5:1 你們當在耶路撒冷<03389>的街上<09002><02351>跑來跑去<07751>(8786)，在寬闊處<09002><07339>尋找<01245>(8761)，看看<07200>(8798){<04994>}有<03045>(8798){<04672>}{(8799)}一人<0376>行<06213>(8802)公義<04941>求<01245>(8764)誠實<0530>沒有<0518>？若<0518>有<03426>，我就赦免<05545>(8799)這城<09001>。
Run ye to and fro<07751>(8786) through the streets<02351> of Jerusalem<03389>, and see<07200>(8798) now, and know<03045>(8798), and seek<01245>(8761) in the broad places<07339> thereof, if ye can find<04672>(8799) a man<0376>, if there be<03426> any that executeth<06213>(8802) judgment<04941>, that seeketh<01245>(8764) the truth<0530>; and I will pardon<05545>(8799) it.
5:2 其中的人雖然<0518>指著永生<02416>的耶和華<03068>起誓<0559>(8799)，所起的誓<07650>(8735)實在<09001><03651>是假的<09001><08267>。
And though they say<0559>(8799), The LORD<03068> liveth<02416>; surely they swear<07650>(8735) falsely<08267>.
5:3 耶和華<03068>啊，你的眼目<05869>不是<03808>看顧誠實<09001><0530>嗎？你擊打<05221>(8689)他們<0853>，他們卻不<03808>傷慟<02342>(8804)；你毀滅他們<03615>(8765)，他們仍不<03985>(8765)受<03947>(8800)懲治<04148>。他們使臉<06440>剛硬<02388>(8765)過於磐石<04480><05553>，不肯<03985>(8765)回頭<09001><07725>(8800)。
O LORD<03068>, are not thine eyes<05869> upon the truth<0530>? thou hast stricken<05221>(8689) them, but they have not grieved<02342>(8804); thou hast consumed<03615>(8765) them, but they have refused<03985>(8765) to receive<03947>(8800) correction<04148>: they have made their faces<06440> harder<02388>(8765) than a rock<05553>; they have refused<03985>(8765) to return<07725>(8800).
5:4 我<0589>說<0559>(8804)：這些人<01992>實在<0389>是貧窮的<01800>，是愚昧的<02973>(8738)，因為<03588>不<03808>曉得<03045>(8804)耶和華<03068>的作為<01870>和他們　神<0430>的法則<04941>。
Therefore I said<0559>(8804), Surely these are poor<01800>; they are foolish<02973>(8738): for they know<03045>(8804) not the way<01870> of the LORD<03068>, nor the judgment<04941> of their God<0430>.
5:5 我<09001>要去<03212>(8799)見<0413>尊大的人<01419>，對他們<0853>說話<01696>(8762)，因為<03588>他們<01992>曉得<03045>(8804)耶和華<03068>的作為<01870>和他們　神<0430>的法則<04941>。哪知<0389>，這些人<01992>齊心<03162>將軛<05923>折斷<07665>(8804)，掙開<05423>(8765)繩索<04147>。
I will get<03212>(8799) me unto the great men<01419>, and will speak<01696>(8762) unto them; for they have known<03045>(8804) the way<01870> of the LORD<03068>, and the judgment<04941> of their God<0430>: but these have altogether<03162> broken<07665>(8804) the yoke<05923>, and burst<05423>(8765) the bonds<04147>.
5:6 因此<05921><03651>，林中<04480><03293>的獅子<0738>必害死他們<05221>(8689)；晚上<06160>（或譯：野地）的豺狼<02061>必滅絕他們<07703>(8799)；豹子<05246>要在<05921>城外<05892>窺伺<08245>(8802)他們。凡<03605>出<03318>(8802)城的<04480><02007>必被撕碎<02963>(8735)；因為<03588>他們的罪過<06588>極多<07231>(8804)，背道的事<04878>也加增了<06105>(8804)。
Wherefore a lion<0738> out of the forest<03293> shall slay<05221>(8689) them, and a wolf<02061> of the evenings<06160> shall spoil<07703>(8799) them, a leopard<05246> shall watch<08245>(8802) over their cities<05892>: every one that goeth out<03318>(8802) thence shall<02007> be torn in pieces<02963>(8735): because their transgressions<06588> are many<07231>(8804), and their backslidings<04878> are increased<06105>(8804). {evenings: or, deserts} {are increased: Heb. are strong}
5:7 我怎能<0335>{<09001>}{<02063>}赦免<05545>(8799)你<09001>呢？你的兒女<01121>離棄我<05800>(8804)，又指著那不是<09002><03808>神<0430>的起誓<07650>(8735)。我使他們<0853>飽足<07646>(8686)，他們就行姦淫<05003>(8799)，成群地聚集<01413>(8704)在娼妓<02181>(8802)家裡<01004>。
How<0335> shall I pardon<05545>(8799) thee for this<02063>? thy children<01121> have forsaken<05800>(8804) me, and sworn<07650>(8735) by them that are no<03808> gods<0430>: when I had fed them to the full<07650>(8686), they then committed adultery<05003>(8799), and assembled themselves by troops<01413>(8704) in the harlots<02181>(8802)' houses<01004>.
5:8 他們像<01961>餵飽<02109>(8716)的馬<05483>到處亂跑<07904>(8688)，各<0376>向<0413>他鄰舍<07453>的妻<0802>發嘶聲<06670>(8799)。
They were as fed<02109>(8716) horses<05483> in the morning<07904>(8688): every one<0376> neighed<06670>(8799) after his neighbour's<07453> wife<0802>.
5:9 耶和華<03068>說<05002>(8803)：我<05315>豈不<03808>因<05921>這些事<0428>討罪<06485>(8799)呢？豈<0518>不<03808>報復<05358>(8691)這樣的<0834><09003><02088>國民<09002><01471>呢？
Shall I not visit<06485>(8799) for these things ? saith<05002>(8803) the LORD<03068>: and shall not my soul<05315> be avenged<05358>(8691) on such a nation<01471> as this?
5:10 你們要上<05927>(8798)她葡萄園的牆<09002><08284>施行毀壞<07843>(8761)，但不可<0408>毀壞<06213>(8799)淨盡<03617>，只可除掉<05493>(8685)她的枝子<05189>，因為<03588>{<01992>}不<03808>屬耶和華<09001><03068>。
Go ye up<05927>(8798) upon her walls<08284>, and destroy<07843>(8761); but make<06213>(8799) not a full end<03617>: take away<05493>(8685) her battlements<05189>; for they are not the LORD'S<03068>.
5:11 原來<03588>以色列<03478>家<01004>和猶大<03063>家<01004>大<0898>(8800)行詭詐<0898>(8804)攻擊我<09002>。這是耶和華<03068>說的<05002>(8803)。
For the house<01004> of Israel<03478> and the house<01004> of Judah<03063> have dealt very<0898>(8800) treacherously<0898>(8804) against me, saith<05002>(8803) the LORD<03068>.
5:12 他們不認<03584>(8765)耶和華<09002><03068>，說<0559>(8799)：這並不是<03808>他<01931>，災禍<07451>必不<03808>臨到<0935>(8799)我們<05921>；刀劍<02719>和饑荒<07458>，我們也看不<03808>見<07200>(8799)。
They have belied<03584>(8765) the LORD<03068>, and said<0559>(8799), It is not he; neither shall evil<07451> come<0935>(8799) upon us; neither shall we see<07200>(8799) sword<02719> nor famine<07458>:
5:13 先知<05030>的話必成為<01961>風<09001><07307>；道<01696>(8763)也不<0369>在他們裡面<09002>。{<03541>}這災必臨到<06213>(8735)他們身上<09001>。
And the prophets<05030> shall become wind<07307>, and the word<01696>(8763) is not in them: thus shall it be done<06213>(8735) unto them.
5:14 所以<09001><03651>耶和華<03068>─萬軍<06635>之　神<0430>如此<03541>說<0559>(8804)：因為<03282>百姓說<01696>(8763){<0853>}這<02088>話<01697>，我必<02009>使<05414>(8802)我的話<01697>在你口中<09002><06310>為火<09001><0784>，使他們<02088><05971>為柴<06086>；這火便將他們燒滅<0398>(8804)。
Wherefore thus saith<0559>(8804) the LORD<03068> God<0430> of hosts<06635>, Because ye speak<01696>(8763) this word<01697>, behold, I will make<05414>(8802) my words<01697> in thy mouth<06310> fire<0784>, and this people<05971> wood<06086>, and it shall devour<0398>(8804) them.
5:15 耶和華<03068>說<05002>(8803)：以色列<03478>家<01004>啊，我必<02009>使<0935>(8688)一國的民<01471>從遠方<04480><04801>來攻擊你<05921>，是<01931>強盛<0386>的國<01471>，是<01931>從古<04480><05769>而有的國<01471>。他們{<01471>}的言語<03956>你不<03808>曉得<03045>(8799)，他們{<04100>}的話<01696>(8762)你不<03808>明白<08085>(8799)。
Lo, I will bring<0935>(8688) a nation<01471> upon you from far<04801>, O house<01004> of Israel<03478>, saith<05002>(8803) the LORD<03068>: it is a mighty<0386> nation<01471>, it is an ancient<05769> nation<01471>, a nation<01471> whose language<03956> thou knowest<03045>(8799) not, neither understandest<08085>(8799) what they say<01696>(8762).
5:16 他們的箭袋<0827>是敞開<06605>(8803)的墳墓<09003><06913>；他們都<03605>是勇士<01368>。
Their quiver<0827> is as an open<06605>(8803) sepulchre<06913>, they are all mighty men<01368>.
5:17 他們必吃盡<0398>(8804)你的莊稼<07105>和你的糧食<03899>，是你兒<01121>女<01323>該吃的<0398>(8799)；必吃盡<0398>(8799)你的牛<01241>羊<06629>，吃盡<0398>(8799)你的葡萄<01612>和無花果<08384>；又必用刀<09002><02719>毀壞<07567>(8779)你<0859>所<0834>倚靠<0982>(8802){<09002>}{<02007>}的堅固<04013>城<05892>。
And they shall eat up<0398>(8804) thine harvest<07105>, and thy bread<03899>, which thy sons<01121> and thy daughters<01323> should eat<0398>(8799): they shall eat up<0398>(8799) thy flocks<06629> and thine herds<01241>: they shall eat up<0398>(8799) thy vines<01612> and thy fig trees<08384>: they shall impoverish<07567>(8779) thy fenced<04013> cities<05892>, wherein thou<02007> trustedst<0982>(8802), with the sword<02719>.
5:18 耶和華<03068>說<05002>(8803)：「就是<01571>到那<01992>時<09002><03117>，我也不<03808>將你們<0854>毀滅<06213>(8799)淨盡<03617>。
Nevertheless in those days<03117>, saith<05002>(8803) the LORD<03068>, I will not make<06213>(8799) a full end<03617> with you.
5:19 {<01961>}百姓若<03588>說<0559>(8799)：『耶和華<03068>─我們的　神<0430>為甚麼<08478><04100>向我們<09001>行<06213>(8804){<0853>}這<0428>一切<03605>事呢？』你就對他們<0413>說<0559>(8804)：『你們怎樣<09003><0834>離棄<05800>(8804)耶和華（原文是我<0853>），在你們的地上<09002><0776>事奉<05647>(8799)外邦<05236>神<0430>，也必照樣<03651>在不<03808>屬你們<09001>的地上<09002><0776>事奉<05647>(8799)外邦人<02114>(8801)。』」
And it shall come to pass, when ye shall say<0559>(8799), Wherefore<08478><04100> doeth<06213>(8804) the LORD<03068> our God<0430> all these things unto us? then shalt thou answer<0559>(8804) them, Like as ye have forsaken<05800>(8804) me, and served<05647>(8799) strange<05236> gods<0430> in your land<0776>, so shall ye serve<05647>(8799) strangers<02114>(8801) in a land<0776> that is not yours.
5:20 當傳揚<05046>(8685){<02063>}在雅各<03290>家<09002><01004>，報告<08085>(8685)在猶大<09002><03063>說<09001><0559>(8800)：
Declare<05046>(8685) this in the house<01004> of Jacob<03290>, and publish<08085>(8685) it in Judah<03063>, saying<0559>(8800),
5:21 愚昧<05530>無知<0369><03820>的百姓<05971>啊，你們<09001>有眼<05869>不<03808>看<07200>(8799)，{<09001>}有耳<0241>不<03808>聽<08085>(8799)，現在<04994>當聽<08085>(8798)這話<02063>。
Hear<08085>(8798) now this, O foolish<05530> people<05971>, and without understanding<03820>; which have eyes<05869>, and see<07200>(8799) not; which have ears<0241>, and hear<08085>(8799) not: {understanding: Heb. heart}
5:22 耶和華<03068>說<05002>(8803)：你們怎麼不<03808>懼怕<03372>(8799)我呢<0853>？{<0834>}我以永遠<05769>的定例<02706>，用<07760>(8804)沙<02344>為海<09001><03220>的界限<01366>，水不<03808>得越過<05674>(8799)。因此<0518>，你們在我面前<04480><06440>還不<03808>戰兢<02342>(8799)嗎？波浪<01530>雖然翻騰<01607>(8691)，卻不<03808>能逾越<03201>(8799)；雖然匉訇<01993>(8804)，卻不<03808>能過去<05674>(8799)。
Fear<03372>(8799) ye not me? saith<05002>(8803) the LORD<03068>: will ye not tremble<02342>(8799) at my presence<06440>, which have placed<07760>(8804) the sand<02344> for the bound<01366> of the sea<03220> by a perpetual<05769> decree<02706>, that it cannot pass<05674>(8799) it: and though the waves<01530> thereof toss<01607>(8691) themselves, yet can they not prevail<03201>(8799); though they roar<01993>(8804), yet can they not pass over<05674>(8799) it?
5:23 但這<02088>百姓<09001><05971>有<01961>背叛<05637>(8802)忤逆<04784>(8802)的心<03820>；他們叛<05493>(8804)我而去<03212>(8799)，
But this people<05971> hath a revolting<05637>(8802) and a rebellious<04784>(8802) heart<03820>; they are revolted<05493>(8804) and gone<03212>(8799).
5:24 心內<09002><03824>也不<03808>說<0559>(8804)：我們應當<04994>敬畏<03372>(8799){<0853>}耶和華<03068>─我們的　神<0430>；他按時<09002><06256>賜<05414>(8802)雨<01653>，就是秋雨<03138>春雨<04456>，又為我們<09001>定<08104>(8799)收割<07105>的節<07620>令<02708>，永存不廢。
Neither say<0559>(8804) they in their heart<03824>, Let us now fear<03372>(8799) the LORD<03068> our God<0430>, that giveth<05414>(8802) rain<01653>, both the former<03138> and the latter<04456>, in his season<06256>: he reserveth<08104>(8799) unto us the appointed<02708> weeks<07620> of the harvest<07105>.
5:25 你們的罪孽<05771>使這些事<0428>轉離<05186>(8689)你們；你們的罪惡<02403>使你們<04480>不能得<04513>(8804)福<02896>。
Your iniquities<05771> have turned away<05186>(8689) these things , and your sins<02403> have withholden<04513>(8804) good<02896> things from you.
5:26 因為<03588>在我民中<09002><05971>有<04672>(8738)惡人<07563>。他們埋伏窺探<07789>(8799)，好像捕<09003><07918>(8800)鳥<03353>的人；他們設立<05324>(8689)圈套<04889>陷害<03920>(8799)人<0582>。
For among my people<05971> are found<04672>(8738) wicked<07563> men : they lay wait<07789>(8799), as he that setteth<07918>(8800) snares<03353>; they set<05324>(8689) a trap<04889>, they catch<03920>(8799) men<0582>. {they lay...: or, they pry as fowlers lie in wait}
5:27 籠<09003><03619>內怎樣滿了<04392>雀鳥<05775>，他們的房中<01004>也照樣<03651>充滿<04392>詭詐<04820>；所以<05921><03651>他們得成為大<01431>(8804)，而且富足<06238>(8686)。
As a cage<03619> is full<04392> of birds<05775>, so are their houses<01004> full<04392> of deceit<04820>: therefore they are become great<01431>(8804), and waxen rich<06238>(8686). {cage: or, coop}
5:28 他們肥胖<08080>(8804)光潤<06245>(8804)，{<01571>}作<01697>惡<07451>過甚<05674>(8804)，不<03808>為人伸冤<01777>(8804)<01779>！就是不為孤兒<03490>伸冤<01779>，不使他亨通<06743>(8686)，也不<03808>為窮人<034>辨<08199>(8804)屈<04941>。
They are waxen fat<08080>(8804), they shine<06245>(8804): yea, they overpass<05674>(8804) the deeds<01697> of the wicked<07451>: they judge<01777>(8804) not the cause<01779>, the cause of the fatherless<03490>, yet they prosper<06743>(8686); and the right<04941> of the needy<034> do they not judge<08199>(8804).
5:29 耶和華<03068>說<05002>(8803)：我<05315>豈不<03808>因<05921>這些事<0428>討罪<06485>(8799)呢？{<0518>}豈不<03808>報復<05358>(8691)這樣的<0834><09003><02088>國民<09002><01471>呢？
Shall I not visit<06485>(8799) for these things ? saith<05002>(8803) the LORD<03068>: shall not my soul<05315> be avenged<05358>(8691) on such a nation<01471> as this?
5:30 國中<09002><0776>有<01961>(8738)可驚駭<08047>、可憎惡的事<08186>：
A wonderful<08047> and horrible thing<08186> is committed<01961>(8738) in the land<0776>; {A wonderful...: or, Astonishment and filthiness}
5:31 就是先知<05030>說假<09002><08267>預言<05012>(8738)，祭司<03548>藉<05921>他們{<03027>}把持權柄<07287>(8799)；我的百姓<05971>也喜愛<0157>(8804)這些事<03651>，到了結局<09001><0319>你們怎樣<04100>行<06213>(8799)呢？
The prophets<05030> prophesy<05012>(8738) falsely<08267>, and the priests<03548> bear rule<07287>(8799) by their means<03027>; and my people<05971> love<0157>(8804) to have it so: and what will ye do<06213>(8799) in the end<0319> thereof? {bear...: or, take into their hands}
