The proverbs<04912> of Solomon<08010>. A wise<02450> son<01121> maketh a glad<08055>(8762) father<01>: but a foolish<03684> son<01121> is the heaviness<08424> of his mother<0517>.
10:2 不義<07562>之財<0214>毫無<03808>益處<03276>(8686)；惟有公義<06666>能救人<05337>(8686)脫離死亡<04480><04194>。
Treasures<0214> of wickedness<07562> profit<03276>(8686) nothing: but righteousness<06666> delivereth<05337>(8686) from death<04194>.
10:3 耶和華<03068>不<03808>使義<06662>人<05315>受飢餓<07456>(8686)；惡人<07563>所欲的<01942>，他必推開<01920>(8799)。
The LORD<03068> will not suffer<07456><00> the soul<05315> of the righteous<06662> to famish<07456>(8686): but he casteth away<01920>(8799) the substance<01942> of the wicked<07563>. {the substance...: or, the wicked for their wickedness}

10:5 夏天<09002><07019>聚斂的<0103>(8802)，是智慧<07919>(8688)之子<01121>；收割時<09002><07105>沉睡的<07290>(8737)，是貽羞<0954>(8688)之子<01121>。
He that gathereth<0103>(8802) in summer<07019> is a wise<07919>(8688) son<01121>: but he that sleepeth<07290>(8737) in harvest<07105> is a son<01121> that causeth shame<0954>(8688).
10:6 福祉<01293>臨到義人<06662>的頭<09001><07218>；強暴<02555>蒙蔽<03680>(8762)惡人<07563>的口<06310>。
Blessings<01293> are upon the head<07218> of the just<06662>: but violence<02555> covereth<03680>(8762) the mouth<06310> of the wicked<07563>.
10:7 義人<06662>的紀念<02143>被稱讚<09001><01293>；惡人<07563>的名字<08034>必朽爛<07537>(8799)。
The memory<02143> of the just<06662> is blessed<01293>: but the name<08034> of the wicked<07563> shall rot<07537>(8799).
10:8 心中<03820>智慧的<02450>，必受<03947>(8799)命令<04687>；口裡<08193>愚妄的<0191>，必致傾倒<03832>(8735)。

10:10 以眼<05869>傳神的<07169>(8802)，使人<05414>(8799)憂患<06094>；口裡<08193>愚妄的<0191>，必致傾倒<03832>(8735)。

10:12 恨<08135>能挑啟<05782>(8787)爭端<04090>；愛<0160>能遮掩<03680>(8762){<05921>}一切<03605>過錯<06588>。
Hatred<08135> stirreth up<05782>(8787) strifes<04090>: but love<0160> covereth<03680>(8762) all sins<06588>.
10:13 明哲人<0995>(8737)嘴裡<09002><08193>有<04672>(8735)智慧<02451>；無<02638>知<03820>人背上受<09001><01460>刑杖<07626>。

10:14 智慧人<02450>積存<06845>(8799)知識<01847>；愚妄人<0191>的口<06310>速致<07138>敗壞<04288>。
Wise<02450> men lay up<06845>(8799) knowledge<01847>: but the mouth<06310> of the foolish<0191> is near<07138> destruction<04288>.
10:15 富戶<06223>的財物<01952>是他的堅<05797>城<07151>；窮人<01800>的貧乏<07389>是他的敗壞<04288>。
The rich man's<06223> wealth<01952> is his strong<05797> city<07151>: the destruction<04288> of the poor<01800> is their poverty<07389>.

10:20 義人<06662>的舌<03956>乃似高<0977>(8737)銀<03701>；惡人<07563>的心<03820>所值無幾<09003><04592>。
The tongue<03956> of the just<06662> is as choice<0977>(8737) silver<03701>: the heart<03820> of the wicked<07563> is little worth<04592>.
10:21 義人<06662>的口<08193>教養<07462>(8799)多人<07227>；愚昧人<0191>因無<09002><02638>知<03820>而死亡<04191>(8799)。

It is as sport<07814> to a fool<03684> to do<06213>(8800) mischief<02154>: but a man<0376> of understanding<08394> hath wisdom<02451>.
10:24 惡人<07563>所怕的<04034>，必<01931>臨到他<0935>(8799)；義人<06662>所願的<08378>，必蒙應允<05414>(8799)。
The fear<04034> of the wicked<07563>, it shall come<0935>(8799) upon him: but the desire<08378> of the righteous<06662> shall be granted<05414>(8799).
10:25 暴風<05492>一過<09003><05674>(8800)，惡人<07563>歸於無有<0369>；義人<06662>的根基<03247>卻是永久<05769>。
As the whirlwind<05492> passeth<05674>(8800), so is the wicked<07563> no more : but the righteous<06662> is an everlasting<05769> foundation<03247>.
10:26 {<03651>}懶惰人<06102>叫差他的人<09001><07971>(8802)如醋<09003><02558>倒牙<09001><08127>，如煙<09003><06227>薰目<09001><05869>。
As vinegar<02558> to the teeth<08127>, and as smoke<06227> to the eyes<05869>, so is the sluggard<06102> to them that send<07971>(8802) him.
10:27 敬畏<03374>耶和華<03068>使人日子<03117>加多<03254>(8686)；但惡人<07563>的年歲<08141>必被減少<07114>(8799)。
The fear<03374> of the LORD<03068> prolongeth<03254>(8686) days<03117>: but the years<08141> of the wicked<07563> shall be shortened<07114>(8799). {prolongeth: Heb. addeth}
10:28 義人<06662>的盼望<08431>必得喜樂<08057>；惡人<07563>的指望<08615>必致滅沒<06>(8799)。

The way<01870> of the LORD<03068> is strength<04581> to the upright<08537>: but destruction<04288> shall be to the workers<06466>(8802) of iniquity<0205>.
10:30 義人<06662>永<09001><05769>不<01077>挪移<04131>(8735)；惡人<07563>不得<03808>住在<07931>(8799)地上<0776>。
The righteous<06662> shall never<05769> be removed<04131>(8735): but the wicked<07563> shall not inhabit<07931>(8799) the earth<0776>.
10:31 義人<06662>的口<06310>滋生<05107>(8799)智慧<02451>；乖謬<08419>的舌<03956>必被割斷<03772>(8735)。
The mouth<06310> of the just<06662> bringeth forth<05107>(8799) wisdom<02451>: but the froward<08419> tongue<03956> shall be cut out<03772>(8735).
