14 有幾個<0582>以色列<03478>長老<04480><02205>到我<0413>這裡來<0935>(8799)，坐<03427>(8799)在我面前<09001><06440>。
Then came<0935>(8799) certain<0582> of the elders<02205> of Israel<03478> unto me, and sat<03427>(8799) before<06440> me.
2 耶和華<03068>的話<01697>就臨<01961>到我<0413>說<09001><0559>(8800)：
And the word<01697> of the LORD<03068> came unto me, saying<0559>(8800),
3 「人<0120>子<01121>啊，這些<0428>人<0582>已將他們的假神<01544>接<05927>(8689)到<05921>心裡<03820>，把陷於罪<05771>的絆腳石<04383>放<05414>(8804)在面<06440>前<05227>，我豈能絲毫{<01875>}{(8736)}被他們<09001>求問<01875>(8735)嗎？
Son<01121> of man<0120>, these men<0582> have set up<05927>(8689) their idols<01544> in their heart<03820>, and put<05414>(8804) the stumblingblock<04383> of their iniquity<05771> before<05227> their face<06440>: should I be enquired<01875>(8735) of at all<01875>(8736) by them?
4 所以<09001><03651>{<01696>}{(8761)}{<0853>}你要告訴<0559>(8804)他們<0413>：『主<0136>耶和華<03069>如此<03541>說<0559>(8804)：以色列<03478>家<04480><01004>的人<0376>中{<0376>}，凡<0834>將<0853>他的假神<01544>接<05927>(8686)到<0413>心裡<03820>，把陷於罪<05771>的絆腳石<04383>放<07760>(8799)在面<06440>前<05227>，又就了<0413>先知<05030>來<0935>(8804)的，我<0589>─耶和華<03068>在他所求{<0935>}{(8804)}的事上，必按他眾多<09002><07230>的假神<01544>回答<06030>(8738)他<09001>（或譯：必按他拜許多假神的罪報應他），
Therefore speak<01696>(8761) unto them, and say<0559>(8804) unto them, Thus saith<0559>(8804) the Lord<0136> GOD<03069>; Every man<0376> of the house<01004> of Israel<03478> that setteth up<05927>(8686) his idols<01544> in his heart<03820>, and putteth<07760>(8799) the stumblingblock<04383> of his iniquity<05771> before<05227> his face<06440>, and cometh<0935>(8804) to the prophet<05030>; I the LORD<03068> will answer<06030>(8738) him that cometh<0935>(8804) according to the multitude<07230> of his idols<01544>;
5 好<09001><04616>在<0853>以色列<03478>家<01004>的心事<09002><03820>上捉住<08610>(8800)他們，因為他們<0834>都<03605>藉著假神<09002><01544>與我<04480><05921>生疏<02114>(8738)。』
That I may take<08610>(8800) the house<01004> of Israel<03478> in their own heart<03820>, because they are all estranged<02114>(8738) from me through their idols<01544>.
6 「所以<09001><03651>你要告訴<0413>以色列<03478>家<01004>說<0559>(8798)：『主<0136>耶和華<03069>如此<03541>說<0559>(8804)：回頭吧<07725>(8798)！離開<07725>(8685){<04480>}{<05921>}你們的偶像<01544>，轉<07725>(8685)臉<06440>莫從<04480><05921>你們一切<03605>可憎<08441>的事。』
Therefore say<0559>(8798) unto the house<01004> of Israel<03478>, Thus saith<0559>(8804) the Lord<0136> GOD<03069>; Repent<07725>(8798), and turn<07725>(8685) yourselves from your idols<01544>; and turn away<07725>(8685) your faces<06440> from all your abominations<08441>. {yourselves: or, others}
7 因為<03588>以色列<03478>家<04480><01004>的人<0376>{<0376>}，或{<0834>}在以色列<09002><03478>中寄居<01481>(8799)的外人<04480><01616>，凡與我<04480><0310>隔絕<05144>(8735)，將他的假神<01544>接<05927>(8799)到<0413>心裡<03820>，把陷於罪<05771>的絆腳石<04383>放<07760>(8799)在面<06440>前<05227>，又就了<0413>先知<05030>來<0935>(8804)要為自己<09001>的事求問<09001><01875>(8800)我<09002>的，我<0589>─耶和華<03068>必親自<09002>回答<06030>(8737)他<09001>。
For every one<0376> of the house<01004> of Israel<03478>, or of the stranger<01616> that sojourneth<01481>(8799) in Israel<03478>, which separateth<05144>(8735) himself from me<0310>, and setteth up<05927>(8799) his idols<01544> in his heart<03820>, and putteth<07760>(8799) the stumblingblock<04383> of his iniquity<05771> before<05227> his face<06440>, and cometh<0935>(8804) to a prophet<05030> to enquire<01875>(8800) of him concerning me; I the LORD<03068> will answer<06030>(8737) him by myself:
8 我必向那<01931>人<09002><0376>變臉<05414>(8804)<06440>，使他作了警戒<09001><0226>，笑談<09001><04912>，令人驚駭<08074>(8689)，並且我要將他從我民<05971>中<04480><08432>剪除<03772>(8689)；你們就知道<03045>(8804){<03588>}我<0589>是耶和華<03068>。
And I will set<05414>(8804) my face<06440> against that man<0376>, and will make<08074>(8689) him a sign<0226> and a proverb<04912>, and I will cut him off<03772>(8689) from the midst<08432> of my people<05971>; and ye shall know<03045>(8804) that I am the LORD<03068>.
9 先知<05030>若<03588>被迷惑<06601>(8792)說<01696>(8765)一句預言<01697>，是我<0589>─耶和華<03068>任<0853>那<01931>先知<05030>受迷惑<06601>(8765)，我也必向他<05921>伸<05186>(8804){<0853>}手<03027>，將他從我民<05971>以色列<03478>中<04480><08432>除滅<08045>(8689)。
And if the prophet<05030> be deceived<06601>(8792) when he hath spoken<01696>(8765) a thing<01697>, I the LORD<03068> have deceived<06601>(8765) that prophet<05030>, and I will stretch out<05186>(8804) my hand<03027> upon him, and will destroy<08045>(8689) him from the midst<08432> of my people<05971> Israel<03478>.
10 他們必擔當<05375>(8804)自己的罪孽<05771>。先知<05030>的罪孽<09003><05771>和求問之人<01875>(8802)的罪孽<09003><05771>都是<01961>一樣，
And they shall bear<05375>(8804) the punishment of their iniquity<05771>: the punishment<05771> of the prophet<05030> shall be even as the punishment<05771> of him that seeketh<01875>(8802) unto him ;
11 好使<09001><04616>以色列<03478>家<01004>不<03808>再<05750>走迷<08582>(8799)離開我<04480><0310>，不<03808>再<05750>因各樣<09002><03605>的罪過<06588>玷污<02930>(8691)自己，只要作<01961>我的<09001>子民<09001><05971>，我<0589>作<01961>他們的<09001>　神<09001><0430>。這是主<0136>耶和華<03069>說<05002>(8803)的。」
That the house<01004> of Israel<03478> may go no more astray<08582>(8799) from me<0310>, neither be polluted<02930>(8691) any more with all their transgressions<06588>; but that they may be my people<05971>, and I may be their God<0430>, saith<05002>(8803) the Lord<0136> GOD<03069>.
12 耶和華<03068>的話<01697>臨<01961>到我<0413>說<09001><0559>(8800)：
The word<01697> of the LORD<03068> came again to me, saying<0559>(8800),
13 「人<0120>子<01121>啊，若<03588>有一國<0776>犯<09001><04603>(8800)罪<04604>干犯<02398>(8799)我<09001>，我也向他<05921>伸<05186>(8804)手<03027>折斷<07665>(8804)他們的<09001>杖<04294>，就是斷絕他們的糧<03899>，使饑荒<07458>臨到<07971>(8689)那地<09002>，將人<0120>與牲畜<0929>從其中<04480>剪除<03772>(8689)；
Son<01121> of man<0120>, when the land<0776> sinneth<02398>(8799) against me by trespassing<04603>(8800) grievously<04604>, then will I stretch out<05186>(8804) mine hand<03027> upon it, and will break<07665>(8804) the staff<04294> of the bread<03899> thereof, and will send<07971>(8689) famine<07458> upon it, and will cut off<03772>(8689) man<0120> and beast<0929> from it:
14 其中<09002><08432>雖有<01961>挪亞<05146>、但以理<01840>、約伯<0347>這<0428>三<07969>人<0582>，他們<01992>只能因他們的義<09002><06666>救<05337>(8762)自己的性命<05315>。這是主<0136>耶和華<03069>說<05002>(8803)的。
Though these three<07969> men<0582>, Noah<05146>, Daniel<01840>, and Job<0347>, were in it<08432>, they should deliver<05337>(8762) but their own souls<05315> by their righteousness<06666>, saith<05002>(8803) the Lord<0136> GOD<03069>.
15 我若<03863>使惡<07451>獸<02416>經過<05674>(8686)糟踐<07921>(8765)那地<09002><0776>，使<01961>地荒涼<08077>，以致因<04480><06440>這些獸<02416>，人都不得<04480><01097>經過<05674>(8802)；
If<03863> I cause noisome<07451> beasts<02416> to pass through<05674>(8686) the land<0776>, and they spoil<07921>(8765) it, so that it be desolate<08077>, that no man may pass through<05674>(8802) because<06440> of the beasts<02416>: {spoil: or, bereave}
16 雖有這<0428>三<07969>人<0582>在其中<09002><08432>，主<0136>耶和華<03069>說<05002>(8803)：我<0589>指著我的永生<02416>起誓，他們<01992>連<0518>兒<01121>帶<0518>女<01323>都不能得救<05337>(8686)，只能<09001><0905>自己得救<05337>(8735)，那地<0776>仍然<01961>荒涼<08077>。
Though these three<07969> men<0582> were in it<08432>, as I live<02416>, saith<05002>(8803) the Lord<0136> GOD<03069>, they shall deliver<05337>(8686) neither sons<01121> nor daughters<01323>; they only shall be delivered<05337>(8735), but the land<0776> shall be desolate<08077>. {in it: Heb. in the midst of it}
17 或者<0176>我使刀劍<02719>臨<0935>(8686)到<05921>那<01931>地<0776>，說<0559>(8804)：刀劍<02719>哪，要經過<05674>(8799)那地<09002><0776>，以致我將人<0120>與牲畜<0929>從其中<04480>剪除<03772>(8689)；
Or if I bring<0935>(8686) a sword<02719> upon that land<0776>, and say<0559>(8804), Sword<02719>, go through<05674>(8799) the land<0776>; so that I cut off<03772>(8689) man<0120> and beast<0929> from it:
18 雖有這<0428>三<07969>人<0582>在其中<09002><08432>，主<0136>耶和華<03069>說<05002>(8803)：我<0589>指著我的永生<02416>起誓，他們連兒<01121>帶女<01323>都不能<03808>得救<05337>(8686)，{<03588>}{<01992>}只能<09001><0905>自己得救<05337>(8735)。
Though these three<07969> men<0582> were in it<08432>, as I live<02416>, saith<05002>(8803) the Lord<0136> GOD<03069>, they shall deliver<05337>(8686) neither sons<01121> nor daughters<01323>, but they only shall be delivered<05337>(8735) themselves.
19 或者<0176>我叫<07971>(8762)瘟疫<01698>流行<0413>那<01931>地<0776>，使我滅命（原文是帶血<09002><01818>）的忿怒<02534>傾<08210>(8804)在其上<05921>，好將人<0120>與牲畜<0929>從其中<04480>剪除<09001><03772>(8687)；
Or if I send<07971>(8762) a pestilence<01698> into that land<0776>, and pour out<08210>(8804) my fury<02534> upon it in blood<01818>, to cut off<03772>(8687) from it man<0120> and beast<0929>:
20 雖有挪亞<05146>、但以理<01840>、約伯<0347>在其中<09002><08432>，主<0136>耶和華說<05002>(8803)：我<0589>指著我的永生<02416>起誓，他們<01992>連<0518>兒<01121>帶<0518>女<01323>都不能救<05337>(8686)，只能因他們的義<09002><06666>救<05337>(8686)自己的性命<05315>。」
Though Noah<05146>, Daniel<01840>, and Job<0347>, were in it<08432>, as I live<02416>, saith<05002>(8803) the Lord<0136> GOD<03069>, they shall deliver<05337>(8686) neither son<01121> nor<0518> daughter<01323>; they shall but deliver<05337>(8686) their own souls<05315> by their righteousness<06666>.
21 {<03588>}主<0136>耶和華<03069>如此<03541>說<0559>(8804)：「{<03588>}我將這四樣<0702>大<07451>災<08201>─就是刀劍<02719>、饑荒<07458>、惡<07451>獸<02416>、瘟疫<01698>降<07971>(8765)在<0413>耶路撒冷<03389>，將人<0120>與牲畜<0929>從其中<04480>剪除<09001><03772>(8687)，豈<0637>不更重嗎？
For thus saith<0559>(8804) the Lord<0136> GOD<03069>; How much more when I send<07971>(8765) my four<0702> sore<07451> judgments<08201> upon Jerusalem<03389>, the sword<02719>, and the famine<07458>, and the noisome<07451> beast<02416>, and the pestilence<01698>, to cut off<03772>(8687) from it man<0120> and beast<0929>? {How...: or, Also when}
22 然而<02009>其中<09002>必有剩下<03498>(8738)的人{<06413>}，他們連兒<01121>帶女<01323>必{<02009>}帶<03318>(8716)到你們<0413>這裡來<03318>(8802)，你們看見<07200>(8804){<0853>}他們所行<01870>{<0853>}所為<05949>的，要因<05921>我{<0834>}降<0935>(8689)給<05921>耶路撒冷<03389>的{<0853>}一切<03605>{<0935>}{(8689)}災禍<07451>{<05921>}，便得了安慰<05162>(8738)。
Yet, behold, therein shall be left<03498>(8738) a remnant<06413> that shall be brought forth<03318>(8716), both sons<01121> and daughters<01323>: behold, they shall come forth<03318>(8802) unto you, and ye shall see<07200>(8804) their way<01870> and their doings<05949>: and ye shall be comforted<05162>(8738) concerning the evil<07451> that I have brought<0935>(8689) upon Jerusalem<03389>, even concerning all that I have brought<0935>(8689) upon it.
23 {<03588>}你們看見<07200>(8799){<0853>}他們所行<01870>{<0853>}所為<05949>的，{<0853>}得了安慰<05162>(8765)，就知道<03045>(8804){<03588>}我在耶路撒冷<03389>中所行<06213>(8804)的並非<03808>無故<02600>{<0853>}{<03605>}{<0834>}{<06213>}{(8804)}{<09002>}。這是主<0136>耶和華<03069>說<05002>(8803)的。」
And they shall comfort<05162>(8765) you, when ye see<07200>(8799) their ways<01870> and their doings<05949>: and ye shall know<03045>(8804) that I have not done<06213>(8804) without cause<02600> all that I have done<06213>(8804) in it, saith<05002>(8803) the Lord<0136> GOD<03069>.
