And it came to pass, when Jabin<02985> king<04428> of Hazor<02674> had heard<08085>(8800) those things , that he sent<07971>(8799) to Jobab<03103> king<04428> of Madon<04068>, and to the king<04428> of Shimron<08110>, and to the king<04428> of Achshaph<0407>,
2 與{<0834>}北方<04480><06828>山地<09002><02022>、基尼烈<03672>南邊<05045>的亞拉巴<09002><06160>高原<09002><08219>，並西邊<04480><03220>多珥<01756>山岡<09002><05299>的<0413>諸王<04428>；
And to the kings<04428> that were on the north<06828> of the mountains<02022>, and of the plains<06160> south<05045> of Chinneroth<03672>, and in the valley<08219>, and in the borders<05299> of Dor<01756> on the west<03220>,
3 又去見東方<04480><04217>和西方<04480><03220>的迦南人<03669>，與山地<09002><02022>的亞摩利人<0567>、赫人<02850>、比利洗人<06522>、耶布斯人<02983>，並黑門山<02768>根<08478>米斯巴<04709>地<09002><0776>的希未人<02340>。
And to the Canaanite<03669> on the east<04217> and on the west<03220>, and to the Amorite<0567>, and the Hittite<02850>, and the Perizzite<06522>, and the Jebusite<02983> in the mountains<02022>, and to the Hivite<02340> under Hermon<02768> in the land<0776> of Mizpeh<04709>.
4 這些王<01992>和他們<05973>的眾<03605>軍<04264>都出來<03318>(8799)，人<05971>數多<07227>如{<0834>}{<05921>}海<03220>邊<08193>的沙<09003><02344>{<09001>}{<07230>}，並有許<03966>多<07227>馬匹<05483>車輛<07393>。
And they went out<03318>(8799), they and all their hosts<04264> with them, much<07227> people<05971>, even as the sand<02344> that is upon the sea<03220> shore<08193> in multitude<07230>, with horses<05483> and chariots<07393> very<03966> many<07227>.
5 這<0428>諸王<03605><04428>會合<03259>(8735)，來<0935>(8799)到<0413>米倫<04792>水邊<04325>，一同<03162>安營<02583>(8799)，要與<05973>以色列<03478>人爭戰<09001><03898>(8736)。
And when all these kings<04428> were met together<03259>(8735), they came<0935>(8799) and pitched<02583>(8799) together<03162> at the waters<04325> of Merom<04792>, to fight<03898>(8736) against Israel<03478>. {met...: Heb. assembled by appointment}
6 耶和華<03068>對<0413>約書亞<03091>說<0559>(8799)：「你不要<0408>因他們<04480><06440>懼怕<03372>(8799)。{<03588>}明日<04279>這<02063>時<09003><06256>，我必<0595>將<0853>他們交付<05414>(8802){<09001>}{<06440>}以色列<03478>人全然<03605>殺了<02491>。你要砍斷<06131>(8762){<0853>}他們馬<05483>的蹄筋，用火<09002><0784>焚燒<08313>(8799){<0853>}他們的車輛<04818>。」
And the LORD<03068> said<0559>(8799) unto Joshua<03091>, Be not afraid<03372>(8799) because<06440> of them: for to morrow<04279> about this time<06256> will I deliver them up<05414>(8802) all slain<02491> before<06440> Israel<03478>: thou shalt hough<06131>(8762) their horses<05483>, and burn<08313>(8799) their chariots<04818> with fire<0784>.
7 於是約書亞<03091>率領<0935>(8799)一切<03605>兵<04421>丁<05971>{<05973>}{<05921>}，在<05921>米倫<04792>水邊<04325>突然<06597>向前攻打<05307>(8799)他們<09002>。
So Joshua<03091> came<0935>(8799), and all the people<05971> of war<04421> with him, against them by the waters<04325> of Merom<04792> suddenly<06597>; and they fell upon<05307>(8799) them.
8 耶和華<03068>將他們交<05414>(8799)在以色列<03478>人手裡<09002><03027>，以色列<03478>人就擊殺他們<05221>(8686)，追趕他們<07291>(8799)到<05704>西頓<06721>大城<07227>，到<05704>米斯利弗‧瑪音<04956>，直到<05704>東邊<04217>米斯巴<04708>的平原<01237>，將他們擊殺<05221>(8686)，{<05704>}沒有<01115>留下<07604>(8689)一個<09001>{<08300>}。
And the LORD<03068> delivered<05414>(8799) them into the hand<03027> of Israel<03478>, who smote<05221>(8686) them, and chased<07291>(8799) them unto great<07227> Zidon<06721>, and unto Misrephothmaim<04956>, and unto the valley<01237> of Mizpeh<04708> eastward<04217>; and they smote<05221>(8686) them, until they left<07604>(8689) them none remaining<08300>. {great Zidon: or, Zidonrabbah} {Misrephothmaim: or, Salt pits: Heb. 9 約書亞<03091>就照耶和華<03068>所<09003><0834>吩咐<0559>(8804)他<09001>的去行<06213>(8799){<09001>}，砍斷<06131>(8765){<0853>}他們馬<05483>的蹄筋，用火<09002><0784>焚燒<08313>(8804){<0853>}他們的車輛<04818>。
And Joshua<03091> did<06213>(8799) unto them as the LORD<03068> bade<0559>(8804) him: he houghed<06131>(8765) their horses<05483>, and burnt<08313>(8804) their chariots<04818> with fire<0784>.
10 當時<09002><06256><01931>，約書亞<03091>轉回<07725>(8799)奪了<03920>(8799){<0853>}夏瑣<02674>，用刀<09002><02719>擊殺<05221>(8689){<0853>}夏瑣王<04428>。（{<03588>}素來<09001><06440>夏瑣<02674>在這<0428>諸<03605>國<04467>中是<01931>為首<07218>的。）
And Joshua<03091> at that time<06256> turned back<07725>(8799), and took<03920>(8799) Hazor<02674>, and smote<05221>(8689) the king<04428> thereof with the sword<02719>: for Hazor<02674> beforetime<06440> was the head<07218> of all those kingdoms<04467>.
11 以色列<03478>人用<09001><06310>刀<02719>擊殺<05221>(8686){<0853>}城中<09002>的<0834>人口<03605><05315>，將他們盡行殺滅<02763>(8687)；凡<03605>有氣息<05397>的沒有<03808>留下<03498>(8738)一個。約書亞<03091>又用火<09002><0784>焚燒<08313>(8804){<0853>}夏瑣<02674>。
And they smote<05221>(8686) all the souls<05315> that were therein with the edge<06310> of the sword<02719>, utterly destroying<02763>(8687) them : there was not any left<03498>(8738) to breathe<05397>: and he burnt<08313>(8804) Hazor<02674> with fire<0784>. {any...: Heb. any breath}
12 約書亞<03091>奪了<03920>(8804){<0853>}這些<0428>王<04428>的一切<03605>城邑<05892>，擒獲{<0853>}其中的諸<03605>王<04428>，用<09001><06310>刀<02719>擊殺他們<05221>(8686)，將他們<0853>盡行殺滅<02763>(8689)，正如耶和華<03068>僕人<05650>摩西<04872>所<09003><0834>吩咐<06680>(8765)的。
And all the cities<05892> of those kings<04428>, and all the kings<04428> of them, did Joshua<03091> take<03920>(8804), and smote<05221>(8686) them with the edge<06310> of the sword<02719>, and he utterly destroyed<02763>(8689) them, as Moses<04872> the servant<05650> of the LORD<03068> commanded<06680>(8765).
13 至於<07535>造<05975>(8802)在<05921>山岡<08510>上的城<05892>，除了<02108>{<0853>}夏瑣<02674>以外，以色列<03478>人都<03605>沒有<03808>焚燒<08313>(8804)。約書亞<03091>只<09001><0905>將夏瑣焚燒<08313>(8804)了。
But as for the cities<05892> that stood<05975>(8802) still in their strength<08510>, Israel<03478> burned<08313>(8804) none of them, save<02108> Hazor<02674> only; that did Joshua<03091> burn<08313>(8804). {in their...: Heb. on their heap}
14 那些<0428>城邑<05892>所有的<03605>財物<07998>和牲畜<0929>，以色列<03478>人<01121>都取<0962>(8804)為自己<09001>的掠物；惟有<07535>{<0853>}一切<03605>人口<0120>都用<09001><06310>刀<02719>擊殺<05221>(8689)，直到<05704>殺盡<08045>(8687){<0853>}；凡<03605>有氣息的<05397>沒有<03808>留下<07604>(8689)一個。
And all the spoil<07998> of these cities<05892>, and the cattle<0929>, the children<01121> of Israel<03478> took for a prey<0962>(8804) unto themselves; but every man<0120> they smote<05221>(8689) with the edge<06310> of the sword<02719>, until they had destroyed<08045>(8687) them, neither left<07604>(8689) they any to breathe<05397>.
15 耶和華<03068>怎樣<09003><0834>吩咐<06680>(8765){<0853>}他僕人<05650>摩西<04872>，摩西<04872>就照樣<03651>吩咐<06680>(8765){<0853>}約書亞<03091>，約書亞<03091>也照樣<03651>行<06213>(8804)。凡<04480><03605>耶和華<03068>所<0834>吩咐<06680>(8765){<0853>}摩西<04872>的，約書亞<03091>沒有<03808>一件<01697>懈怠不行<05493>(8689)的。
As the LORD<03068> commanded<06680>(8765) Moses<04872> his servant<05650>, so did Moses<04872> command<06680>(8765) Joshua<03091>, and so did<06213>(8804) Joshua<03091>; he left<05493><00> nothing<01697> undone<05493>(8689) of all that the LORD<03068> commanded<06680>(8765) Moses<04872>. {left...: Heb. removed nothing}
16 約書亞<03091>奪了<03947>(8799){<0853>}那<02063>全<03605>地<0776>，就是山地<02022>、{<0853>}一帶<03605>南地<05045>、{<0853>}歌珊<01657>全<03605>地<0776>、{<0853>}高原<08219>、{<0853>}亞拉巴<06160>、{<0853>}以色列<03478>的山地<02022>，和山下的高原<08219>。
So Joshua<03091> took<03947>(8799) all that land<0776>, the hills<02022>, and all the south country<05045>, and all the land<0776> of Goshen<01657>, and the valley<08219>, and the plain<06160>, and the mountain<02022> of Israel<03478>, and the valley<08219> of the same;
17 從<04480>上<05927>(8802)西珥<08165>的哈拉<02510>山<02022>，直到<05704>黑門<02768>山<02022>下<08478>黎巴嫩<03844>平原<09002><01237>的巴力‧迦得<01171>，並且擒獲<03920>(8804){<0853>}那些地的諸<03605>王<04428>，將他們殺<05221>(8686)死<04191>(8686)。
Even from the mount<02022> Halak<02510>, that goeth up<05927>(8802) to Seir<08165>, even unto Baalgad<01171> in the valley<01237> of Lebanon<03844> under mount<02022> Hermon<02768>: and all their kings<04428> he took<03920>(8804), and smote<05221>(8686) them, and slew<04191>(8686) them. {the mount...: or, the smooth mountain}
18 約書亞<03091>和<0854>這<0428>諸<03605>王<04428>爭戰<06213>(8804)<04421>了許多<07227>年日<03117>。
Joshua<03091> made<06213>(8804) war<04421> a long<07227> time<03117> with all those kings<04428>.
19 除了<01115>基遍<01391>的希未<02340>人<03427>(8802)之外，沒<03808>有<01961>一城<05892>與<0413>以色列<03478>人<01121>講和<07999>(8689)的<0834>，都<03605>是以色列<03478>人爭戰<09002><04421>奪來<03947>(8804)的<0853>。
There was not a city<05892> that made peace<07999>(8689) with the children<01121> of Israel<03478>, save the Hivites<02340> the inhabitants<03427>(8802) of Gibeon<01391>: all other they took<03947>(8804) in battle<04421>.
20 因為<03588>耶和華<03068>的意思<04480><0853>是要<01961>使<0853>他們心<03820>裡剛硬<09001><02388>(8763)，來<09001><07125>(8800)與<0853>以色列<03478>人爭戰<04421>，好叫<09001><04616>他們盡被殺滅<02763>(8687)<08045>(8687)，不<09001><01115>蒙<01961>{<09001>}憐憫<08467>，正如耶和華<03068>所<09003><0834>吩咐<06680>(8765){<0853>}摩西<04872>的。
For it was of the LORD<03068> to harden<02388>(8763) their hearts<03820>, that they should come against<07125>(8800) Israel<03478> in battle<04421>, that he might destroy them utterly<02763>(8687), and that they might have no favour<08467>, but that he might destroy<08045>(8687) them, as the LORD<03068> commanded<06680>(8765) Moses<04872>.
21 當<01931>時<09002><06256>約書亞<03091>來到<0935>(8799)，將<0853>住<04480>山地<02022>、{<04480>}希伯崙<02275>、{<04480>}底璧<01688>、{<04480>}亞拿伯<06024>、{<04480>}{<03605>}猶大<03063>山地<02022>、{<04480>}{<03605>}以色列<03478>山地<02022>所有的亞衲族人<06062>剪除<03772>(8686)了。約書亞<03091>將他們和<05973>他們的城邑<05892>盡都毀滅<02763>(8689)。
And at that time<06256> came<0935>(8799) Joshua<03091>, and cut off<03772>(8686) the Anakims<06062> from the mountains<02022>, from Hebron<02275>, from Debir<01688>, from Anab<06024>, and from all the mountains<02022> of Judah<03063>, and from all the mountains<02022> of Israel<03478>: Joshua<03091> destroyed them utterly<02763>(8689) with their cities<05892>.
22 在以色列<03478>人<01121>的地<09002><0776>沒有<03808>留下<03498>(8738)一個亞衲族人<06062>，只<07535>在迦薩<09002><05804>、迦特<09002><01661>，和亞實突<09002><0795>有留下<07604>(8738)的。
There was none of the Anakims<06062> left<03498>(8738) in the land<0776> of the children<01121> of Israel<03478>: only in Gaza<05804>, in Gath<01661>, and in Ashdod<0795>, there remained<07604>(8738).
23 這樣，約書亞<03091>照著<09003><03605>耶和華<03068>所<0834>吩咐<0413>摩西<04872>的一切話<01696>(8765)奪了<03947>(8799)那<0853>全<03605>地<0776>，{<03091>}就按著以色列<09001><03478>支派<09001><07626>的宗族<09003><04256>將地分給<05414>(8799)他們為業<09001><05159>。於是國中<0776>太平<08252>(8804)，沒有爭戰<04480><04421>了。
So Joshua<03091> took<03947>(8799) the whole land<0776>, according to all that the LORD<03068> said<01696>(8765) unto Moses<04872>; and Joshua<03091> gave<05414>(8799) it for an inheritance<05159> unto Israel<03478> according to their divisions<04256> by their tribes<07626>. And the land<0776> rested<08252>(8804) from war<04421>.
