4:1 人<444>應當<3779>以<3049>(5737)我們<1473>為<5613>基督<5547>的執事<5257>，{<2532>}為神<2316>奧祕事<3466>的管家<3623>。
Let<3049><0> a man<444> so<3779> account<3049>(5737) of us<2248>, as<5613> of the ministers<5257> of Christ<5547>, and<2532> stewards<3623> of the mysteries<3466> of God<2316>.
4:2 {<5602>}{<3063>}所求<2212>(5743)於<1722>管家<3623>的，是<2443>要<2147>(5686)他{<5100>}有忠心<4103>。
<3739><1161> Moreover<3063> it is required<2212>(5743) in<1722> stewards<3623>, that<2443> a man<5100> be found<2147>(5686) faithful<4103>.
4:3 我被<5259>你們<4771>論斷<350>(5686)，或<2228>被<5259>別人<442>論斷{<2250>}，{<1161>}我<1473>都<2443>以為<1510>(5719){<1519>}極小<1646>的事；連<235>我自己<1683>也不<3761>論斷<350>(5719)自己。
But<1161> with me<1698> it is<2076>(5748) a very small thing<1519><1646> that<2443> I should be judged<350>(5686) of<5259> you<5216>, or<2228> of<5259> man's<442> judgment<2250>: yea<235>, I judge<350>(5719) not<3761> mine own self<1683>. {judgment: Gr. day}
4:4 {<1063>}我雖不<3762>覺得<4894>(5758)自己<1683>有錯，卻<235>也不<3756>能因此<1722><3778>得以稱義<1344>(5769)；但<1161>判斷<350>(5723)我<1473>的乃是<1510>(5719)主<2962>。
For<1063> I know<4894>(5758) nothing<3762> by myself<1683>; yet<235> am I<1344><0> not<3756> hereby<1722><5129> justified<1344>(5769): but<1161> he that judgeth<350>(5723) me<3165> is<2076>(5748) the Lord<2962>. {know: or, I am not conscious of any fault}
4:5 所以<5620>，時候<2540>未到<4253>，甚麼都不要<3361><5100>論斷<2919>(5720)，只等<2193><302>主<2962>來<2064>(5661)，他<3739>{<2532>}要照出<5461>(5692)暗<4655>中的隱情<2927>，{<2532>}顯明<5319>(5692)人心<2588>的意念<1012>。{<2532>}那時<5119>，各人<1538>要<1096>(5695)從<575>神<2316>那裡得著稱讚<1868>。
Therefore<5620> judge<2919>(5720) nothing<3361><5100> before<4253> the time<2540>, until<2193><302> the Lord<2962> come<2064>(5632), who<3739> both<2532> will bring to light<5461>(5692) the hidden things<2927> of darkness<4655>, and<2532> will make manifest<5319>(5692) the counsels<1012> of the hearts<2588>: and<2532> then<5119> shall every man<1538> have<1096>(5695) praise<1868> of<575> God<2316>.
4:6 {<1161>}弟兄們<80>，我為<1223>你們的緣故<4771>，拿這些事<3778>轉比<3345>(5656)<1519>自己<1683>和<2532>亞波羅<625>，叫<2443>你們效法<3129>(5661){<1722>}我們<1473>不<3361>可過於聖經所<3739>記<1125>(5769)，免得<2443><3361>你們{<1520>}自高自大<5448>(5743)<5228>，貴重<5228>這個<1520>，輕看<2596>那個<2087>。
And<1161> these things<5023>, brethren<80>, I have in a figure transferred<3345>(5656) to<1519> myself<1683> and<2532> to Apollos<625> for<1223> your sakes<5209>; that<2443> ye might learn<3129>(5632) in<1722> us<2254> not<3361> to think<5426>(5721) of men above<5228> that<2443> which<3739> is written<1125>(5769), that no<3363> one<1520> of you be puffed up<5448>(5747) for<5228> one<1520> against<2596> another<2087>.
4:7 使<1063>你<4771>與人不同<1252>(5719)的是誰<5101>呢？<1161>你有<2192>(5719)甚麼<5101>不<3756>是<3739>領受<2983>(5656)的呢？若<1487>{<1161>}{<2532>}是領受<2983>(5656)的，為何<5101>自誇<2744>(5736)，彷彿<5613>不<3361>是領受<2983>(5660)的呢？
For<1063> who<5101> maketh<1252><0> thee<4571> to differ<1252>(5719) from another ? and<1161> what<5101> hast thou<2192>(5719) that<3739> thou didst<2983><0> not<3756> receive<2983>(5627)?<1161> now if<1499> thou didst receive<2983>(5627) it , why<5101> dost thou glory<2744>(5736), as<5613> if thou hadst<2983><0> not<3361> received<2983>(5631) it ? {maketh...: Gr. distinguisheth thee}
4:8 {<2235>}你們已經<1510>(5719)飽足<2880>(5772)了！已經<2235>豐富了<4147>(5656)！不用<5565>我們<1473>，自己就作王<936>(5656)了！{<2532>}我願意<3785>你們果真<1065>作王<936>(5656)，叫<2443>我們<1473>也<2532>得與你們<4771>一同作王<4821>(5661)。
Now<2235> ye are<2075>(5748) full<2880>(5772), now<2235> ye are rich<4147>(5656), ye have reigned as kings<936>(5656) without<5565> us<2257>: and<2532> I would to God<3785><1065> ye did reign<936>(5656), that<2443> we<2249> also<2532> might reign with<4821>(5661) you<5213>.
4:9 {<1063>}我想<1380>(5719)神<2316>把我們<1473>使徒<652>明明列在<584>(5656)末後<2078>，好像<5613>定死罪<1935>的囚犯；因為<3754>我們成了<1096>(5675)一臺戲<2302>，給世<2889>{<2532>}人<444>和<2532>天使<32>觀看。
For<1063> I think<1380>(5719) that<3754> God<2316> hath set forth<584>(5656) us<2248> the apostles<652> last<2078>, as<5613> it were appointed to death<1935>: for<3754> we are made<1096>(5675) a spectacle<2302> unto the world<2889>, and<2532> to angels<32>, and<2532> to men<444>. {us...: or, us the last apostles, as} {spectacle: Gr. theatre}
4:10 我們<1473>為基督<5547>的緣故<1223>算是愚拙<3474>的，你們<4771>在<1722>基督<5547>裡倒是<1161>聰明<5429>的；我們<1473>軟弱<772>，你們<4771>倒<1161>強壯<2478>；你們<4771>有榮耀<1741>，我們<1473>倒<1161>被藐視<820>。
We<2249> are fools<3474> for<1223><0> Christ's<5547> sake<1223>, but<1161> ye<5210> are wise<5429> in<1722> Christ<5547>; we<2249> are weak<772>, but<1161> ye<5210> are strong<2478>; ye<5210> are honourable<1741>, but<1161> we<2249> are despised<820>.
4:11 直到<891>如今<737><5610>，我們還是<2532>又飢<3983>(5719)又<2532>渴<1372>(5719)，又<2532>赤身露體<1130>(5719)，又<2532>挨打<2852>(5743)，又<2532>沒有一定的住處<790>(5719)，
Even<891> unto this present<737> hour<5610> we<3983><0> both<2532> hunger<3983>(5719), and<2532> thirst<1372>(5725), and<2532> are naked<1130>(5719), and<2532> are buffeted<2852>(5743), and<2532> have no certain dwellingplace<790>(5719);
4:12 並且<2532>勞苦<2872>(5719)，親<2398>手<5495>做工<2038>(5740)。被人咒罵<3058>(5746)，我們就祝福<2127>(5719)；被人逼迫<1377>(5746)，我們就忍受<430>(5731)；
And<2532> labour<2872>(5719), working<2038>(5740) with our own<2398> hands<5495>: being reviled<3058>(5746), we bless<2127>(5719); being persecuted<1377>(5746), we suffer it<430>(5736):
4:13 被人毀謗<1425a>(5746)，我們就善勸<3870>(5719)。直到<2193>如今<737>，人還把我們看<5613>作<1096>(5675)世界<2889>上的污穢<4027>，萬物<3956>中的渣滓<4067>。
Being defamed<987>(5746), we intreat<3870>(5719): we are made<1096>(5675) as<5613> the filth<4027> of the world<2889>, and are the offscouring<4067> of all things<3956> unto<2193> this day<737>.
4:14 我寫<1125>(5719)這話<3778>，不<3756>是叫你們<4771>羞愧<1788>(5723)，乃是<235>警戒<3560>(5723)你們，好像<5613>我<1473>所親愛<27>的兒女<5043>一樣。
I write<1125>(5719) not<3756> these things<5023> to shame<1788>(5723) you<5209>, but<235> as<5613> my<3450> beloved<27> sons<5043> I warn<3560>(5719) you .
4:15 {<1063>}你們學{<1722>}基督<5547>的，師傅<3807>雖<1437>有<2192>(5725)一萬<3463>，為父<3962>的卻<235>是不<3756>多<4183>，因<1063>我<1473>在基督<5547>耶穌<2424>裡<1722>用<1223>福音<2098>生了<1080>(5656)你們<4771>。
For<1063> though<1437> ye have<2192>(5725) ten thousand<3463> instructors<3807> in<1722> Christ<5547>, yet<235> have ye not<3756> many<4183> fathers<3962>: for<1063> in<1722> Christ<5547> Jesus<2424> I<1473> have begotten<1080>(5656) you<5209> through<1223> the gospel<2098>.
4:16 所以<3767>，我求<3870>(5719)你們<4771>效法{<1096>}{(5737)}{<3402>}我<1473>。
Wherefore<3767> I beseech<3870>(5719) you<5209>, be ye<1096>(5737) followers<3402> of me<3450>.
4:17 因<1223>此<3778>我已打發<3992>(5656)提摩太<5095>到你們<4771>那裡去。他<3739>在<1722>主<2962>裡面，是<1510>(5719)我<1473>所親愛<27>、{<2532>}有忠心<4103>的兒子<5043>。他<3739>必提醒<363>(5692)你們<4771>，記念我<1473>在<1722>基督<5547>{<2424>}裡怎樣<3588>行事<3598>，{<2531>}在<1722>各處<3837>各<3956>教會<1577>中怎樣教導<1321>(5719)人。
For<1223><0> this<5124> cause<1223> have I sent<3992>(5656) unto you<5213> Timotheus<5095>, who<3739> is<2076>(5748) my<3450> beloved<27> son<5043>, and<2532> faithful<4103> in<1722> the Lord<2962>, who<3739> shall bring<363><0> you<5209> into remembrance<363>(5692) of my<3450> ways<3598> which<3588> be in<1722> Christ<5547>, as<2531> I teach<1321>(5719) every where<3837> in<1722> every<3956> church<1577>.
4:18 {<1161>}有些<5100>人自高自大<5448>(5681)，以為<5613>我<1473>不<3361>到<4314>你們<4771>那裡去<2064>(5740)；
Now<1161> some<5100> are puffed up<5448>(5681), as though<5613> I<3450> would<2064><0> not<3361> come<2064>(5740) to<4314> you<5209>.
4:19 然而<1161>，主<2962>若<1437>許<2309>(5661)我，我必快<5030>到<4314>你們<4771>那裡去<2064>(5695)，並且<2532>我所要知道<1097>(5695)的，不<3756>是那些自高自大<5448>(5772)之人的言語<3056>，乃<235>是他們的權能<1411>。
But<1161> I will come<2064>(5695) to<4314> you<5209> shortly<5030>, if<1437> the Lord<2962> will<2309>(5661), and<2532> will know<1097>(5695), not<3756> the speech<3056> of them which are puffed up<5448>(5772), but<235> the power<1411>.
4:20 因為<1063>神<2316>的國<932>不在乎<3756>{<1722>}言語<3056>，乃<235>在乎<1722>權能<1411>。
For<1063> the kingdom<932> of God<2316> is not<3756> in<1722> word<3056>, but<235> in<1722> power<1411>.
4:21 你們<2309>(5719)願意怎麼樣<5101>呢？是願意我帶著<1722>刑杖<4464>到<4314>你們<4771>那裡去<2064>(5661)呢？還是<2228>要我存<1722>慈愛<26>{<5037>}溫柔<4240>的心<4151>呢？
What<5101> will ye<2309>(5719)? shall I come<2064>(5632) unto<4314> you<5209> with<1722> a rod<4464>, or<2228> in<1722> love<26>, and<5037> in the spirit<4151> of meekness<4236>?
