37:1 約西亞<02977>的兒子<01121>西底家<06667>{<04428>}代替<08478>約雅敬<03079>的兒子<01121>哥尼雅<03659>為王<04427>(8799)，是<0834>巴比倫<0894>王<04428>尼布甲尼撒<05019>立<04427>(8689)在猶大<03063>地<09002><0776>作王的。
And king<04428> Zedekiah<06667> the son<01121> of Josiah<02977> reigned<04427>(8799) instead of Coniah<03659> the son<01121> of Jehoiakim<03079>, whom Nebuchadrezzar<05019> king<04428> of Babylon<0894> made king<04427>(8689) in the land<0776> of Judah<03063>.
37:2 但西底家<01931>和他的臣僕<05650>，並國<0776>中的百姓<05971>，都不<03808>聽<08085>(8804)從<0413>耶和華<03068>藉<09002><03027>先知<05030>耶利米<03414>所<0834>說的<01696>(8765)話<01697>。
But neither he, nor his servants<05650>, nor the people<05971> of the land<0776>, did hearken<08085>(8804) unto the words<01697> of the LORD<03068>, which he spake<01696>(8765) by<03027> the prophet<05030> Jeremiah<03414>. {by...: Heb. by the hand of the prophet}
37:3 西底家<06667>王<04428>打發<07971>(8799){<0853>}示利米雅<08018>的兒子<01121>猶甲<03081>和<0853>祭司<03548>瑪西雅<04641>的兒子<01121>西番雅<06846>去見<0413>先知<05030>耶利米<03414>，說<09001><0559>(8800)：「求<04994>你為我們<01157>禱告<06419>(8690){<0413>}耶和華<03068>─我們的　神<0430>。」
And Zedekiah<06667> the king<04428> sent<07971>(8799) Jehucal<03081> the son<01121> of Shelemiah<08018> and Zephaniah<06846> the son<01121> of Maaseiah<04641> the priest<03548> to the prophet<05030> Jeremiah<03414>, saying<0559>(8800), Pray<06419>(8690) now unto the LORD<03068> our God<0430> for us.
37:4 那時耶利米<03414>在民<05971>中<09002><08432>出<03318>(8802)入<0935>(8804)，因為他們還沒有<03808>把他<0853>囚<05414>(8804)在監<01004><03628>裡。
Now Jeremiah<03414> came in<0935>(8804) and went out<03318>(8802) among<08432> the people<05971>: for they had not put<05414>(8804) him into prison<01004><03628>.
37:5 法老的<06547>軍隊<02428>已經從埃及<04480><04714>出來<03318>(8804)，那圍困<06696>(8802){<05921>}耶路撒冷<03389>的迦勒底人<03778>聽見<08085>(8799){<0853>}他們的風聲<08088>，就拔營離開<04480><05921>耶路撒冷<03389>去了<05927>(8735)。
Then Pharaoh's<06547> army<02428> was come forth<03318>(8804) out of Egypt<04714>: and when the Chaldeans<03778> that besieged<06696>(8802) Jerusalem<03389> heard<08085>(8799) tidings<08088> of them, they departed<05927>(8735) from Jerusalem<03389>.
37:6 耶和華<03068>的話<01697>臨<01961>到<0413>先知<05030>耶利米<03414>說<09001><0559>(8800)：
Then came the word<01697> of the LORD<03068> unto the prophet<05030> Jeremiah<03414>, saying<0559>(8800),
37:7 「耶和華<03068>─以色列<03478>的　神<0430>如此<03541>說<0559>(8804)：猶大<03063>王<04428>打發<07971>(8802)你們<0853>來<0413>求問我<09001><01875>(8800)，你們要如此<03541>對他<0413>說<0559>(8799)：『{<02009>}那出來<03318>(8802)幫助<09001><05833>你們<09001>法老的<06547>軍隊<02428>必回<07725>(8804)埃及<04714>本國<09001><0776>去。
Thus saith<0559>(8804) the LORD<03068>, the God<0430> of Israel<03478>; Thus shall ye say<0559>(8799) to the king<04428> of Judah<03063>, that sent<07971>(8802) you unto me to enquire<01875>(8800) of me; Behold, Pharaoh's<06547> army<02428>, which is come forth<03318>(8802) to help<05833> you, shall return<07725>(8804) to Egypt<04714> into their own land<0776>.
37:8 迦勒底人<03778>必再來<07725>(8804)攻打<03898>(8738){<05921>}這<02063>城<05892>，並要攻取<03920>(8804)，用火<09002><0784>焚燒<08313>(8804)。
And the Chaldeans<03778> shall come again<07725>(8804), and fight<03898>(8738) against this city<05892>, and take<03920>(8804) it, and burn<08313>(8804) it with fire<0784>.
37:9 耶和華<03068>如此<03541>說<0559>(8804)：你們不要<0408>自<05315>欺<05377>(8686)說<09001><0559>(8800)「迦勒底人<03778>必定<01980>(8800)離開<03212>(8799)我們<04480><05921>」，因為<03588>他們必不<03808>離開<03212>(8799)。
Thus saith<0559>(8804) the LORD<03068>; Deceive<05377>(8686) not yourselves<05315>, saying<0559>(8800), The Chaldeans<03778> shall surely<01980>(8800) depart<03212>(8799) from us: for they shall not depart<03212>(8799). {yourselves: Heb. your souls}
37:10 你們即便<03588><0518>殺敗了<05221>(8689)與你們<0854>爭戰的<03898>(8737)迦勒底<03778>全<03605>軍<02428>，但剩下<07604>(8738){<09002>}受傷的<01856>(8794)人<0582>也必各人<0376>從帳棚裡<09002><0168>起來<06965>(8799)，用火<09002><0784>焚燒<08313>(8804){<0853>}這<02063>城<05892>。』」
For though ye had smitten<05221>(8689) the whole army<02428> of the Chaldeans<03778> that fight<03898>(8737) against you, and there remained<07604>(8738) but wounded<01856>(8794) men<0582> among them, yet should they rise up<06965>(8799) every man<0376> in his tent<0168>, and burn<08313>(8804) this city<05892> with fire<0784>. {wounded: Heb. thrust through}
37:11 {<01961>}迦勒底的<03778>軍隊<02428>因怕<04480><06440>法老的<06547>軍隊<02428>，拔營<09002><05927>(8736)離開<04480><05921>耶路撒冷<03389>的時候，
And it came to pass, that when the army<02428> of the Chaldeans<03778> was broken up<05927>(8736) from Jerusalem<03389> for fear<06440> of Pharaoh's<06547> army<02428>, {broken...: Heb. made to ascend}
37:12 耶利米<03414>就雜在<09002><08432>民<05971>中出<03318>(8799)離耶路撒冷<04480><03389>，要往便雅憫<01144>地<0776>去<09001><03212>(8800)，在那裡<04480><08033>得自己的地業<09001><02505>(8687)。
Then Jeremiah<03414> went forth<03318>(8799) out of Jerusalem<03389> to go<03212>(8800) into the land<0776> of Benjamin<01144>, to separate<02505>(8687) himself thence in the midst<08432> of the people<05971>. {separate...: or, to slip away from thence in the midst of the people}
37:13 他<01931>到了<01961>便雅憫<01144>門<09002><08179>那裡<08033>，有守門<06488>官<01167>名<08034>叫伊利雅<03376>，是哈拿尼亞<02608>的孫子<01121>、示利米雅<08018>的兒子<01121>，他就拿住<08610>(8799){<0853>}先知<05030>耶利米<03414>，說<09001><0559>(8800)：「你是<0859>投降<05307>(8802){<0413>}迦勒底人<03778>哪！」
And when he was in the gate<08179> of Benjamin<01144>, a captain<01167> of the ward<06488> was there, whose name<08034> was Irijah<03376>, the son<01121> of Shelemiah<08018>, the son<01121> of Hananiah<02608>; and he took<08610>(8799) Jeremiah<03414> the prophet<05030>, saying<0559>(8800), Thou fallest away<05307>(8802) to the Chaldeans<03778>.
37:14 耶利米<03414>說<0559>(8799)：「你這是謊話<08267>，我並不是<0369>投降<05307>(8802){<05921>}迦勒底人<03778>。」伊利雅<03376>不<03808>聽<08085>(8804)他<0413>的話，就拿住<08610>(8799)他{<09002>}{<03414>}，解<0935>(8686)到<0413>首領<08269>那裡。
Then said<0559>(8799) Jeremiah<03414>, It is false<08267>; I fall not away<05307>(8802) to the Chaldeans<03778>. But he hearkened<08085>(8804) not to him: so Irijah<03376> took<08610>(8799) Jeremiah<03414>, and brought<0935>(8686) him to the princes<08269>. {false: Heb. falsehood, or, a lie}
37:15 首領<08269>惱怒<07107>(8799){<05921>}耶利米<03414>，就打了<05221>(8689)他<0853>，{<05414>}{(8804)}將他<0853>{<01004>}囚<0612>在文士<05608>(8802)約拿單<03083>的房屋<01004>中，因為<03588>他們以這房屋<0853>當作<06213>(8804)監<03608>牢<09001><01004>。
Wherefore the princes<08269> were wroth<07107>(8799) with Jeremiah<03414>, and smote<05221>(8689) him, and put<05414>(8804) him in prison<0612> in the house<01004> of Jonathan<03083> the scribe<05608>(8802): for they had made<06213>(8804) that the prison<03608>.
37:16 {<03588>}耶利米<03414>來到<0413>獄中<01004><0953>，進<0935>(8804)入<0413>牢房<02588>，{<03414>}在那裡<08033>囚了<03427>(8799)多<07227>日<03117>。
When Jeremiah<03414> was entered<0935>(8804) into the dungeon<01004><0953>, and into the cabins<02588>, and Jeremiah<03414> had remained<03427>(8799) there many<07227> days<03117>; {cabins: or, cells}
37:17 西底家<06667>王<04428>打發<07971>(8799)人提出<03947>(8799)他來，{<04428>}在自己的宮內<09002><01004>私下<09002><05643>問他<07592>(8799)說<0559>(8799)：「從<04480><0854>耶和華<03068>有甚麼<03426>話<01697>臨到沒有？」耶利米<03414>說<0559>(8799)：「有<03426>！」又說<0559>(8799)：「你必交<05414>(8735)在巴比倫<0894>王<04428>手中<09002><03027>。」
Then Zedekiah<06667> the king<04428> sent<07971>(8799), and took him out<03947>(8799): and the king<04428> asked<07592>(8799) him secretly<05643> in his house<01004>, and said<0559>(8799), Is there any word<01697> from the LORD<03068>? And Jeremiah<03414> said<0559>(8799), There is<03426>: for, said<0559>(8799) he, thou shalt be delivered<05414>(8735) into the hand<03027> of the king<04428> of Babylon<0894>.
37:18 耶利米<03414>又對<0413>西底家<06667>王<04428>說<0559>(8799)：「我在甚麼事<04100>上得罪<02398>(8804)你<09001>，或你的臣僕<09001><05650>，或這<02088>百姓<09001><05971>，你竟<03588>將我<0853>囚<05414>(8804)在<0413>監<01004><03608>裡呢？
Moreover Jeremiah<03414> said<0559>(8799) unto king<04428> Zedekiah<06667>, What have I offended<02398>(8804) against thee, or against thy servants<05650>, or against this people<05971>, that ye have put<05414>(8804) me in prison<01004><03608>?
37:19 {<0834>}對你們<09001>預言<05012>(8738){<09001>}{<0559>}{(8800)}巴比倫<0894>王<04428>必不<03808>來<0935>(8799)攻擊你們<05921>和<05921>這<02063>地<0776>的先知<05030>，現今在哪裡<0346>呢？
Where are now<0346> your prophets<05030> which prophesied<05012>(8738) unto you, saying<0559>(8800), The king<04428> of Babylon<0894> shall not come<0935>(8799) against you, nor against this land<0776>?
37:20 主<0113>─我的王<04428>啊，求<04994>你現在<06258>垂聽<08085>(8798)，{<04994>}准<05307>(8799)我在你面前<09001><06440>的懇求<08467>：不要<0408>使我回到<07725>(8686)文士<05608>(8802)約拿單<03083>的房屋<01004>中，免得<03808>我死<04191>(8799)在那裡<08033>。」
Therefore hear<08085>(8798) now, I pray thee, O my lord<0113> the king<04428>: let my supplication<08467>, I pray thee, be accepted<05307>(8799) before<06440> thee; that thou cause me not to return<07725>(8686) to the house<01004> of Jonathan<03083> the scribe<05608>(8802), lest I die<04191>(8799) there. {let...: Heb. let my supplication fall}
37:21 於是，西底家<06667>王<04428>下令<06680>(8762)，他們就把<0853>耶利米<03414>交<06485>(8686)在護衛兵<04307>的院中<09002><02691>，每天<09001><03117>從餅舖<0644>(8802)街<04480><02351>取一個<03603>餅<03899>給<05414>(8800)他<09001>，直到<05704>{<04480>}城<05892>中的{<03605>}餅<03899>用盡了<08552>(8800)。這樣，耶利米<03414>仍在<03427>(8799)護衛兵<04307>的院<09002><02691>中。
Then Zedekiah<06667> the king<04428> commanded<06680>(8762) that they should commit<06485>(8686) Jeremiah<03414> into the court<02691> of the prison<04307>, and that they should give<05414>(8800) him daily<03117> a piece<03603> of bread<03899> out of the bakers<0644>(8802)' street<02351>, until all the bread<03899> in the city<05892> were spent<08552>(8800). Thus Jeremiah<03414> remained<03427>(8799) in the court<02691> of the prison<04307>.
