4:1 我們既蒙留下<2641>(5746)，有進<1525>(5658)入<1519>他<846>安息<2663>的應許<1860>，就當<3767>畏懼<5399>(5686)，免得<3379>我們（原文是你們<4771>）中間<1537>或有人<5100>似乎<1380>(5725)是趕不上了<5302>(5760)。
Let us<5399><0> therefore<3767> fear<5399>(5680), lest<3379>, a promise<1860> being left<2641>(5746) us of entering<1525>(5629) into<1519> his<846> rest<2663>, any<5100> of<1537> you<5216> should seem<1380>(5725) to come short of it<5302>(5760).
4:2 因為<2532><1063>有<1510>(5719)福音傳給<2097>(5772)我們，像<2509>傳給他們<2548>一樣；只是<235>所聽見的<189>道<3056>與他們<1565>無<3756>益<5623>(5656)，因為他們沒<3361>有信心<4102>與所聽見的<191>(5660)道調和<4786>(5772)。
For<2532><1063> unto us was<2070>(5748) the gospel preached<2097>(5772), as well as<2509> unto them<2548>: but<235> the word<3056> preached<189> did<5623><0> not<3756> profit<5623>(5656) them<1565>, not<3361> being mixed<4786>(5772) with faith<4102> in them that heard<191>(5660) it . {the word...: Gr. the word of hearing} {not being...: or, because they were not united by faith to}
4:3 但<1063>我們<3588>已經相信<4100>(5660)的人得以進<1525>(5736)入<1519>那安息<2663>，正如<5613>{<2531>}上帝所說<3004>(5758)：「我在<1722>{<1473>}怒<3709>中起誓<3660>(5656)說：『{<1487>}他們斷不可進<1525>(5695)入<1519>我的<1473>安息<2663>！』」其實<2543>造物之工<2041>，從<575>創<2602>世<2889>以來已經成全了<1096>(5666)。
For<1063> we which<3588> have believed<4100>(5660) do enter<1525>(5736) into<1519> rest<2663>, as<2531> he said<2046>(5758), As<5613> I have sworn<3660>(5656) in<1722> my<3450> wrath<3709>, if<1487> they shall enter<1525>(5695) into<1519> my<3450> rest<2663>: although<2543> the works<2041> were finished<1096>(5679) from<575> the foundation<2602> of the world<2889>.
4:4 {<1063>}論到{<3779>}<4012>第七日<1442>，有一處<4225>說<3004>(5758)：「到<1722>第七<1442>日，<2250>上帝<2316>{<2532>}就歇了<2664>(5656){<575>}他<846>一切的<3956>工<2041>。」
For<1063> he spake<2046>(5758) in a certain place<4225> of<4012> the seventh<1442> day on this wise<3779>, And<2532> God<2316> did rest<2664>(5656) the seventh<1722><1442> day<2250> from<575> all<3956> his<846> works<2041>.
4:5 {<2532>}又<3825>{<1722>}有一處{<3778>}說：「{<1487>}他們斷不可進<1525>(5695)入<1519>我的<1473>安息<2663>！」
And<2532> in<1722> this<5129> place again<3825>, If<1487> they shall enter<1525>(5695) into<1519> my<3450> rest<2663>.
4:6 既<1893><3767>有必<620>(5743)進<1525>(5658){<1519>}安息的人<5100><846>，那{<2532>}先前<4387>聽見福音的<2097>(5685)，因為<1223>不信從<543>，不得<3756>進去<1525>(5656)。
Seeing<1893> therefore<3767> it remaineth<620>(5743) that some<5100> must enter<1525>(5629) therein<1519><846>, and<2532> they to whom it was first<4386> preached<2097>(5685) entered<1525><0> not<3756> in<1525>(5627) because<1223> of unbelief<543>: {it was: or, the gospel was}
4:7 所以{<4594>}過了{<3326>}多<5118>年{<5550>}，就在<1722>大衛的<1138>書上，又<3825>限定<3724>(5719){<5100>}一日<2250>，如<2531>以上所引的說<4302>(5769){<3004>}{(5723)}：「你們今日<4594>若<1437>聽<191>(5661)他的<846>話<5456>，就不可<3361>硬著<4645>(5661){<4771>}心<2588>。」
Again<3825>, he limiteth<3724>(5719) a certain<5100> day<2250>, saying<3004>(5723) in<1722> David<1138>, To day<4594>, after<3326> so long<5118> a time<5550>; as<2531> it is said<2046>(5769), To day<4594> if<1437> ye will hear<191>(5661) his<846> voice<5456>, harden<4645>(5725) not<3361> your<5216> hearts<2588>.
4:8 若<1487>是<1063>約書亞<2424>已叫他們<846>享了安息<2664>(5656)，後來<3326><3778>上帝{<302>}就不<3756>再提<2980>(5707){<4012>}別的<243>日子<2250>了。
For<1063> if<1487> Jesus<2424> had given<2664><0> them<846> rest<2664>(5656), then would he<302> not<3756> afterward<3326><5023> have spoken<2980>(5707) of<4012> another<243> day<2250>. {Jesus: that is, Joshua}
4:9 這樣<686>看來，必另有一安息日<4520>的安息為上帝的<2316>子民<2992>存留<620>(5743)。
There remaineth<620>(5743) therefore<686> a rest<4520> to the people<2992> of God<2316>. {rest: or, keeping of a sabbath}
4:10 因為<1063>那進<1525>(5660)入<1519>{<846>}安息<2663>的，{<846>}乃是<2532>歇了<2664>(5656){<575>}自己的<846>工<2041>，正如<5618>上帝<2316>{<575>}歇了他的<2398>工一樣。
For<1063> he that is entered<1525>(5631) into<1519> his<846> rest<2663>, he<846> also<2532> hath ceased<2664>(5656) from<575> his own<846> works<2041>, as<5618> God<2316> did from<575> his<2398>.
4:11 所以<3767>，我們務必竭力<4704>(5661)進<1525>(5658)入<1519>那<1565>安息<2663>，免得<2443><3361>有人<5100>學<1722>那不信從的<543>{<846>}樣子<5262>跌倒了<4098>(5661)。
Let us labour<4704>(5661) therefore<3767> to enter<1525>(5629) into<1519> that<1565> rest<2663>, lest<3363> any man<5100> fall<4098>(5632) after<1722> the same<846> example<5262> of unbelief<543>. {unbelief: or, disobedience}
4:12 {<1063>}上帝<2316>的道<3056>是活潑的<2198>(5723)，{<2532>}是有功效的<1756>，{<2532>}比<5228>一切<3956>兩刃<1366>的劍<3162>更快<5114>，甚至魂<5590>與<2532>靈<4151>，{<5037>}{<2532>}骨節<719>與<2532>骨髓<3452>，都能刺<1338>(5740)入<891>、剖開<3311>，連<2532>心<2588>中的思念<1761>和<2532>主意<1771>都能辨明<2924>。
For<1063> the word<3056> of God<2316> is quick<2198>(5723), and<2532> powerful<1756>, and<2532> sharper<5114> than<5228> any<3956> twoedged<1366> sword<3162>, piercing<1338>(5740) even to<891> the dividing asunder<3311> of soul<5590> and<5037><2532> spirit<4151>, and<5037><2532> of the joints<719> and<2532> marrow<3452>, and<2532> is a discerner<2924> of the thoughts<1761> and<2532> intents<1771> of the heart<2588>.
4:13 並且<2532>被造的<2937>沒<3756>有<1510>(5719)一樣在他<846>面前<1799>不顯然的<852>；<1161>原來萬物<3956>在那{<3739>}與<4314>我們有<1473>關係<3056>的主{<846>}眼<3788>前，都是赤露<1131>{<2532>}敞開的<5136>(5772)。
Neither<2532><3756> is there<2076>(5748) any creature<2937> that is not manifest<852> in his<846> sight<1799>: but<1161> all things<3956> are naked<1131> and<2532> opened<5136>(5772) unto the eyes<3788> of him<846> with<4314> whom<3739> we have<2254> to do<3056>.
4:14 我們既然<3767>有<2192>(5723)一位已經升入<1330>(5761)高天<3772>尊榮的大<3173>祭司<749>，就是上帝<2316>的兒子<5207>耶穌<2424>，便當持定<2902>(5725)所承認的道<3671>。
Seeing<2192><0> then<3767> that we have<2192>(5723) a great<3173> high priest<749>, that is passed into<1330>(5756) the heavens<3772>, Jesus<2424> the Son<5207> of God<2316>, let us hold fast<2902>(5725) our profession<3671>.
4:15 因<1063>我們的{<3756>}{<2192>}{(5719)}大祭司<749>並非不<3361>能<1410>(5740)體恤<4834>(5658)我們的<1473>軟弱<769>。他也曾凡事<3956>受過<2596>試探<3985>(5772)，與我們一樣<2596><3665>，只是<1161>他沒有<5565>犯罪<266>。
For<1063> we have<2192>(5719) not<3756> an high priest<749> which cannot<3361><1410>(5740) be touched with the feeling<4834>(5658) of our<2257> infirmities<769>; but<1161> was<3985><0> in<2596> all points<3956> tempted<3985>(5772)(5625)<3987>(5772) like<2596> as<3665> we are, yet without<5565> sin<266>.
4:16 所以<3767>，我們只管坦然無懼地<3326><3954>來到<4334>(5741)施恩<5485>的寶座<2362>前，為<2443>要得<2983>(5661)憐恤<1656>，{<2532>}蒙<2147>(5661)恩惠<5485>，作<1519>隨時的<2121>幫助<996>。
Let us<4334><0> therefore<3767> come<4334>(5741) boldly<3326><3954> unto the throne<2362> of grace<5485>, that<2443> we may obtain<2983>(5632) mercy<1656>, and<2532> find<2147>(5632) grace<5485> to help<996> in<1519> time of need<2121>.
