My son<01121>, forget<07911>(8799) not my law<08451>; but let thine heart<03820> keep<05341>(8799) my commandments<04687>:
3:2 因為<03588>它必將長久<0753>的日子<03117>，生命<02416>的年數<08141>與平安<07965>，加<03254>(8686)給你<09001>。
For length<0753> of days<03117>, and long<08141> life<02416>, and peace<07965>, shall they add<03254>(8686) to thee. {long...: Heb. years of life}
3:3 不可<0408>使慈愛<02617>、誠實<0571>離開你<05800>(8799)，要繫<07194>(8798)在<05921>你頸項<01621>上，刻<03789>(8798)在<05921>你心<03820>版<03871>上。
Let not mercy<02617> and truth<0571> forsake<05800>(8799) thee: bind<07194>(8798) them about thy neck<01621>; write<03789>(8798) them upon the table<03871> of thine heart<03820>:
3:4 這樣，你必在神<0430>和世人<0120>眼前<09002><05869>蒙<04672>(8798)恩寵<02580>，有聰明<02896><07922>。
So shalt thou find<04672>(8798) favour<02580> and good<02896> understanding<07922> in the sight<05869> of God<0430> and man<0120>. {good...: or, good success}
3:5 你要專<09002><03605>心<03820>仰賴<0982>(8798){<0413>}耶和華<03068>，不可<0408>倚靠<08172>(8735){<0413>}自己的聰明<0998>，
Trust<0982>(8798) in the LORD<03068> with all thine heart<03820>; and lean<08172>(8735) not unto thine own understanding<0998>.
3:6 在你一切<09002><03605>所行的事上<01870>都要認定他<03045>(8798)，他<01931>必指引<03474>(8762)你的路<0734>。
In all thy ways<01870> acknowledge<03045>(8798) him, and he shall direct<03474>(8762) thy paths<0734>.
3:7 不要<0408>自以為<09002><05869>有<01961>智慧<02450>；要敬畏<03372>(8798){<0853>}耶和華<03068>，遠離<05493>(8798)惡事<04480><07451>。
Be not wise<02450> in thine own eyes<05869>: fear<03372>(8798) the LORD<03068>, and depart<05493>(8798) from evil<07451>.
3:8 這便<01961>醫治<07500>你的肚臍<09001><08270>，滋潤<08250>你的百骨<09001><06106>。
It shall be health<07500> to thy navel<08270>, and marrow<08250> to thy bones<06106>. {health: Heb. medicine} {marrow: Heb. watering, or, moistening}
3:9 你要以財物<04480><01952>和一切<03605>初熟的<04480><07225>土產<08393>尊榮<03513>(8761){<0853>}耶和華<03068>。
Honour<03513>(8761) the LORD<03068> with thy substance<01952>, and with the firstfruits<07225> of all thine increase<08393>:
3:10 這樣，你的倉房<0618>必充滿<04390>(8735)有餘<07647>；你的酒醡<03342>有新酒<08492>盈溢<06555>(8799)。
So shall thy barns<0618> be filled<04390>(8735) with plenty<07647>, and thy presses<03342> shall burst out<06555>(8799) with new wine<08492>.
3:11 我兒<01121>，你不可<0408>輕看<03988>(8799)耶和華<03068>的管教<04148>（或譯：懲治），也不可<0408>厭煩<06973>(8799)他的責備<09002><08433>；
My son<01121>, despise<03988>(8799) not the chastening<04148> of the LORD<03068>; neither be weary<06973>(8799) of his correction<08433>:
3:12 因為<03588>{<0853>}耶和華<03068>所<0834>愛的<0157>(8799)，他必責備<03198>(8686)，正如父親<09003><01>責備{<0853>}所喜愛的<07521>(8799)兒子<01121>。
For whom the LORD<03068> loveth<0157>(8799) he correcteth<03198>(8686); even as a father<01> the son<01121> in whom he delighteth<07521>(8799).
3:13 得<04672>(8804)智慧<02451>，得<06329>(8686)聰明<08394>的{<0120>}，這人<0120>便為有福<0835>。
Happy<0835> is the man<0120> that findeth<04672>(8804) wisdom<02451>, and the man<0120> that getteth<06329>(8686) understanding<08394>. {that getteth...: Heb. that draweth out understanding}
3:14 因為<03588>得<05504>智慧勝過<02896>得<04480><05505>銀子<03701>，其利益<08393>強如精金<04480><02742>，
For the merchandise<05504> of it is better<02896> than the merchandise<05505> of silver<03701>, and the gain<08393> thereof than fine gold<02742>.
3:15 {<01931>}比珍珠（或譯：紅寶石<04480><06443>）寶貴<03368>；你一切<03605>所喜愛的<02656>，都不足<03808>與<09002>比較<07737>(8799)。
She is more precious<03368> than rubies<06443>: and all the things thou canst desire<02656> are not to be compared<07737>(8799) unto her.
3:16 她右手<09002><03225>有長<0753>壽<03117>，左手<09002><08040>有富<06239>貴<03519>。
Length<0753> of days<03117> is in her right hand<03225>; and in her left hand<08040> riches<06239> and honour<03519>.
3:17 她的道<01870>是安樂<05278>{<01870>}；她的路<05410>全是<03605>平安<07965>。
Her ways<01870> are ways<01870> of pleasantness<05278>, and all her paths<05410> are peace<07965>.
3:18 她<01931>與持守<09001><02388>(8688)她的<09002>作生命<02416>樹<06086>；持定她<08551>(8802)的，俱各有福<0833>(8794)。
She is a tree<06086> of life<02416> to them that lay hold<02388>(8688) upon her: and happy<0833>(8794) is every one that retaineth<08551>(8802) her.
3:19 耶和華<03068>以智慧<09002><02451>立<03245>(8804)地<0776>，以聰明<09002><08394>定<03559>(8790)天<08064>，
The LORD<03068> by wisdom<02451> hath founded<03245>(8804) the earth<0776>; by understanding<08394> hath he established<03559>(8790) the heavens<08064>. {established: or, prepared}
3:20 以知識<09002><01847>使深淵<08415>裂開<01234>(8738)，使天空<07834>滴下<07491>(8799)甘露<02919>。
By his knowledge<01847> the depths<08415> are broken up<01234>(8738), and the clouds<07834> drop down<07491>(8799) the dew<02919>.
3:21 我兒<01121>，要謹守<05341>(8798)真智慧<08454>和謀略<04209>，不可<0408>使她離開<03868>(8799)你的眼目<04480><05869>。
My son<01121>, let not them depart<03868>(8799) from thine eyes<05869>: keep<05341>(8798) sound wisdom<08454> and discretion<04209>:
3:22 這樣，她必作<01961>你<09001><05315>的生命<02416>，頸項<09001><01621>的美飾<02580>。
So shall they be life<02416> unto thy soul<05315>, and grace<02580> to thy neck<01621>.
3:23 你就<0227>坦然<09001><0983>行<03212>(8799)路<01870>，不致<03808>碰<05062>(8799)腳<07272>。
Then shalt thou walk<03212>(8799) in thy way<01870> safely<0983>, and thy foot<07272> shall not stumble<05062>(8799).
3:24 {<0518>}你躺下<07901>(8799)，必不<03808>懼怕<06342>(8799)；你躺臥<07901>(8804)，睡得<08142>香甜<06149>(8804)。
When thou liest down<07901>(8799), thou shalt not be afraid<06342>(8799): yea, thou shalt lie down<07901>(8804), and thy sleep<08142> shall be sweet<06149>(8804).
3:25 忽然來的<06597>驚恐<04480><06343>，不要<0408>害怕<03372>(8799)；{<03588>}惡人<07563>遭<0935>(8799)毀滅<04480><07722>，也不要恐懼。
Be not afraid<03372>(8799) of sudden<06597> fear<06343>, neither of the desolation<07722> of the wicked<07563>, when it cometh<0935>(8799).
3:26 因為<03588>耶和華<03068>是<01961>你所倚靠的<09002><03689>；他必保守<08104>(8804)你的腳<07272>不陷入網羅<04480><03921>。
For the LORD<03068> shall be thy confidence<03689>, and shall keep<08104>(8804) thy foot<07272> from being taken<03921>.
3:27 你手<03027>若有<09002><01961>行善<02896>的力量<09001><0410>，不可<0408>推辭<04513>(8799)，就當向那應得的人<04480><01167>施行<09001><06213>(8800)。
Withhold<04513>(8799) not good<02896> from them to whom it is due<01167>, when it is in the power<0410> of thine hand<03027> to do<06213>(8800) it . {them...: Heb. the owners thereof}
3:28 你那裡<0854>若有<03426>現成的，不可<0408>對鄰舍<09001><07453>說<0559>(8799)：去吧<03212>(8798)，明天<04279>再來<07725>(8798)，我必給<05414>(8799)你。
Say<0559>(8799) not unto thy neighbour<07453>, Go<03212>(8798), and come again<07725>(8798), and to morrow<04279> I will give<05414>(8799); when thou hast<03426> it by thee.
3:29 你的鄰舍<07453>{<01931>}既在你附近<0854>安<09001><0983>居<03427>(8802)，你不可<0408>設計<02790>(8799)害<07451>他<05921>。
Devise<02790>(8799) not evil<07451> against thy neighbour<07453>, seeing he dwelleth<03427>(8802) securely<0983> by thee. {Devise...: or, Practise no evil}
3:30 人{<0518>}未曾<03808>加<01580><00>害<07451>與你<01580>(8804)，不可<0408>無故<02600>與<05973>他<0120>相爭<07378>(8799)。
Strive<07378>(8799) not with a man<0120> without cause<02600>, if he have done<01580>(8804) thee no harm<07451>.
3:31 不可<0408>嫉妒<07065>(8762)強暴的<02555>人<09002><0376>，也不可<0408>選擇<0977>(8799)他所行的<09002><03605>路<01870>。
Envy<07065>(8762) thou not the oppressor<0376><02555>, and choose<0977>(8799) none of his ways<01870>. {the oppressor: Heb. a man of violence}
3:32 因為<03588>，乖僻人<03868>(8737)為耶和華<03068>所憎惡<08441>；正直人<03477>為<0853>他所親密<05475>。
For the froward<03868>(8737) is abomination<08441> to the LORD<03068>: but his secret<05475> is with the righteous<03477>.
3:33 耶和華<03068>咒詛<03994>惡人<07563>的家庭<09002><01004>，賜福<01288>(8762)與義人<06662>的居所<05116>。
The curse<03994> of the LORD<03068> is in the house<01004> of the wicked<07563>: but he blesseth<01288>(8762) the habitation<05116> of the just<06662>.
3:34 他<01931>譏誚<03887>(8686){<0518>}那好譏誚的人<09001><03887>(8801)，賜<05414>(8799)恩<02580>給謙卑的人<09001><06035>(8675)<06041>。
Surely he scorneth<03887>(8686) the scorners<03887>(8801): but he giveth<05414>(8799) grace<02580> unto the lowly<06035>(8675)<06041>.
3:35 智慧人<02450>必承受<05157>(8799)尊榮<03519>；愚昧人<03684>高升<07311>(8688)也成為羞辱<07036>。
