Paul<3972>, and<2532> Silvanus<4610>, and<2532> Timotheus<5095>, unto the church<1577> of the Thessalonians<2331> in<1722> God<2316> our<2257> Father<3962> and<2532> the Lord<2962> Jesus<2424> Christ<5547>:
1:2 願恩惠<5485>、{<2532>}平安<1515>從<575>{<1473>}父<3962>　神<2316>和<2532>主<2962>耶穌<2424>基督<5547>歸與你們<4771>！
Grace<5485> unto you<5213>, and<2532> peace<1515>, from<575> God<2316> our<2257> Father<3962> and<2532> the Lord<2962> Jesus<2424> Christ<5547>.
1:3 弟兄們<80>，我們該<3784>(5719)為<4012>你們<4771>常常<3842>感謝<2168>(5721)　神<2316>，這本<2531>是<1510>(5719)合宜的<514>；因<3754>你們的<4771>信心<4102>格外增長<5232>(5719)，並且<2532>你們<4771>眾人<3956>彼<1520>此<240>{<1538>}相<1519>愛<26>的心也都充足<4121>(5719)。
We are bound<3784>(5719) to thank<2168>(5721) God<2316> always<3842> for<4012> you<5216>, brethren<80>, as<2531> it is<2076>(5748) meet<514>, because<3754> that your<5216> faith<4102> groweth exceedingly<5232>(5719), and<2532> the charity<26> of every<1538> one<1520> of you<5216> all<3956> toward<1519> each other<240> aboundeth<4121>(5719);
1:4 甚至<5620>我們<1473>{<846>}在<1722>　神的<2316>各教會<1577>裡為<1722>你們<4771>誇口<1460a>(5738)，都因<5228>你們<4771>在<1722>所受的<430>(5731)一切<3956>{<4771>}逼迫<1375>{<2532>}患難<2347>中，仍舊{<3739>}存忍耐<5281>和<2532>信心<4102>。
So<5620> that we<2248> ourselves<846> glory<2744>(5738) in<1722> you<5213> in<1722> the churches<1577> of God<2316> for<5228> your<5216> patience<5281> and<2532> faith<4102> in<1722> all<3956> your<5216> persecutions<1375> and<2532> tribulations<2347> that<3739> ye endure<430>(5736):
1:5 這正是　神<2316>公義<1342>判斷<2920>的明證<1730>，叫<1519>你們<4771>可算配得<2661>(5683)　神<2316>的國<932>；你們就是<2532>為<5228>這國{<3739>}受苦<3958>(5719)。
Which is a manifest token<1730> of the righteous<1342> judgment<2920> of God<2316>, that<1519> ye<5209> may be counted worthy<2661>(5683) of the kingdom<932> of God<2316>, for<5228> which<3739> ye<3958><0> also<2532> suffer<3958>(5719):
1:6 {<3844>}　神<2316>既是<1512>公義的<1342>，就必將患難<2347>報應<467>(5658)那加患難<2346>(5723)給你們<4771>的人，
Seeing<1512> it is a righteous thing<1342> with<3844> God<2316> to recompense<467>(5629) tribulation<2347> to them that trouble<2346>(5723) you<5209>;
1:7 也<2532>必使你們<4771>這受患難<2346>(5746)的人與我們<1473>同得<3326>平安<425>。那時<1722>，主<2962>耶穌<2424>同<3326>他<846>有能力<1411>的天使<32>從<575>天上<3772>在<1722>火<4442>焰<5395>中顯現<602>，

1:8 要報應<1325>(5723)<1557>那不<3361>認識<3608a>(5761)　神<2316>和<2532>那不<3361>聽從<5219>(5723)我<1473>主<2962>耶穌<2424>福音<2098>的人。
In<1722> flaming<5395> fire<4442> taking<1325>(5723) vengeance<1557> on them that know<1492>(5761) not<3361> God<2316>, and<2532> that obey<5219>(5723) not<3361> the gospel<2098> of our<2257> Lord<2962> Jesus<2424> Christ<5547>: {taking: or, yielding}
1:9 他們{<3748>}要受刑罰<1349><5099>(5692)，就是永遠<166>沉淪<3639>，離開<575>主<2962>的面<4383>和<2532>{<575>}他<846>權能<2479>的榮光<1391>。
Who<3748> shall be punished<1349><5099>(5692) with everlasting<166> destruction<3639> from<575> the presence<4383> of the Lord<2962>, and<2532> from<575> the glory<1391> of his<846> power<2479>;
1:10 這正是{<3752>}主降臨<2064>(5661)、要在<1722>他<846>聖徒<40>的身上得榮耀<1740>(5677)、又<2532>在<1722>一切<3956>信<4100>(5660)的人身上顯為希奇<2296>(5683)的{<1722>}那<1565>日子<2250>。{<3754>}我們<1473>對<1909>你們<4771>作的見證<3142>，你們也信<4100>(5681)了。
When<3752> he shall come<2064>(5632) to be glorified<1740>(5683) in<1722> his<846> saints<40>, and<2532> to be admired<2296>(5683) in<1722> all<3956> them that believe<4100>(5723) (because<3754> our<2257> testimony<3142> among<1909> you<5209> was believed<4100>(5681)) in<1722> that<1565> day<2250>.
1:11 因此<1519><3739>，我們{<2532>}常<3842>為<4012>你們<4771>禱告<4336>(5736)，願<2443>我們的<1473>　神<2316>看你們<4771>配得<515>(5661)過所蒙的召<2821>，又<2532>用<1722>大能<1411>成就<4137>(5661)你們一切<3956>所羨慕<2107>的良善<19>和<2532>一切因信心<4102>所做的工夫<2041>，

1:12 叫<3704>我們<1473>主<2962>耶穌<2424>的名<3686>在<1722>你們<4771>身上得榮耀<1740>(5680)，你們<4771>也<2532>在<1722>他<846>身上得榮耀，都照著<2596>我們的<1473>　神<2316>並<2532>主<2962>耶穌<2424>基督<5547>的恩<5485>。
