2:1 尼布甲尼撒<05019>在位<09001><04438>第二<08147>年<09002><08141>，{<05019>}他做了<02492>(8804)夢<02472>，心裡<07307>煩亂<06470>(8691)，不能<01961>(8738)睡覺<08142>{<05921>}。
And in the second<08147> year<08141> of the reign<04438> of Nebuchadnezzar<05019> Nebuchadnezzar<05019> dreamed<02492>(8804) dreams<02472>, wherewith his spirit<07307> was troubled<06470>(8691), and his sleep<08142> brake<01961>(8738) from him.
2:2 王<04428>吩咐<0559>(8799)人將術士<09001><02748>、用法術的<09001><0825>、行邪術的<09001><03784>(8764)，和迦勒底人<09001><03778>召來<09001><07121>(8800)，要他們將王的夢<02472>告訴<09001><05046>(8687)王<09001><04428>，他們就來<0935>(8799)站<05975>(8799)在王<04428>前<09001><06440>。
Then the king<04428> commanded<0559>(8799) to call<07121>(8800) the magicians<02748>, and the astrologers<0825>, and the sorcerers<03784>(8764), and the Chaldeans<03778>, for to shew<05046>(8687) the king<04428> his dreams<02472>. So they came<0935>(8799) and stood<05975>(8799) before<06440> the king<04428>.
2:3 王<04428>對他們<09001>說<0559>(8799)：「我做了<02492>(8804)一夢<02472>，心裡<07307>煩亂<06470>(8735)，要知道<09001><03045>(8800){<0853>}這是甚麼夢<02472>。」
And the king<04428> said<0559>(8799) unto them, I have dreamed<02492>(8804) a dream<02472>, and my spirit<07307> was troubled<06470>(8735) to know<03045>(8800) the dream<02472>.
2:4 迦勒底人<03778>用亞蘭的言語<0762>對王<09001><04428>說<01696>(8762)：「願王<04430>萬<09001><05957>歲<02418>(8747)！請將那夢<02493>告訴<0560>(8747)僕人<09001><05649>，僕人就可以{<02324>}{(8741)}講解<06591>。」

2:5 王<04430>回答<06032>(8750)迦勒底人<03779>說<0560>(8750)：「夢<04406>我已經忘了（或譯：我<04481>已定命<0230>(8754)；八節同），你們若<02006>不<03809>將夢<02493>和夢的講解<06591>告訴我<03046>(8681)，就必被凌遲<01917><05648>(8725)，你們的房屋<01005>必成為<07761>(8725)糞堆<05122>；
The king<04430> answered<06032>(8750) and said<0560>(8750) to the Chaldeans<03779>, The thing<04406> is gone<0230>(8754) from me<04481>: if<02006> ye will not<03809> make known<03046>(8681) unto me the dream<02493>, with the interpretation<06591> thereof, ye shall be cut<05648>(8725) in pieces<01917>, and your houses<01005> shall be made<07761>(8725) a dunghill<05122>. {cut...: Chaldee, made pieces}
2:6 你們若<02006>將夢<02493>和夢的講解<06591>告訴<02324>(8681)我，就必從<04481>我這裡<06925>得<06902>(8741)贈品<04978>和賞賜<05023>，並大<07690>尊榮<03367>。現在<03861>你們要將夢<02493>和夢的講解<06591>告訴<02324>(8680)我。」
But if<02006> ye shew<02324>(8681) the dream<02493>, and the interpretation<06591> thereof, ye shall receive<06902>(8741) of<04481> me<06925> gifts<04978> and rewards<05023> and great<07690> honour<03367>: therefore<03861> shew<02324>(8680) me the dream<02493>, and the interpretation<06591> thereof. {rewards: or, fee}
2:7 他們第二次<08579>對王{<06032>}{(8754)}說<0560>(8750)：「請王<04430>將夢<02493>告訴<0560>(8748)僕人<09001><05649>，僕人就可以{<02324>}{(8681)}講解<06591>。」
They answered<06032>(8754) again<08579> and said<0560>(8750), Let the king<04430> tell<0560>(8748) his servants<05649> the dream<02493>, and we will shew<02324>(8681) the interpretation<06591> of it.
2:8 王<04430>回答<06032>(8750)說<0560>(8750)：「我<0576>{<01768>}{<04481>}准<03330>知道<03046>(8751)你們<0608>是故意遲延<02084>(8750)<05732>，因為<03606><06903><01768>你們知道<02370>(8754){<01768>}那夢<04406>我{<04481>}已經忘了<0230>(8754)。
The king<04430> answered<06032>(8750) and said<0560>(8750), I<0576> know<03046>(8751) of<04481> certainty<03330> that ye<0608> would gain<02084>(8750) the time<05732>, because<06903><03606> ye see<02370>(8754) the thing<04406> is gone<0230>(8754) from<04481> me. {gain: Chaldee, buy}

But if<02006> ye will not<03809> make known<03046>(8681) unto me the dream<02493>, there is but one<01932><02298> decree<01882> for you: for ye have prepared<02164>(8724) lying<03538> and corrupt<07844>(8752) words<04406> to speak<0560>(8749) before<06925> me, till<05705> the time<05732> be changed<08133>(8721): therefore<03861> tell<0560>(8747) me the dream<02493>, and I shall know<03046>(8748) that<01768> ye can shew<02324>(8681) me the interpretation<06591> thereof.
2:10 迦勒底人<03779>在王<04430>面前<06925>回答<06032>(8754)說<0560>(8750)：「世<03007>{<01768>}上<05922>沒<03809>有<0383>人<0606>能<03202>(8748)將王<04430>所問的事<04406>說出來<09001><02324>(8682)；因為<03606><06903><01768>沒有<03809>{<03606>}君王<04430>、大臣<07229>、掌權的<07990>向{<09001>}{<03606>}術士<02749>，或用法術的<0826>，或迦勒底人<03779>問<07593>(8754)過這樣的<09003><01836>事<04406>。
The Chaldeans<03779> answered<06032>(8754) before<06925> the king<04430>, and said<0560>(8750), There is<0383> not<03809> a man<0606> upon<05922> the earth<03007> that can<03202>(8748) shew<02324>(8682) the king's<04430> matter<04406>: therefore<06903><01768> there is no<03809> king<04430>, lord<07229>, nor ruler<07990>, that asked<07593>(8754) such<01836> things<04406> at any<03606> magician<02749>, or astrologer<0826>, or Chaldean<03779>.
2:11 王<04430>所<01768>問<07593>(8751)的事<04406>甚難<03358>。除了<03861>{<0383>}{<01768>}不<03809>與<05974>世人<01321>同居<04070>的<01768>神<0426>明，沒<03809>有<0383>人{<0321>}在王<04430>面前<06925>能說出來<02324>(8741)。」
And it is a rare<03358> thing<04406> that the king<04430> requireth<07593>(8751), and there is<0383> none<03809> other<0321> that can shew<02324>(8741) it before<06925> the king<04430>, except<03861> the gods<0426>, whose dwelling<04070> is<0383> not<03809> with<05974> flesh<01321>.
2:12 因此<03606><06903><01836>，王<04430>氣忿忿地<01149>(8754)大<07690>發烈怒<07108>(8754)，吩咐<0560>(8754)滅絕<09001><07>(8682)巴比倫<0895>所有的<09001><03606>哲士<02445>。
For<06903> this<01836> cause<03606> the king<04430> was angry<01149>(8754) and very<07690> furious<07108>(8754), and commanded<0560>(8754) to destroy<07>(8682) all<03606> the wise<02445> men of Babylon<0895>.
2:13 於是<09002><0116>命令<01882>發出<05312>(8754)，哲士<02445>將要見殺<06992>(8726)，人就尋找<01156>(8754)但以理<01841>和他的同伴<02269>，要殺他們<09001><06992>(8723)。
And the decree<01882> went forth<05312>(8754) that the wise<02445> men should be slain<06992>(8726); and they sought<01156>(8754) Daniel<01841> and his fellows<02269> to be slain<06992>(8723).
2:14 王<04430>的<01768>護衛<02877>長<07229>亞略<0746>{<01768>}出來<05312>(8754)，要殺<09001><06992>(8742)巴比倫<0895>的哲士<09001><02445>，但以理<01841>就<09002><0116>用婉言<05843><02942>回答<08421>(8684)他<09001>，

He answered<06032>(8750) and said<0560>(8750) to Arioch<0746> the king's<04430> captain<07990>, Why<04101><05922> is the decree<01882> so hasty<02685>(8683) from<04481><06925> the king<04430>? Then<0116> Arioch<0746> made the thing<04406> known<03046>(8684) to Daniel<01841>.
2:16 但以理<01841>遂進去<05954>(8754)求<01156>(8754){<04481>}王<04430>寬<05415>(8748){<09001>}{<01768>}限<02166>，就可以將夢的講解<06591>告訴<09001><02324>(8682)王<09001><04430>。
Then Daniel<01841> went in<05954>(8754), and desired<01156>(8754) of<04481> the king<04430> that he would give<05415>(8748) him time<02166>, and that he would shew<02324>(8682) the king<04430> the interpretation<06591>.
2:17 {<0116>}但以理<01841>回到<0236>(8754)他的居所<09001><01005>，將這事<04406>告訴<03046>(8684)他的同伴<02269>哈拿尼雅<09001><02608>、米沙利<04333>、亞撒利雅<05839>，
Then<0116> Daniel<01841> went<0236>(8754) to his house<01005>, and made the thing<04406> known<03046>(8684) to Hananiah<02608>, Mishael<04333>, and Azariah<05839>, his companions<02269>:
2:18 要他們祈求<09001><01156>(8749)天上<08065>的　神<0426>{<04481>}{<06925>}施憐憫<07359>，將<05922>這<01836>奧祕<07328>的事<05922>指明，免得<01768><03809>但以理<01841>和他的同伴<02269>與<05974>巴比倫<0895>其餘的<07606>哲士<02445>一同滅亡<07>(8681)。
That they would desire<01156>(8749) mercies<07359> of<04481><06925> the God<0426> of heaven<08065> concerning<05922> this<01836> secret<07328>; that Daniel<01841> and his fellows<02269> should not<03809> perish<07>(8681) with<05974> the rest<07606> of the wise<02445> men of Babylon<0895>. {of the God: Chaldee, from before God} {that Daniel...: or, that they should not destroy Daniel, etc}
2:19 這奧祕<07328>的事就<0116>在<01768>夜間<03916>異象<09002><02376>中給但以理<09001><01841>顯明<01541>(8752)，{<0116>}但以理<01841>便稱頌<01289>(8745)天上<08065>的　神<09001><0426>。
Then<0116> was the secret<07328> revealed<01541>(8752) unto Daniel<01841> in a night<03916> vision<02376>. Then<0116> Daniel<01841> blessed<01289>(8745) the God<0426> of heaven<08065>.
2:20 {<06032>}{(8750)}但以理<01841>說<0560>(8750)：「　神<0426>的<01768>名<08036>是<01934>(8748)應當稱頌<01289>(8743)的！從<04481>亙古<05957>直到<05705>永遠<05957>，因為<01768>智慧<02452>能力<01370>都屬<01932>乎他<09001>。
Daniel<01841> answered<06032>(8750) and said<0560>(8750), Blessed<01289>(8743) be<01934>(8748) the name<08036> of God<0426> for<04481> ever<05957> and ever<05705><05957>: for wisdom<02452> and might<01370> are<01932> his:
2:21 他<01932>改變<08133>(8683)時候<05732>、日期<02166>，廢<05709>(8683)王<04430>，立<06966>(8683)王<04430>，將智慧<02452>賜<03052>(8751)與智慧人<09001><02445>，將知識<04486>賜與聰明人<09001><03046>(8751)<0999>。
And he changeth<08133>(8683) the times<05732> and the seasons<02166>: he removeth<05709>(8683) kings<04430>, and setteth up<06966>(8683) kings<04430>: he giveth<03052>(8751) wisdom<02452> unto the wise<02445>, and knowledge<04486> to them that know<03046>(8751) understanding<0999>:
2:22 他<01932>顯明<01541>(8751)深奧<05994>隱祕的事<05642>(8743)，知道<03046>(8751)暗中<09002><02816>所有的<04101>，光明<05094>也與他<05974>同居<08271>(8754)。
He revealeth<01541>(8751) the deep<05994> and secret things<05642>(8743): he knoweth<03046>(8751) what<04101> is in the darkness<02816>, and the light<05094> dwelleth<08271>(8754) with him<05974>.
2:23 我列祖<02>的　神<0426>啊，我<0576>感謝<03029>(8683)你<09001>，讚美<07624>(8743)你，因<01768>你將智慧<02452>才能<01370>賜<03052>(8754)給我<09001>，{<03705>}允准我們所<01768>求<01156>(8754){<04481>}的，把<01768>王<04430>的事<04406>給我們指明<03046>(8684)<03046>(8684)。」
I<0576> thank<03029>(8683) thee, and praise<07624>(8743) thee, O thou God<0426> of my fathers<02>, who hast given<03052>(8754) me wisdom<02452> and might<01370>, and hast made known<03046>(8684) unto me now<03705> what we desired<01156>(8754) of thee<04481>: for thou hast now made known<03046>(8684) unto us the king's<04430> matter<04406>.
2:24 於是<03606><06903><01836>，但以理<01841>進去<05954>(8754)見<05922>亞略<0746>，就是<01768>王<04430>所派<04483>(8745)滅絕<09001><07>(8682)巴比倫<0895>哲士<09001><02445>的，{<0236>}{(8754)}對他<09001>說<0560>(8754){<03652>}：「不要<0409>滅絕<07>(8681)巴比倫<0895>的哲士<09001><02445>，求你領<05954>(8680)我到王<04430>面前<06925>，我要將夢的講解<06591>告訴<02324>(8741)王<09001><04430>。」
Therefore<03606><06903><01836> Daniel<01841> went in<05954>(8754) unto<05922> Arioch<0746>, whom the king<04430> had ordained<04483>(8745) to destroy<07>(8682) the wise<02445> men of Babylon<0895>: he went<0236>(8754) and said<0560>(8754) thus<03652> unto him; Destroy<07>(8681) not<0409> the wise<02445> men of Babylon<0895>: bring me in<05954>(8680) before<06925> the king<04430>, and I will shew<02324>(8741) unto the king<04430> the interpretation<06591>.
2:25 亞略<0746>就<0116>急忙<09002><0927>(8726)將但以理<09001><01841>領到<05954>(8684)王<04430>面前<06925>，對王<09001><01768>說<0560>(8754){<03652>}：「我在被擄<01123><01547>的<01768>猶大人<03061>中<04481>遇見<07912>(8684)一人<01400>，他<01768>能將夢的講解<06591>告訴<03046>(8681)王<09001><04430>。」

The king<04430> answered<06032>(8750) and said<0560>(8750) to Daniel<01841>, whose name<08036> was Belteshazzar<01096>, Art<0383> thou able<03546>(8751) to make known<03046>(8682) unto me the dream<02493> which I have seen<02370>(8754), and the interpretation<06591> thereof?
2:27 但以理<01841>在王<04430>面前<06925>回答<06032>(8750)說<0560>(8750)：「王<04430>所<01768>問<07593>(8751)的那奧祕事<07328>，哲士<02445>、用法術的<0826>、術士<02749>、觀兆的<01505>(8750)都不<03809>能<03202>(8750)告訴<09001><02324>(8682)王<09001><04430>；
Daniel<01841> answered<06032>(8750) in the presence<06925> of the king<04430>, and said<0560>(8750), The secret<07328> which the king<04430> hath demanded<07593>(8751) cannot<03202>(8750)<03809> the wise<02445> men , the astrologers<0826>, the magicians<02749>, the soothsayers<01505>(8750), shew<02324>(8682) unto the king<04430>;

2:30 至於那<01836>奧祕的事<07328>顯明<01541>(8752)給我<09001>，並非<03809>因<01768>我<0576>的智慧<09002><02452>{<0383>}{<09002>}勝過<04481>一切<03606>活人<02417>，乃<03861>為<05922>{<01701>}{<01768>}使王<09001><04430>知道<03046>(8681)夢的講解<06591>和{<03046>}{(8748)}心裡<03825>的思念<07476>。
But as for me<0576>, this<01836> secret<07328> is not<03809> revealed<01541>(8752) to me for any wisdom<02452> that I have<0383> more than<04481> any<03606> living<02417>, but<03861> for their sakes<01701> that<05922> shall make known<03046>(8681) the interpretation<06591> to the king<04430>, and that thou mightest know<03046>(8748) the thoughts<07476> of thy heart<03825>. {but for...: or, but for the intent that the interpretation may be made known to the king}

This<01836> is the dream<02493>; and we will tell<0560>(8748) the interpretation<06591> thereof before<06925> the king<04430>.
2:37 王<04430>啊，你<0607>是諸王<04430>之王<04430>。{<01768>}天上<08065>的　神<0426>已將國度<04437>、權柄<02632>、能力<08632>、尊榮<03367>都賜<03052>(8754)給你<09001>。

And as the toes<0677> of the feet<07271> were part<04481> of iron<06523>, and part<04481> of clay<02635>, so the kingdom<04437> shall be<01934>(8748) partly<04481><07118> strong<08624>, and partly<04481><07118> broken<08406>(8750). {broken: or, brittle}

The king<04430> answered<06032>(8750) unto Daniel<01841>, and said<0560>(8750), Of<04481> a truth<07187> it is , that<01768> your God<0426> is a God<0426> of gods<0426>, and a Lord<04756> of kings<04430>, and a revealer<01541>(8751) of secrets<07328>, seeing thou couldest<03202>(8754) reveal<01541>(8749) this<01836> secret<07328>.
