2:1 「此後，我們轉回<06437>(8799)，從紅<05488>海<03220>的路<01870>往曠野<04057>去<05265>(8799)，是照<09003><0834>耶和華<03068>所吩咐<01696>(8765)我<0413>的。我們在<0853>西珥<08165>山<02022>繞行了<05437>(8799)許多<07227>日子<03117>。
Then we turned<06437>(8799), and took our journey<05265>(8799) into the wilderness<04057> by the way<01870> of the Red<05488> sea<03220>, as the LORD<03068> spake<01696>(8765) unto me: and we compassed<05437>(8799) mount<02022> Seir<08165> many<07227> days<03117>.
2:2 耶和華<03068>{<0559>}{(8799)}對我<0413>說<09001><0559>(8800)：
And the LORD<03068> spake<0559>(8799) unto me, saying<0559>(8800),
2:3 『你們<09001>繞行<05437>(8800){<0853>}這<02088>山<02022>的日子夠了<07227>，要轉向<06437>(8798){<09001>}北<06828>去。
Ye have compassed<05437>(8800) this mountain<02022> long enough<07227>: turn<06437>(8798) you northward<06828>.
2:4 你吩咐<06680>(8761){<0853>}百姓<05971>說<09001><0559>(8800)：你們弟兄<0251>以掃<06215>的子孫<01121>住<03427>(8802)在西珥<09002><08165>，你們<0859>要經過<05674>(8802)他們的境界<09002><01366>。他們必懼怕<03372>(8799)你們<04480>，所以你們要分外<03966>謹慎<08104>(8738)。
And command<06680>(8761) thou the people<05971>, saying<0559>(8800), Ye are to pass<05674>(8802) through the coast<01366> of your brethren<0251> the children<01121> of Esau<06215>, which dwell<03427>(8802) in Seir<08165>; and they shall be afraid<03372>(8799) of you: take ye good<03966> heed<08104>(8738) unto yourselves therefore:
2:5 不可<0408>與他們<09002>爭戰<01624>(8691)；{<03588>}他們的地<04480><0776>，連<05704>腳<07272>掌<03709>可踏之處<04096>，我都不<03808>給<05414>(8799)你們<09001>，因<03588>我已將<0853>西珥<08165>山<02022>賜<05414>(8804)給以掃<09001><06215>為業<03425>。
Meddle<01624>(8691) not with them; for I will not give<05414>(8799) you of their land<0776>, no, not so much as a foot<07272> breadth<04096><03709>; because I have given<05414>(8804) mount<02022> Seir<08165> unto Esau<06215> for a possession<03425>. {no...: Heb. even to the treading of the sole of the foot}
2:6 你們要用錢<09002><03701>向他們<04480><0854>買<07666>(8799)糧<0400>吃<0398>(8804)，也<01571>要用錢<09002><03701>向他們<04480>買<03739>(8799)水<04325>喝<08354>(8804)。
Ye shall buy<07666>(8799) meat<0400> of them for money<03701>, that ye may eat<0398>(8804); and ye shall also buy<03739>(8799) water<04325> of them for money<03701>, that ye may drink<08354>(8804).
2:7 因為<03588>耶和華<03068>─你的　神<0430>在你手<03027>裡所辦的一切<09002><03605>事<04639>上已賜福與你<01288>(8765)。你走<03212>(8800){<0853>}這<02088>大<01419>曠野<04057>，他都知道了<03045>(8804)。這<02088>四十<0705>年<08141>，耶和華<03068>─你的　神<0430>常與你同在<05973>，故此你一{<01697>}無<03808>所缺<02637>(8804)。』
For the LORD<03068> thy God<0430> hath blessed<01288>(8765) thee in all the works<04639> of thy hand<03027>: he knoweth<03045>(8804) thy walking<03212>(8800) through this great<01419> wilderness<04057>: these forty<0705> years<08141> the LORD<03068> thy God<0430> hath been with thee; thou hast lacked<02637>(8804) nothing<01697>.
2:8 「於是，我們離了<05674>(8799){<04480>}{<0854>}我們弟兄<0251>以掃<06215>子孫<01121>所住<03427>(8802)的西珥<09002><08165>，從亞拉巴<06160>的路<04480><01870>，經過<05674>(8799)以拉他<04480><0359>、以旬‧迦別<04480><06100>，轉向<06437>(8799)摩押<04124>曠野<04057>的路<01870>去。
And when we passed<05674>(8799) by from our brethren<0251> the children<01121> of Esau<06215>, which dwelt<03427>(8802) in Seir<08165>, through the way<01870> of the plain<06160> from Elath<0359>, and from Eziongaber<06100>, we turned<06437>(8799) and passed<05674>(8799) by the way<01870> of the wilderness<04057> of Moab<04124>.
2:9 耶和華<03068>吩咐我<0413>說<0559>(8799)：『不可<0408>擾害<06696>(8799){<0853>}摩押人<04124>，也不可<0408>與他們<09002>爭<01624>(8691)戰<04421>。{<03588>}他們的地<04480><0776>，我不<03808>賜<05414>(8799)給你<09001>為業<03425>，因<03588>我已將<0853>亞珥<06144>賜<05414>(8804)給<09001>羅得<03876>的子孫<09001><01121>為業<03425>。』
And the LORD<03068> said<0559>(8799) unto me, Distress<06696>(8799) not the Moabites<04124>, neither contend<01624>(8691) with them in battle<04421>: for I will not give<05414>(8799) thee of their land<0776> for a possession<03425>; because I have given<05414>(8804) Ar<06144> unto the children<01121> of Lot<03876> for a possession<03425>. {Distress...: or, Use no hostility against Moab}
2:10 （先前<09001><06440>，有以米人<0368>住<03427>(8804)在那裡<09002>，民<05971>數眾多<07227>，身體高<07311>(8802)大<01419>，像亞衲人一樣<09003><06062>。
The Emims<0368> dwelt<03427>(8804) therein in times past<06440>, a people<05971> great<01419>, and many<07227>, and tall<07311>(8802), as the Anakims<06062>;
2:11 這以米人<01992>像亞衲人<09003><06062>；也<0637>算為<02803>(8735)利乏音人<07497>；摩押人<04125>稱<07121>(8799)他們<09001>為以米人<0368>。
Which<01992> also were accounted<02803>(8735) giants<07497>, as the Anakims<06062>; but the Moabites<04125> call<07121>(8799) them Emims<0368>.

The Horims<02752> also dwelt<03427>(8804) in Seir<08165> beforetime<06440>; but the children<01121> of Esau<06215> succeeded<03423>(8799) them, when they had destroyed<08045>(8686) them from before<06440> them, and dwelt<03427>(8799) in their stead; as Israel<03478> did<06213>(8804) unto the land<0776> of his possession<03425>, which the LORD<03068> gave<05414>(8804) unto them. {succeeded: Heb. inherited} {stead: or, room}
2:13 現在<06258>，起來<06965>(8798)過<05674>(8798){<09001>}{<0853>}撒烈<02218>溪<05158>！於是我們過了<05674>(8799){<0853>}撒烈<02218>溪<05158>。
Now rise up<06965>(8798), said I , and get you over<05674>(8798) the brook<05158> Zered<02218>. And we went over<05674>(8799) the brook<05158> Zered<02218>. {brook: or, valley}

2:15 耶和華<03068>的手<03027>也<01571>攻擊{<01961>}{(8804)}他們<09002>，將他們從營<04264>中<04480><07130>除滅<09001><02000>(8800)，直到<05704>滅盡<08552>(8800)。
For indeed the hand<03027> of the LORD<03068> was against them, to destroy<02000>(8800) them from among<07130> the host<04264>, until they were consumed<08552>(8800).
2:16 「{<01961>}{(08799)}{<09003>}{<0834>}兵<04421>丁<0582>從民<05971>中<04480><07130>都<03605>滅盡<08552>(8804)死亡<09001><04191>(8800)以後，
So it came to pass, when all the men<0582> of war<04421> were consumed<08552>(8804) and dead<04191>(8800) from among<07130> the people<05971>,
2:17 耶和華<03068>吩咐<01696>(8762)我<0413>說<09001><0559>(8800)：
That the LORD<03068> spake<01696>(8762) unto me, saying<0559>(8800),
2:18 『你<0859>今天<03117>要從<0853>摩押<04124>的境界<01366>{<0853>}亞珥<06144>經過<05674>(8802)，
Thou art to pass over<05674>(8802) through Ar<06144>, the coast<01366> of Moab<04124>, this day<03117>:
2:19 走近<07126>(8804){<04136>}亞捫<05983>人<01121>之地，不可<0408>擾害他們<06696>(8799)，也不可<0408>與他們<09002>爭戰<01624>(8691)。{<03588>}亞捫<05983>人<01121>的地<04480><0776>，我不<03808>賜<05414>(8799)給你們<09001>為業<03425>，因<03588>我已將那地賜<05414>(8804)給羅得<03876>的子孫<09001><01121>為業<03425>。』
And when thou comest nigh<07126>(8804) over against<04136> the children<01121> of Ammon<05983>, distress<06696>(8799) them not, nor meddle<01624>(8691) with them: for I will not give<05414>(8799) thee of the land<0776> of the children<01121> of Ammon<05983> any possession<03425>; because I have given<05414>(8804) it unto the children<01121> of Lot<03876> for a possession<03425>.
2:20 （那地<01931>也<0637>算為<02803>(8735)利乏音人<07497>之地<0776>，先前<09001><06440>利乏音人<07497>住<03427>(8804)在那裡<09002>，亞捫人<05984>稱<07121>(8799)他們<09001>為散送冥<02157>。
(That also was accounted<02803>(8735) a land<0776> of giants<07497>: giants<07497> dwelt<03427>(8804) therein in old time<06440>; and the Ammonites<05984> call<07121>(8799) them Zamzummims<02157>; {Zamzummims: also called, Zuzims}
2:21 那民<05971>眾多<07227>，身體高<07311>(8802)大<01419>，像亞衲人一樣<09003><06062>，但耶和華<03068>從亞捫人面前<04480><06440>除滅他們<08045>(8686)，亞捫人就得了他們的地<03423>(8799)，接著<08478>居住<03427>(8799)。
A people<05971> great<01419>, and many<07227>, and tall<07311>(8802), as the Anakims<06062>; but the LORD<03068> destroyed<08045>(8686) them before<06440> them; and they succeeded<03423>(8799) them, and dwelt<03427>(8799) in their stead:
2:22 正如<09003><0834>耶和華<03068>從前為<06213>(8804)住<03427>(8802)西珥<09002><08165>的以掃<06215>子孫<09001><01121>{<0834>}將<0853>何利人<02752>從他們面前<04480><06440>除滅<08045>(8689)、他們得了何利人的地<03423>(8799)、接著<08478>居住<03427>(8799)一樣，直到<05704>今<02088>日<03117>。
As he did<06213>(8804) to the children<01121> of Esau<06215>, which dwelt<03427>(8802) in Seir<08165>, when he destroyed<08045>(8689) the Horims<02752> from before<06440> them; and they succeeded<03423>(8799) them, and dwelt<03427>(8799) in their stead even unto this day<03117>:
2:23 從迦斐託<04480><03731>出來<03318>(8802)的迦斐託人<03732>將先前住<03427>(8802)在鄉村<09002><02699>直到<05704>迦薩<05804>的亞衛人<05761>除滅<08045>(8689)，接著<08478>居住<03427>(8799)。）
And the Avims<05761> which dwelt<03427>(8802) in Hazerim<02699>, even unto Azzah<05804>, the Caphtorims<03732>, which came forth<03318>(8802) out of Caphtor<03731>, destroyed<08045>(8689) them, and dwelt<03427>(8799) in their stead.)
2:24 你們起來<06965>(8798)前往<05265>(8798)，過<05674>(8798){<0853>}亞嫩<0769>谷<05158>；{<07200>}{(8798)}我已將<0853>亞摩利人<0567>希實本<02809>王<04428>西宏<05511>和<0853>他的地<0776>交<05414>(8804)在你手中<09002><03027>，你要{<02490>}{(8685)}與他<09002>爭<01624>(8690)戰<04421>，得他的地為業<03423>(8798)。
Rise ye up<06965>(8798), take your journey<05265>(8798), and pass over<05674>(8798) the river<05158> Arnon<0769>: behold<07200>(8798), I have given<05414>(8804) into thine hand<03027> Sihon<05511> the Amorite<0567>, king<04428> of Heshbon<02809>, and his land<0776>: begin<02490>(8685) to possess<03423>(8798) it , and contend<01624>(8690) with him in battle<04421>. {begin...: Heb. begin, possess}
2:25 從今<02088>日<03117>起<02490>(8686)，我要使<05414>(8800){<05921>}{<06440>}天<08064>下<08478>萬民<05971>{<0834>}聽見<08085>(8799)你的名聲<08088>都<03605>驚恐<06343>懼怕<03374>，且因你<04480><06440>發顫<07264>(8804)傷慟<02342>(8804)。」
This day<03117> will I begin<02490>(8686) to put<05414>(8800) the dread<06343> of thee and the fear<03374> of thee upon the nations<06440><05971> that are under the whole heaven<08064>, who shall hear<08085>(8799) report<08088> of thee, and shall tremble<07264>(8804), and be in anguish<02342>(8804) because of thee<06440>.
2:26 「我從基底莫<06932>的曠野<04480><04057>差遣<07971>(8799)使者<04397>去見<0413>希實本<02809>王<04428>西宏<05511>，用和睦<07965>的話<01697>說<09001><0559>(8800)：
And I sent<07971>(8799) messengers<04397> out of the wilderness<04057> of Kedemoth<06932> unto Sihon<05511> king<04428> of Heshbon<02809> with words<01697> of peace<07965>, saying<0559>(8800),
2:27 『求你容我從你的地<09002><0776>經過<05674>(8799)，只走<03212>(8799)大道<09002><01870><09002><01870>，不<03808>偏<05493>(8799)左<08040>右<03225>。
Let me pass<05674>(8799) through thy land<0776>: I will go<03212>(8799) along by the high way<01870><01870>, I will neither turn<05493>(8799) unto the right hand<03225> nor to the left<08040>.
2:28 你可以{<09002>}{<03701>}賣<07666>(8686)糧<0400>給我吃<0398>(8804)，也可以{<09002>}{<03701>}賣<05414>(8799)水<04325>給我<09001>喝<08354>(8804)，只要<07535>容我步行<09002><07272>過去<05674>(8799)，
Thou shalt sell<07666>(8686) me meat<0400> for money<03701>, that I may eat<0398>(8804); and give<05414>(8799) me water<04325> for money<03701>, that I may drink<08354>(8804): only I will pass through<05674>(8799) on my feet<07272>;
2:29 就如<09003><0834>住<03427>(8802)西珥<09002><08165>的以掃<06215>子孫<01121>和住<03427>(8802)亞珥<09002><06144>的摩押人<04125>待<06213>(8804)我<09001>一樣，等<05704>{<0834>}我過了<05674>(8799)約旦河{<0853>}<03383>，好進入<0413>耶和華<03068>─我們　神<0430>所<0834>賜<05414>(8802)給我們<09001>的地<0776>。』
(As the children<01121> of Esau<06215> which dwell<03427>(8802) in Seir<08165>, and the Moabites<04125> which dwell<03427>(8802) in Ar<06144>, did<06213>(8804) unto me;) until I shall pass over<05674>(8799) Jordan<03383> into the land<0776> which the LORD<03068> our God<0430> giveth<05414>(8802) us.
2:30 但希實本<02809>王<04428>西宏<05511>不<03808>容<014>(8804)我們從他那裡<09002>經過<05674>(8687)；因為<03588>耶和華<03068>─你的　神<0430>使{<0853>}他心中<07307>剛硬<07185>(8689)，{<0853>}性情<03824>頑梗<0553>(8765)，為要<09001><04616>將他交<05414>(8800)在你手中<09002><03027>，像今<02088>日<09003><03117>一樣。
But Sihon<05511> king<04428> of Heshbon<02809> would<014>(8804) not let us pass<05674>(8687) by him: for the LORD<03068> thy God<0430> hardened<07185>(8689) his spirit<07307>, and made his heart<03824> obstinate<0553>(8765), that he might deliver<05414>(8800) him into thy hand<03027>, as appeareth this day<03117>.
2:31 耶和華<03068>對我<0413>說<0559>(8799)：『{<07200>}{(8798)}從此起首<02490>(8689)，我要將<0853>西宏<05511>和<0853>他的地<0776>交<05414>(8800)給你<09001><06440>；你要{<02490>}{(8685)}得<03423>(8798){<0853>}他的地<0776>為業<09001><03423>(8800)。』
And the LORD<03068> said<0559>(8799) unto me, Behold<07200>(8798), I have begun<02490>(8689) to give<05414>(8800) Sihon<05511> and his land<0776> before<06440> thee: begin<02490>(8685) to possess<03423>(8798), that thou mayest inherit<03423>(8800) his land<0776>.
2:32 那時，西宏<05511>{<01931>}和他的眾<03605>民<05971>出來<03318>(8799)攻擊我們<09001><07125>(8800)，在雅雜<03096>與我們交戰<09001><04421>。
Then Sihon<05511> came out<03318>(8799) against<07125>(8800) us, he and all his people<05971>, to fight<04421> at Jahaz<03096>.
2:33 耶和華<03068>─我們的　神<0430>將他交<05414>(8799)給我們<09001><06440>，我們就把他<00853>和<0853>他的兒子<01121>，並<0853>他的眾<03605>民<05971>，都擊殺了<05221>(8686)。
And the LORD<03068> our God<0430> delivered<05414>(8799) him before<06440> us; and we smote<05221>(8686) him, and his sons<01121>, and all his people<05971>.
2:34 我們奪了<03920>(8799){<0853>}他的一切<03605>城邑<05892>{<09002>}{<06256>}{<01931>}，將<0853>有人煙<04962>的各<03605>城<05892>，連女人<0802>帶孩子<02945>，盡都毀滅<02763>(8686)，沒有<03808>留下<07604>(8689)一個<08300>。
And we took<03920>(8799) all his cities<05892> at that time<06256>, and utterly destroyed<02763>(8686) the men<04962>, and the women<0802>, and the little ones<02945>, of every city<05892>, we left<07604>(8689) none to remain<08300>: {the men...: Heb. every city of men, and women, and little ones}
2:35 惟有<07535>牲畜<0929>和所<0834>奪<03920>(8804)的各城<05892>，並其中的財物<07998>，都取為自己<09001>的掠物<0962>(8804)。
Only the cattle<0929> we took for a prey<0962>(8804) unto ourselves, and the spoil<07998> of the cities<05892> which we took<03920>(8804).
2:36 從亞嫩<0769>{<0834>}{<05921>}谷<05158>邊<08193>的亞羅珥<04480><06177>和谷<09002><05158>中的{<0834>}城<05892>，直到<05704>基列<01568>，耶和華<03068>─我們的　神<0430>{<0853>}都<03605>交<05414>(8804)給我們<09001><06440>了，沒<03808>有<01961>(8804)一座城<07151>{<0834>}高得<07682>(8804)使我們不能<04480>攻取的。
From Aroer<06177>, which is by the brink<08193> of the river<05158> of Arnon<0769>, and from the city<05892> that is by the river<05158>, even unto Gilead<01568>, there was not one city<07151> too strong<07682>(8804) for us: the LORD<03068> our God<0430> delivered<05414>(8804) all unto us<06440>:
2:37 惟<07535>有{<0413>}亞捫<05983>人<01121>之地<0776>，凡<03605>靠近<03027>雅博<02999>河<05158>的地，並山地<02022>的城邑<05892>，與耶和華<03068>─我們　神<0430>所<0834>禁止<06680>(8765)我們去的地方，都<03605>沒有<03808>挨近<07126>(8804)。」
Only unto the land<0776> of the children<01121> of Ammon<05983> thou camest<07126>(8804) not, nor unto any place<03027> of the river<05158> Jabbok<02999>, nor unto the cities<05892> in the mountains<02022>, nor unto whatsoever the LORD<03068> our God<0430> forbad<06680>(8765) us.
