2:1 {<3767>}我<1473>兒<5043>啊，你<4771>要在<1722>基督<5547>耶穌<2424>的恩典<5485>上<1722>剛強<1743>(5744)起來。
Thou<4771> therefore<3767>, my<3450> son<5043>, be strong<1743>(5744) in<1722> the grace<5485> that is in<1722> Christ<5547> Jesus<2424>.
2:2 {<2532>}你在許多<4183>見證人<3144>面前<1223>聽見<191>(5656)我<1473>所<3844>教訓的{<3739>}，{<3778>}也要<2532>交託<3908>(5669)那忠心<4103>{<3748>}{<1510>}{(5698)}能<2425>教導<1321>(5658)別人<2087>的人<444>。
And<2532> the things<3739> that thou hast heard<191>(5656) of<3844> me<1700> among<1223> many<4183> witnesses<3144>, the same<5023> commit thou<3908>(5639) to faithful<4103> men<444>, who<3748> shall be<2071>(5704) able<2425> to teach<1321>(5658) others<2087> also<2532>. {among: or, by}
2:3 你要和我同受苦難<4777>(5657)，好像<5613>基督<5547>耶穌<2424>的精<2570>兵<4757>。
Thou<4771> therefore<3767> endure hardness<2553>(5657), as<5613> a good<2570> soldier<4757> of Jesus<2424> Christ<5547>.
2:4 凡在軍中當兵的<4754>(5734)，不<3762>將世<979>務<4230>纏身<1707>(5731)，好叫<2443>那招他當兵的<4758>(5660)人喜悅<700>(5661)。
No man<3762> that warreth<4754>(5734) entangleth himself<1707>(5743) with the affairs<4230> of this life<979>; that<2443> he may please<700>(5661) him who hath chosen him to be a soldier<4758>(5660).
2:5 {<1161>}人<5100>若<1437>{<2532>}在場上比武<118>(5725)，非<1437><3361>按規矩<3545>{<118>}{(5661)}，就不能<3756>得冠冕<4737>(5743)。
And<1161> if<1437> a man<5100> also<2532> strive<118>(5725) for masteries, yet is he<4737><0> not<3756> crowned<4737>(5743), except<3362> he strive<118>(5661) lawfully<3545>.
2:6 勞力的<2872>(5723)農夫<1092>理當<1163>(5719)先<4413>得<3335>(5721)糧食<2590>。
The husbandman<1092> that laboureth<2872>(5723) must be<1163>(5748) first<4413> partaker<3335>(5721) of the fruits<2590>. {that...: or, labouring first, must be partaker of the fruits}
2:7 我所說<3004>(5719)的話{<3739>}，你要思想<3539>(5720)，因為<1063>{<1722>}凡事<3956>主<2962>必給<1325>(5692)你<4771>聰明<4907>。
Consider<3539>(5720) what<3739> I say<3004>(5719); and<1063> the Lord<2962> give<1325>(5630) thee<4671> understanding<4907> in<1722> all things<3956>.
2:8 你要記念<3421>(5720)耶穌<2424>基督<5547>乃是大衛<1138>的<1537>後裔<4690>，他從死<3498>裡<1537>復活<1453>(5772)，正合乎<2596>我<1473>所傳的福音<2098>。
Remember<3421>(5720) that Jesus<2424> Christ<5547> of<1537> the seed<4690> of David<1138> was raised<1453>(5772) from<1537> the dead<3498> according to<2596> my<3450> gospel<2098>:
2:9 我為<1722>這<3739>福音受苦難<2553>(5719)，甚至被<3360>捆綁<1199>，像犯人<2557>一樣<5613>。然而<235>　神<2316>的道<3056>卻不被<3756>捆綁<1210>(5769)。
Wherein<1722><3739> I suffer trouble<2553>(5719), as<5613> an evil doer<2557>, even unto<3360> bonds<1199>; but<235> the word<3056> of God<2316> is<1210><0> not<3756> bound<1210>(5769).
2:10 所以<1223><3778>，我為<1223>選民<1588>凡事<3956>忍耐<5278>(5719)，叫<2443>他們<846>也<2532>可以得著<5177>(5661)那<3588>在基督<5547>耶穌<2424>裡<1722>的救恩<4991>和<3326>永遠的<166>榮耀<1391>。
Therefore<1223><5124> I endure<5278>(5719) all things<3956> for<1588><0> the elect's<1588> sakes<1223>, that<2443> they<846> may<5177><0> also<2532> obtain<5177>(5632) the salvation<4991> which<3588> is in<1722> Christ<5547> Jesus<2424> with<3326> eternal<166> glory<1391>.
2:11 有可信的<4103>話<3056>說：{<1063>}我們若<1487>與基督同死<4880>(5656)，也<2532>必與他同活<4800>(5692)；
It is a faithful<4103> saying<3056>: For<1063> if<1487> we be dead with<4880>(5627) him , we shall<4800><0> also<2532> live with<4800>(5692) him :
2:12 我們若<1487>能忍耐<5278>(5719)，也<2532>必和他一同作王<4821>(5692)。我們若<1487>不認他<720>(5695)，他也<2548>必不認<720>(5695)我們<1473>；
If<1487> we suffer<5278>(5719), we shall<4821><0> also<2532> reign with<4821>(5692) him : if<1487> we deny<720>(5736) him , he also<2548> will deny<720>(5695) us<2248>:
2:13 我們縱然<1487>失信<569>(5719)，他<1565>仍是<3306>(5719)可信的<4103>，因為<1063>他不<3756>能<1410>(5736)背乎<720>(5664)自己<1438>。
If<1487> we believe not<569>(5719), yet he<1565> abideth<3306>(5719) faithful<4103>: he cannot<3756><1410>(5736) deny<720>(5664) himself<1438>.
2:14 你要使眾人回想<5279>(5720)這些事<3778>，在主{<2316>}面前<1799>囑咐<1263>(5740)他們：不可<3361>為言語爭辯<3054>(5721)；這是{<1909>}沒有<3762>益處<5539>的，只能{<1909>}敗壞<2692>聽見的人<191>(5723)。
Of these things<5023> put them in remembrance<5279>(5720), charging<1263>(5740) them before<1799> the Lord<2962> that they strive<3054><0> not<3361> about words<3054>(5721) to<1519> no<3762> profit<5539>, but to<1909> the subverting<2692> of the hearers<191>(5723).
2:15 你<4572>當竭力<4704>(5657)在　神<2316>面前<3936>(5658)得蒙喜悅<1384>，作無愧的<422>工人<2040>，按著正意分解<3718>(5723)真理的<225>道<3056>。
Study<4704>(5657) to shew<3936>(5658) thyself<4572> approved<1384> unto God<2316>, a workman<2040> that needeth not to be ashamed<422>, rightly dividing<3718>(5723) the word<3056> of truth<225>.
2:16 但<1161>要遠避<4026>(5732)世俗<952>的虛談<2757>，因為<1063>這等人必進<4298>(5692)到<1909>更<4183>不敬虔<763>的地步。
But<1161> shun<4026>(5732) profane<952> and vain babblings<2757>: for<1063> they will increase<4298>(5692) unto<1909> more<4119> ungodliness<763>.
2:17 {<2532>}他們的<846>話<3056>如同<5613>毒瘡<1044>，越爛越大<2192>(5692)<3542>；其中{<3739>}有<1510>(5719)許米乃<5211>和<2532>腓理徒<5372>，
And<2532> their<846> word<3056> will eat<2192>(5692)<3542> as<5613> doth a canker<1044>: of whom<3739> is<2076>(5748) Hymenaeus<5211> and<2532> Philetus<5372>; {canker: or, gangrene}
2:18 他們<3748>偏離了<795>(5656){<4012>}真道<225>，說<3004>(5723)復活<386>的事已<2235>過<1096>(5760)，就<2532>敗壞<396>(5719)好些人<5100>的信心<4102>。
Who<3748> concerning<4012> the truth<225> have erred<795>(5656), saying<3004>(5723) that the resurrection<386> is past<1096>(5755) already<2235>; and<2532> overthrow<396>(5719) the faith<4102> of some<5100>.
2:19 然而<3305>，　神<2316>堅固的<4731>根基<2310>立住了<2476>(5758)；上面有<2192>(5723)這<3778>印記<4973>說：「主<2962>認識<1097>(5656)誰是<1510>(5723)他的<846>人」；又<2532>說：「凡<3956>稱呼<3687>(5723)主<2962>名<3686>的人總要離開<868>(5657){<575>}不義<93>。」
Nevertheless<3305> the foundation<2310> of God<2316> standeth<2476>(5707)(5758) sure<4731>, having<2192>(5723) this<5026> seal<4973>, The Lord<2962> knoweth<1097>(5627) them that are<5607>(5752) his<846>. And<2532>, Let<868><0> every one<3956> that nameth<3687>(5723) the name<3686> of Christ<5547> depart<868>(5628) from<575> iniquity<93>. {sure: or, steady}
2:20 {<1161>}在<1722>大<3173>戶人家<3614>，不<3756>但<3441>有<1510>(5719)金<5552>器<4632>{<2532>}銀<693>器，也有<235><2532>木<3585>器{<2532>}瓦<3749>器；{<2532>}有<3739><3303>作為{<1519>}貴重的<5092>，{<1161>}有<3739>作為{<1519>}卑賤的<819>。
But<1161> in<1722> a great<3173> house<3614> there are<2076>(5748) not<3756> only<3440> vessels<4632> of gold<5552> and<2532> of silver<693>, but<235> also<2532> of wood<3585> and<2532> of earth<3749>; and<2532> some<3739><3303> to<1519> honour<5092>, and<1161> some<3739> to<1519> dishonour<819>.
2:21 人<5100>若<1437>{<3767>}自<1438>潔<1571>(5661)，脫離<575>卑賤的事{<3778>}，就必作<1510>(5695)<1519>貴重的<5092>器皿<4632>，成為聖潔<37>(5772)，合乎<2173>主用<1203>，預備<2090>(5772)行{<1519>}各樣的<3956>善<18>事<2041>。
If<1437> a man<5100> therefore<3767> purge<1571>(5661) himself<1438> from<575> these<5130>, he shall be<2071>(5704) a vessel<4632> unto<1519> honour<5092>, sanctified<37>(5772), and<2532> meet<2173> for the master's use<1203>, and prepared<2090>(5772) unto<1519> every<3956> good<18> work<2041>.
2:22 你{<1161>}要逃避<5343>(5720)少年的<3512>私慾<1939>，{<1161>}同<3326>那{<1537>}清<2513>心<2588>禱告<1941>(5734)主<2962>的人追求<1377>(5720)公義<1343>、信德<4102>、仁愛<26>、和平<1515>。
Flee<5343>(5720) also<1161> youthful<3512> lusts<1939>: but<1161> follow<1377>(5720) righteousness<1343>, faith<4102>, charity<26>, peace<1515>, with<3326> them that call on<1941>(5734) the Lord<2962> out of<1537> a pure<2513> heart<2588>.
2:23 惟有<1161>那愚拙<3474>{<2532>}無學問<521>的辯論<2214>，總要棄絕<3868>(5737)，因為知道<3608a>(5761)這等事{<3754>}是起<1080>(5719)爭競<3163>的。
But<1161> foolish<3474> and<2532> unlearned<521> questions<2214> avoid<3868>(5737), knowing<1492>(5761) that<3754> they do gender<1080>(5719) strifes<3163>.
2:24 然而<1161>主<2962>的僕人<1401>不<3756>可<1163>(5719)爭競<3164>(5738)，只<235>要<1510>(5721)溫溫和和地<2261>待<4314>眾人<3956>，善於教導<1317>，存心忍耐<420>，
And<1161> the servant<1401> of the Lord<2962> must<1163>(5748) not<3756> strive<3164>(5738); but<235> be<1511>(5750) gentle<2261> unto<4314> all<3956> men , apt to teach<1317>, patient<420>, {patient: or, forbearing}
2:25 用<1722>溫柔<4240>勸戒<3811>(5723)那抵擋的人<475>(5734)；或者<3379>　神<2316>給<1325>(5661)他們<846>悔改的心<3341>，可以<1519>明白<1922>真道<225>，
In<1722> meekness<4236> instructing<3811>(5723) those that oppose themselves<475>(5734); if<3379><0> God<2316> peradventure<3379> will give<1325>(5632) them<846> repentance<3341> to<1519> the acknowledging<1922> of the truth<225>;
2:26 叫<2532>他們這已經被<5259>魔鬼<1228>任意{<1519>}{<1565>}{<2307>}擄去<2221>(5772)的，可以醒悟<366>(5661)，脫離<1537>他的<846>網羅<3803>。
And<2532> that they may recover themselves<366>(5661) out of<1537> the snare<3803> of the devil<1228>, who are taken captive<2221>(5772) by<5259> him<846> at<1519> his<1565> will<2307>. {recover...: Gr. awake} {taken...: Gr. taken alive}
