10 以色列<03478>是茂盛<01238>(8802)的葡萄樹<01612>，結<07737>(8762)果<06529>繁多{<09001>}。果子<09001><06529>越多<09003><07230>，就越增添<07235>(8689)祭壇<09001><04196>；地土<09001><0776>越肥美<09003><02896>，就越造美麗<03190>(8689)的柱像<04676>。
Israel<03478> is an empty<01238>(8802) vine<01612>, he bringeth forth<07737>(8762) fruit<06529> unto himself: according to the multitude<07230> of his fruit<06529> he hath increased<07235>(8689) the altars<04196>; according to the goodness<02896> of his land<0776> they have made goodly<02895>(8689) images<04676>. {an...: or, a vine emptying the fruit which it giveth} {images: Heb. statues, or, standing images}
2 他們心<03820>懷二意<02505>(8804)，現今<06258>要定為有罪<0816>(8799)。耶和華必<01931>拆毀<06202>(8799)他們的祭壇<04196>，毀壞<07703>(8779)他們的柱像<04676>。

3 {<03588>}{<06258>}他們必說<0559>(8799)：我們<09001>沒有<0369>王<04428>，因為<03588>我們不<03808>敬畏<03372>(8804){<0853>}耶和華<03068>。王<04428>能為我們<09001>做<06213>(8799)甚麼呢<04100>？
For now they shall say<0559>(8799), We have no king<04428>, because we feared<03372>(8804) not the LORD<03068>; what then should a king<04428> do<06213>(8799) to us?
4 他們為立<03772>(8800)約<01285>說<01696>(8765)謊言<01697>，起假<07723>誓<0422>(8800)；因此，災罰<04941>如苦菜<09003><07219>滋生<06524>(8804)在<05921>田<07704>間的犁溝<08525>中。
They have spoken<01696>(8765) words<01697>, swearing<0422>(8800) falsely<07723> in making<03772>(8800) a covenant<01285>: thus judgment<04941> springeth up<06524>(8804) as hemlock<07219> in the furrows<08525> of the field<07704>.
5 撒馬利亞<08111>的居民<07934>必因伯‧亞文<01007>的牛犢<09001><05697>驚恐<01481>(8799)；崇拜牛犢的民<05971>和喜愛<01523>(8799)牛犢的祭司<03649>都必因<03588>榮耀<03519>離開<01540>(8804)它<04480>，為它<05921>悲哀<056>(8804)。
The inhabitants<07934> of Samaria<08111> shall fear<01481>(8799) because of the calves<05697> of Bethaven<01007>: for the people<05971> thereof shall mourn<056>(8804) over it, and the priests<03649> thereof that rejoiced<01523>(8799) on it, for the glory<03519> thereof, because it is departed<01540>(8804) from it. {the priests...: or, Chemarim}
6 {<01571>}人必將牛犢{<0854>}帶<02986>(8714)到亞述<09001><0804>當作禮物<04503>，獻給耶雷布<03377>王<09001><04428>。以法蓮<0669>必蒙<03947>(8799)羞<01317>；以色列<03478>必因自己的計謀<04480><06098>慚愧<0954>(8799)。
It shall be also carried<02986>(8714) unto Assyria<0804> for a present<04503> to king<04428> Jareb<03377>: Ephraim<0669> shall receive<03947>(8799) shame<01317>, and Israel<03478> shall be ashamed<0954>(8799) of his own counsel<06098>.
7 至於撒馬利亞<08111>，她的王<04428>必滅沒<01820>(8738)，如水<04325>{<05921>}面<06440>的沫子<09003><07110>一樣。
As for Samaria<08111>, her king<04428> is cut off<01820>(8738) as the foam<07110> upon<06440> the water<04325>. {the water: Heb. the face of the water}
8 伯‧亞文<0206>的邱壇<01116>─就是以色列<03478>取罪<02403>的地方必被毀滅<08045>(8738)；荊棘<06975>和蒺藜<01863>必長<05927>(8799)在<05921>他們的祭壇上<04196>。他們必對大山<09001><02022>說<0559>(8804)：遮蓋<03680>(8761)我們！對小山<09001><01389>說：倒<05307>(8798)在我們身上<05921>！
The high places<01116> also of Aven<0206>, the sin<02403> of Israel<03478>, shall be destroyed<08045>(8738): the thorn<06975> and the thistle<01863> shall come up<05927>(8799) on their altars<04196>; and they shall say<0559>(8804) to the mountains<02022>, Cover<03680>(8761) us; and to the hills<01389>, Fall<05307>(8798) on us.
9 以色列<03478>啊，你從基比亞<01390>的日子<04480><03117>以來時常犯罪<02398>(8804)。你們的先人曾站<05975>(8804)在那裡<08033>，現今住基比亞<09002><01390>的人以為攻擊罪孽<05932>之輩<01121>的戰事<04421>臨<05381>(8686)不<03808>到<05921>自己。
O Israel<03478>, thou hast sinned<02398>(8804) from the days<03117> of Gibeah<01390>: there they stood<05975>(8804): the battle<04421> in Gibeah<01390> against the children<01121> of iniquity<05932> did not overtake<05381>(8686) them.
10 我必隨意<09002><0185>懲罰他們<03256>(8799)。他們為兩樣<09001><08147>的罪<05869><05771>所纏<09002><0631>(8800)；列邦的民<05971>必聚集<0622>(8795)攻擊他們<05921>。
It is in my desire<0185> that I should chastise<03256>(8799) them; and the people<05971> shall be gathered<0622>(8795) against them, when they shall bind<0631>(8800) themselves in their two<08147> furrows<05869>. {when...: or, when I shall bind them for their two transgressions, or, in their two habitations}
11 以法蓮<0669>是馴良<03925>(8794)的母牛犢<05697>，喜愛<0157>(8802)踹<09001><01758>(8800)穀，我<0589>卻將軛加<05674>(8804)在<05921>牠肥美<02898>的頸項<06677>上，我要使以法蓮<0669>拉套（或譯：被騎<07392>(8686)）。猶大<03063>必耕田<02790>(8799)；雅各{<09001>}<03290>必耙地<07702>(8762)。
And Ephraim<0669> is as an heifer<05697> that is taught<03925>(8794), and loveth<0157>(8802) to tread out<01758>(8800) the corn ; but I passed over<05674>(8804) upon her fair<02898> neck<06677>: I will make Ephraim<0669> to ride<07392>(8686); Judah<03063> shall plow<02790>(8799), and Jacob<03290> shall break his clods<07702>(8762). {her...: Heb. the beauty of her neck}
12 你們要為自己<09001>栽種<02232>(8798)公義<09001><06666>，就能收割<07114>(8798){<09001>}{<06310>}慈愛<02617>。現今正是尋求<09001><01875>(8800){<0853>}耶和華<03068>的時候<06256>；你們{<09001>}要開墾<05214>(8798)荒地<05215>，等<05704>他臨到<0935>(8799)，使公義<06664>如雨降<03384>(8686)在你們身上<09001>。
Sow<02232>(8798) to yourselves in righteousness<06666>, reap<07114>(8798) in<06310> mercy<02617>; break up<05214>(8798) your fallow ground<05215>: for it is time<06256> to seek<01875>(8800) the LORD<03068>, till he come<0935>(8799) and rain<03384>(8686) righteousness<06664> upon you.
13 你們耕種<02790>(8804)的是奸惡<07562>，收割<07114>(8804)的是罪孽<05766>，吃<0398>(8804)的是謊話<03585>的果子<06529>。因<03588>你倚靠<0982>(8804)自己的行為<09002><01870>，仰賴勇士<01368>眾多<09002><07230>，
Ye have plowed<02790>(8804) wickedness<07562>, ye have reaped<07114>(8804) iniquity<05766>; ye have eaten<0398>(8804) the fruit<06529> of lies<03585>: because thou didst trust<0982>(8804) in thy way<01870>, in the multitude<07230> of thy mighty men<01368>.
14 所以在這民中<09002><05971>必有<06965>(8804)鬨嚷<07588>之聲，你一切的<03605>保障<04013>必被拆毀<07703>(8714)，就如沙勒幔<09003><08020>在爭戰<04421>的日子<03117>拆毀<09002><07701>伯‧亞比勒<01009>，將其中的母<0517>{<05921>}子<01121>一同摔死<07376>(8795)。
Therefore shall a tumult<07588> arise<06965>(8804) among thy people<05971>, and all thy fortresses<04013> shall be spoiled<07703>(8714), as Shalman<08020> spoiled<07701> Betharbel<01009> in the day<03117> of battle<04421>: the mother<0517> was dashed in pieces<07376>(8795) upon her children<01121>.
15 因<04480><06440>他們的大<07451>惡<07451>，伯特利<01008>必使<06213>(8804)你們<09001>遭遇如此<03602>。到了黎明<09002><07837>，以色列<03478>的王<04428>必全然<01820>(8736)滅絕<01820>(8738)。
