2:2 【併於上節】
Before the decree<02706> bring forth<03205>(8800), before the day<03117> pass<05674>(8804) as the chaff<04671>, before<03808> the fierce<02740> anger<0639> of the LORD<03068> come<0935>(8799) upon you, before the day<03117> of the LORD'S<03068> anger<0639> come<0935>(8799) upon you.
2:3 {<0834>}世上<0776>遵守<06466>(8804)耶和華典章<04941>的{<03605>}謙卑人<06035>哪，你們都當尋求<01245>(8761){<0853>}耶和華<03068>！當尋求<01245>(8761)公義<06664>謙卑<06038>，或者<0194>在耶和華<03068>發怒<0639>的日子<09002><03117>可以隱藏<05641>(8735)起來。
Seek<01245>(8761) ye the LORD<03068>, all ye meek<06035> of the earth<0776>, which have wrought<06466>(8804) his judgment<04941>; seek<01245>(8761) righteousness<06664>, seek<01245>(8761) meekness<06038>: it may be<0194> ye shall be hid<05641>(8735) in the day<03117> of the LORD'S<03068> anger<0639>.
2:4 {<03588>}迦薩<05804>必<01961>致見棄<05800>(8803)；亞實基倫<0831>必然荒涼<09001><08077>。人在正午<09002><06672>必趕出<01644>(8762)亞實突<0795>的民；以革倫<06138>也被拔出根<06131>(8735)來。
For Gaza<05804> shall be forsaken<05800>(8803), and Ashkelon<0831> a desolation<08077>: they shall drive out<01644>(8762) Ashdod<0795> at the noon day<06672>, and Ekron<06138> shall be rooted up<06131>(8735).
2:5 住<03427>(8802)沿海之地<03220><02256>的基利提<03774>族<01471>有禍<01945>了！迦南<03667>、非利士人<06430>之地<0776>啊，耶和華<03068>的話<01697>與你反對<05921>，說：我必毀滅<06>(8689)你，以致無人<04480><0369>居住<03427>(8802)。
Woe<01945> unto the inhabitants<03427>(8802) of the sea<03220> coast<02256>, the nation<01471> of the Cherethites<03774>! the word<01697> of the LORD<03068> is against you; O Canaan<03667>, the land<0776> of the Philistines<06430>, I will even destroy<06>(8689) thee, that there shall be no inhabitant<03427>(8802).
2:6 沿海之地<03220><02256>要變為<01961>草場<04999>，其上有牧人<07462>(8802)的住處<03741>和羊群<06629>的圈<01448>。
And the sea<03220> coast<02256> shall be dwellings<05116> and cottages<03741> for shepherds<07462>(8802), and folds<01448> for flocks<06629>.
2:7 這地<02256>必為猶大<03063>家<01004>剩下的人<09001><07611>所得<01961>；他們必在那裡<05921>牧放<07462>(8799)群羊，晚上<09002><06153>必躺臥<07257>(8799)在亞實基倫<0831>的房屋<09002><01004>中；因為<03588>耶和華<03068>─他們的　神<0430>必眷顧<06485>(8799)他們，使他們被擄的人<07622>(8675)<07622>歸回<07725>(8804)。
And the coast<02256> shall be for the remnant<07611> of the house<01004> of Judah<03063>; they shall feed<07462>(8799) thereupon: in the houses<01004> of Ashkelon<0831> shall they lie down<07257>(8799) in the evening<06153>: for the LORD<03068> their God<0430> shall visit<06485>(8799) them, and turn away<07725>(8804) their captivity<07622>(8675)<07622>. {for the LORD: or, when, etc}
2:8 我聽見<08085>(8804)摩押人<04124>的毀謗<02781>和亞捫<05983>人<01121>的辱罵<01421>，就是<0834>毀謗<02778>(8765){<0853>}我的百姓<05971>，自誇自大<01431>(8686)，侵犯<05921>他們的境界<01366>。
I have heard<08085>(8804) the reproach<02781> of Moab<04124>, and the revilings<01421> of the children<01121> of Ammon<05983>, whereby they have reproached<02778>(8765) my people<05971>, and magnified<01431>(8686) themselves against their border<01366>.
2:9 萬軍<06635>之耶和華<03068>─以色列<03478>的　神<0430>說<05002>(8803)：{<09001>}{<03651>}我<0589>指著我的永生<02416>起誓：{<03588>}摩押<04124>必<01961>像所多瑪<09003><05467>，亞捫<05983>人<01121>必像蛾摩拉<09003><06017>，都變為刺草<02738>、鹽<04417>坑<04379>、永遠<05704><05769>荒廢<08077>之地<04476>。我百姓<05971>所剩下的<07611>必擄掠他們<0962>(8799)；我國<01471>中所餘剩的<03499>必得著他們<05157>(8799)的地。
Therefore as I live<02416>, saith<05002>(8803) the LORD<03068> of hosts<06635>, the God<0430> of Israel<03478>, Surely Moab<04124> shall be as Sodom<05467>, and the children<01121> of Ammon<05983> as Gomorrah<06017>, even the breeding<04476> of nettles<02738>, and saltpits<04379><04417>, and a perpetual<05704><05769> desolation<08077>: the residue<07611> of my people<05971> shall spoil<0962>(8799) them, and the remnant<03499> of my people<01471> shall possess<05157>(8799) them.
2:10 這事<02063>臨到他們<09001>是因<08478>他們驕傲<01347>，{<03588>}自誇自大<01431>(8686)，毀謗<02778>(8765){<05921>}萬軍<06635>之耶和華<03068>的百姓<05971>。
This shall they have for their pride<01347>, because they have reproached<02778>(8765) and magnified<01431>(8686) themselves against the people<05971> of the LORD<03068> of hosts<06635>.
2:11 耶和華<03068>必向他們<05921>顯可畏<03372>(8737)之威，因<03588>他必叫<0853>世上<0776>的諸<03605>神<0430>瘦弱<07329>(8804)。列<03605>國<01471>海島<0339>的居民<0376>各在自己的地方<04480><04725>敬拜<07812>(8691)他<09001>。
The LORD<03068> will be terrible<03372>(8737) unto them: for he will famish<07329>(8804) all the gods<0430> of the earth<0776>; and men shall worship<07812>(8691) him, every one<0376> from his place<04725>, even all the isles<0339> of the heathen<01471>. {famish: Heb. make lean}
2:12 {<01571>}古實人<03569>哪，你們<0859>必<01992>被我的刀<02719>所殺<02491>。
Ye Ethiopians<03569> also, ye<01992> shall be slain<02491> by my sword<02719>.
2:13 耶和華必伸<05186>(8799)手<03027>攻擊<05921>北方<06828>，毀滅<06>(8762){<0853>}亞述<0804>，{<07760>}{(8799)}使<0853>尼尼微<05210>荒涼<09001><08077>，又乾旱<06723>如曠野<09003><04057>。
And he will stretch out<05186>(8799) his hand<03027> against the north<06828>, and destroy<06>(8762) Assyria<0804>; and will make<07760>(8799) Nineveh<05210> a desolation<08077>, and dry<06723> like a wilderness<04057>.
2:14 群畜<05739>，就是各<03605>國<01471>（國：或譯類）的走獸<02416>必臥<07257>(8804)在其中<09002><08432>；{<01571>}鵜鶘<06893>和<01571>箭豬<07090>要宿<03885>(8799)在柱頂上<09002><03730>。在窗戶內<09002><02474>有鳴叫<07891>(8787)的聲音<06963>；門檻<09002><05592>都必毀壞<02721>，香柏木<0731>已經<03588>露出<06168>(8765)。
And flocks<05739> shall lie down<07257>(8804) in the midst<08432> of her, all the beasts<02416> of the nations<01471>: both the cormorant<06893> and the bittern<07090> shall lodge<03885>(8799) in the upper lintels<03730> of it; their voice<06963> shall sing<07891>(8787) in the windows<02474>; desolation<02721> shall be in the thresholds<05592>: for he shall uncover<06168>(8765) the cedar work<0731>. {cormorant: or, pelican} {upper...: or, knops, or, chapiters} {for...: or, when he hath uncovered}
2:15 這<02063>是素來歡樂<05947>安然<09001><0983>居住<03427>(8802)的城<05892>，心裡<09002><03824>說<0559>(8802)：惟有我<0589>，除<0657>我以外再<05750>沒有別的<0657>；現在何竟<0349>{<01961>}荒涼<09001><08047>成為野獸<09001><02416>躺臥<04769>之處！凡<03605>經過<05674>(8802){<05921>}的人都必搖<05128>(8686)手<03027>嗤笑<08319>(8799)她。
This is the rejoicing<05947> city<05892> that dwelt<03427>(8802) carelessly<0983>, that said<0559>(8802) in her heart<03824>, I am , and there is none beside<0657> me: how is she become a desolation<08047>, a place for beasts<02416> to lie down in<04769>! every one that passeth by<05674>(8802) her shall hiss<08319>(8799), and wag<05128>(8686) his hand<03027>.
