17 「凡<0834>有<01961>(8799)殘疾<03971>{<09002>}，或有甚麼<03605>惡<07451>病<01697>的牛<07794>羊<07716>，你都不可<03808>獻<02076>(8799)給耶和華<09001><03068>─你的　神<0430>，因為<03588>這是<01931>耶和華<03068>─你　神<0430>所憎惡的<08441>。
Thou shalt not sacrifice<02076>(8799) unto the LORD<03068> thy God<0430> any bullock<07794>, or sheep<07716>, wherein is blemish<03971>, or any evilfavouredness<07451><01697>: for that is an abomination<08441> unto the LORD<03068> thy God<0430>. {sheep: or, goat}
2 「在你們中間<09002><07130>，在耶和華<03068>─你　神<0430>所<0834>賜<05414>(8802)你<09001>的諸城<08179>中，無論哪座城<09002><0259>裡，若<03588>有<04672>(8735)人，或男<0376>或<0176>女<0802>，{<0834>}行<06213>(8799){<0853>}耶和華<03068>─你　神<0430>眼<09002><05869>中看為惡的事<07451>，違背<09001><05674>(8800)了他的約<01285>，
If there be found<04672>(8735) among<07130> you, within any<0259> of thy gates<08179> which the LORD<03068> thy God<0430> giveth<05414>(8802) thee, man<0376> or woman<0802>, that hath wrought<06213>(8799) wickedness<07451> in the sight<05869> of the LORD<03068> thy God<0430>, in transgressing<05674>(8800) his covenant<01285>,
3 去<03212>(8799)事奉<05647>(8799)敬拜<07812>(8691){<09001>}別<0312>神<0430>，或拜日頭<09001><08121>，或<0176>拜月亮<09001><03394>，或<0176>拜天<08064>{<09001>}{<03605>}象<06635>，是<0834>主不<03808>曾吩咐<06680>(8765)的；
And hath gone<03212>(8799) and served<05647>(8799) other<0312> gods<0430>, and worshipped<07812>(8691) them, either the sun<08121>, or moon<03394>, or any of the host<06635> of heaven<08064>, which I have not commanded<06680>(8765);
4 有人告訴<05046>(8717)你<09001>，你也聽見<08085>(8804)了，就要細細地<03190>(8687)探聽<01875>(8804)，果然<02009>是真<0571>，準<03559>(8737)有這<02063>可憎惡<08441>的事<01697>行<06213>(8738)在以色列<09002><03478>中，
And it be told<05046>(8717) thee, and thou hast heard<08085>(8804) of it , and enquired<01875>(8804) diligently<03190>(8687), and, behold, it be true<0571>, and the thing<01697> certain<03559>(8737), that such abomination<08441> is wrought<06213>(8738) in Israel<03478>:
5 你就要將<0834>行<06213>(8804){<0853>}這<02088>惡<07451>事<01697>的{<0853>}{<01931>}男人<0376>或<0176>{<0853>}{<01931>}女人<0802>拉<03318>(8689)到<0413>城門<08179>外，用石頭<09002><068>將他{<0853>}{<0376>}{<0176>}{<0853>}{<0802>}打<05619>(8804)死<04191>(8804)。
Then shalt thou bring forth<03318>(8689) that man<0376> or that woman<0802>, which have committed<06213>(8804) that wicked<07451> thing<01697>, unto thy gates<08179>, even that man<0376> or that woman<0802>, and shalt stone<05619>(8804) them with stones<068>, till they die<04191>(8804).
6 要憑<05921>兩<08147>{<05707>}{<0176>}三<07969>個人的口<06310>作見證<05707>將那當死的人<04191>(8714)治死<04191>(8801)；不可<03808>憑<05921>一<0259>個人<05707>的口<06310>作見證將他治死<04191>(8714)。
At the mouth<06310> of two<08147> witnesses<05707>, or three<07969> witnesses<05707>, shall he that is worthy of death<04191>(8714) be put to death<04191>(8801); but at the mouth<06310> of one<0259> witness<05707> he shall not be put to death<04191>(8714).
7 見證人<05707>要<01961>(8799)先<09002><07223>下手<03027>{<09002>}，然後<09002><0314>眾<03605>民<05971>也下手<03027>將他治死<09001><04191>(8687)。這樣，就把那惡<07451>從你們中間<04480><07130>除掉<01197>(8765)。
The hands<03027> of the witnesses<05707> shall be first<07223> upon him to put him to death<04191>(8687), and afterward<0314> the hands<03027> of all the people<05971>. So thou shalt put<01197><00> the evil<07451> away<01197>(8765) from among<07130> you.
8 「你城<09002><08179>中若<03588>起了爭訟<07379>的事<01697>，或因<0996>流血<01818><09001><01818>，或因<0996>爭競<01779><09001><01779>，或因<0996>毆打<05061><09001><05061>，是你<04480>難<06381>(8735)斷<09001><04941>的案件<01697>，你就當起來<06965>(8804)，{<05927>}{(8804)}往<0413>耶和華<03068>─你　神<0430>所<0834>選擇<0977>(8799)的{<09002>}地方<04725>
If there arise a matter<01697> too hard<06381>(8735) for thee in judgment<04941>, between blood<01818> and blood<01818>, between plea<01779> and plea<01779>, and between stroke<05061> and stroke<05061>, being matters<01697> of controversy<07379> within thy gates<08179>: then shalt thou arise<06965>(8804), and get thee up<05927>(8804) into the place<04725> which the LORD<03068> thy God<0430> shall choose<0977>(8799);
9 去<0935>(8804)見<0413>祭司<03548>利未人<03881>，並<0413>當<01992>時<09002><03117>的<0834>{<01961>}{(8799)}審判官<08199>(8802)，求問<01875>(8804)他們，他們必將<0853>判<04941>語<01697>指示<05046>(8689)你<09001>。
And thou shalt come<0935>(8804) unto the priests<03548> the Levites<03881>, and unto the judge<08199>(8802) that shall be in those days<03117>, and enquire<01875>(8804); and they shall shew<05046>(8689) thee the sentence<01697> of judgment<04941>:
10 他們在<04480>耶和華<03068>所<0834>選擇<0977>(8799)的地方<04725>{<01931>}指示<05046>(8686)你<09001>的{<0834>}判語<06310><01697>，你必{<06213>}{(8804)}照著<05921>他們所<0834>指教你<03384>(8686)的一切<09003><03605>話謹守<08104>(8804)遵行<09001><06213>(8800)。
And thou shalt do<06213>(8804) according to the sentence<06310><01697>, which they of that place<04725> which the LORD<03068> shall choose<0977>(8799) shall shew<05046>(8686) thee; and thou shalt observe<08104>(8804) to do<06213>(8800) according to all that they inform<03384>(8686) thee:
11 要按<05921>他們所<0834>指教你<03384>(8686)的律法<06310><08451>，照<05921>他們所<0834>斷<04941>定<0559>(8799){<09001>}的去行<06213>(8799)；他們所<0834>指示<05046>(8686)你<09001>的{<04480>}判語<01697>，你不可<03808>偏離<05493>(8799)左<08040>右<03225>。
According to the sentence<06310> of the law<08451> which they shall teach<03384>(8686) thee, and according to the judgment<04941> which they shall tell<0559>(8799) thee, thou shalt do<06213>(8799): thou shalt not decline<05493>(8799) from the sentence<01697> which they shall shew<05046>(8686) thee, to the right hand<03225>, nor to the left<08040>.
12 若有人<0376>{<0834>}擅敢<09002><02087>{<06213>}{(8799)}不<09001><01115>聽從<08085>(8800){<0413>}那侍<09001><08334>(8763)立<05975>(8802)在<0853>耶和華<03068>─你　神<0430>面前<08033>的祭司<03548>，或<0176>不聽從<0413>審判官<08199>(8802)，那<01931>人<0376>就必治死<04191>(8804)；這樣，便將那惡<07451>從以色列<04480><03478>中除掉<01197>(8765)。
And the man<0376> that will do<06213>(8799) presumptuously<02087>, and will not hearken<08085>(8800) unto the priest<03548> that standeth<05975>(8802) to minister<08334>(8763) there before the LORD<03068> thy God<0430>, or unto the judge<08199>(8802), even that man<0376> shall die<04191>(8804): and thou shalt put away<01197>(8765) the evil<07451> from Israel<03478>. {and will...: Heb. not to hearken}
13 眾<03605>百姓<05971>都要聽見<08085>(8799)害怕<03372>(8799)，不<03808>再<05750>擅敢行事<02102>(8686)。」
And all the people<05971> shall hear<08085>(8799), and fear<03372>(8799), and do no more presumptuously<02102>(8686).
14 「{<03588>}到了<0935>(8799){<0413>}耶和華<03068>─你　神<0430>所<0834>賜<05414>(8802)你<09001>的地<0776>，得了<03423>(8804)那地<09002>居住<03427>(8804)的時候，若說<0559>(8804)：『我要立<07760>(8799)王<04428>治理我<05921>，{<0834>}像四<09003><03605>圍<05439>的國<01471>一樣。』
When thou art come<0935>(8799) unto the land<0776> which the LORD<03068> thy God<0430> giveth<05414>(8802) thee, and shalt possess<03423>(8804) it, and shalt dwell<03427>(8804) therein, and shalt say<0559>(8804), I will set<07760>(8799) a king<04428> over me, like as all the nations<01471> that are about<05439> me;
15 你總要<07760>(8800)立<07760>(8799)耶和華<03068>─你　神<0430>所<0834>揀選<0977>(8799)的人<09002>為<05921>王<04428>。必從你弟兄<0251>中<04480><07130>立<07760>(8799)一人{<05921>}；不<03808>可<03201>(8799)立<09001><05414>(8800){<0834>}{<03808>}{<01931>}你弟兄<0251>以外<05237>的人<0376>為王<04428>{<05921>}。
Thou shalt in any wise<07760>(8800) set<07760>(8799) him king<04428> over thee, whom the LORD<03068> thy God<0430> shall choose<0977>(8799): one from among<07130> thy brethren<0251> shalt thou set<07760>(8799) king<04428> over thee: thou mayest<03201>(8799) not set<05414>(8800) a stranger<05237><0376> over thee, which is not thy brother<0251>.
16 只是<07535>王不可<03808>為自己<09001>加添<07235>(8686)馬匹<05483>，也不可<03808>使<0853>百姓<05971>回<07725>(8686)埃及<04714>去，為要<09001><04616>加添<07235>(8687)他的馬匹<05483>，因耶和華<03068>曾吩咐你們<09001>說<0559>(8804)：『不可<03808>再<03254>(8686)回<09001><07725>(8800)那<02088>條路<09002><01870>去{<05750>}。』
But he shall not multiply<07235>(8686) horses<05483> to himself, nor cause the people<05971> to return<07725>(8686) to Egypt<04714>, to the end that he should multiply<07235>(8687) horses<05483>: forasmuch as the LORD<03068> hath said<0559>(8804) unto you, Ye shall henceforth<03254>(8686) return<07725>(8800) no more that way<01870>.
17 他也不可<03808>為自己<09001>多立<07235>(8686)妃嬪<0802>，恐怕<03808>他的心<03824>偏<05493>(8799)邪；也不可<03808>為自己<09001>多<03966>積<07235>(8686)金<02091>銀<03701>。
Neither shall he multiply<07235>(8686) wives<0802> to himself, that his heart<03824> turn<05493>(8799) not away: neither shall he greatly<03966> multiply<07235>(8686) to himself silver<03701> and gold<02091>.
18 {<01961>}{(8804)}他登了<09003><03427>(8800){<05921>}國<04467>位<03678>，就要將<0853>祭司<03548>利未人<03881>面前<04480><09001><06440>的這<02063>律法<08451>書<05612>，為自己<09001>抄錄<03789>(8804){<05921>}一本<04932>，
And it shall be, when he sitteth<03427>(8800) upon the throne<03678> of his kingdom<04467>, that he shall write<03789>(8804) him a copy<04932> of this law<08451> in a book<05612> out of that which is before<06440> the priests<03548> the Levites<03881>:
19 存<01961>(8804)在他那裡<05973>，要平<03605><03117>生<02416>誦讀<07121>(8804){<09002>}，好<09001><04616>學習<03925>(8799)敬畏<09001><03372>(8800){<0853>}耶和華<03068>─他的　神<0430>，謹守<09001><08104>(8800)遵行<09001><06213>(8800){<0853>}這<02063>律法<08451>書上的一切<03605>言語<01697>和這些<0428>律例<02706>，
And it shall be with him, and he shall read<07121>(8804) therein all the days<03117> of his life<02416>: that he may learn<03925>(8799) to fear<03372>(8800) the LORD<03068> his God<0430>, to keep<08104>(8800) all the words<01697> of this law<08451> and these statutes<02706>, to do<06213>(8800) them:
20 免得<09001><01115>他向弟兄<04480><0251>心<03824>高<07311>(8800)氣傲，偏左<08040>偏右<03225>，{<09001>}{<01115>}離了<05493>(8800){<04480>}這誡命<04687>。這樣<09001><04616>，他<01931>和他的子孫<01121>便可在以色列<03478>中<09001><07130>，在<05921>國位<04467>上年長<0748>(8686)日<03117>久。」
That his heart<03824> be not lifted up<07311>(8800) above his brethren<0251>, and that he turn not aside<05493>(8800) from the commandment<04687>, to the right hand<03225>, or to the left<08040>: to the end that he may prolong<0748>(8686) his days<03117> in his kingdom<04467>, he, and his children<01121>, in the midst<07130> of Israel<03478>.
