9 論到<1063><3303><4012>供給<1519>聖徒<40>的事<1248>，我<1473>不必<1510>(5719)<4053>寫信<1125>(5721)給你們<4771>；
For<1063> as<3303> touching<4012> the ministering<1248> to<1519> the saints<40>, it is<2076>(5748) superfluous<4053> for me<3427> to write<1125>(5721) to you<5213>:
2 因為<1063>我知道<3608a>(5758)你們<4771>樂意的心<4288>，{<3739>}常對馬其頓人<3110>誇獎<2744>(5736){<5228>}你們<4771>，說<3754>亞該亞人<882>預備好了<3903>(5764)，已經<575>有一年<4070>了；並且<2532>你們的<4771>熱心<2205>激動<2042>(5656)了許多人<4183>。
For<1063> I know<1492>(5758) the forwardness of<4288><0> your<5216> mind<4288>, for which<3739> I boast<2744>(5736) of<5228> you<5216> to them of Macedonia<3110>, that<3754> Achaia<882> was ready<3903>(5769) a year<4070> ago<575>; and<2532> your<5216> zeal<2205><1537> hath provoked<2042>(5656) very many<4119>.
3 但<1161>我打發<3992>(5656)那幾位弟兄<80>去，要叫<2443>你們照<2531>我的話<3004>(5707)預備妥當<1510>(5725)<3903>(5765)，免得<2443><3361>我們<1473>在<1722>這<3778>事<3313>上誇獎<2745>{<5228>}你們<4771>的話落了空<2758>(5686)。
Yet<1161> have I sent<3992>(5656) the brethren<80>, lest<3363> our<2257> boasting<2745> of<5228> you<5216> should be in vain<2758>(5686) in<1722> this<5129> behalf<3313>; that<2443>, as<2531> I said<3004>(5707), ye may be<5600>(5753) ready<3903>(5772):
4 萬一<3361><4458><1437>有馬其頓人<3110>與<4862>我<1473>同去<2064>(5661)，{<2532>}見<2147>(5661)你們<4771>沒有預備<532>，就叫我們<1473>{<1722>}所<3778>確信的<5287>，反成了羞愧<2617>(5686)；你們<4771>羞愧，更不用<2443><3361>說<3004>(5725)了。
Lest<3381> haply<4458> if<1437> they of Macedonia<3110> come<2064>(5632) with<4862> me<1698>, and<2532> find<2147>(5632) you<5209> unprepared<532>, we<2249> (that<3363><0> we say<3004>(5725) not<3363>, ye<5210>) should be ashamed<2617>(5686) in<1722> this same<5026> confident<5287> boasting<2746>.
5 因此<3767>，我想<2233>(5662)不得不<316>求<3870>(5658)那幾位弟兄<80>{<2443>}先到<4281>(5661)<1519>你們<4771>那裡去，{<2532>}把從前所應許<4279>(5765)的捐貲<2129>預備<1510>(5721)<2092>妥當<4294>(5661)，就<3779>顯出你們<4771>所捐的<3778>是出於<5613>樂意<2129>，{<2532>}不是<3361>出於<5613>勉強<4124>。
Therefore<3767> I thought<2233>(5662) it necessary<316> to exhort<3870>(5658) the brethren<80>, that<2443> they would go before<4281>(5632) unto<1519> you<5209>, and<2532> make up beforehand<4294>(5661) your<5216> bounty<2129>, whereof ye had notice before<4293>(5772), that the same<5026> might be<1511>(5750) ready<2092>,<3779> as<5613> a matter of bounty<2129>, and<2532> not<3361> as<5618> of covetousness<4124>. {bounty: Gr. blessing} {whereof...: or, which hath been so much spoken of before}
6 「{<1161>}{<3778>}少<5340>種的{<3588>}<4687>(5723){<2532>}少<5340>收<2325>(5692)，{<2532>}多<1909><2129>種{<3588>}<4687>(5723)的{<2532>}多<1909><2129>收<2325>(5692)」，這話是真的。
But<1161> this<5124> I say , He which soweth<4687>(5723) sparingly<5340> shall reap<2325>(5692) also<2532> sparingly<5340>; and<2532> he which soweth<4687>(5723) bountifully<1909><2129> shall reap<2325>(5692) also<2532> bountifully<1909><2129>.
7 各人<1538>要隨<2531>本心<2588>所酌定<4255>(5764)的，不要<3361>作難<1537><3077>，不要<2228>勉強<1537><318>，因為<1063>捐<1395>得樂意<2431>的人是　神<2316>所喜愛<25>(5719)的。
Every man<1538> according as<2531> he purposeth<4255>(5736) in his heart<2588>, so let him give ; not<3361> grudgingly<1537><3077>, or<2228> of<1537> necessity<318>: for<1063> God<2316> loveth<25>(5719) a cheerful<2431> giver<1395>.
8 {<1161>}　神<2316>能<1414>(5719)將各樣的<3956>恩惠<5485>多多地<4052>(5658)加給<1519>你們<4771>，使<2443>你們{<1722>}凡事<3956>常常<3842>充足<2192>(5723)<3956><841>，能多<4052>(5725)行<1519>各樣<3956>善<18>事<2041>。
And<1161> God<2316> is able<1415> to make<4052><0> all<3956> grace<5485> abound<4052>(5658) toward<1519> you<5209>; that<2443> ye, always<3842> having<2192>(5723) all<3956> sufficiency<841> in<1722> all<3956> things , may abound<4052>(5725) to<1519> every<3956> good<18> work<2041>:
9 如<2531>經上所記<1125>(5769)：他施捨錢財<4650>(5656)，賙濟<1325>(5656)貧窮<3993>；他的<846>仁義<1343>存<3306>(5719)到<1519>永遠<165>。
(As<2531> it is written<1125>(5769), He hath dispersed abroad<4650>(5656); he hath given<1325>(5656) to the poor<3993>: his<846> righteousness<1343> remaineth<3306>(5719) for<1519> ever<165>.
10 {<1161>}那賜<2023>(5723)種<4703>給撒種的<4687>(5723)，{<2532>}賜糧<740>給<1519>人吃<1035>的，必<2532>多多加<4129>(5692)給<5524>(5692)你們<4771>種地的種子<4703>，又<2532>增添<837>(5692)你們<4771>仁義<1343>的果子<1081>；
Now<1161> he that ministereth<2023>(5723) seed<4690> to the sower<4687>(5723) both<2532> minister<5524>(5659) bread<740> for<1519> your food<1035>, and<2532> multiply<4129>(5659) your<5216> seed sown<4703>, and<2532> increase<837>(5659) the fruits<1081> of your<5216> righteousness<1343>;)
11 叫你們凡事<1722><3956>富足<4148>(5746)，可以<1519>多多<3956>施捨<572>，就<3748>藉著<1223>我們<1473>使感謝<2169>歸於<2716>(5736)　神<2316>。
Being enriched<4148>(5746) in<1722> every thing<3956> to<1519> all<3956> bountifulness<572>, which<3748> causeth<2716>(5736) through<1223> us<2257> thanksgiving<2169> to God<2316>. {bountifulness: or, liberality: Gr. simplicity}
12 因為<3754>辦這<3778>供給<3009>的事<1248>，不但<3756><3441>補<1510>(5719)<4322>(5723)聖徒<40>的缺乏<5303>，而且<235><2532>叫<1223>許多人<4183>越發<4052>(5723)感謝<2169>　神<2316>。
For<3754> the administration<1248> of this<5026> service<3009> not<3756> only<3440> supplieth<2076>(5748)<4322>(5723) the want<5303> of the saints<40>, but<235> is abundant<4052>(5723) also<2532> by<1223> many<4183> thanksgivings<2169> unto God<2316>;
13 他們從<1223>這<3778>供給的事<1248>上得了憑據<1382>，知道<1909>你們<4771>承認<3671>基督<5547>順服<5292>{<1519>}他的福音<2098>，{<2532>}多多地<572>捐錢<2842>給<1519>他們<846>和<2532>{<1519>}眾人<3956>，便將榮耀歸與<1392>(5723)　神<2316>。
Whiles by<1223> the experiment<1382> of this<5026> ministration<1248> they glorify<1392>(5723) God<2316> for<1909> your<5216> professed<3671> subjection<5292> unto<1519> the gospel<2098> of Christ<5547>, and<2532> for your liberal<572> distribution<2842> unto<1519> them<846>, and<2532> unto<1519> all<3956> men ;
14 他們<846>也<2532>因<1223>　神<2316>極大的<5235>(5723)恩賜<5485>顯在<1909>你們<4771>心裡，就切切地想念<1971>(5723)你們<4771>，為<5228>你們<4771>祈禱<1162>。
And<2532> by their<846> prayer<1162> for<5228> you<5216>, which long after<1971>(5723) you<5209> for<1223> the exceeding<5235>(5723) grace<5485> of God<2316> in<1909> you<5213>.
15 感謝<5485>　神<2316>，因<1909>他<846>有說不盡的<411>恩賜<1431>！
<1161> Thanks<5485> be unto God<2316> for<1909> his<846> unspeakable<411> gift<1431>.
