The words<01697> of king<04428> Lemuel<03927>, the prophecy<04853> that his mother<0517> taught<03256>(8765) him.
31:2 {<04100>}我的兒<01248>啊，{<04100>}我腹中<0990>生的兒<01248>啊，{<04100>}我許願<05088>得的兒<01248>啊！我當怎樣教訓你呢？
What, my son<01248>? and what, the son<01248> of my womb<0990>? and what, the son<01248> of my vows<05088>?
31:3 不要<0408>將你的精力<02428>給<05414>(8799)婦女<09001><0802>；也不要有敗壞<09001><04229>(8687)君王<04428>的行為<01870>。
Give<05414>(8799) not thy strength<02428> unto women<0802>, nor thy ways<01870> to that which destroyeth<04229>(8687) kings<04428>.
31:4 利慕伊勒<03927>啊，君王<09001><04428>喝酒，君王<09001><04428>喝<08354>(8800)酒<03196>不相宜<0408>；王子<09001><07336>(8802)說濃酒<07941>在那裡<0335>(8675)<0176>也不相宜<0408>；
It is not for kings<04428>, O Lemuel<03927>, it is not for kings<04428> to drink<08354>(8800) wine<03196>; nor for<0335>(8675)<0176> princes<07336>(8802) strong drink<07941>:
31:5 恐怕<06435>喝了<08354>(8799)就忘記<07911>(8799)律例<02710>(8794)，顛倒<08138>(8762)一切<03605>困苦<06040>人<01121>的是非<01779>。
