3:1 {<1161>}{<1722>}那<1565>時<2250>，有施洗<910>的約翰<2491>出來<3854>(5736)，在<1722>猶太<2449>的曠野<2048>傳道<2784>(5723)，{<2532>}說<3004>(5723)：
<1161> In<1722> those<1565> days<2250> came<3854>(5736) John<2491> the Baptist<910>, preaching<2784>(5723) in<1722> the wilderness<2048> of Judaea<2449>,
3:2 「{<1063>}天<3772>國<932>近了<1448>(5758)，你們應當悔改<3340>(5720)！」
And<2532> saying<3004>(5723), Repent ye<3340>(5720): for<1063> the kingdom<932> of heaven<3772> is at hand<1448>(5758).
3:3 {<1063>}這人<3778>就是<1510>(5719)先知<4396>以賽亞<2268>所<1223>說<3004>(5685)的。他說<3004>(5723)：「在<1722>曠野<2048>有人聲<5456>喊著<994>(5723)說：預備<2090>(5657)主的<2962>道<3598>，修<4160>(5720)直<2117>他的<846>路<5147>！」
For<1063> this<3778> is he<2076>(5748) that was spoken<4483>(5685) of by<5259> the prophet<4396> Esaias<2268>, saying<3004>(5723), The voice<5456> of one crying<994>(5723) in<1722> the wilderness<2048>, Prepare ye<2090>(5657) the way<3598> of the Lord<2962>, make<4160>(5720) his<846> paths<5147> straight<2117>.
3:4 {<1161>}這<3588>約翰<2491>身<846>穿<2192>(5707)駱駝<2574>毛<2359>的<575>{<846>}衣服<1742>，{<2532>}{<846>}腰<3751>束<4012>皮<1193>帶<2223>，{<1161>}{<846>}吃的<5160>是<1510>(5707)蝗蟲<200>、{<2532>}野<66>蜜<3192>。
And<1161> the same<846> John<2491> had<2192>(5707) his<846> raiment<1742> of<575> camel's<2574> hair<2359>, and<2532> a leathern<1193> girdle<2223> about<4012> his<846> loins<3751>; and<1161> his<846> meat<5160> was<2258>(5713) locusts<200> and<2532> wild<66> honey<3192>.
3:5 那時<5119>，耶路撒冷<2414>和<2532>猶太<2449>全地<3956>，並<2532>約旦河<2446>一帶地方<4066>的人<3956>，都出去<1607>(5708)到<4314>約翰{<846>}那裡，
Then<5119> went out<1607>(5711) to<4314> him<846> Jerusalem<2414>, and<2532> all<3956> Judaea<2449>, and<2532> all<3956> the region round about<4066> Jordan<2446>,
3:6 {<2532>}承認<1843>(5734)他們的<846>罪<266>，在<1722>約旦河<2446><4215>裡受<5259>他的<846>洗<907>(5712)。
And<2532> were baptized<907>(5712) of<5259> him<846> in<1722> Jordan<2446>, confessing<1843>(5734) their<846> sins<266>.
3:7 {<1161>}約翰看見<3708>(5660)許多<4183>法利賽人<5330>和<2532>撒都該人<4523>也來<2064>(5740)受{<1909>}{<846>}洗<908>，就對他們<846>說<3004>(5656)：「毒蛇<2191>的種類<1081>！誰<5101>指示<5263>(5656)你們<4771>逃避<5343>(5658){<575>}將來<3195>(5723)的忿怒<3709>呢？
But<1161> when he saw<1492>(5631) many<4183> of the Pharisees<5330> and<2532> Sadducees<4523> come<2064>(5740) to<1909> his<846> baptism<908>, he said<2036>(5627) unto them<846>, O generation<1081> of vipers<2191>, who<5101> hath warned<5263>(5656) you<5213> to flee<5343>(5629) from<575> the wrath<3709> to come<3195>(5723)?
3:8 你們要<3767>結出<4160>(5657)果子<2590>來，與悔改<3341>的心相稱<514>。
Bring forth<4160>(5657) therefore<3767> fruits<2590> meet<514> for repentance<3341>: {meet...: or, answerable to amendment of life}
3:9 {<2532>}不要<3361>自己<1438>心<1380>(5661)裡<1722>說<3004>(5721)：『有<2192>(5719)亞伯拉罕<11>為我們的祖宗<3962>。』{<1063>}我告訴<3004>(5719)你們<4771>，{<3754>}神<2316>能<1410>(5736)從<1537>這些<3778>石頭<3037>中給亞伯拉罕<11>興起<1453>(5658)子孫<5043>來。
And<2532> think<1380>(5661) not<3361> to say<3004>(5721) within<1722> yourselves<1438>, We have<2192>(5719) Abraham<11> to our father<3962>: for<1063> I say<3004>(5719) unto you<5213>, that<3754> God<2316> is able<1410>(5736) of<1537> these<5130> stones<3037> to raise up<1453>(5658) children<5043> unto Abraham<11>.
3:10 現在<2235>{<1161>}斧子<513>已經放<2749>(5736)在<4314>樹<1186>根<4491>上，{<3767>}凡<3956>不<3361>結<4160>(5723)好<2570>果子<2590>的樹<1186>就砍下來<1581>(5743)，{<2532>}丟<906>(5743)在<1519>火<4442>裡。
And<1161> now<2235> also<2532> the axe<513> is laid<2749>(5736) unto<4314> the root<4491> of the trees<1186>: therefore<3767> every<3956> tree<1186> which bringeth<4160><0> not<3361> forth<4160>(5723) good<2570> fruit<2590> is hewn down<1581>(5743), and<2532> cast<906>(5743) into<1519> the fire<4442>.
3:11 我<1473>是<3303>用<1722>水<5204>給你們<4771>施洗<907>(5719)，叫<1519>你們悔改<3341>。但<1161>那<3588>在我<1473>以後<3694>來<2064>(5740)的，{<1510>}{(5719)}能力比我<1473>更大<2478>，我就是<1510>(5719)給他<3739>提<941>(5658)鞋<5266>也不<3756>配<2425>。他<846>要用<1722>聖<40>靈<4151>與<2532>火<4442>給你們<4771>施洗<907>(5692)。
I<1473> indeed<3303> baptize<907>(5719) you<5209> with<1722> water<5204> unto<1519> repentance<3341>: but<1161> he that cometh<2064>(5740) after<3694> me<3450> is<2076>(5748) mightier than<2478> I<3450>, whose<3739> shoes<5266> I am<1510>(5748) not<3756> worthy<2425> to bear<941>(5658): he<846> shall baptize<907>(5692) you<5209> with<1722> the Holy<40> Ghost<4151>, and<2532> with fire<4442>:
3:12 他<846>手<5495>裡<1722>拿著{<3739>}簸箕<4425>，要<2532>揚淨<1245>(5692)他的<846>場<257>，{<2532>}把{<846>}麥子<4621>收<4863>(5692)在<1519>倉<596>裡，{<1161>}把糠<892>用不滅的<762>火<4442>燒盡了<2618>(5692)。」
Whose<3739> fan<4425> is in<1722> his<846> hand<5495>, and<2532> he will throughly purge<1245>(5692) his<846> floor<257>, and<2532> gather<4863>(5692) his<846> wheat<4621> into<1519> the garner<596>; but<1161> he will burn up<2618>(5692) the chaff<892> with unquenchable<762> fire<4442>.
3:13 當下<5119>，耶穌<2424>從<575>加利利<1056>來<3854>(5736)到<1909>約旦河<2446>，見了<4314>約翰<2491>，要受<5259>他的<846>洗<907>(5683)。
Then<5119> cometh<3854>(5736) Jesus<2424> from<575> Galilee<1056> to<1909> Jordan<2446> unto<4314> John<2491>, to be baptized<907>(5683) of<5259> him<846>.
3:14 {<1161>}約翰<2491>想要攔住<1254>(5707)他<846>，說<3004>(5723)：「我<1473>當<2192>(5719)<5532>受<5259>你的<4771>洗<907>(5683)，{<2532>}你<4771>反倒上<4314>我<1473>這裡來<2064>(5736)嗎？」
But<1161> John<2491> forbad<1254>(5707) him, saying<3004>(5723), I<1473> have<2192>(5719) need<5532> to be baptized<907>(5683) of<5259> thee<4675>, and<2532> comest<2064>(5736) thou<4771> to<4314> me<3165>?
3:15 {<1161>}耶穌<2424>回答<611>(5679)說<3004>(5656){<4314>}{<846>}：「你暫且<737>許<863>(5657)我，因為<1063>我們<1473>理<4241>(5723)當<1510>(5719)這樣<3779>盡<4137>(5658)諸般的<3956>義<1343>（或譯：禮）。」於是<5119>約翰許了<863>(5719)他<846>。
And<1161> Jesus<2424> answering<611>(5679) said<2036>(5627) unto<4314> him<846>, Suffer<863>(5628) it to be so now<737>: for<1063> thus<3779> it becometh<4241>(5723)<2076>(5748) us<2254> to fulfil<4137>(5658) all<3956> righteousness<1343>. Then<5119> he suffered<863>(5719) him<846>.
3:16 {<1161>}耶穌<2424>受了洗<907>(5685)，隨即<2117>從<575>水<5204>裡上來<305>(5656)。{<2532>}天<3772>忽然<2400>為他<846>開了<455>(5681)，他就<2532>看見<3708>(5656)神<2316>的靈<4151>彷彿<5616>鴿子<4058>降下<2597>(5723)，{<2532>}落<2064>(5740)在<1909>他<846>身上。
And<2532> Jesus<2424>, when he was baptized<907>(5685), went up<305>(5627) straightway<2117> out of<575> the water<5204>: and<2532>, lo<2400>(5628), the heavens<3772> were opened<455>(5681) unto him<846>, and<2532> he saw<1492>(5627) the Spirit<4151> of God<2316> descending<2597>(5723) like<5616> a dove<4058>, and<2532> lighting<2064>(5740) upon<1909> him<846>:
3:17 {<2532>}{<2400>}從<1537>天上<3772>有聲音<5456>說<3004>(5723)：「這<3778>是<1510>(5719)我的<1473>愛<27>子<5207>，{<1722>}{<3739>}我所喜悅<2106>(5656)的。」
And<2532> lo<2400>(5628) a voice<5456> from<1537> heaven<3772>, saying<3004>(5723), This<3778> is<2076>(5748) my<3450> beloved<27> Son<5207>, in<1722> whom<3739> I am well pleased<2106>(5656).
