23:1 巴蘭<01109>對<0413>巴勒<01111>說<0559>(8799)：「你在這裡<09002><02088>給我<09001>築<01129>(8798)七<07651>座壇<04196>，為我<09001>預備<03559>(8685){<09002>}{<02088>}七<07651>隻公牛<06499>，七<07651>隻公羊<0352>。」
And Balaam<01109> said<0559>(8799) unto Balak<01111>, Build<01129>(8798) me here seven<07651> altars<04196>, and prepare<03559>(8685) me here seven<07651> oxen<06499> and seven<07651> rams<0352>.
23:2 巴勒<01111>照<09003><0834>巴蘭<01109>的話<01696>(8765)行了<06213>(8799)。巴勒<01111>和巴蘭<01109>在每座壇上<09002><04196>獻<05927>(8686)一隻公牛<06499>，一隻公羊<0352>。
And Balak<01111> did<06213>(8799) as Balaam<01109> had spoken<01696>(8765); and Balak<01111> and Balaam<01109> offered<05927>(8686) on every altar<04196> a bullock<06499> and a ram<0352>.
23:3 巴蘭<01109>對巴勒<09001><01111>說<0559>(8799)：「你站<03320>(8690)在<05921>你的燔祭<05930>旁邊，我且往前去<03212>(8799)，或者<0194>耶和華<03068>來<07136>(8735)迎見我<09001><07125>(8800)。他指示我<07200>(8686)甚麼<04100><01697>，我必告訴<05046>(8689)你<09001>。」於是巴蘭上<03212>(8799)一淨光的高處<08205>。
And Balaam<01109> said<0559>(8799) unto Balak<01111>, Stand<03320>(8690) by thy burnt offering<05930>, and I will go<03212>(8799): peradventure the LORD<03068> will come<07136>(8735) to meet<07125>(8800) me: and whatsoever<01697> he sheweth<07200>(8686) me I will tell<05046>(8689) thee. 23:4 神<0430>迎見<07136>(8735){<0413>}巴蘭<01109>；巴蘭說<0559>(8799){<0413>}：「我預備了<06186>(8804){<0853>}七<07651>座壇<04196>，在每座壇上<09002><04196>獻了<05927>(8686)一隻公牛<06499>，一隻公羊<0352>。」
And God<0430> met<07136>(8735) Balaam<01109>: and he said<0559>(8799) unto him, I have prepared<06186>(8804) seven<07651> altars<04196>, and I have offered<05927>(8686) upon every altar<04196> a bullock<06499> and a ram<0352>.
23:5 耶和華<03068>將話<01697>傳<07760>(8799)給{<09002>}{<06310>}巴蘭<01109>，又說<0559>(8799)：「你回<07725>(8798)到<0413>巴勒<01111>那裡，要如此如此<03541>說<01696>(8762)。」
And the LORD<03068> put<07760>(8799) a word<01697> in Balaam's<01109> mouth<06310>, and said<0559>(8799), Return<07725>(8798) unto Balak<01111>, and thus thou shalt speak<01696>(8762).
23:6 他就回<07725>(8799)到<0413>巴勒那裡，見<02009>他<01931>同摩押<04124>的使臣<08269>都<03605>站<05324>(8737)在<05921>燔祭<05930>旁邊。
And he returned<07725>(8799) unto him, and, lo, he stood<05324>(8737) by his burnt sacrifice<05930>, he, and all the princes<08269> of Moab<04124>.
23:7 巴蘭便題起<05375>(8799)詩歌<04912>說<0559>(8799)：巴勒<01111>引<05148>(8686)我出<04480>亞蘭<0758>，摩押<04124>王<04428>引我出東<06924>山<04480><02042>，說：來啊<03212>(8798)，為我<09001>咒詛<0779>(8798)雅各<03290>；來啊<03212>(8798)，怒罵<02194>(8798)以色列<03478>。
And he took up<05375>(8799) his parable<04912>, and said<0559>(8799), Balak<01111> the king<04428> of Moab<04124> hath brought<05148>(8686) me from Aram<0758>, out of the mountains<02042> of the east<06924>, saying , Come<03212>(8798), curse<0779>(8798) me Jacob<03290>, and come<03212>(8798), defy<02194>(8798) Israel<03478>.
23:8 神<0410>沒有<03808>咒詛的<06895>(8804)，我焉能<04100>咒詛<05344>(8799)？耶和華<03068>沒有<03808>怒罵的<02194>(8804)，我焉能<04100>怒罵<02194>(8799)？
How<04100> shall I curse<05344>(8799), whom God<0410> hath not cursed<06895>(8804)? or how shall I defy<02194>(8799), whom the LORD<03068> hath not defied<02194>(8804)?
23:9 {<03588>}我從高<04480><07218>峰<06697>看他<07200>(8799)，從小山<04480><01389>望他<07789>(8799)；{<02005>}這是獨<09001><0910>居<07931>(8799)的民<05971>，不<03808>列<02803>(8691)在萬民中<09002><01471>。
For from the top<07218> of the rocks<06697> I see<07200>(8799) him, and from the hills<01389> I behold<07789>(8799) him: lo, the people<05971> shall dwell<07931>(8799) alone<0910>, and shall not be reckoned<02803>(8691) among the nations<01471>.
23:10 誰<04310>能數點<04487>(8804)雅各<03290>的塵土<06083>？誰能計算<04557>{<0853>}以色列<03478>的四分之一<07255>？我<05315>願如義人<03477>之死<04194>而死<04191>(8799)；我願<01961>(8799)如義人之<03644>終而終<0319>。
Who can count<04487>(8804) the dust<06083> of Jacob<03290>, and the number<04557> of the fourth<07255> part of Israel<03478>? Let me die<04191>(8799)<05315> the death<04194> of the righteous<03477>, and let my last<0319> end be like his! {me: Heb. my soul, or, my life}
23:11 巴勒<01111>對<0413>巴蘭<01109>說<0559>(8799)：「你向我<09001>做的<06213>(8804)是甚麼<04100>事呢？我領你<03947>(8804)來咒詛<09001><06895>(8800)我的仇敵<0341>(8802)，不料<02009>，你竟為他們祝福<01288>(8765){<01288>}{(8763)}。」
And Balak<01111> said<0559>(8799) unto Balaam<01109>, What hast thou done<06213>(8804) unto me? I took<03947>(8804) thee to curse<06895>(8800) mine enemies<0341>(8802), and, behold, thou hast blessed<01288>(8765) them altogether<01288>(8763).
23:12 他回答<06030>(8799)說<0559>(8799)：「耶和華<03068>傳<07760>(8799)給我的話<09002><06310>，{<0853>}我能不<03808>{<0853>}{<0834>}謹慎<08104>(8799)傳說<09001><01696>(8763)嗎？」
And he answered<06030>(8799) and said<0559>(8799), Must I not take heed<08104>(8799) to speak<01696>(8763) that which the LORD<03068> hath put<07760>(8799) in my mouth<06310>?
23:13 巴勒<01111>說<0559>(8799){<0413>}：「求<04994>你同我<0854>往<0413>別<0312>處<04725>去<03212>(8798)，{<0834>}在那裡<04480><08033>可以看見他們<07200>(8799)；你不能<03808>全<03605>看見<07200>(8799)，只能<0657>看見<07200>(8799)他們邊界<07097>上的人。在那裡<04480><08033>要為我<09001>咒詛他們<06895>(8798)。」
And Balak<01111> said<0559>(8799) unto him, Come<03212>(8798), I pray thee, with me unto another<0312> place<04725>, from whence thou mayest see<07200>(8799) them: thou shalt see<07200>(8799) but<0657> the utmost<07097> part of them, and shalt not see<07200>(8799) them all: and curse<06895>(8798) me them from thence.
23:14 於是領<03947>(8799)巴蘭到了瑣腓<06839>(8677)<06822>(8802)田<07704>，上了<0413>毘斯迦<06449>山頂<07218>，築了<01129>(8799)七<07651>座壇<04196>；每座壇上<09002><04196>獻<05927>(8686)一隻公牛<06499>，一隻公羊<0352>。
And he brought<03947>(8799) him into the field<07704> of Zophim<06839>(8677)<06822>(8802), to the top<07218> of Pisgah<06449>, and built<01129>(8799) seven<07651> altars<04196>, and offered<05927>(8686) a bullock<06499> and a ram<0352> on every altar<04196>. {Pisgah: or, the hill}
23:15 巴蘭對<0413>巴勒<01111>說<0559>(8799)：「你站<03320>(8690)在<05921>這<03541>燔祭<05930>旁邊，等我<0595>往那邊<03541>去迎見<07136>(8735)耶和華。」
And he said<0559>(8799) unto Balak<01111>, Stand<03320>(8690) here<03541> by thy burnt offering<05930>, while I meet<07136>(8735) the LORD yonder<03541>.
23:16 耶和華<03068>臨<07136>(8735)到<0413>巴蘭<01109>那裡，將話<01697>傳<07760>(8799)給他<09002><06310>；又說<0559>(8799)：「你回<07725>(8798)到<0413>巴勒<01111>那裡，要如此如此<03541>說<01696>(8762)。」
And the LORD<03068> met<07136>(8735) Balaam<01109>, and put<07760>(8799) a word<01697> in his mouth<06310>, and said<0559>(8799), Go again<07725>(8798) unto Balak<01111>, and say<01696>(8762) thus.
23:17 他就回<0935>(8799)到<0413>巴勒那裡，見他<02009>站<05324>(8737)在<05921>燔祭<05930>旁邊；摩押<04124>的使臣<08269>也和他<0854>在一處。巴勒<01111>問他<09001>說<0559>(8799)：「耶和華<03068>說了<01696>(8765)甚麼<04100>話呢？」
And when he came<0935>(8799) to him, behold, he stood<05324>(8737) by his burnt offering<05930>, and the princes<08269> of Moab<04124> with him. And Balak<01111> said<0559>(8799) unto him, What hath the LORD<03068> spoken<01696>(8765)?
23:18 巴蘭就題<05375>(8799)詩歌<04912>說<0559>(8799)：巴勒<01111>，你起來<06965>(8798)聽<08085>(8798)；西撥<06834>的兒子<01121>，你聽<0238>(8685)我言<05704>。
And he took up<05375>(8799) his parable<04912>, and said<0559>(8799), Rise up<06965>(8798), Balak<01111>, and hear<08085>(8798); hearken<0238>(8685) unto me, thou son<01121> of Zippor<06834>:
23:19 神<0410>非<03808>人<0376>，必不致說謊<03576>(8762)，也非人<0120>子<01121>，必不致後悔<05162>(8691)。他<01931>說話<0559>(8804)豈不<03808>照著行<06213>(8799)呢？他發言<01696>(8765)豈不<03808>要成就<06965>(8686)呢？
God<0410> is not a man<0376>, that he should lie<03576>(8762); neither the son<01121> of man<0120>, that he should repent<05162>(8691): hath he said<0559>(8804), and shall he not do<06213>(8799) it ? or hath he spoken<01696>(8765), and shall he not make it good<06965>(8686)?
23:20 {<02009>}我奉命<03947>(8804)祝福<01288>(8763)；神也曾賜福<01288>(8765)，此事我不能<03808>翻轉<07725>(8686)。
Behold, I have received<03947>(8804) commandment to bless<01288>(8763): and he hath blessed<01288>(8765); and I cannot reverse<07725>(8686) it.
23:21 他未<03808>見<05027>(8689)雅各<09002><03290>中有罪孽<0205>，也未<03808>見<07200>(8804)以色列<09002><03478>中有奸惡<05999>。耶和華<03068>─他的神<0430>和他同在<05973>；有歡呼<08643>王<04428>的聲音在他們中間<09002>。
He hath not beheld<05027>(8689) iniquity<0205> in Jacob<03290>, neither hath he seen<07200>(8804) perverseness<05999> in Israel<03478>: the LORD<03068> his God<0430> is with him, and the shout<08643> of a king<04428> is among them.
23:22 神<0410>領他們<03318>(8688)出埃及<04480><04714>；他們<09001>似乎有野牛<07214>之力<09003><08443>。
God<0410> brought them out<03318>(8688) of Egypt<04714>; he hath as it were the strength<08443> of an unicorn<07214>.
23:23 斷<03588>沒有<03808>法術<05173>可以害雅各<09002><03290>，也沒有<03808>占卜<07081>可以害以色列<09002><03478>。現在<09003><06256>必有人論及雅各<09001><03290>，就是論及以色列<09001><03478>說<0559>(8735)：神<0410>為他行了<06466>(8804)何等<04100>的大事！
Surely there is no enchantment<05173> against Jacob<03290>, neither is there any divination<07081> against Israel<03478>: according to this time<06256> it shall be said<0559>(8735) of Jacob<03290> and of Israel<03478>, What hath God<0410> wrought<06466>(8804)! {against: or, in}
23:24 {<02005>}這民<05971>起來<06965>(8799)，彷彿母獅<09003><03833>，挺身<05375>(8691)，好像公獅<09003><0738>，未曾<05704>吃<0398>(8799)野食<02964>，未曾喝<08354>(8799)被傷者<02491>之血<01818>，決不<03808>躺臥<07901>(8799)。
Behold, the people<05971> shall rise up<06965>(8799) as a great lion<03833>, and lift up<05375>(8691) himself as a young lion<0738>: he shall not lie down<07901>(8799) until he eat<0398>(8799) of the prey<02964>, and drink<08354>(8799) the blood<01818> of the slain<02491>.
23:25 巴勒<01111>對<0413>巴蘭<01109>說<0559>(8799)：「你一點{<01571>}{<06895>}{(8800)}不要<03808>咒詛<05344>(8799)他們，也<01571>不要<03808>為他們祝福<01288>(8762){<01288>}{(8763)}。」
And Balak<01111> said<0559>(8799) unto Balaam<01109>, Neither curse<05344>(8799) them at all<06895>(8800), nor bless<01288>(8762) them at all<01288>(8763).
23:26 巴蘭<01109>回答<06030>(8799){<0413>}巴勒<01111>說<0559>(8799)：「我豈不是<03808>告訴<01696>(8765)你<0413>說<09001><0559>(8800)『凡<03605>耶和華<03068>所<0834>說的<01696>(8762)，{<0853>}我必須遵行<06213>(8799)』嗎？」
But Balaam<01109> answered<06030>(8799) and said<0559>(8799) unto Balak<01111>, Told<01696>(8765) not I thee, saying<0559>(8800), All that the LORD<03068> speaketh<01696>(8762), that I must do<06213>(8799)?
23:27 巴勒<01111>對<0413>巴蘭<01109>說<0559>(8799)：「{<04994>}來吧<03212>(8798)，我領你<03947>(8799)往<0413>別<0312>處<04725>去，或者<0194>神<0430>喜歡<03474>(8799)<09002><05869>你在那裡<04480><08033>為我<09001>咒詛他們<06895>(8804)。」
And Balak<01111> said<0559>(8799) unto Balaam<01109>, Come<03212>(8798), I pray thee, I will bring<03947>(8799) thee unto another<0312> place<04725>; peradventure it will please<03474>(8799)<05869> God<0430> that thou mayest curse<06895>(8804) me them from thence.
23:28 巴勒<01111>就領<03947>(8799){<0853>}巴蘭<01109>到<05921>那下<06440>望<08259>(8737)曠野<03452>的毘珥<06465>山頂上<07218>。
And Balak<01111> brought<03947>(8799) Balaam<01109> unto the top<07218> of Peor<06465>, that looketh<08259>(8737) toward<06440> Jeshimon<03452>.
23:29 巴蘭<01109>對<0413>巴勒<01111>說<0559>(8799)：「你在這裡<09002><02088>為我<09001>築<01129>(8798)七<07651>座壇<04196>，又在這裡<09002><02088>為我<09001>預備<03559>(8685)七<07651>隻公牛<06499>，七<07651>隻公羊<0352>。」
And Balaam<01109> said<0559>(8799) unto Balak<01111>, Build<01129>(8798) me here seven<07651> altars<04196>, and prepare<03559>(8685) me here seven<07651> bullocks<06499> and seven<07651> rams<0352>.
