Then<5119> spake<2980>(5656) Jesus<2424> to the multitude<3793>, and<2532> to his<846> disciples<3101>,
23:2 說<3004>(5723)：「文士<1122>和<2532>法利賽人<5330>坐<2523>(5656)在<1909>摩西的<3475>位<2515>上，
Saying<3004>(5723), The scribes<1122> and<2532> the Pharisees<5330> sit<2523>(5656) in<1909> Moses<3475>' seat<2515>:
23:3 {<3767>}凡{<3956>}{<3745>}<1437>他們所吩咐<3004>(5661)你們<4771>的，你們都要謹守<5083>(5720){<2532>}遵行<4160>(5657)。但<1161>不<3361>要<4160>(5720)效法<2596>他們的<846>行為<2041>；因為<1063>他們能說<3004>(5719)，{<2532>}不能<3756>行<4160>(5719)。
All<3956> therefore<3767> whatsoever<302><3745> they bid<2036>(5632) you<5213> observe<5083>(5721), that observe<5083>(5720) and<2532> do<4160>(5720); but<1161> do<4160>(5720) not<3361> ye after<2596> their<846> works<2041>: for<1063> they say<3004>(5719), and<2532> do<4160>(5719) not<3756>.
23:4 {<1161>}他們把難擔的<1419>{<2532>}重<926>擔<5413>捆起來<1195>(5719)，{<2532>}擱<2007>(5719)在<1909>人的<444>肩<5606>上，但<1161>自己<846>一個{<846>}指頭<1147>也不<3756>肯<2309>(5719)動<2795>(5658){<846>}。
For<1063> they bind<1195>(5719) heavy<926> burdens<5413> and<2532> grievous to be borne<1419>, and<2532> lay<2007>(5719) them on<1909> men's<444> shoulders<5606>; but<1161> they themselves will<2309>(5719) not<3756> move<2795>(5658) them<846> with one of their<846> fingers<1147>.
23:5 {<1161>}他們<846>一切<3956>所做<4160>(5719)的事<2041>都是要<4314>叫人<444>看見<2300>(5683)，所以{<1063>}將{<846>}佩戴的經文<5440>做寬了<4115>(5719)，{<2532>}衣裳的繸子<2899>做長了<3170>(5719)，
But<1161> all<3956> their<846> works<2041> they do<4160>(5719) for<4314> to be seen<2300>(5683) of men<444>:<1161> they make broad<4115>(5719) their<846> phylacteries<5440>, and<2532> enlarge<3170>(5719) the borders<2899> of their<846> garments<2440>, {phylacteries: pieces of parchment containing sentences of the law}
23:6 {<1161>}喜愛<5368>(5719)筵席<1173>上<1722>的首座<4411>，{<2532>}會堂<4864>裡<1722>的高位<4410>，
And<5037> love<5368>(5719) the uppermost rooms<4411> at<1722> feasts<1173>, and<2532> the chief seats<4410> in<1722> the synagogues<4864>,
23:7 又<2532>喜愛{<5259>}人<444>在<1722>街市<58>上問他安<783>，{<2532>}稱呼<2564>(5745)他拉比<4461>（拉比就是夫子）。
And<2532> greetings<783> in<1722> the markets<58>, and<2532> to be called<2564>(5745) of<5259> men<444>, Rabbi<4461>, Rabbi<4461>.
23:8 但<1161>你們<4771>不要<3361>受拉比<4461>的稱呼<2564>(5686)，因為<1063>只有一位<1520>是<1510>(5719)你們的<4771>夫子<1320>；{<1161>}你們<4771>都<3956>是<1510>(5719)弟兄<80>。
But<1161> be<2564><0> not<3361> ye<5210> called<2564>(5686) Rabbi<4461>: for<1063> one<1520> is<2076>(5748) your<5216> Master<2519>, even Christ<5547>; and<1161> all<3956> ye<5210> are<2075>(5748) brethren<80>.
23:9 也<2532>不要<3361>稱呼<2564>(5661)地<1093>上<1909>的人為{<4771>}父<3962>，因為<1063>只有一位<1520>是<1510>(5719)你們的<4771>父<3962>，就是{<3588>}在天上的<3770>父。
And<2532> call<2564>(5661) no<3361> man your<5216> father<3962> upon<1909> the earth<1093>: for<1063> one<1520> is<2076>(5748) your<5216> Father<3962>, which<3588> is in<1722> heaven<3772>.
23:10 也不要<3366>受師尊<2519>的稱呼<2564>(5686)，因為<3754>只有一位<1520>是<1510>(5719)你們的<4771>師尊<2519>，就是基督<5547>。
Neither<3366> be ye called<2564>(5686) masters<2519>: for<1063> one<1520> is<2076>(5748) your<5216> Master<2519>, even Christ<5547>.
23:11 {<1161>}你們<4771>中間誰為大<3173>，誰就要作<1510>(5695)你們的<4771>用人<1249>。
But<1161> he that is greatest<3187> among you<5216> shall be<2071>(5704) your<5216> servant<1249>.
23:12 {<1161>}凡<3748>自<1438>高<5312>(5692)的，必降為卑<5013>(5701)；{<2532>}{<3748>}自<1438>卑<5013>(5692)的，必升為高<5312>(5701)。
And<1161> whosoever<3748> shall exalt<5312>(5692) himself<1438> shall be abased<5013>(5701); and<2532> he<3748> that shall humble<5013>(5692) himself<1438> shall be exalted<5312>(5701).
23:13 「{<1161>}你們<4771>這假冒為善的<5273>文士<1122>和<2532>法利賽人<5330>有禍了<3759>！因為<3754>你們正當人<444>前<1715>，把天<3772>國<932>的門關了<2808>(5719)，{<1063>}自己{<4771>}不<3761>進去<1525>(5736)，正要進去<1525>(5740)的人，你們也不<3756>容<863>(5719)他們進去<1525>(5658)。（有古卷加：
But<1161> woe<3759> unto you<5213>, scribes<1122> and<2532> Pharisees<5330>, hypocrites<5273>! for<3754> ye shut up<2808>(5719) the kingdom<932> of heaven<3772> against<1715> men<444>: for<1063> ye<5210> neither<3761> go in<1525>(5736) yourselves , neither<3756> suffer ye<863>(5719) them that are entering<1525>(5740) to go in<1525>(5629).
23:14 你們<4771>這假冒為善的<5273>文士<1122>和<2532>法利賽人<5330>有禍了<3759>！因為<3754>你們侵吞<2719>(5719)寡婦的<5503>家產<3614>，{<2532>}假意<4392>做很長的<3117>禱告<4336>(5740)，所以<1223><3778>要受<2983>(5695)更重的<4053>刑罰<2917>。）
Woe<3759> unto you<5213>, scribes<1122> and<2532> Pharisees<5330>, hypocrites<5273>! for<3754> ye devour<2719>(5719) widows<5503>' houses<3614>, and<2532> for a pretence<4392> make<4336><0> long<3117> prayer<4336>(5740): therefore<1223><5124> ye shall receive<2983>(5695) the greater<4055> damnation<2917>.
23:15 「你們<4771>這假冒為善的<5273>文士<1122>和<2532>法利賽人<5330>有禍了<3759>！因為<3754>你們走遍<4013>(5719)洋海<2281>{<2532>}陸地<3584>，勾引<4160>(5658)一個<1520>人入教<4339>，{<2532>}既<3752>入了教<1096>(5667)，卻使<4160>(5719)他<846>作地獄<1067>之子<5207>，比你們<4771>還加倍<1362>。
Woe<3759> unto you<5213>, scribes<1122> and<2532> Pharisees<5330>, hypocrites<5273>! for<3754> ye compass<4013>(5719) sea<2281> and<2532> land<3584> to make<4160>(5658) one<1520> proselyte<4339>, and<2532> when<3752> he is made<1096>(5638), ye make<4160>(5719) him<846> twofold more<1362> the child<5207> of hell<1067> than yourselves<5216>.
23:16 「你們<4771>這瞎眼<5185>領路的<3595>有禍了<3759>！你們{<3588>}說<3004>(5723)：『凡<3739><302>指著<1722>殿<3485>起誓<3660>(5661)的，這算<1510>(5719)不<3762>得甚麼；只是<1161>凡<3739><302>指著<1722>殿中<3485>金子<5557>起誓<3660>(5661)的，他就該謹守<3784>(5719)。』
Woe<3759> unto you<5213>, ye blind<5185> guides<3595>, which<3588> say<3004>(5723), Whosoever<3739><302> shall swear<3660>(5661) by<1722> the temple<3485>, it is<2076>(5748) nothing<3762>; but<1161> whosoever<3739><302> shall swear<3660>(5661) by<1722> the gold<5557> of the temple<3485>, he is a debtor<3784>(5719)!
23:17 你們這無知<3474>{<2532>}瞎眼<5185>的人哪，{<1063>}甚麼<5101>是<1510>(5719)大的<3173>？是金子<5557>呢？還是<2228>叫金子<5557>成聖<37>(5660)的殿<3485>呢？
Ye fools<3474> and<2532> blind<5185>: for<1063> whether<5101> is<2076>(5748) greater<3187>, the gold<5557>, or<2228> the temple<3485> that sanctifieth<37>(5723) the gold<5557>?
23:18 你們又<2532>說：『凡<3739><302>指著<1722>壇<2379>起誓<3660>(5661)的，這算<1510>(5719)不<3762>得甚麼；只是<1161>凡<3739><302>指著<1722>壇{<846>}上<1883>禮物<1435>起誓<3660>(5661)的，他就該謹守<3784>(5719)。』
And<2532>, Whosoever<3739><1437> shall swear<3660>(5661) by<1722> the altar<2379>, it is<2076>(5748) nothing<3762>; but<1161> whosoever<3739><302> sweareth<3660>(5661) by<1722> the gift<1435> that is upon<1883> it<846>, he is guilty<3784>(5719). {guilty: or, debtor, or, bound}
23:19 你們這瞎眼<5185>的人哪，{<1063>}甚麼<5101>是大的<3173>？是禮物<1435>呢？還是<2228>叫禮物<1435>成聖<37>(5723)的壇<2379>呢？
Ye fools<3474> and<2532> blind<5185>: for<1063> whether<5101> is greater<3187>, the gift<1435>, or<2228> the altar<2379> that sanctifieth<37>(5723) the gift<1435>?
23:20 所以<3767>，人指著<1722>壇<2379>起誓<3660>(5660)，就是指著<1722>壇{<846>}和<2532>{<1722>}壇{<846>}上<1883>一切<3956>所有的起誓<3660>(5719)；
Whoso therefore<3767> shall swear<3660>(5660) by<1722> the altar<2379>, sweareth<3660>(5719) by<1722> it<846>, and<2532> by<1722> all things<3956> thereon<1883><846>.
23:21 {<2532>}人指著<1722>殿<3485>起誓<3660>(5660)，就是指著<1722>殿{<846>}和<2532>{<1722>}那住<2730>(5723)在殿{<846>}裡的起誓<3660>(5719)；
And<2532> whoso shall swear<3660>(5660) by<1722> the temple<3485>, sweareth<3660>(5719) by<1722> it<846>, and<2532> by<1722> him that dwelleth<2730>(5723) therein<846>.
23:22 {<2532>}人指著<1722>天<3772>起誓<3660>(5660)，就是指著<1722>上帝的<2316>寶座<2362>和<2532>{<1722>}那坐<2521>(5740)在{<846>}上面<1883>的起誓<3660>(5719)。
And<2532> he that shall swear<3660>(5660) by<1722> heaven<3772>, sweareth<3660>(5719) by<1722> the throne<2362> of God<2316>, and<2532> by<1722> him that sitteth<2521>(5740) thereon<1883><846>.
23:23 「你們<4771>這假冒為善的<5273>文士<1122>和<2532>法利賽人<5330>有禍了<3759>！因為<3754>你們將薄荷<2238>、{<2532>}茴香<432>、{<2532>}芹菜<2951>，獻上十分之一<586>(5719)，{<2532>}那律法<3551>上更重的<926>事，就是公義<2920>、{<2532>}憐憫<1656>、{<2532>}信實<4102>，反倒不行了<863>(5656)。{<1161>}這<3778>更重的是你們當<1163>(5707)行<4160>(5658)的；那也是<2548>不可<3361>不行<863>(5721)的。
Woe<3759> unto you<5213>, scribes<1122> and<2532> Pharisees<5330>, hypocrites<5273>! for<3754> ye pay tithe<586>(5719) of mint<2238> and<2532> anise<432> and<2532> cummin<2951>, and<2532> have omitted<863>(5656) the weightier<926> matters of the law<3551>, judgment<2920>,<2532> mercy<1656>, and<2532> faith<4102>: these<5023> ought ye<1163>(5713) to have done<4160>(5658), and not<3361> to leave<863><0> the other<2548> undone<863>(5721). {anise: Gr. dill}
23:24 你們這瞎眼<5185>領路的<3595>，蠓蟲<2971>你們就濾出來<1368>(5723)，駱駝<2574>你們倒<1161>吞下去<2666>(5723)。
Ye blind<5185> guides<3595>, which strain at<1368>(5723) a gnat<2971>, and<1161> swallow<2666>(5723) a camel<2574>.
23:25 「你們<4771>這假冒為善的<5273>文士<1122>和<2532>法利賽人<5330>有禍了<3759>！因為<3754>你們洗淨<2511>(5719)杯<4221>{<2532>}盤<3953>的外面<1855>，裡面<2081>卻<1161>盛滿了<1073>(5719){<1537>}勒索<724>和<2532>放蕩<192>。
Woe<3759> unto you<5213>, scribes<1122> and<2532> Pharisees<5330>, hypocrites<5273>! for<3754> ye make clean<2511>(5719) the outside<1855> of the cup<4221> and<2532> of the platter<3953>, but<1161> within<2081> they are full<1073>(5719) of<1537> extortion<724> and<2532> excess<192>.
23:26 你這瞎眼的<5185>法利賽人<5330>，先<4413>洗淨<2511>(5657)杯<4221>盤的裡面<1787>，好叫<2443>{<846>}外面<1622>也<2532>{<1096>}{(5667)}乾淨了<2513>。
Thou blind<5185> Pharisee<5330>, cleanse<2511>(5657) first<4412> that which is within<1787> the cup<4221> and<2532> platter<3953>, that<2443> the outside<1622> of them<846> may be<1096>(5638) clean<2513> also<2532>.
23:27 「你們<4771>這假冒為善的<5273>文士<1122>和<2532>法利賽人<5330>有禍了<3759>！因為<3754>你們好像<3945>(5719)粉飾的<2867>(5772)墳墓<5028>，{<3748>}外面<1855>{<3303>}好<5316>(5743)看<5611>，裡面<2081>卻<1161>裝滿了<1073>(5719)死人的<3498>骨頭<3747>和<2532>一切的<3956>污穢<167>。
Woe<3759> unto you<5213>, scribes<1122> and<2532> Pharisees<5330>, hypocrites<5273>! for<3754> ye are like<3945>(5719) unto whited<2867>(5772) sepulchres<5028>, which<3748> indeed<3303> appear<5316>(5727) beautiful<5611> outward<1855>, but<1161> are within<2081> full<1073>(5719) of dead<3498> men's bones<3747>, and<2532> of all<3956> uncleanness<167>.
23:28 你們<4771>也是<2532>如此<3779>，在人<444>前，外面<1855>{<3303>}顯出<5316>(5743)公義<1342>來，裡面<2081>卻<1161>{<1510>}{(5719)}裝滿了<3324>假善<5272>和<2532>不法<458>的事。
Even so<3779> ye<5210> also<2532><3303> outwardly<1855> appear<5316>(5743) righteous<1342> unto men<444>, but<1161> within<2081> ye are<2075>(5748) full<3324> of hypocrisy<5272> and<2532> iniquity<458>.
23:29 「你們<4771>這假冒為善的<5273>文士<1122>和<2532>法利賽人<5330>有禍了<3759>！因為<3754>你們建造<3618>(5719)先知<4396>的墳<5028>，{<2532>}修飾<2885>(5719)義人<1342>的墓<3419>，說：
Woe<3759> unto you<5213>, scribes<1122> and<2532> Pharisees<5330>, hypocrites<5273>! because<3754> ye build<3618>(5719) the tombs<5028> of the prophets<4396>, and<2532> garnish<2885>(5719) the sepulchres<3419> of the righteous<1342>,
23:30 {<2532>}<3004>(5719)『若<1487>是<1510>(5710)我們在<1722>我們<1473>祖宗<3962>的時候<2250>，{<302>}必<1510>(5710)不<3756>和他們<846>同<2844>流{<1722>}先知的<4396>血<129>。』
And<2532> say<3004>(5719), If<1487> we had been<2258>(5713) in<1722> the days<2250> of our<2257> fathers<3962>, we would<302> not<3756> have been<2258>(5713) partakers<2844> with them<846> in<1722> the blood<129> of the prophets<4396>.
23:31 這就是<5620>你們自己<1438>證明<3140>(5719){<3754>}是<1510>(5719)殺害<5407>(5660)先知<4396>者的子孫<5207>了。
Wherefore<5620> ye be witnesses<3140>(5719) unto yourselves<1438>, that<3754> ye are<2075>(5748) the children<5207> of them which killed<5407>(5660) the prophets<4396>.
23:32 {<2532>}你們<4771>去充滿<4137>(5657)你們<4771>祖宗<3962>的惡貫{<3358>}吧！
Fill<4137><0> ye<5210> up<4137>(5657) then<2532> the measure<3358> of your<5216> fathers<3962>.
23:33 你們這些蛇類<3789>、毒蛇之<2191>種<1081>啊，怎能<4459>逃<5343>(5661)脫<575>地獄的<1067>刑罰<2920>呢？
Ye serpents<3789>, ye generation<1081> of vipers<2191>, how<4459> can ye<5343>(5632) escape<575> the damnation<2920> of hell<1067>?
23:34 所以<1223><3778>{<2400>}我<1473>差遣<649>(5719)先知<4396>和<2532>智慧人<4680>並<2532>文士<1122>到<4314>你們<4771>這裡來，{<846>}有的<1537>你們要殺害<615>(5692)，{<2532>}要釘十字架<4717>(5692)；{<2532>}{<846>}有的<1537>你們<4771>要在<1722>會堂<4864>裡鞭打<3146>(5692)，{<2532>}從<575>這城<4172>追逼<1377>(5692)到<1519>那城<4172>，
Wherefore<1223><5124>, behold<2400>(5628), I<1473> send<649>(5719) unto<4314> you<5209> prophets<4396>, and<2532> wise men<4680>, and<2532> scribes<1122>: and<2532> some of<1537> them<846> ye shall kill<615>(5692) and<2532> crucify<4717>(5692); and<2532> some of<1537> them<846> shall ye scourge<3146>(5692) in<1722> your<5216> synagogues<4864>, and<2532> persecute<1377>(5692) them from<575> city<4172> to<1519> city<4172>:
23:35 叫<3704>世<1093>上<1909>所流<1632>(5746)義人<1342>的血<129>都<3956>歸<2064>(5661)到<1909>你們<4771>身上，從<575>義人<1342>亞伯<6>的血<129>起，直到<2193>你們在殿<3485>和<2532>壇<2379>中間<3342>所<3739>殺<5407>(5656)的巴拉加<914>的兒子<5207>撒迦利亞<2197>的血<129>為止。
That<3704> upon<1909> you<5209> may come<2064>(5632) all<3956> the righteous<1342> blood<129> shed<1632>(5746) upon<1909> the earth<1093>, from<575> the blood<129> of righteous<1342> Abel<6> unto<2193> the blood<129> of Zacharias<2197> son<5207> of Barachias<914>, whom<3739> ye slew<5407>(5656) between<3342> the temple<3485> and<2532> the altar<2379>.
23:36 我實在<281>告訴<3004>(5719)你們<4771>，這<3778>一切的<3956>罪都要歸<2240>(5692)到<1909>這<3778>世代<1074>了。」
Verily<281> I say<3004>(5719) unto you<5213>, All<3956> these things<5023> shall come<2240>(5692) upon<1909> this<5026> generation<1074>.
23:37 「耶路撒冷<2414>啊，耶路撒冷<2414>啊，你常殺害<615>(5723)先知<4396>，又<2532>用石頭打死<3036>(5723)那奉差遣<649>(5772)到<4314>你<846>這裡來的人。我多次<4212>願意<2309>(5656)聚集<1996>(5658){<3739>}你的<4771>兒女<5043>，好像<5158>母雞<3733>把小雞<3556>聚集<1996>(5719)在<5259>{<846>}翅膀<4420>底下，只是<2532>你們不<3756>願意<2309>(5656)。
O Jerusalem<2419>, Jerusalem<2419>, thou that killest<615>(5723) the prophets<4396>, and<2532> stonest<3036>(5723) them which are sent<649>(5772) unto<4314> thee<846>, how often<4212> would I<2309>(5656) have gathered<1996><0> thy<4675><3739> children<5043> together<1996>(5629), even as<5158> a hen<3733> gathereth<1996>(5719) her<1438> chickens<3556> under<5259> her wings<4420>, and<2532> ye would<2309>(5656) not<3756>!
23:38 看哪<2400>，你們的<4771>家<3624>成為荒場<2048>留給<863>(5743)你們<4771>。
Behold<2400>(5628), your<5216> house<3624> is left<863>(5743) unto you<5213> desolate<2048>.
23:39 {<1063>}我告訴<3004>(5719)你們<4771>，從<575>今<737>以後，你們不得<3756><3361>再見<3708>(5661)我<1473>，直等到<2193>你們{<302>}說<3004>(5661)：『奉<1722>主<2962>名<3686>來<2064>(5740)的是應當稱頌<2127>(5772)的。』」
For<1063> I say<3004>(5719) unto you<5213>, Ye shall<1492><0> not<3364> see<1492>(5632) me<3165> henceforth<575><737>, till<2193><302> ye shall say<2036>(5632), Blessed<2127>(5772) is he that cometh<2064>(5740) in<1722> the name<3686> of the Lord<2962>.
