16:1 以色列<03478>{<01121>}全<03605>會眾<05712>從以琳<04480><0362>起行<05265>(8799)，在出<09001><03318>(8800)埃及<04714>{<04480>}{<0776>}後第二個<08145>月<09001><02320>十五<09002><02568><06240>日<03117>到了<0935>(8799){<0413>}以琳<0362>{<0996>}和西奈<05514>中間<0996>、汛<05512>的<0834>曠野<04057>。
And they took their journey<05265>(8799) from Elim<0362>, and all the congregation<05712> of the children<01121> of Israel<03478> came<0935>(8799) unto the wilderness<04057> of Sin<05512>, which is between Elim<0362> and Sinai<05514>, on the fifteenth<02568><06240> day<03117> of the second<08145> month<02320> after their departing out<03318>(8800) of the land<0776> of Egypt<04714>.
16:2 以色列<03478>{<01121>}全<03605>會眾<05712>在曠野<09002><04057>向<05921>摩西<04872>、{<05921>}亞倫<0175>發怨言<03885>(8735)，
And the whole congregation<05712> of the children<01121> of Israel<03478> murmured<03885>(8735) against Moses<04872> and Aaron<0175> in the wilderness<04057>:
16:3 {<03478>}{<01121>}說<0559>(8799){<0413>}：「巴不<04310>得<05414>(8799)我們早死<04191>(8800)在埃及<04714>地<09002><0776>、耶和華<03068>的手下<09002><03027>；那時我們坐<09002><03427>(8800)在<05921>肉<01320>鍋<05518>旁邊，吃<09002><0398>(8800){<03899>}得飽足<09001><07648>。{<03588>}你們將我們<0853>領出來<03318>(8689)，到<0413>這<02088>曠野<04057>，是要叫<0853>這<02088>全<03605>會眾<06951>都餓<09002><07458>死<09001><04191>(8687)啊！」
And the children<01121> of Israel<03478> said<0559>(8799) unto them, Would to God<04310><05414>(8799) we had died<04191>(8800) by the hand<03027> of the LORD<03068> in the land<0776> of Egypt<04714>, when we sat<03427>(8800) by the flesh<01320> pots<05518>, and when we did eat<0398>(8800) bread<03899> to the full<07648>; for ye have brought us forth<03318>(8689) into this wilderness<04057>, to kill<04191>(8687) this whole assembly<06951> with hunger<07458>.
16:4 耶和華<03068>對<0413>摩西<04872>說<0559>(8799)：「我<02009>要將糧食<03899>從<04480>天<08064>降<04305>(8688)給你們<09001>。百姓<05971>可以出去<03318>(8804)，每天<09002><03117>收<03950>(8804)每天<03117>的分<01697>，我好<09001><04616>試驗他們<05254>(8762)遵<03212>(8799)不遵<0518><03808>我的法度<09002><08451>。
Then said<0559>(8799) the LORD<03068> unto Moses<04872>, Behold, I will rain<04305>(8688) bread<03899> from heaven<08064> for you; and the people<05971> shall go out<03318>(8804) and gather<03950>(8804) a certain rate<01697> every day<03117><03117>, that I may prove<05254>(8762) them, whether they will walk<03212>(8799) in my law<08451>, or no. {a certain...: Heb. the portion of a day in his day}
16:5 到<01961>(8804)第六<08345>天<09002><03117>，他們要把<0853>所<0834>收進來的<0935>(8686)預備好了<03559>(8689)，比<05921>每天<03117><03117>所<0834>收的<03950>(8799)多{<01961>}{(8804)}一倍<04932>。」
And it shall come to pass, that on the sixth<08345> day<03117> they shall prepare<03559>(8689) that which<0834> they bring in<0935>(8686); and it shall be twice<04932> as much as they gather<03950>(8799) daily<03117><03117>.
16:6 摩西<04872>、亞倫<0175>對<0413>以色列<03478>眾<03605>人<01121>說<0559>(8799)：「到了晚上<06153>，你們要知道<03045>(8804){<03588>}是耶和華<03068>將你們<0853>從埃及<04714>地<04480><0776>領出來的<03318>(8689)。
And Moses<04872> and Aaron<0175> said<0559>(8799) unto all the children<01121> of Israel<03478>, At even<06153>, then ye shall know<03045>(8804) that the LORD<03068> hath brought you out<03318>(8689) from the land<0776> of Egypt<04714>:
16:7 早晨<01242>，你們要看見<07200>(8804){<0853>}耶和華<03068>的榮耀<03519>，因為耶和華聽見<09002><08085>(8800){<0853>}你們向<05921>他<03068>所發的怨言<08519>了。我們<05168>算甚麼<04100>，你們竟<03588>向我們<05921>發怨言<03885>(8686)(8675)<03885>(8735)呢？」
And in the morning<01242>, then ye shall see<07200>(8804) the glory<03519> of the LORD<03068>; for that he heareth<08085>(8800) your murmurings<08519> against the LORD<03068>: and what are we<05168>, that ye murmur<03885>(8686)(8675)<03885>(8735) against us?
16:8 摩西<04872>又說<0559>(8799)：「耶和華<03068>晚上<09002><06153>必給<09002><05414>(8800)你們<09001>肉<01320>吃<09001><0398>(8800)，早晨<09002><01242>必給你們食物<03899>得飽<09001><07646>(8800)；因為你們<0859>向<05921>耶和華<03068>發<03885>(8688)的<0834>怨言<08519>，他都聽見了<09002><08085>(8800){<0853>}。我們<05168>算甚麼<04100>，你們的怨言<08519>不是<03808>向我們<05921>發的，乃是<03588>向<05921>耶和華<03068>發的。」
And Moses<04872> said<0559>(8799), This shall be , when the LORD<03068> shall give<05414>(8800) you in the evening<06153> flesh<01320> to eat<0398>(8800), and in the morning<01242> bread<03899> to the full<07646>(8800); for that the LORD<03068> heareth<08085>(8800) your murmurings<08519> which ye murmur<03885>(8688) against him: and what are we<05168>? your murmurings<08519> are not against us, but against the LORD<03068>.
16:9 摩西<04872>對<0413>亞倫<0175>說<0559>(8799)：「你告訴<0413>以色列<03478>{<01121>}全<03605>會眾<05712>說<0559>(8798)：『你們就近<07126>(8798)耶和華<03068>面前<09001><06440>，因為<03588>他已經聽見<08085>(8804){<0853>}你們的怨言<08519>了。』」
And Moses<04872> spake<0559>(8799) unto Aaron<0175>, Say<0559>(8798) unto all the congregation<05712> of the children<01121> of Israel<03478>, Come near<07126>(8798) before<06440> the LORD<03068>: for he hath heard<08085>(8804) your murmurings<08519>.
16:10 {<01961>}{(8799)}亞倫<0175>正對<0413>以色列<03478>{<01121>}全<03605>會眾<05712>說話<09003><01696>(8763)的時候，他們向<0413>曠野<04057>觀看<06437>(8799)，不料<02009>，耶和華<03068>的榮光<03519>在雲中<09002><06051>顯現<07200>(8738)。
And it came to pass, as Aaron<0175> spake<01696>(8763) unto the whole congregation<05712> of the children<01121> of Israel<03478>, that they looked<06437>(8799) toward the wilderness<04057>, and, behold, the glory<03519> of the LORD<03068> appeared<07200>(8738) in the cloud<06051>.
16:11 耶和華<03068>曉諭<01696>(8762){<0413>}摩西<04872>說<09001><0559>(8800)：
And the LORD<03068> spake<01696>(8762) unto Moses<04872>, saying<0559>(8800),
16:12 「我已經聽見<08085>(8804){<0853>}以色列<03478>人<01121>的怨言<08519>。你告訴<01696>(8761)他們<0413>說<09001><0559>(8800)：『到<0996>黃昏<06153>的時候，你們要吃<0398>(8799)肉<01320>，早晨<09002><01242>必有食物<03899>得飽<07646>(8799)，你們就知道<03045>(8804){<03588>}我<0589>是耶和華<03068>─你們的上帝<0430>。』」
I have heard<08085>(8804) the murmurings<08519> of the children<01121> of Israel<03478>: speak<01696>(8761) unto them, saying<0559>(8800), At even<0996><06153> ye shall eat<0398>(8799) flesh<01320>, and in the morning<01242> ye shall be filled<07646>(8799) with bread<03899>; and ye shall know<03045>(8804) that I am the LORD<03068> your God<0430>.
16:13 到了<01961>(8799)晚上<09002><06153>，有鵪鶉<07958>飛來<05927>(8799)，遮滿了<03680>(8762){<0853>}營<04264>；早晨<09002><01242>在營<09001><04264>四圍<05439>的地上有<01961>(8804)露水<07902><02919>。
And it came to pass, that at even<06153> the quails<07958> came up<05927>(8799), and covered<03680>(8762) the camp<04264>: and in the morning<01242> the dew<02919> lay<07902> round about<05439> the host<04264>.
16:14 露水<07902><02919>上升<05927>(8799)之後，不料<02009>，野地<04057>面<06440>上<05921>有{<01851>}如白霜<09003><03713>的小<01851>圓物<02636>(8794){<05921>}{<0776>}。
And when the dew<02919> that lay<07902> was gone up<05927>(8799), behold, upon the face<06440> of the wilderness<04057> there lay a small<01851> round thing<02636>(8794), as small<01851> as the hoar frost<03713> on the ground<0776>.
16:15 以色列<03478>人<01121>看見<07200>(8799)，不<03808>知道<03045>(8804)是<01931>甚麼<04100>，就彼此<0376><0413><0251>對問說<0559>(8799)：「這<01931>是<03588>甚麼<04478>呢？」摩西<04872>對他們<0413>說<0559>(8799)：「這<01931>就是<0834>耶和華<03068>給<05414>(8804)你們<09001>吃的<09001><0402>食物<03899>。
And when the children<01121> of Israel<03478> saw<07200>(8799) it , they said<0559>(8799) one<0376> to another<0251>, It is manna<04478>: for they wist<03045>(8804) not what it was . And Moses<04872> said<0559>(8799) unto them, This is the bread<03899> which the LORD<03068> hath given<05414>(8804) you to eat<0402>. {It is...: or, What is this? or, It is a portion}
16:16 耶和華<03068>所<0834>吩咐的<06680>(8765){<01697>}是這樣<02088>：你們要按著<09001><06310>各人<0376>的飯量<0400>，{<09001>}{<0834>}為帳棚裡<09002><0168>的人<0376>，按著人<05315>數<04557>收起來<03947>(8799)，各<09001><01538>拿<03950>(8798){<04480>}一俄梅珥<06016>。」
This is the thing<01697> which<0834> the LORD<03068> hath commanded<06680>(8765), Gather<03950>(8798) of it every man<0376> according<06310> to his eating<0400>, an omer<06016> for every man<01538>, according to the number<04557> of your persons<05315>; take<03947>(8799) ye every man<0376> for them which are in his tents<0168>. {for every...: Heb. by the poll, or, head} {persons: Heb. souls}
16:17 以色列<03478>人<01121>就這樣<03651>行<06213>(8799)；有多<07235>(8688)收<03950>(8799)的，有少收的<04591>(8688)。
And the children<01121> of Israel<03478> did<06213>(8799) so, and gathered<03950>(8799), some more<07235>(8688), some less<04591>(8688).
16:18 及至用俄梅珥<09002><06016>量一量<04058>(8799)，多收的<07235>(8688)也沒有<03808>餘<05736>(8689)，少收的<04591>(8688)也沒有<03808>缺<02637>(8689)；各人<0376>按著<09001><06310>自己的飯量<0400>收取<03950>(8804)。
And when they did mete<04058>(8799) it with an omer<06016>, he that gathered much<07235>(8688) had nothing over<05736>(8689), and he that gathered little<04591>(8688) had no lack<02637>(8689); they gathered<03950>(8804) every man<0376> according<06310> to his eating<0400>.
16:19 摩西<04872>對他們<0413>說<0559>(8799)：「所收的<04480>，不許<0408>甚麼人<0376>留<03498>(8686)到<05704>早晨<01242>。」
And Moses<04872> said<0559>(8799), Let no man<0376> leave<03498>(8686) of it till the morning<01242>.
16:20 然而他們不<03808>聽<08085>(8804){<0413>}摩西<04872>的話，內中有{<0582>}留<03498>(8686){<04480>}到<05704>早晨<01242>的，就生<07311>(8799)蟲<08438>變臭了<0887>(8799)；摩西<04872>便向他們<05921>發怒<07107>(8799)。
Notwithstanding they hearkened<08085>(8804) not unto Moses<04872>; but some<0582> of them left<03498>(8686) of it until the morning<01242>, and it bred<07311>(8799) worms<08438>, and stank<0887>(8799): and Moses<04872> was wroth<07107>(8799) with them.
16:21 他們每日<09002><01242>早晨<09002><01242>，按著<09003><06310>各人<0376>的飯量<0400>收取<03950>(8799){<0853>}，日頭<08121>一發熱<02552>(8804)，就消化了<04549>(8738)。
And they gathered<03950>(8799) it every morning<01242>, every man<0376> according<06310> to his eating<0400>: and when the sun<08121> waxed hot<02552>(8804), it melted<04549>(8738).
16:22 到<01961>(8799)第六<08345>天<09002><03117>，他們收了<03950>(8804)雙倍<04932>的食物<03899>，每人<09001><0259>兩<08147>俄梅珥<06016>。會眾<05712>的{<03605>}官長<05387>來<0935>(8799)告訴<05046>(8686)摩西<09001><04872>；
And it came to pass, that on the sixth<08345> day<03117> they gathered<03950>(8804) twice<04932> as much bread<03899>, two<08147> omers<06016> for one<0259> man : and all the rulers<05387> of the congregation<05712> came<0935>(8799) and told<05046>(8686) Moses<04872>.
16:23 摩西對他們<0413>說<0559>(8799)：「耶和華<03068>這樣<01931><0834>說<01696>(8765)：『明天<04279>是聖<06944>安息日<07677>，是向耶和華<09001><03068>守的聖安息日<07676>。{<0853>}你們要烤<0644>(8799)的<0834>就烤了<0644>(8798)，{<0853>}要煮<01310>(8762)的<0834>就煮了<01310>(8761)，{<0853>}所<03605>剩下的<05736>(8802)都留<05117>(8685){<09001>}{<09001>}{<04931>}到<05704>早晨<01242>。』」
And he said<0559>(8799) unto them, This is that which the LORD<03068> hath said<01696>(8765), To morrow<04279> is the rest<07677> of the holy<06944> sabbath<07676> unto the LORD<03068>: bake<0644>(8798) that which ye will bake<0644>(8799) to day , and seethe<01310>(8761) that ye will seethe<01310>(8762); and that which<03605> remaineth over<05736>(8802) lay up<03240>(8685) for you to be kept<04931> until the morning<01242>.
16:24 他們就照<09003><0834>摩西<04872>的吩咐<06680>(8765)留<05117>(8686){<0853>}到<05704>早晨<01242>，也不<03808>臭<0887>(8689)，裡頭<09002>也沒<03808>有<01961>(8804)蟲子<07415>。
And they laid it up<03240>(8686) till the morning<01242>, as Moses<04872> bade<06680>(8765): and it did not stink<0887>(8689), neither was there any worm<07415> therein.
16:25 摩西<04872>說<0559>(8799)：「你們今天<03117>吃這個吧<0398>(8798)！因為<03588>今天<03117>是向耶和華<09001><03068>守的安息日<07676>；{<03117>}你們在田野<09002><07704>必找<04672>(8799)不著<03808>了。
And Moses<04872> said<0559>(8799), Eat<0398>(8798) that to day<03117>; for to day<03117> is a sabbath<07676> unto the LORD<03068>: to day<03117> ye shall not find<04672>(8799) it in the field<07704>.
16:26 六<08337>天<03117>可以收取<03950>(8799)，第七<07637>天<09002><03117>乃是安息日<07676>，那一天<09002>必沒<03808>有<01961>(8799)了。」
Six<08337> days<03117> ye shall gather<03950>(8799) it; but on the seventh<07637> day<03117>, which is the sabbath<07676>, in it there shall be none.
16:27 {<01961>}{(8799)}第七<07637>天<09002><03117>，{<04480>}百姓<05971>中有人出去<03318>(8804)收<09001><03950>(8800)，甚麼也找<04672>(8804)不著<03808>。
And it came to pass, that there went out<03318>(8804) some of the people<05971> on the seventh<07637> day<03117> for to gather<03950>(8800), and they found<04672>(8804) none.
16:28 耶和華<03068>對<0413>摩西<04872>說<0559>(8799)：「你們不肯<03985>(8765)守<09001><08104>(8800)我的誡命<04687>和律法<08451>，要到<05704>幾時<0575>呢？
And the LORD<03068> said<0559>(8799) unto Moses<04872>, How long refuse<03985>(8765) ye to keep<08104>(8800) my commandments<04687> and my laws<08451>?
16:29 你們看<07200>(8798)！耶和華<03068>既<03588>將安息日<07676>賜<05414>(8804)給你們<09001>，所以<05921><03651>第六<08345>天<09002><03117>他<01931>賜<05414>(8802)給你們<09001>兩天<03117>的食物<03899>，第七<07637>天<09002><03117>各人<0376>要住<03427>(8798)在自己的地方<08478>，不許<0408>甚麼人<0376>出去<03318>(8799){<04480>}{<04725>}。」
See<07200>(8798), for that the LORD<03068> hath given<05414>(8804) you the sabbath<07676>, therefore he giveth<05414>(8802) you on the sixth<08345> day<03117> the bread<03899> of two days<03117>; abide<03427>(8798) ye every man<0376> in his place, let no man<0376> go out<03318>(8799) of his place<04725> on the seventh<07637> day<03117>.
16:30 於是百姓<05971>第七<07637>天<09002><03117>安息了<07673>(8799)。
So the people<05971> rested<07673>(8799) on the seventh<07637> day<03117>.
16:31 這食物，以色列<03478>家<01004>叫<07121>(8799){<0853>}{<08034>}嗎哪<04478>；{<01931>}樣子像芫荽<01407>子<09003><02233>，顏色是白<03836>的，滋味<02940>如同攙蜜<09002><01706>的薄餅<09003><06838>。
And the house<01004> of Israel<03478> called<07121>(8799) the name<08034> thereof Manna<04478>: and it was like coriander<01407> seed<02233>, white<03836>; and the taste<02940> of it was like wafers<06838> made with honey<01706>.
16:32 摩西<04872>說<0559>(8799)：「耶和華<03068>所<0834>吩咐<06680>(8765)的是這樣<02088><01697>：『要將一滿<04393>俄梅珥<06016>嗎哪<04480>留<09001><04931>到世世代代<09001><01755>，使<09001><09001><04616>後人可以看見<07200>(8799){<0853>}我當日將你們<0853>領<09002><03318>(8687)出埃及<04714>地<04480><0776>，在曠野<09002><04057>所<0834>給你們<0853>吃的<0398>(8689)食物<03899>。』」
And Moses<04872> said<0559>(8799), This is the thing<01697> which the LORD<03068> commandeth<06680>(8765), Fill<04393> an omer<06016> of it to be kept<04931> for your generations<01755>; that they may see<07200>(8799) the bread<03899> wherewith I have fed<0398>(8689) you in the wilderness<04057>, when I brought you forth<03318>(8687) from the land<0776> of Egypt<04714>.
16:33 摩西<04872>對<0413>亞倫<0175>說<0559>(8799)：「你拿<03947>(8798)一個<0259>罐子<06803>，盛<05414>(8798)一滿<04393>俄梅珥<06016>嗎哪<04478>{<08033>}，存<05117>(8685){<0853>}在耶和華<03068>面前<09001><06440>，要留<09001><04931>到世世代代<09001><01755>。」
And Moses<04872> said<0559>(8799) unto Aaron<0175>, Take<03947>(8798) a<0259> pot<06803>, and put<05414>(8798) an omer<06016> full<04393> of manna<04478> therein, and lay it up<03240>(8685) before<06440> the LORD<03068>, to be kept<04931> for your generations<01755>.
16:34 耶和華<03068>怎麼<09003><0834>吩咐<06680>(8765){<0413>}摩西<04872>，亞倫<0175>就怎麼行，把嗎哪放<05117>(8686)在法櫃<05715>前<09001><06440>存留<09001><04931>。
As the LORD<03068> commanded<06680>(8765) Moses<04872>, so Aaron<0175> laid it up<03240>(8686) before<06440> the Testimony<05715>, to be kept<04931>.
16:35 以色列<03478>人<01121>吃<0398>(8804){<0853>}嗎哪<04478>共四十<0705>年<08141>，直到<05704>進了<0935>(8800){<0413>}有人居住<03427>(8737)之地<0776>，{<0398>}{(8804)}{<0853>}{<04478>}{<05704>}就是{<0935>}{(8804)}{<0413>}迦南<03667>{<0776>}的境界<07097>。
And the children<01121> of Israel<03478> did eat<0398>(8804) manna<04478> forty<0705> years<08141>, until they came<0935>(8800) to a land<0776> inhabited<03427>(8737); they did eat<0398>(8804) manna<04478>, until they came<0935>(8800) unto the borders<07097> of the land<0776> of Canaan<03667>.
16:36 （俄梅珥<06016>就是<01931>伊法<0374>十分之一<06224>。）
Now an omer<06016> is the tenth<06224> part of an ephah<0374>.
