2 {<1063>}我自己<1683>定了{<3778>}主意<2919>(5656)再<3825>到<2064>(5658)<4314>你們<4771>那裡去，必須大家沒有<3361>憂愁<1722><3077>。
But<1161> I determined<2919>(5656) this<5124> with myself<1683>, that I would<2064><0> not<3361> come<2064>(5629) again<3825> to<4314> you<5209> in<1722> heaviness<3077>.
2 {<1063>}倘若<1487>我<1473>叫你們<4771>憂愁<3076>(5719)，除了<1487><3361>我<1473>叫<1537>那憂愁<3076>(5746)的人以外，{<2532>}誰<5101>能叫我<1473>快樂<2165>(5723)呢？
For<1063> if<1487> I<1473> make<3076><0> you<5209> sorry<3076>(5719), who<5101> is he<2076>(5748) then<2532> that maketh<2165><0> me<3165> glad<2165>(5723), but<1508> the same which is made sorry<3076>(5746) by<1537> me<1700>?
3 {<2532>}我曾把這<3778><846>事寫<1125>(5656)給你們，恐怕<2443><3361>我到<2064>(5660)的時候，應該<1163>(5707)叫<575>我<1473>快樂<5463>(5721)的那些人<3739>，反倒叫我{<2192>}{(5661)}憂愁<3077>。我也深信<3982>(5761)，{<1909>}你們<4771>眾人<3956>{<3754>}都以我的<1699>快樂<5479>為<1510>(5719){<4771>}{<3956>}自己的快樂。
And<2532> I wrote<1125>(5656) this<5124> same<846> unto you<5213>, lest<3363>, when I came<2064>(5631), I should have<2192>(5725) sorrow<3077> from<575> them of whom<3739> I<3165> ought<1163>(5713) to rejoice<5463>(5721); having confidence<3982>(5756) in<1909> you<5209> all<3956>, that<3754> my<1699> joy<5479> is<2076>(5748) the joy of you<5216> all<3956>.
4 {<1063>}{<1537>}我先前心裡<2588>{<4183>}難過<2347>{<2532>}痛苦<4928>，{<1223>}多多地<4183>流淚<1144>，寫信<1125>(5656)給你們<4771>，不是<3756>叫<2443>你們憂愁<3076>(5686)，乃是<235>叫<2443>你們知道<1097>(5661){<3739>}我{<2192>}{(5719)}格外地<4056>疼愛<26>{<1519>}你們<4771>。
For<1063> out of<1537> much<4183> affliction<2347> and<2532> anguish<4928> of heart<2588> I wrote<1125>(5656) unto you<5213> with<1223> many<4183> tears<1144>; not<3756> that<2443> ye should be grieved<3076>(5686), but<235> that<2443> ye might know<1097>(5632) the love<26> which<3739> I have<2192>(5719) more abundantly<4056> unto<1519> you<5209>.
5 {<1161>}若<1487>有<5100>叫人憂愁的<3076>(5758)，他不<3756>但叫我<1473>憂愁<3076>(5758)，也是<235>叫你們<4771>眾人<3956>有<575>幾分<3313>憂愁。我說幾分，恐怕<2443><3361>說得太重<1912>(5725)。
But<1161> if any<1536> have caused grief<3076>(5758), he hath<3076><0> not<3756> grieved<3076>(5758) me<1691>, but<235> in<575> part<3313>: that<3363><0> I may<1912><0> not<3363> overcharge<1912>(5725) you<5209> all<3956>.
6 這樣的人<5108>{<3588>}受了<5259>眾人<4183>的{<3778>}責罰<2009>也就夠了<2425>，
Sufficient<2425> to such a man<5108> is this<3778> punishment<2009>, which<3588> was inflicted of<5259> many<4119>. {punishment: or, censure}
7 {<5620>}{<4771>}{<3123>}倒不如<5121>赦免<5483>(5664)他，{<2532>}安慰<3870>(5658)他，免得<3361>他<5108>憂愁<3077>太過<4055>，甚至<4458>沉淪<2666>(5686)了。
So<5620> that contrariwise<5121> ye<5209> ought rather<3123> to forgive<5483>(5664) him , and<2532> comfort<3870>(5658) him , lest<3381> perhaps<4458> such a one<5108> should be swallowed up<2666>(5686) with overmuch<4055> sorrow<3077>.
8 所以<1352>我勸<3870>(5719)你們<4771>，要向<1519>他<846>顯出堅定不移<2964>(5658)的愛心<26>來。
Wherefore<1352> I beseech<3870>(5719) you<5209> that ye would confirm<2964>(5658) your love<26> toward<1519> him<846>.
9 為<1063><1519>此<3778>我先前也<2532>寫信<1125>(5656)給你們，要<2443>試驗<1097>(5661)<1382>你們<4771>，看你們{<1519>}凡事<3956>{<1510>}{(5719)}順從<5255>不<1487>順從。
For<1063> to<1519> this end<5124> also<2532> did I write<1125>(5656), that<2443> I might know<1097>(5632) the proof<1382> of you<5216>, whether<1487> ye be<2075>(5748) obedient<5255> in<1519> all things<3956>.
10 {<1161>}你們赦免<5483>(5736)誰<3739>{<5100>}，我也<2504>赦免誰。{<2532>}{<1063>}我<1473>若<1487>有所<5100>赦免<5483>(5763)的，{<3739>}是在<1722>基督<5547>面前<4383>為你們<1223><4771>赦免<5483>(5763)的，
<1161> To whom<3739> ye forgive<5483>(5736) any thing<5100>, I<1473> forgive also<2532>: for<2532><1063> if I<1473> forgave<5483>(5766) any thing<1536>, to whom<3739> I forgave<5483>(5766) it , for your sakes<1223><5209> forgave I it in<1722> the person<4383> of Christ<5547>; {person: or, sight}
11 免得<2443><3361>{<5259>}撒但<4567>趁著機會勝過<4122>(5686)我們，因<1063>我們並非<3756>不曉得<50>(5719)他的<846>詭計<3540>。
Lest<3363> Satan<5259><4567> should get an advantage of us<4122>(5686): for<1063> we are not<3756> ignorant<50>(5719) of his<846> devices<3540>.
12 {<1161>}我從前為<1519>基督<5547>的福音<2098>到了<2064>(5660)<1519>特羅亞<5174>，{<1722>}主<2962>也<2532>給我<1473>開<455>(5772)了門<2374>。
Furthermore<1161>, when I came<2064>(5631) to<1519> Troas<5174> to<1519> preach Christ's<5547> gospel<2098>, and<2532> a door<2374> was opened<455>(5772) unto me<3427> of<1722> the Lord<2962>,
13 那時，因為{<1473>}沒有<3361>遇見<2147>(5658){<1473>}兄弟<80>提多<5103>，我<1473>{<2192>}{(5758)}心裡<4151>不<3756>安<425>，便<235>辭別<657>(5671)<1831>(5656)那裡的人<846>往<1519>馬其頓<3109>去了。
I had<2192>(5758) no<3756> rest<425> in my<3450> spirit<4151>, because I<3165> found<2147>(5629) not<3361> Titus<5103> my<3450> brother<80>: but<235> taking my leave<657>(5671) of them<846>, I went from thence<1831>(5627) into<1519> Macedonia<3109>.
14 {<1161>}感謝<5485>　神<2316>！常<3842>率領我們<1473>在<1722>基督<5547>裡誇勝<2358>(5723)，並<2532>藉著<1223>我們<1473>在<1722>各<3956>處<5117>顯揚<5319>(5723)那因認識<1108>基督{<846>}而有的香氣<3744>。
Now<1161> thanks<5485> be unto God<2316>, which always<3842> causeth<2358><0> us<2248> to triumph<2358>(5723) in<1722> Christ<5547>, and<2532> maketh manifest<5319>(5723) the savour<3744> of his<846> knowledge<1108> by<1223> us<2257> in<1722> every<3956> place<5117>.
15 因為<3754>我們在<1510>(5719)　神<2316>面前，無論在<1722>得救<4982>(5746)的人身上或<2532>{<1722>}滅亡<622>(5734)的人身上，都有基督<5547>馨香之氣<2175>。
For<3754> we are<2070>(5748) unto God<2316> a sweet savour<2175> of Christ<5547>, in<1722> them that are saved<4982>(5746), and<2532> in<1722> them that perish<622>(5730):
16 在<3739>這等人<3303>，就作了<1537>死<2288>的香氣<3744>叫<1519>他死<2288>；{<1161>}在那等人<3739>，就作了<1537>活<2222>的香氣<3744>叫<1519>他活<2222>。{<2532>}{<4314>}這事<3778>誰<5101>能當得起<2425>呢？
To<3739> the one<3303> we are the savour<3744> of death<2288> unto<1519> death<2288>; and<1161> to the other<3739> the savour<3744> of life<2222> unto<1519> life<2222>. And<2532> who<5101> is sufficient<2425> for<4314> these things<5023>?
17 {<1063>}我們不<3756><1510>(5719)像<5613>那許多人<4183>，為利混亂<2585>(5723)　神<2316>的道<3056>；乃是<235>由於<5613><1537>誠實<1505>，{<235>}由於<5613><1537>　神<2316>，在　神<2316>面前<2713>憑著<1722>基督<5547>講道<2980>(5719)。
For<1063> we are<2070>(5748) not<3756> as<5613> many<4183>, which corrupt<2585>(5723) the word<3056> of God<2316>: but<235> as<5613> of<1537> sincerity<1505>, but<235> as<5613> of<1537> God<2316>, in the sight<2714> of God<2316> speak we<2980>(5719) in<1722> Christ<5547>. {corrupt: or, deal deceitfully with} {in Christ: or, of Christ}
