shechem<07927>; and the men<01167> of Shechem<07927> dealt treacherously<0898>(8799) with Abimelech<040>:
9:24 這是要叫耶路‧巴力<03378>七十<07657>個兒子<01121>所受<09001><0935>(8800)的殘害<02555>歸<09001><07760>(8800)與<05921>他們的哥哥<0251>亞比米勒<040>，又叫那<0834>流<02026>(8804)他們<0853>血<01818>的罪歸與<05921>{<0834>}幫助<02388>(8765){<0853>}他<03027>殺<09001><02026>(8800){<0853>}弟兄<0251>的示劍<07927>人<01167>。
That the cruelty<02555> done to the threescore and ten<07657> sons<01121> of Jerubbaal<03378> might come<0935>(8800), and their blood<01818> be laid<07760>(8800) upon Abimelech<040> their brother<0251>, which slew<02026>(8804) them; and upon the men<01167> of Shechem<07927>, which aided<02388>(8765)<03027> him in the killing<02026>(8800) of his brethren<0251>. {aided...: Heb. strengthened his hands to kill}

And the men<01167> of Shechem<07927> set<07760>(8799) liers in wait<0693>(8764) for him in the top<07218> of the mountains<02022>, and they robbed<01497>(8799) all that came<05674>(8799) along that way<01870> by them: and it was told<05046>(8714) Abimelech<040>.
9:26 以別<05651>的兒子<01121>迦勒<01603>和他的弟兄<0251>來<0935>(8799)到<05674>(8799)示劍<09002><07927>，示劍<07927>人<01167>都信靠<0982>(8799)他<09002>。
And Gaal<01603> the son<01121> of Ebed<05651> came<0935>(8799) with his brethren<0251>, and went over<05674>(8799) to Shechem<07927>: and the men<01167> of Shechem<07927> put their confidence<0982>(8799) in him.
9:27 示劍人出<03318>(8799)城到田間<07704>去，摘下<01219>(8799){<0853>}葡萄<03754>，踹<01869>(8799)酒，設擺<06213>(8799)筵宴<01974>，進<0935>(8799)他們神<0430>的廟<01004>中吃<0398>(8799)喝<08354>(8799)，咒詛<07043>(8762){<0853>}亞比米勒<040>。
And they went out<03318>(8799) into the fields<07704>, and gathered<01219>(8799) their vineyards<03754>, and trode<01869>(8799) the grapes , and made<06213>(8799) merry<01974>, and went<0935>(8799) into the house<01004> of their god<0430>, and did eat<0398>(8799) and drink<08354>(8799), and cursed<07043>(8762) Abimelech<040>. {merry: or, songs}
9:28 以別<05651>的兒子<01121>迦勒<01603>說<0559>(8799)：「亞比米勒<040>是誰<04310>？示劍<07927>是誰<04310>？使<03588>我們服事他<05647>(8799)呢？他不是耶路‧巴力<03378>的兒子<01121>嗎？他的幫手<06496>不是<03808>西布勒<02083>嗎？你們可以服事<05647>(8798){<0853>}示劍<07927>的父親<01>哈抹<02544>的後裔<0582>。我們<0587>為何<04069>服事<05647>(8799)亞比米勒呢？
And Gaal<01603> the son<01121> of Ebed<05651> said<0559>(8799), Who is Abimelech<040>, and who is Shechem<07927>, that we should serve<05647>(8799) him? is not he the son<01121> of Jerubbaal<03378>? and Zebul<02083> his officer<06496>? serve<05647>(8798) the men<0582> of Hamor<02544> the father<01> of Shechem<07927>: for why should we serve<05647>(8799) him?
9:29 惟願<04310>{<0853>}這<02088>民<05971>歸<05414>(8799)我的手下<09002><03027>，我就除掉<05493>(8686){<0853>}亞比米勒<040>。」迦勒又對亞比米勒<09001><040>說<0559>(8799)：「增添<07235>(8761)你的軍兵<06635>出來<03318>(8798)吧。」
And would to God this people<05971> were under<05414>(8799) my hand<03027>! then would I remove<05493>(8686) Abimelech<040>. And he said<0559>(8799) to Abimelech<040>, Increase<07235>(8761) thine army<06635>, and come out<03318>(8798).
9:30 邑<05892>宰<08269>西布勒<02083>聽見<08085>(8799){<0853>}以別<05651>的兒子<01121>迦勒<01603>的話<01697>，就發<02734>(8799)怒<0639>，
And when Zebul<02083> the ruler<08269> of the city<05892> heard<08085>(8799) the words<01697> of Gaal<01603> the son<01121> of Ebed<05651>, his anger<0639> was kindled<02734>(8799). {kindled: or, hot}
9:31 悄悄地<09002><08649>打發<07971>(8799)人<04397>去見<0413>亞比米勒<040>，說<09001><0559>(8800)：「{<02009>}以別<05651>的兒子<01121>迦勒<01603>和他的弟兄<0251>到<0935>(8802)了示劍<07927>，{<02009>}煽惑<06696>(8802){<0853>}城<05892>中的民攻擊你<05921>。
And he sent<07971>(8799) messengers<04397> unto Abimelech<040> privily<08649>, saying<0559>(8800), Behold, Gaal<01603> the son<01121> of Ebed<05651> and his brethren<0251> be come<0935>(8802) to Shechem<07927>; and, behold, they fortify<06696>(8802) the city<05892> against thee. {privily: Heb. craftily or, to Tormah}
9:32 現在<06258>你<0859>和跟隨你<0854>的<0834>人<05971>今夜<03915>起來<06965>(8798)，在田間<09002><07704>埋伏<0693>(8798)。
Now therefore up<06965>(8798) by night<03915>, thou and the people<05971> that is with thee, and lie in wait<0693>(8798) in the field<07704>:
9:33 {<01961>}到早晨<09002><01242>太陽<08121>一出<09003><02224>(8800)，你就起來<07925>(8686)闖<06584>(8804){<05921>}城<05892>。{<02009>}迦勒<01931>和跟隨他<0854>的<0834>人<05971>出來<03318>(8802)攻擊你<0413>的時候，你<03027>便向他們<09001>見<04672>(8799)機<09003><0834>而做<06213>(8804)。」
And it shall be, that in the morning<01242>, as soon as the sun<08121> is up<02224>(8800), thou shalt rise early<07925>(8686), and set<06584>(8804) upon the city<05892>: and, behold, when he and the people<05971> that is with him come out<03318>(8802) against thee, then mayest thou do<06213>(8804) to them as thou<03027> shalt find occasion<04672>(8799). {as thou shalt...: Heb. as thine hand shall find}
9:34 於是，亞比米勒<040>和跟隨他<05973>的<0834>眾<03605>人<05971>夜間<03915>起來<06965>(8799)，分作四<0702>隊<07218>，埋伏<0693>(8799)等候<05921>示劍人<07927>。
And Abimelech<040> rose up<06965>(8799), and all the people<05971> that were with him, by night<03915>, and they laid wait<0693>(8799) against Shechem<07927> in four<0702> companies<07218>.
9:35 以別<05651>的兒子<01121>迦勒<01603>出去<03318>(8799)，站在<05975>(8799)城<05892>門<08179>口<06607>。亞比米勒<040>和跟隨他<0854>的<0834>人<05971>從<04480>埋伏之處<03993>起來<06965>(8799)。
And Gaal<01603> the son<01121> of Ebed<05651> went out<03318>(8799), and stood<05975>(8799) in the entering<06607> of the gate<08179> of the city<05892>: and Abimelech<040> rose up<06965>(8799), and the people<05971> that were with him, from lying in wait<03993>.
9:36 迦勒<01603>看見<07200>(8799){<0853>}那些人<05971>，就對<0413>西布勒<02083>說<0559>(8799)：「看哪<02009>，有人<05971>從山<02022>頂<04480><07218>上下來<03381>(8802)了。」西布勒<02083>{<0413>}說<0559>(8799)：「你<0859>看見<07200>(8802){<0853>}山<02022>的影子<06738>，以為是人<09003><0582>。」
And when Gaal<01603> saw<07200>(8799) the people<05971>, he said<0559>(8799) to Zebul<02083>, Behold, there come<03381><00> people<05971> down<03381>(8802) from the top<07218> of the mountains<02022>. And Zebul<02083> said<0559>(8799) unto him, Thou seest<07200>(8802) the shadow<06738> of the mountains<02022> as if they were men<0582>.
9:37 迦勒<01603>又<03254>(8686)<05750>說<09001><01696>(8763)<0559>(8799)：「看哪<02009>，有人<05971>從<04480><05973>高<02872>處<0776>下來<03381>(8802)，又有一<0259>隊<07218>從米惡尼尼<06049>(8781)橡樹<0436>的路上<04480><01870>而來<0935>(8804)。」
And Gaal<01603> spake<01696>(8763) again<03254>(8686) and said<0559>(8799), See there come<03381><00> people<05971> down<03381>(8802) by the middle<02872> of the land<0776>, and another<0259> company<07218> come<0935>(8804) along by the plain<0436> of<01870> Meonenim<06049>(8781). {middle: Heb. navel} {Meonenim: or, the regarders of times}
9:38 西布勒<02083>對他<0413>說<0559>(8799)：「你<0834>曾說<0559>(8799)，亞比米勒<040>是誰<04310>，叫<03588>我們服事他<05647>(8799)？{<0645>}你所誇的口<06310>在哪裡呢<0346>？這不是<03808>你所<0834>藐視的<03988>(8804){<09002>}{<02088>}民<05971>嗎？你現在<04994>出去<03318>(8798)，{<06258>}與他們<09002>交戰<03898>(8734)吧！」
Then said<0559>(8799) Zebul<02083> unto him, Where is now<0645> thy mouth<06310>, wherewith thou saidst<0559>(8799), Who is Abimelech<040>, that we should serve<05647>(8799) him? is not this the people<05971> that thou hast despised<03988>(8804)? go out<03318>(8798), I pray now<04994>, and fight<03898>(8734) with them.
9:39 於是迦勒<01603>率領<09001><06440>示劍<07927>人<01167>出去<03318>(8799)，與亞比米勒<09002><040>交戰<03898>(8735)。
And Gaal<01603> went out<03318>(8799) before<06440> the men<01167> of Shechem<07927>, and fought<03898>(8735) with Abimelech<040>.

And Abimelech<040> chased<07291>(8799) him, and he fled<05127>(8799) before<06440> him, and many<07227> were overthrown<05307>(8799) and wounded<02491>, even unto the entering<06607> of the gate<08179>.
9:41 亞比米勒<040>住<03427>(8799)在亞魯瑪<09002><0725>。西布勒<02083>趕出<01644>(8762){<0853>}迦勒<01603>和<0853>他弟兄<0251>，不准他們住<04480><03427>(8800)在示劍<09002><07927>。
And Abimelech<040> dwelt<03427>(8799) at Arumah<0725>: and Zebul<02083> thrust out<01644>(8762) Gaal<01603> and his brethren<0251>, that they should not dwell<03427>(8800) in Shechem<07927>.

And it came to pass on the morrow<04283>, that the people<05971> went out<03318>(8799) into the field<07704>; and they told<05046>(8686) Abimelech<040>.

And he took<03947>(8799) the people<05971>, and divided<02673>(8799) them into three<07969> companies<07218>, and laid wait<0693>(8799) in the field<07704>, and looked<07200>(8799), and, behold, the people<05971> were come forth<03318>(8802) out of the city<05892>; and he rose up<06965>(8799) against them, and smote<05221>(8686) them.

9:46 示劍<07927>樓<04026>的{<03605>}人<01167>聽見了<08085>(8799)，就躲<0935>(8799)入<0413>巴力‧比利土<01286>廟<01004>的衛所<06877>。
And when all the men<01167> of the tower<04026> of Shechem<07927> heard<08085>(8799) that , they entered<0935>(8799) into an hold<06877> of the house<01004> of the god<0410> Berith<01286>.
9:47 有人告訴<05046>(8714)亞比米勒<09001><040>說：「{<03588>}示劍<07927>樓<04026>的人<01167>都<03605>聚<06908>(8694)在一處。」
And it was told<05046>(8714) Abimelech<040>, that all the men<01167> of the tower<04026> of Shechem<07927> were gathered together<06908>(8694).

And Abimelech<040> gat him up<05927>(8799) to mount<02022> Zalmon<06756>, he and all the people<05971> that were with him; and Abimelech<040> took<03947>(8799) an axe<07134> in his hand<03027>, and cut down<03772>(8799) a bough<07754> from the trees<06086>, and took<05375>(8799) it, and laid<07760>(8799) it on his shoulder<07926>, and said<0559>(8799) unto the people<05971> that were with him, What ye have seen<07200>(8804) me do<06213>(8804), make haste<04116>(8761), and do<06213>(8798) as I<03644> have done . {me do: Heb. Then went<03212>(8799) Abimelech<040> to Thebez<08405>, and encamped<02583>(8799) against Thebez<08405>, and took<03920>(8799) it.

But there was a strong<05797> tower<04026> within<08432> the city<05892>, and thither fled<05127>(8799) all the men<0582> and women<0802>, and all they<01167> of the city<05892>, and shut<05462>(8799) it to them, and gat them up<05927>(8799) to the top<01406> of the tower<04026>.

And Abimelech<040> came<0935>(8799) unto the tower<04026>, and fought<03898>(8735) against it, and went hard<05066>(8799) unto the door<06607> of the tower<04026> to burn<08313>(8800) it with fire<0784>.
9:53 有一個<0259>婦人<0802>把一塊<06400>上磨石<07393>拋<07993>(8686)在<05921>亞比米勒的<040>頭<07218>上，打破<07533>(8686)了{<0853>}他的腦骨<01538>。
And a certain<0259> woman<0802> cast<07993>(8686) a piece<06400> of a millstone<07393> upon Abimelech's<040> head<07218>, and all to brake<07533>(8686) his skull<01538>.
9:54 他就急忙<04120>喊叫<07121>(8799){<0413>}拿<05375>(8802)他兵器<03627>的少年人<05288>，對他<09001>說<0559>(8799)：「拔出<08025>(8798)你的刀<02719>來，殺了我<04191>(8786)吧！免得<06435>人議論我<09001>說<0559>(8799)，他為一個婦人<0802>所殺<02026>(8804)。」於是少年人<05288>把他刺透<01856>(8799)，他就死了<04191>(8799)。
Then he called<07121>(8799) hastily<04120> unto the young man<05288> his armourbearer<05375>(8802)<03627>, and said<0559>(8799) unto him, Draw<08025>(8798) thy sword<02719>, and slay<04191>(8786) me, that men say<0559>(8799) not of me, A woman<0802> slew<02026>(8804) him. And his young man<05288> thrust him through<01856>(8799), and he died<04191>(8799).
9:55 以色列<03478>人<0376>見<07200>(8799){<03588>}亞比米勒<040>死了<04191>(8804)，便各<0376>回<03212>(8799)自己的地方<09001><04725>去了。
And when the men<0376> of Israel<03478> saw<07200>(8799) that Abimelech<040> was dead<04191>(8804), they departed<03212>(8799) every man<0376> unto his place<04725>.
9:56 這樣，上帝<0430>報應<07725>(8686){<0853>}亞比米勒<040>向他父親<09001><01>所<0834>行<06213>(8804)的惡<07451>，就是殺了<09001><02026>(8800){<0853>}弟兄<0251>七十<07657>個人的惡。
Thus God<0430> rendered<07725>(8686) the wickedness<07451> of Abimelech<040>, which he did<06213>(8804) unto his father<01>, in slaying<02026>(8800) his seventy<07657> brethren<0251>:
9:57 {<0853>}示劍<07927>人<0582>的一切<03605>惡<07451>，上帝<0430>也都報應<07725>(8689)在他們頭上<09002><07218>；耶路‧巴力<03378>的兒子<01121>約坦<03147>的咒詛<07045>歸<0935>(8799)到他們身上<0413>了。
And all the evil<07451> of the men<0582> of Shechem<07927> did God<0430> render<07725>(8689) upon their heads<07218>: and upon them came<0935>(8799) the curse<07045> of Jotham<03147> the son<01121> of Jerubbaal<03378>.
