3:1 親愛的<27>弟兄啊，我現在<2235>寫<1125>(5719)給你們<4771>的{<3778>}是第二封<1208>信<1992>。{<1722>}{<3739>}這兩封都是{<1722>}提醒<5280>你們，激發<1326>(5719)你們<4771>誠實的<1506>心<1271>，
This<5026> second<1208> epistle<1992>, beloved<27>, I<1125><0> now<2235> write<1125>(5719) unto you<5213>; in<1722> both which<3739> I stir up<1326>(5719) your<5216> pure<1506> minds<1271> by way<1722> of remembrance<5280>:
3:2 叫你們記念<3403>(5683){<5259>}聖<40>先知<4396>預先<4280>(5772)所說的話<4487>和<2532>主<2962>{<2532>}救主<4990>的命令<1785>，就是使徒<652>所傳給你們<4771>的。
That ye may be mindful<3415>(5683) of the words<4487> which were spoken before<4280>(5772) by<5259> the holy<40> prophets<4396>, and<2532> of the commandment<1785> of us<2257> the apostles<652> of the Lord<2962> and<2532> Saviour<4990>:
3:3 {<3778>}第一<4413>要緊的，該知道<1097>(5723)在<1909>末<2078>世<2250>必有<2064>(5695){<3754>}好譏誚的人<1722><1701><1703>{<4198>}{(5740)}隨從<2596>{<846>}自己的<2398>私慾<1939>{<2532>}出來譏誚說<3004>(5723)：
Knowing<1097>(5723) this<5124> first<4412>, that<3754> there shall come<2064>(5695) in<1909> the last<2078> days<2250> scoffers<1703>, walking<4198>(5740) after<2596> their<846> own<2398> lusts<1939>,
3:4 「主{<846>}要降臨<3952>的應許<1860>{<1510>}{(5719)}在哪裡<4226>呢？因為<1063>從<575><3739>列祖<3962>睡了<2837>(5675)以來，萬物<3956>與{<575>}起初<746>創造<2937>的時候仍是<1265>(5719)一樣<3779>。」
And<2532> saying<3004>(5723), Where<4226> is<2076>(5748) the promise<1860> of his<846> coming<3952>? for<1063> since<575><3739> the fathers<3962> fell asleep<2837>(5681), all things<3956> continue<3779><1265>(5719) as they were from<575> the beginning<746> of the creation<2937>.
3:5 <1063><3778>他們<846>故意<2309>(5723)忘記<2990>(5719)，從太古<1597>，{<3754>}憑　神<2316>的命<3056>有了<1510>(5707)天<3772>，並<2532>從<1537>水<5204>而出<4921>(5761)、{<2532>}藉<1223>水<5204>而成的地<1093>。
For<1063> this<5124> they<846> willingly<2309>(5723) are ignorant of<2990>(5719), that<3754> by the word<3056> of God<2316> the heavens<3772> were<2258>(5713) of old<1597>, and<2532> the earth<1093> standing out<4921>(5761) of<1537> the water<5204> and<2532> in<1223> the water<5204>: {standing: Gr. consisting}
3:6 故<1223>此<3739>，當時的世界<2889>{<5119>}被水<5204>淹沒<2626>(5685)就消滅了<622>(5668)。
Whereby<1223><3739> the world<2889> that then was<5119>, being overflowed<2626>(5685) with water<5204>, perished<622>(5639):
3:7 但<1161>現在的<3568>天<3772>{<2532>}地<1093>還是<1510>(5719)憑著那<846>命<3056>存留<2343>(5772)，直留<5083>(5746)到<1519>不敬虔<765>之人<444>受審判<2920>{<2532>}遭沉淪<684>的日子<2250>，用火<4442>焚燒。
But<1161> the heavens<3772> and<2532> the earth<1093>, which are now<3568>, by the same<846> word<3056> are<1526>(5748) kept in store<2343>(5772), reserved<5083>(5746) unto fire<4442> against<1519> the day<2250> of judgment<2920> and<2532> perdition<684> of ungodly<765> men<444>.
3:8 {<1161>}親愛的<27>弟兄啊，有一件<1520>事<3778>你們<4771>不可<3361>忘記<2990>(5720)，就是<3754>主<2962>看<3844>一<1520>日<2250>如<5613>千<5507>年<2094>，{<2532>}千<5507>年<2094>如<5613>一<1520>日<2250>。
But<1161>, beloved<27>, be<2990><0> not<3361><5209> ignorant<2990>(5720) of this one<1520> thing<5124>, that<3754> one<3391> day<2250> is with<3844> the Lord<2962> as<5613> a thousand<5507> years<2094>, and<2532> a thousand<5507> years<2094> as<5613> one<3391> day<2250>.
3:9 主<2962>所應許<1860>的尚未成就，{<5613>}有人<5100>以為<2233>(5736)他是耽延<1022>，其實不是<3756>耽延<1019>(5719)，乃是<235>寬容<3114>(5719){<1519>}你們<4771>，不<3361>願<1014>(5740)有一人<5100>沉淪<622>(5670)，乃<235>願人人<3956>都{<5562>}{(5658)}{<1519>}悔改<3341>。
The Lord<2962> is<1019><0> not<3756> slack<1019>(5719) concerning his promise<1860>, as<5613> some men<5100> count<2233>(5736) slackness<1022>; but<235> is longsuffering<3114>(5719) to<1519> us-ward<2248>, not<3361> willing<1014>(5740) that any<5100> should perish<622>(5641), but<235> that all<3956> should come<5562>(5658) to<1519> repentance<3341>.
3:10 但<1161>主<2962>的日子<2250>要像<5613>賊<2812>來到<2240>(5692)一樣。{<1722>}{<3739>}那日，天<3772>必大有響聲<4500>廢去<3928>(5695)，{<1161>}有形質的<4747>都要被烈火<2741>(5746)銷化<3089>(5701)，地<1093>和<2532>{<2532>}其<846>上<1722>的物<2041>都要燒盡了{<2147>}{(5701)}。
But<1161> the day<2250> of the Lord<2962> will come<2240>(5692) as<5613> a thief<2812> in<1722> the night<3571>; in<1722> the which<3739> the heavens<3772> shall pass away<3928>(5695) with a great noise<4500>, and<1161> the elements<4747> shall melt<3089>(5701) with fervent heat<2741>(5746), the earth<1093> also<2532> and<2532> the works<2041> that are therein<1722><846> shall be burned up<2618>(5691).
3:11 這<3778>一切<3956>既然都要如此<3779>銷化<3089>(5746)，{<1722>}你們<4771>{<5225>}{(5721)}為人<391>該當<1163>(5719)怎樣<4217>聖潔<40>，{<2532>}怎樣敬虔<2150>，
Seeing then<3767> that all<3956> these things<5130> shall be dissolved<3089>(5746), what manner<4217> of persons ought<1163>(5748) ye<5209> to be<5225>(5721) in<1722> all holy<40> conversation<391> and<2532> godliness<2150>,
3:12 切切<4692>(5723){<2532>}仰望<4328>(5723)　神<2316>的日子<2250>來到<3952>。在<1223>那日<3739>，天<3772>被火燒<4448>(5746)就銷化了<3089>(5701)，{<2532>}有形質的<4747>都要被烈火<2741>(5746)鎔化<5080>(5743)。
Looking for<4328>(5723) and<2532> hasting<4692>(5723) unto the coming<3952> of the day<2250> of God<2316>, wherein<1223><3739> the heavens<3772> being on fire<4448>(5746) shall be dissolved<3089>(5701), and<2532> the elements<4747> shall melt<5080>(5743) with fervent heat<2741>(5746)? {hasting...: or, hasting the coming}
3:13 但<1161>我們照<2596>他的<846>應許<1862>，盼望<4328>(5719)新<2537>天<3772>{<2532>}新<2537>地<1093>，有義<1343>居<2730>(5719)在其<3739>中<1722>。
Nevertheless<1161> we<4328><0>, according to<2596> his<846> promise<1862>, look for<4328>(5719) new<2537> heavens<3772> and<2532> a new<2537> earth<1093>, wherein<1722><3739> dwelleth<2730>(5719) righteousness<1343>.
3:14 {<1352>}親愛的<27>弟兄啊，你們既盼望<4328>(5723)這些事<3778>，就當殷勤<4704>(5657)，使自己沒有玷污<784>，{<2532>}無可指摘<298>，安然<1722><1515>見<2147>(5683)主{<846>}；
Wherefore<1352>, beloved<27>, seeing that ye look for<4328>(5723) such things<5023>, be diligent<4704>(5657) that ye may be found<2147>(5683) of him<846> in<1722> peace<1515>, without spot<784>, and<2532> blameless<298>.
3:15 並且<2532>要以我<1473>主<2962>長久忍耐<3115>為得救<4991>的因由<2233>(5737)，就如<2531>我們<1473>所親愛的<27>兄弟<80>保羅<3972>，{<2532>}照著<2596>所賜給<1325>(5685)他<846>的智慧<4678>寫了<1125>(5656)信給你們<4771>。
And<2532> account<2233>(5737) that the longsuffering<3115> of our<2257> Lord<2962> is salvation<4991>; even as<2531> our<2257> beloved<27> brother<80> Paul<3972> also<2532> according to<2596> the wisdom<4678> given<1325>(5685) unto him<846> hath written<1125>(5656) unto you<5213>;
3:16 {<5613>}他一切的<3956>信<1992>上<1722>{<1722>}{<846>}也<2532>都是講論<2980>(5723){<4012>}這事<3778>。信{<3739>}中<1722>{<1510>}{(5719)}有些<5100>難明白的<1425>，那<3739>無學問<261>、{<2532>}不堅固<793>的人強解<4761>(5719)，如<5613>{<2532>}強解別的<3062>經書<1124>一樣，就<4314>自<846><2398>取沉淪<684>。
As<5613> also<2532> in<1722> all<3956> his epistles<1992>, speaking<2980>(5723) in<1722> them<846> of<4012> these things<5130>; in<1722> which<3739> are<2076>(5748) some things<5100> hard to be understood<1425>, which<3739> they that are unlearned<261> and<2532> unstable<793> wrest<4761>(5719), as<5613> they do also<2532> the other<3062> scriptures<1124>, unto<4314> their<846> own<2398> destruction<684>.
3:17 親愛的<27>弟兄啊，你們<4771>既然<3767>預先知道<4267>(5723)這事，就當防備<5442>(5732)，恐怕<2443><3361>被惡人<113>的錯謬<4106>誘惑<4879>(5685)，就從自己<2398>堅固的地步<4740>上墜落<1601>(5661)。
Ye<5210> therefore<3767>, beloved<27>, seeing ye know these things before<4267>(5723), beware<5442>(5732) lest<3363> ye also<1601><0>, being led away<4879>(5685) with the error<4106> of the wicked<113>, fall from<1601>(5632) your own<2398> stedfastness<4740>.
3:18 你們卻要<1161>在我們<1473>主<2962>─{<2532>}救主<4990>耶穌<2424>基督<5547>的恩典<5485>和<2532>知識<1108>上<1722>有長進<837>(5720)。願榮耀<1391>歸給他<846>，從{<2532>}今<3568>{<2532>}直到<1519>永遠<165><2250>。阿們<281>！
But<1161> grow<837>(5720) in<1722> grace<5485>, and<2532> in the knowledge<1108> of our<2257> Lord<2962> and<2532> Saviour<4990> Jesus<2424> Christ<5547>. To him<846> be glory<1391> both<2532> now<3568> and<2532> for<1519> ever<165><2250>. Amen<281>.
