And<2532>, behold<2400>(5628), there was<2258>(5713) a certain<5100> man<444> before<1715> him<846> which had the dropsy<5203>.
14:3 {<2532>}耶穌<2424>對<4314>律法師<3544>和<2532>法利賽人<5330>{<611>}{(5679)}{<3004>}{(5656)}說<3004>(5723)：「安息日<4521>治病<2323>(5658)可以{<2228>}不<3756>可以<1832>(5719)？」
And<2532> Jesus<2424> answering<611>(5679) spake<2036>(5627) unto<4314> the lawyers<3544> and<2532> Pharisees<5330>, saying<3004>(5723), Is it<1487> lawful<1832>(5748) to heal<2323>(5721) on the sabbath day<4521>?
14:4 他們卻<1161>不言語<2270>(5656)。耶穌就<2532>{<1949>}{(5666)}治好<2390>(5662)那人{<846>}，{<2532>}叫他走<630>(5656)了；
And<1161> they held their peace<2270>(5656). And<2532> he took<1949>(5637) him , and healed<2390>(5662) him<846>, and<2532> let him go<630>(5656);
14:5 便<2532>對<4314>他們<846>說<3004>(5656)：「你們<4771>中間誰<5101>有{<5207>}驢或<2228>有牛<1016>，在<1722>安息日<4521>{<2250>}掉<4098>(5695)在<1519>井<5421>裡，{<2532>}不<3756>立時<2112>拉<385>(5692)牠<846>上來呢？」
And<2532> answered<611>(5679) them<4314><846>, saying<2036>(5627), Which<5101> of you<5216> shall have an ass<3688> or<2228> an ox<1016> fallen<1706>(5695) into<1519> a pit<5421>, and<2532> will<385><0> not<3756> straightway<2112> pull<385><0> him<846> out<385>(5692) on<1722> the sabbath<4521> day<2250>?
14:6 {<2532>}他們不<3756>能<2480>(5656)對答<470>(5677){<4314>}這<3778>話。
And<2532> they could<2480>(5656) not<3756> answer<470><0> him<846> again<470>(5677) to<4314> these things<5023>.
14:7 {<1161>}耶穌見<1907>(5723){<4314>}所請<2564>(5772)的客{<4459>}揀擇<1586>(5710)首位<4411>，就{<3004>}{(5707)}用比喻<3850>對<4314>他們<846>說<3004>(5723)：
And<1161> he put forth<3004>(5707) a parable<3850> to<4314> those which were bidden<2564>(5772), when he marked<1907>(5723) how<4459> they chose out<1586>(5710) the chief rooms<4411>; saying<3004>(5723) unto<4314> them<846>,
14:8 「{<3752>}你被<5259>人<5100>請去<2564>(5686)赴<1519>婚姻的筵席<1062>，不要<3361>坐<2625>(5686)在<1519>首位<4411>上，恐怕<3379>有{<1510>}{(5725)}比你<4771>尊貴的<1784>客被<5259>他<846>請來<2564>(5772)；
When<3752> thou art bidden<2564>(5686) of<5259> any<5100> man to<1519> a wedding<1062>, sit<2625><0> not<3361> down<2625>(5686) in<1519> the highest room<4411>; lest<3379> a more honourable man<1784> than thou<4675> be<5600>(5753) bidden<2564>(5772) of<5259> him<846>;
14:9 {<2532>}那請<2564>(5660)你們<4771>的人{<2532>}{<846>}前來<2064>(5660)對你<4771>說<3004>(5692)：『讓<1325>(5657)座<5117>給這一位<3778>吧！』{<2532>}{<5119>}你就{<3326>}羞羞慚慚地<152>{<757>}{(5698)}退到<2722>(5721)末<2078>位<5117>上去了。
And<2532> he that bade<2564>(5660) thee<4571> and<2532> him<846> come<2064>(5631) and say<2046>(5692) to thee<4671>, Give<1325>(5628) this man<5129> place<5117>; and<2532><5119> thou begin<756>(5672) with<3326> shame<152> to take<2722>(5721) the lowest<2078> room<5117>.
14:10 {<235>}{<3752>}你被請<2564>(5686)的時候，就去<4198>(5679)坐<377>(5657)在<1519>末<2078>位<5117>上，好叫<2443>{<3752>}那請<2564>(5761)你<4771>的人來<2064>(5661)對你<4771>說<3004>(5692)：『朋友<5384>，請上座<4320>(5657)<511>。』那時<5119>，你<4771>在{<4771>}{<3956>}同席<4873>(5740)的人面前<1799>就有<1510>(5695)光彩<1391>了。
But<235> when<3752> thou art bidden<2564>(5686), go<4198>(5679) and sit down<377>(5657) in<1519> the lowest<2078> room<5117>; that<2443> when<3752> he that bade<2564>(5761) thee<4571> cometh<2064>(5632), he may say<2036>(5632) unto thee<4671>, Friend<5384>, go up<4320>(5628) higher<511>: then<5119> shalt thou<4671> have<2071>(5704) worship<1391> in the presence<1799> of them that sit at meat<4873>(5740) with thee<4671>.
14:11 因為<3754>，凡<3956>自<1438>高<5312>(5723)的，必降為卑<5013>(5701)；{<2532>}自<1438>卑<5013>(5723)的，必升為高<5312>(5701)。」
For<3754> whosoever<3956> exalteth<5312>(5723) himself<1438> shall be abased<5013>(5701); and<2532> he that humbleth<5013>(5723) himself<1438> shall be exalted<5312>(5701).
14:12 {<1161>}耶穌又<2532>對請<2564>(5761)他<846>的人說<3004>(5707)：「{<3752>}你擺設<4160>(5725)午飯<712>或<2228>晚飯<1173>，不要<3361>請<5455>(5720)你的<4771>朋友<5384>、{<3366>}{<4771>}弟兄<80>、{<3366>}{<4771>}親屬<4773>，和{<3366>}富足的<4145>鄰舍<1069>，恐怕<3379>他們<846>也<2532>請<479>(5661)你<4771>，你<4771>就<2532>得了<1096>(5667)報答<468>。
Then<1161> said he<3004>(5707) also<2532> to him that bade<2564>(5761) him<846>, When<3752> thou makest<4160>(5725) a dinner<712> or<2228> a supper<1173>, call<5455>(5720) not<3361> thy<4675> friends<5384>, nor<3366> thy<4675> brethren<80>, neither<3366> thy<4675> kinsmen<4773>, nor<3366> thy rich<4145> neighbours<1069>; lest<3379> they<846> also<2532> bid<479><0> thee<4571> again<479>(5661), and<2532> a recompence<468> be made<1096>(5638) thee<4671>.
14:13 {<3752>}你擺設<4160>(5725)筵席<1403>，倒要<235>請<2564>(5720)那貧窮的<4434>、殘廢的<376>、瘸腿的<5560>、瞎眼的<5185>，你就<2532>有<1510>(5695)福<3107>了！
But<235> when<3752> thou makest<4160>(5725) a feast<1403>, call<2564>(5720) the poor<4434>, the maimed<376>, the lame<5560>, the blind<5185>:
14:14 因為<3754>他們沒<3756>有<2192>(5719)甚麼可報答<467>(5658)你<4771>。到<1722>義人<1342>復活<386>的時候，{<1063>}你<4771>要得著報答<467>(5701)。」
And<2532> thou shalt be<2071>(5704) blessed<3107>; for<3754> they cannot<3756><2192>(5719) recompense<467>(5629) thee<4671>: for<1063> thou<4671> shalt be recompensed<467>(5701) at<1722> the resurrection<386> of the just<1342>.
14:15 {<1161>}同席<4873>(5740)的有一人<5100>聽見<191>(5660)這<3778>話，就對耶穌{<846>}說<3004>(5656)：「{<3748>}在<1722>　神<2316>國<932>裡吃<2068>(5698)飯<740>的有福了<3107>！」
And<1161> when one<5100> of them that sat at meat with him<4873>(5740) heard<191>(5660) these things<5023>, he said<2036>(5627) unto him<846>, Blessed<3107> is he<3739> that shall eat<5315>(5695) bread<740> in<1722> the kingdom<932> of God<2316>.
14:16 {<1161>}耶穌對他<846>說<3004>(5656)：「有一<5100>人<444>擺設<4160>(5707)大<3173>筵席<1173>，{<2532>}請了<2564>(5656)許多<4183>客。
Then<1161> said he<2036>(5627) unto him<846>, A certain<5100> man<444> made<4160>(5656) a great<3173> supper<1173>, and<2532> bade<2564>(5656) many<4183>:
14:17 {<2532>}到了坐席<1173>的時候<5610>，打發<649>(5656){<846>}僕人<1401>去對所請<2564>(5772)的人說<3004>(5658)：『請來<2064>(5737)吧！{<3754>}{<2235>}樣樣都{<1510>}{(5719)}齊備了<2092>。』
And<2532> sent<649>(5656) his<846> servant<1401> at supper<1173> time<5610> to say<2036>(5629) to them that were bidden<2564>(5772), Come<2064>(5737); for<3754> all things<3956> are<2076>(5748) now<2235> ready<2092>.
14:18 {<2532>}眾人<3956>{<575>}一<1520>口同音地{<757>}{(5668)}推辭<3868>(5738)。頭一個<4413>{<846>}說<3004>(5656)：『我買<59>(5656)了一塊地<68>，{<2532>}必須<2192>(5719)<318>去<1831>(5660)看看<3708>(5658){<846>}。請<2065>(5719)你<4771>{<2192>}{(5720)}准我<1473>辭<3868>(5772)了。』
And<2532> they all<3956> with<575> one<3391> consent began<756>(5662) to make excuse<3868>(5738). The first<4413> said<2036>(5627) unto him<846>, I have bought<59>(5656) a piece of ground<68>, and<2532> I must<2192>(5719) needs<318> go<1831>(5629) and<2532> see<1492>(5629) it<846>: I pray<2065>(5719) thee<4571> have<2192>(5720) me<3165> excused<3868>(5772).
14:19 又<2532>有一個{<2087>}說<3004>(5656)：『我買<59>(5656)了五<4002>對<2201>牛<1016>，{<2532>}要去<4198>(5736)試一試<1381>(5658){<846>}。請<2065>(5719)你<4771>{<2192>}{(5720)}准我<1473>辭<3868>(5772)了。』
And<2532> another<2087> said<2036>(5627), I have bought<59>(5656) five<4002> yoke<2201> of oxen<1016>, and<2532> I go<4198>(5736) to prove<1381>(5658) them<846>: I pray<2065>(5719) thee<4571> have<2192>(5720) me<3165> excused<3868>(5772).
14:20 又<2532>有一個{<2087>}說<3004>(5656)：『我才娶<1060>(5656)了妻<1135>，{<2532>}所以<1223><3778>不<3756>能<1410>(5736)去<2064>(5658)。』
And<2532> another<2087> said<2036>(5627), I have married<1060>(5656) a wife<1135>, and<2532> therefore<1223><5124> I cannot<3756><1410>(5736) come<2064>(5629).
14:21 {<2532>}那僕人<1401>回來<3854>(5666)，把這<3778>事都告訴<518>(5656)了{<846>}主人<2962>。{<5119>}家主<3617>就動怒<3710>(5685)，對{<846>}僕人<1401>說<3004>(5656)：『快<5030>出去<1831>(5657)，到<1519>城<4172>裡大街<4113>{<2532>}小巷<4505>，{<2532>}領<1521>(5657)那貧窮的<4434>、{<2532>}殘廢的<376>、{<2532>}瞎眼的<5560>、{<2532>}瘸腿的<5185>來{<5602>}。』
So<2532> that<1565> servant<1401> came<3854>(5637), and shewed<518>(5656) his<846> lord<2962> these things<5023>. Then<5119> the master of the house<3617> being angry<3710>(5685) said<2036>(5627) to his<846> servant<1401>, Go out<1831>(5628) quickly<5030> into<1519> the streets<4113> and<2532> lanes<4505> of the city<4172>, and<2532> bring in<1521>(5628) hither<5602> the poor<4434>, and<2532> the maimed<376>, and<2532> the halt<5560>, and<2532> the blind<5185>.
14:22 {<2532>}僕人<1401>說<3004>(5656)：『主<2962>啊，{<3739>}你所吩咐<2004>(5656)的已經辦<1096>(5758)了，{<2532>}還<2089>有<1510>(5719)空座<5117>。』
And<2532> the servant<1401> said<2036>(5627), Lord<2962>, it is done<1096>(5754) as<5613> thou hast commanded<2004>(5656), and<2532> yet<2089> there is<2076>(5748) room<5117>.
14:23 {<2532>}主人<2962>對<4314>僕人<1401>說<3004>(5656)：『你出去<1831>(5657)到<1519>路<3598>上和<2532>籬笆<5418>那裡，{<2532>}勉強<315>(5657)人進來<1525>(5658)，{<2443>}坐滿<1072>(5686)我的<1473>屋子<3624>。
And<2532> the lord<2962> said<2036>(5627) unto<4314> the servant<1401>, Go out<1831>(5628) into<1519> the highways<3598> and<2532> hedges<5418>, and<2532> compel<315>(5657) them to come in<1525>(5629), that<2443> my<3450> house<3624> may be filled<1072>(5686).
14:24 {<1063>}我告訴<3004>(5719)你們<4771>，{<3754>}{<3588>}先前所請<2564>(5772)的{<1565>}人<435>沒有一個<3762>得嘗<1089>(5695)我的<1473>筵席<1173>。』」
For<1063> I say<3004>(5719) unto you<5213>, That<3754> none<3762> of those<1565> men<435> which<3588> were bidden<2564>(5772) shall taste<1089>(5695) of my<3450> supper<1173>.
14:25 {<1161>}有極多的<4183>人{<3793>}和耶穌{<846>}同行<4848>(5708)。{<2532>}他轉過來<4762>(5685)對<4314>他們<846>說<3004>(5656)：
And<1161> there went<4848>(5711) great<4183> multitudes<3793> with him<846>: and<2532> he turned<4762>(5651), and said<2036>(5627) unto<4314> them<846>,
14:26 {<1487>}「人{<5100>}到<4314>我<1473>這裡來<2064>(5736)，{<2532>}若不<3756>愛我勝過愛（愛我勝過愛：原文是恨<3404>(5719)）自己的<1438>父<3962>{<2532>}母<3384>、{<2532>}妻子<1135>、{<2532>}兒女<5043>、{<2532>}弟兄<80>、{<2532>}姊妹<79>，{<2089>}{<5037>}和<2532>自己的<1438>性命<5590>，就不<3756>能<1410>(5736)作<1510>(5721)我的<1473>門徒<3101>。
If any<1536> man come<2064>(5736) to<4314> me<3165>, and<2532> hate<3404>(5719) not<3756> his<1438> father<3962>, and<2532> mother<3384>, and<2532> wife<1135>, and<2532> children<5043>, and<2532> brethren<80>, and<2532> sisters<79>, yea<2089>, and<1161> his own<1438> life<5590> also<2532>, he cannot<3756><1410>(5736) be<1511>(5750) my<3450> disciple<3101>.
14:27 {<2532>}凡{<3748>}不<3756>背著<941>(5719)自己<1438>十字架<4716><2064>(5736)跟從<3694>我的<1473>，也不<3756>能<1410>(5736)作<1510>(5721)我的<1473>門徒<3101>。
And<2532> whosoever<3748> doth<941><0> not<3756> bear<941>(5719) his<846> cross<4716>, and<2532> come<2064>(5736) after<3694> me<3450>, cannot<3756><1410>(5736) be<1511>(5750) my<3450> disciple<3101>.
14:28 {<1063>}{<1537>}你們<4771>哪一個<5101>要<2309>(5723)蓋<3618>(5658)一座樓<4444>，不<3780>先<4413>坐下<2523>(5660)算計<5585>(5719)花費<1160>，{<1487>}能<2192>(5719){<1519>}蓋成<535>不能呢？
For<1063> which<5101> of<1537> you<5216>, intending<2309>(5723) to build<3618>(5658) a tower<4444>, sitteth<2523><0> not<3780> down<2523>(5660) first<4412>, and counteth<5585>(5719) the cost<1160>, whether<1487> he have<2192>(5719) sufficient to<4314> finish<535> it ?
14:29 恐怕<2443><3379>{<846>}安<5087>(5660)了地基<2310>，{<2532>}不<3361>能<2480>(5723)成功<1615>(5658)，{<3956>}看見<2334>(5723)的人都{<757>}{(5672)}笑話<1702>(5721)他<846>，說<3004>(5723)：
Lest<3363> haply<3379>, after he<846> hath laid<5087>(5631) the foundation<2310>, and<2532> is<2480><0> not<3361> able<2480>(5723) to finish<1615>(5658) it , all<3956> that behold<2334>(5723) it begin<756>(5672) to mock<1702>(5721) him<846>,
14:30 『{<3754>}這個<3778>人<444>開<757>(5668)了工{<3618>}{(5721)}，卻<2532>不<3756>能<2480>(5656)完工<1615>(5658)。』
Saying<3004>(5723), This<3754><3778> man<444> began<756>(5662) to build<3618>(5721), and<2532> was<2480><0> not<3756> able<2480>(5656) to finish<1615>(5658).
14:31 或是<2228>一個<5101>王<935>出去<4198>(5740)和別的<2087>王<935>打仗<4820>(5658){<1519>}{<4171>}，豈不<3780>先<4413>坐下<2523>(5660)酌量<1011>(5698)，{<1487>}{<1510>}{(5719)}能<1415>用<1722>一萬<1176><5505>兵去敵<5221>(5658)那領{<3326>}二萬<1501><5505>兵來<2064>(5740)攻打{<1909>}他<846>的嗎？
Or<2228> what<5101> king<935>, going<4198>(5740) to make<4820>(5629) war<4171> against<1519> another<2087> king<935>, sitteth<2523><0> not<3780> down<2523>(5660) first<4412>, and consulteth<1011>(5736) whether<1487> he be<2076>(5748) able<1415> with<1722> ten<1176> thousand<5505> to meet<528>(5658) him that cometh<2064>(5740) against<1909> him<846> with<3326> twenty<1501> thousand<5505>?
14:32 若是不能<1487><1161><3361><1065>，就趁敵人{<846>}{<1510>}{(5723)}還<2089>遠<4206>的時候，派<649>(5660)使者<4242>去求<2065>(5719){<4314>}和息<1515>的條款。
Or else<1490>, while the other<846> is<5607>(5752) yet<2089> a great way off<4206>, he sendeth<649>(5660) an ambassage<4242>, and desireth<2065>(5719) conditions<4314> of peace<1515>.
14:33 {<3767>}這樣<3779>，{<3956>}{<1537>}你們<4771>無論甚麼人，{<3739>}若不<3756>撇下<657>(5731)一切<3956>{<1438>}所有的<5225>(5723)，就不<3756>能<1410>(5736)作<1510>(5721)我的<1473>門徒<3101>。」
So<3779> likewise<3767>, whosoever<3956> he be of<1537> you<5216> that<3739> forsaketh<657>(5731) not<3756> all<3956> that he hath<5224>(5723)<1438>, he cannot<3756><1410>(5736) be<1511>(5750) my<3450> disciple<3101>.
14:34 {<3767>}「鹽<217>本是好的<2570>；{<1161>}{<2532>}鹽<217>若<1437>失了味<3471>(5686)，可用<1722>甚麼<5101>叫它再鹹<741>(5701)呢？
Salt<217> is good<2570>: but<1161> if<1437> the salt<217> have lost his savour<3471>(5686), wherewith<1722><5101> shall it be seasoned<741>(5701)?
14:35 {<3777>}或用在<1519>田<1093>裡，或堆在<1519>糞<2874>裡，都{<1510>}{(5719)}不<3777>合式<2111>，只好丟<906>(5719){<846>}在外面<1854>。有<2192>(5723)耳<3775>可聽<191>(5721)的，就應當聽<191>(5720)！」
It is<2076>(5748) neither<3777> fit<2111> for<1519> the land<1093>, nor yet<3777> for<1519> the dunghill<2874>; but men cast<906>(5719) it<846> out<1854>. He that hath<2192>(5723) ears<3775> to hear<191>(5721), let him hear<191>(5720).
