3:1 {<3767>}這樣說來，猶太人<2453>有甚麼<5101>長處<4053>？{<2228>}割禮<4061>有甚麼<5101>益處<5622>呢？
What<5101> advantage<4053> then<3767> hath the Jew<2453>? or<2228> what<5101> profit<5622> is there of circumcision<4061>?
3:2 凡事<2596>大有<4183>好處{<3956>}{<5158>}：第一<4413>{<3303>}{<1063>}{<3754>}是上帝的<2316>聖言<3051>交託<4100>(5681)他們。
Much<4183> every<2596><3956> way<5158>: chiefly<4412>, because<3303><1063> that<3754> unto them were committed<4100>(5681) the oracles<3051> of God<2316>.
3:3 {<1063>}即便有<5100><1487>不信的<569>(5656)，這有何妨呢<5101>？<3361>難道他們的<846>不信<570>就廢掉<2673>(5692)上帝的<2316>信<4102>嗎？
For<1063> what<5101> if<1487> some<5100> did not believe<569>(5656)?<3361> shall<2673><0> their<846> unbelief<570> make<2673><0> the faith<4102> of God<2316> without effect<2673>(5692)?
3:4 斷乎不能{<3361>}<1096>(5665)！不如說{<1161>}，上帝<2316>是<1096>(5737)真實的<227>，{<1161>}人{<3956>}<444>都是虛謊的<5583>。如<2531>經上所記<1125>(5769)：<3704>{<302>}你{<1722>}責備人的時候{<4771>}{<3056>}，顯為公義<1344>(5686)；{<2532>}{<4771>}被人議論<2919>(5745)的時候{<1722>}，可以得勝<3528>(5692)。
God forbid<3361><1096>(5636): yea<1161>, let<1096><0> God<2316> be<1096>(5737) true<227>, but<1161> every<3956> man<444> a liar<5583>; as<2531> it is written<1125>(5769), That<3704> thou mightest<302> be justified<1344>(5686) in<1722> thy<4675> sayings<3056>, and<2532> mightest overcome<3528>(5661) when<1722> thou<4571> art judged<2919>(5745).
3:5 我且照著<2596>人<444>的常話說<3004>(5719)，{<1161>}{<1487>}我們的<1473>不義<93>若顯出<4921>(5719)上帝的<2316>義<1343>來，我們可以怎麼<5101>說<3004>(5692)呢？{<3361>}神<2316>降<2018>(5723)怒<3709>，是他不義<94>嗎？
But<1161> if<1487> our<2257> unrighteousness<93> commend<4921>(5719) the righteousness<1343> of God<2316>, what<5101> shall we say<2046>(5692)?<3361> Is God<2316> unrighteous<94> who taketh<2018>(5723) vengeance<3709>? (I speak<3004>(5719) as<2596> a man<444>)
3:6 斷乎不是<3361><1096>(5665)！若是這樣<1893>，上帝<2316>怎<4459>能審判<2919>(5692)世界<2889>呢？
God forbid<3361><1096>(5636): for then<1893> how<4459> shall<2919><0> God<2316> judge<2919>(5692)(5719) the world<2889>?
3:7 {<1161>}若<1487>上帝的<2316>真實<225>，因<1722>我的<1699>虛謊<5582>越發<4052>(5656)顯出{<1519>}他的<846>榮耀<1391>，為甚麼<5101>我還<2089>{<2504>}受審判<2919>(5743)，好像<5613>罪人<268>呢？
For<1063> if<1487> the truth<225> of God<2316> hath more abounded<4052>(5656) through<1722> my<1699> lie<5582> unto<1519> his<846> glory<1391>; why<5101> yet<2089> am<2919><0> I also<2504> judged<2919>(5743) as<5613> a sinner<268>?
3:8 {<2532>}為甚麼不<3361>說<3004>(5721)，{<3754>}我們可以作<4160>(5661)惡<2556>以<2443>成<2064>(5661)善<18>呢？這是<2531>毀謗<987>(5743)我們的人{<2532>}{<2531>}{<5100>}說<5346>(5719)我們<1473>有這話。這等人<3739>定罪<2917>是<1510>(5719)該當的<1738>。
And<2532> not<3361> rather , (as<2531> we be slanderously reported<987>(5743), and<2532> as<2531> some<5100> affirm<5346>(5748) that we<2248> say<3004>(5721),)<3754> Let us do<4160>(5661) evil<2556>, that<2443> good<18> may come<2064>(5632)? whose<3739> damnation<2917> is<2076>(5748) just<1738>.
3:9 {<3767>}這卻怎麼樣<5101>呢？我們比他們強<4284>(5731)嗎？{<3843>}決不是的<3756>！因<1063>我們已經證明<4256>(5662)：{<5037>}猶太人<2453>和<2532>希臘人<1672>都<3956>{<1510>}{(5721)}在罪惡<266>之下<5259>。
What<5101> then<3767>? are we better<4284>(5736) than they ? No<3756>, in no wise<3843>: for<1063> we have before proved<4256>(5662) both<5037> Jews<2453> and<2532> Gentiles<1672>, that they are<1511>(5750) all<3956> under<5259> sin<266>; {proved: Gr. charged}
3:10 就如<2531>經上所記<1125>(5769)：{<3754>}沒<3756>有<1510>(5719)義人<1342>，連一個<1520>也沒有<3761>。
As<2531> it is written<1125>(5769),<3754> There is<2076>(5748) none<3756> righteous<1342>, no, not<3761> one<1520>:
3:11 沒<3756>有<1510>(5719)明白的<4920>(5723)；沒<3756>有<1510>(5719)尋求<1567>(5723)上帝<2316>的；
There is<2076>(5748) none<3756> that understandeth<4920>(5723), there is<2076>(5748) none<3756> that seeketh after<1567>(5723) God<2316>.
3:12 都<3956>是偏離正路<1578>(5656)，一同<260>變為無用<889>(5681)。沒<3756>有<1510>(5719)行<4160>(5723)善<5544>的，連一個<1520>也沒<3756>有<1510>(5719){<2193>}。
They are<1578><0> all<3956> gone out of the way<1578>(5656), they are<889><0> together<260> become unprofitable<889>(5681); there is<2076>(5748) none<3756> that doeth<4160>(5723) good<5544>, no, not<3756> one<2076>(5748)<2193><1520>.
3:13 他們的<846>喉嚨<2995>是敞開的<455>(5772)墳墓<5028>；他們<846>用舌頭<1100>弄詭詐<1387>(5707)，{<846>}嘴唇<5491>裡{<5259>}有虺蛇<785>的毒氣<2447>，
Their<846> throat<2995> is an open<455>(5772) sepulchre<5028>; with their<846> tongues<1100> they have used deceit<1387>(5707); the poison<2447> of asps<785> is under<5259> their<846> lips<5491>:
3:14 {<3739>}滿<1073>(5719)口<4750>是咒罵<685>{<2532>}苦毒<4088>。
Whose<3739> mouth<4750> is full<1073>(5719) of cursing<685> and<2532> bitterness<4088>:
3:15 殺人流<1632>(5658)血<129>，他們的<846>腳<4228>飛跑<3691>，
Their<846> feet<4228> are swift<3691> to shed<1632>(5658) blood<129>:
3:16 {<1722>}{<846>}所經過的路<3598>便行殘害<4938>{<2532>}暴虐<5004>的事。
Destruction<4938> and<2532> misery<5004> are in<1722> their<846> ways<3598>:
3:17 {<2532>}平安<1515>的路<3598>，他們未<3756>曾知道<1097>(5656)；
And<2532> the way<3598> of peace<1515> have<1097><0> they not<3756> known<1097>(5627):
3:18 他們<846>眼<3788>中{<561>}{<1510>}{(5719)}不<3756>怕<5401>上帝<2316>。
There is<2076>(5748) no<3756> fear<5401> of God<2316> before<561> their<846> eyes<3788>.
3:19 {<1161>}我們曉得<3608a>(5758){<3754>}{<3745>}律法<3551>上的話{<3004>}{(5719)}都是對律法<3551>以下<1722>之人說<2980>(5719)的，好<2443>塞住<5420>(5686)各人<3956>的口<4750>，{<2532>}叫普<3956>世的人<2889>都{<1096>}{(5667)}伏在上帝<2316>審判<5267>之下。
Now<1161> we know<1492>(5758) that<3754> what things soever<3745> the law<3551> saith<3004>(5719), it saith<2980>(5719) to them who are under<1722> the law<3551>: that<2443> every<3956> mouth<4750> may be stopped<5420>(5652), and<2532> all<3956> the world<2889> may become<1096>(5638) guilty<5267> before God<2316>. {guilty...: or, subject to the judgment of God}
3:20 所以<1360>凡<3956>有血氣的<4561>，沒有<3756>一個因<1537>行<2041>律法<3551>能在上帝{<846>}面前<1799>稱義<1344>(5701)，因為<1063>{<1223>}律法<3551>本是叫人知<1922>罪<266>。
Therefore<1360> by<1537> the deeds<2041> of the law<3551> there shall<1344><0> no<3956><3756> flesh<4561> be justified<1344>(5701) in his<846> sight<1799>: for<1063> by<1223> the law<3551> is the knowledge<1922> of sin<266>.
3:21 但<1161>如今<3570>，上帝的<2316>義<1343>在律法<3551>以外<5565>已經顯明出來<5319>(5769)，{<5259>}有律法<3551>和<2532>先知<4396>為證<3140>(5746)：
But<1161> now<3570> the righteousness<1343> of God<2316> without<5565> the law<3551> is manifested<5319>(5769), being witnessed<3140>(5746) by<5259> the law<3551> and<2532> the prophets<4396>;
3:22 就是<1161>上帝的<2316>義<1343>，因<1223>信<4102>耶穌<2424>基督<5547>加給{<1519>}一切<3956>相信<4100>(5723)的人，{<1063>}並沒有<3756>{<1510>}{(5719)}分別<1293>。
Even<1161> the righteousness<1343> of God<2316> which is by<1223> faith<4102> of Jesus<2424> Christ<5547> unto<1519> all<3956> and<2532> upon<1909> all<3956> them that believe<4100>(5723): for<1063> there is<2076>(5748) no<3756> difference<1293>:
3:23 因為<1063>世人{<3956>}都犯了罪<264>(5656)，{<2532>}虧缺了<5302>(5743)上帝的<2316>榮耀<1391>；
For<1063> all<3956> have sinned<264>(5627), and<2532> come short<5302>(5743) of the glory<1391> of God<2316>;
3:24 如今卻蒙上帝的{<846>}恩典<5485>，因<1223>基督<5547>耶穌的<2424>{<1722>}救贖<629>，就白白地<1432>稱義<1344>(5746)。
Being justified<1344>(5746) freely<1432> by his<846> grace<5485> through<1223> the redemption<629> that is in<1722> Christ<5547> Jesus<2424>:
3:25 上帝<2316>設立<4388>(5668)耶穌{<3739>}作挽回祭<2435>，是憑著<1722>耶穌的{<846>}血<129>，藉著<1223>人的信<4102>，要{<1519>}顯明<1732>上帝的{<846>}義<1343>；因為<1223>他用忍耐的心寬容<3929>人先時<4266>(5761)所犯的罪<265>，
Whom<3739> God<2316> hath set forth<4388>(5639) to be a propitiation<2435> through<1223> faith<4102> in<1722> his<846> blood<129>, to<1519> declare<1732> his<846> righteousness<1343> for<1223> the remission<3929> of sins<265> that are past<4266>(5761), through<1722> the forbearance<463> of God<2316>; {set forth: or, foreordained} {remission: or, passing over}
3:26 {<463>}{<1722>}{<2316>}{<4314>}好在<1722>今<3568>時<2540>顯明<1732>他的<846>義<1343>，{<1519>}使人知道他自己為<1510>(5721)義<1342>，也<2532>{<846>}稱信<4102>{<1537>}耶穌<2424>的人為義<1344>(5723)。
To<4314> declare<1732>, I say , at<1722> this<3568> time<2540> his<846> righteousness<1343>: that<1519> he might be<1511>(5750) just<1342>, and<2532> the justifier<1344>(5723) of him<846> which believeth<4102> in<1537> Jesus<2424>.
3:27 既是這樣<3767>，哪裡<4226>能誇口<2746>呢？沒有<1576>(5681)可誇的了。用<1223>何<4169>法<3551>沒有的呢？是用立功<2041>之法嗎？不是<3780>，{<235>}乃用<1223>信<4102>主之法<3551>。
Where<4226> is boasting<2746> then<3767>? It is excluded<1576>(5681). By<1223> what<4169> law<3551>? of works<2041>? Nay<3780>: but<235> by<1223> the law<3551> of faith<4102>.
3:28 所以（有古卷：因為<1063>）我們看定了<3049>(5736)：人<444>稱義<1344>(5745)是因著信<4102>，不在乎{<5565>}遵行<2041>律法<3551>。
Therefore<3767> we conclude<3049>(5736) that a man<444> is justified<1344>(5745) by faith<4102> without<5565> the deeds<2041> of the law<3551>.
3:29 難道<2228>上帝<2316>只<3441>作猶太人的<2453>上帝嗎？不<3780>也是<2532>作外邦人的<1484>上帝嗎？是的<3483>，也<2532>作外邦人的<1484>上帝。
Is he<2228> the God<2316> of the Jews<2453> only<3440>? is he not<3780> also<1161><2532> of the Gentiles<1484>? Yes<3483>, of the Gentiles<1484> also<2532>:
3:30 上帝<2316>既是<1512>一位<1520>，他{<3739>}就要因<1537>信<4102>稱那受割禮的<4061>為義<1344>(5692)，也<2532>要因<1223>信<4102>稱那未受割禮的<203>為義。
Seeing<1897> it is one<1520> God<2316>, which<3739> shall justify<1344>(5692) the circumcision<4061> by<1537> faith<4102>, and<2532> uncircumcision<203> through<1223> faith<4102>.
3:31 這樣<3767>，我們因<1223>信<4102>廢了<2673>(5719)律法<3551>嗎？斷乎不<3361>是<1096>(5665)！更是<235>堅固<2476>(5719)律法<3551>。
Do we<2673><0> then<3767> make void<2673>(5719) the law<3551> through<1223> faith<4102>? God forbid<3361><1096>(5636): yea<235>, we establish<2476>(5719) the law<3551>.
