24:1 你不要<0408>嫉妒<07065>(8762)惡<07451>人<09002><0582>，也不要<0408>起意<0183>(8691)與他們<0854>相處<09001><01961>；
Be not thou envious<07065>(8762) against evil<07451> men<0582>, neither desire<0183>(8691) to be with them.
24:2 因為<03588>，他們的心<03820>圖謀<01897>(8799)強暴<07701>，他們的口<08193>談論<01696>(8762)奸惡<05999>。
For their heart<03820> studieth<01897>(8799) destruction<07701>, and their lips<08193> talk<01696>(8762) of mischief<05999>.
24:3 房屋<01004>因智慧<09002><02451>建造<01129>(8735)，又因聰明<09002><08394>立穩<03559>(8709)；
Through wisdom<02451> is an house<01004> builded<01129>(8735); and by understanding<08394> it is established<03559>(8709):
24:4 其中<02315>因知識<09002><01847>充滿<04390>(8735)各樣<03605>美好<03368>寶貴<05273>的財物<01952>。
And by knowledge<01847> shall the chambers<02315> be filled<04390>(8735) with all precious<03368> and pleasant<05273> riches<01952>.
24:5 智慧<02450>人<01397>大有能力<09002><05797>；有知識<01847>的人<0376>力上加<0553>(8764)力<03581>。
A wise<02450> man<01397> is strong<05797>; yea, a man<0376> of knowledge<01847> increaseth<0553>(8764) strength<03581>. {is strong: Heb. is in strength} {increaseth...: Heb. strengtheneth might}
24:6 你<09001>去打<06213>(8799)仗<04421>，{<03588>}要憑智謀<09002><08458>；謀士<03289>(8802)眾多<09002><07230>，人便得勝<08668>。
For by wise counsel<08458> thou shalt make<06213>(8799) thy war<04421>: and in multitude<07230> of counsellors<03289>(8802) there is safety<08668>.
24:7 智慧<02454>極高<07311>(8802)，非愚昧人<09001><0191>所能及，所以在城門<09002><08179>內不敢<03808>開<06605>(8799)口<06310>。
Wisdom<02454> is too high<07311>(8802) for a fool<0191>: he openeth<06605>(8799) not his mouth<06310> in the gate<08179>.
24:8 設計<02803>(8764)作惡<09001><07489>(8687)的，必稱<07121>(8799)為<09001>奸<04209>人<01167>。
He that deviseth<02803>(8764) to do evil<07489>(8687) shall be called<07121>(8799) a mischievous<04209> person<01167>.
24:9 愚妄人<0200>的思念<02154>乃是罪惡<02403>；褻慢者<03887>(8801)為人<09001><0120>所憎惡<08441>。
The thought<02154> of foolishness<0200> is sin<02403>: and the scorner<03887>(8801) is an abomination<08441> to men<0120>.
24:10 你在患難<06869>之日<09002><03117>若膽怯<07503>(8694)，你的力量<03581>就微小<06862>。
If thou faint<07503>(8694) in the day<03117> of adversity<06869>, thy strength<03581> is small<06862>. {small: Heb. narrow}
24:11 人被拉<03947>(8803)到死地<09001><04194>，你要解救<05337>(8685)；人將<04131>(8801)被殺<09001><02027>，你須<0518>攔阻<02820>(8799)。
If thou forbear<02820>(8799) to deliver<05337>(8685) them that are drawn<03947>(8803) unto death<04194>, and those that are ready<04131>(8801) to be slain<02027>;
24:12 你若<03588>說<0559>(8799)：{<02005>}這事<02088>我未<03808>曾知道<03045>(8804)，那衡量<08505>(8802)人心<03826>的豈不<01931>明白<0995>(8799)嗎？保守<05341>(8802)你命<05315>的豈不<01931>知道<03045>(8799)嗎？他豈不按各人所行<09003><06467>的報應<07725>(8689)各人<09001><0120>嗎？
If thou sayest<0559>(8799), Behold, we knew<03045>(8804) it not; doth not he that pondereth<08505>(8802) the heart<03826> consider<0995>(8799) it ? and he that keepeth<05341>(8802) thy soul<05315>, doth not he know<03045>(8799) it ? and shall not he render<07725>(8689) to every man<0120> according to his works<06467>?
24:13 我兒<01121>，你要吃<0398>(8798)蜜<01706>，因為<03588>是好<02896>的；吃蜂房下滴的蜜<05317>便<05921>覺<02441>甘甜<04966>。
My son<01121>, eat<0398>(8798) thou honey<01706>, because it is good<02896>; and the honeycomb<05317>, which is sweet<04966> to thy taste<02441>: {to...: Heb. upon thy palate}
24:14 你心<09001><05315>得了智慧<02451>，也必覺得<03045>(8798)如此<03651>。你若<0518>找著<04672>(8804)，至終<0319>必有<03426>善報；你的指望<08615>也不致<03808>斷絕<03772>(8735)。
So shall the knowledge<03045>(8798) of wisdom<02451> be unto thy soul<05315>: when thou hast found<04672>(8804) it , then there shall be<03426> a reward<0319>, and thy expectation<08615> shall not be cut off<03772>(8735).
24:15 你這惡人<07563>，不要<0408>埋伏攻擊<0693>(8799)義人<06662>的家<09001><05116>；不要<0408>毀壞<07703>(8762)他安居之所<07258>。
Lay not wait<0693>(8799), O wicked<07563> man , against the dwelling<05116> of the righteous<06662>; spoil<07703>(8762) not his resting place<07258>:
24:16 因為<03588>，義人<06662>雖七次<07651>跌倒<05307>(8799)，仍必興起<06965>(8804)；惡人<07563>卻被禍患<09002><07451>傾倒<03782>(8735)。
For a just<06662> man falleth<05307>(8799) seven times<07651>, and riseth up again<06965>(8804): but the wicked<07563> shall fall<03782>(8735) into mischief<07451>.
24:17 你仇敵<0341>(8802)跌倒<09002><05307>(8800)，你不要<0408>歡喜<08055>(8799)；他傾倒<09002><03782>(8736)，你心<03820>不要<0408>快樂<01523>(8799)；
Rejoice<08055>(8799) not when thine enemy<0341>(8802) falleth<05307>(8800), and let not thine heart<03820> be glad<01523>(8799) when he stumbleth<03782>(8736):
24:18 恐怕<06435>耶和華<03068>看見<07200>(8799)就不喜悅<07489>(8804)<09002><05869>，將怒氣<0639>從仇敵身上<04480><05921>轉過來<07725>(8689)。
Lest the LORD<03068> see<07200>(8799) it , and it displease<07489>(8804)<05869> him, and he turn away<07725>(8689) his wrath<0639> from him. {it displeaseth...: Heb. it be evil in his eyes}
24:19 不要<0408>為作惡的<09002><07489>(8688)心懷不平<02734>(8691)，也不要<0408>嫉妒<07065>(8762)惡人<09002><07563>；
Fret<02734>(8691) not thyself because of evil<07489>(8688) men , neither be thou envious<07065>(8762) at the wicked<07563>; {Fret...: or, Keep not company with the wicked}
24:20 因為<03588>，惡人<09001><07451>終<0319>不<03808>得<01961>善報；惡人<07563>的燈<05216>也必熄滅<01846>(8799)。
For there shall be no reward<0319> to the evil<07451> man ; the candle<05216> of the wicked<07563> shall be put out<01846>(8799). {candle: or, lamp}
24:21 我兒<01121>，你要敬畏<03372>(8798){<0853>}耶和華<03068>與君王<04428>，不要<0408>與<05973>反覆無常的人<08138>(8802)結交<06148>(8691)，
My son<01121>, fear<03372>(8798) thou the LORD<03068> and the king<04428>: and meddle<06148>(8691) not with them that are given to change<08138>(8802): {them...: Heb. changers}
24:22 因為<03588>他們的災難<0343>必忽然<06597>而起<06965>(8799)。耶和華與君王{<08147>}所施行的毀滅<06365>，誰<04310>能知道<03045>(8802)呢？
For their calamity<0343> shall rise<06965>(8799) suddenly<06597>; and who knoweth<03045>(8802) the ruin<06365> of them both<08147>?
24:23 以下<0428>也<01571>是智慧人的<09001><02450>箴言：審判時<09002><04941>看<05234>(8687)人情面<06440>是不<01077>好<02896>的。
These things also belong to the wise<02450>. It is not good<02896> to have respect<05234>(8687) of persons<06440> in judgment<04941>.
24:24 對惡人<09001><07563>說<0559>(8802)「你是<0859>義人<06662>」的，這人萬民<05971>必咒詛<05344>(8799)，列邦<03816>必憎惡<02194>(8799)。
He that saith<0559>(8802) unto the wicked<07563>, Thou art righteous<06662>; him shall the people<05971> curse<05344>(8799), nations<03816> shall abhor<02194>(8799) him:
24:25 責備<09001><03198>(8688)惡人的，必得喜悅<05276>(8799)；美好的<02896>福<01293>也必臨<0935>(8799)到他<05921>。
But to them that rebuke<03198>(8688) him shall be delight<05276>(8799), and a good<02896> blessing<01293> shall come<0935>(8799) upon them. {a good...: Heb. a blessing of good}
24:26 應對<07725>(8688)<01697>正直的<05228>，猶如與人親<05401>(8799)嘴<08193>。

24:27 你要在外頭<09002><02351>預備<03559>(8685)工料<04399>，在田間<09002><07704>辦理整齊<06257>(8761)，然後<0310>建造<01129>(8804)房屋<01004>。
Prepare<03559>(8685) thy work<04399> without<02351>, and make it fit<06257>(8761) for thyself in the field<07704>; and afterwards<0310> build<01129>(8804) thine house<01004>.
24:28 不可<0408><01961>無故<02600>作見證<05707>陷害鄰舍<09002><07453>，也不可用嘴<09002><08193>欺騙<06601>(8765)人。
Be not a witness<05707> against thy neighbour<07453> without cause<02600>; and deceive<06601>(8765) not with thy lips<08193>.
24:29 不可<0408>說<0559>(8799)：人怎樣<09003><0834>待<06213>(8804)我<09001>，我也怎樣<03651>待<06213>(8799)他<09001>；我必照他所行的<09003><06467>報復<07725>(8686)他{<09001>}{<0376>}。
Say<0559>(8799) not, I will do<06213>(8799) so to him as he hath done<06213>(8804) to me: I will render<07725>(8686) to the man<0376> according to his work<06467>.
24:30 我經過<05674>(8804){<05921>}懶惰<06102>人<0376>的田地<07704>、{<05921>}無<02638>知<03820>人<0120>的葡萄園<03754>，
I went<05674>(8804) by the field<07704> of the slothful<0376><06102>, and by the vineyard<03754> of the man<0120> void<02638> of understanding<03820>;
24:31 {<02009>}荊棘<07063>長<05927>(8804)滿了<03605>地皮，刺草<02738>遮蓋<03680>(8795)了田面<06440>，石<068>牆<01444>也坍塌<02040>(8738)了。
And, lo, it was all grown over<05927>(8804) with thorns<07063>, and nettles<02738> had covered<03680>(8795) the face<06440> thereof, and the stone<068> wall<01444> thereof was broken down<02040>(8738).
