2:1 {<03212>}{(8799)}有一個利未<03878>家<04480><01004>的人<0376>娶了<03947>(8799){<0853>}一個利未<03878>女子<01323>為妻。
And there went<03212>(8799) a man<0376> of the house<01004> of Levi<03878>, and took<03947>(8799) to wife a daughter<01323> of Levi<03878>.
2:2 那女人<0802>懷孕<02029>(8799)，生<03205>(8799)一個兒子<01121>，見<07200>(8799)他<0853>{<03588>}{<01931>}俊美<02896>，就藏了他<06845>(8799)三<07969>個月<03391>，
And the woman<0802> conceived<02029>(8799), and bare<03205>(8799) a son<01121>: and when she saw<07200>(8799) him that he was a goodly<02896> child , she hid<06845>(8799) him three<07969> months<03391>.
2:3 後來不<03808>能<03201>(8804)再<05750>藏<06845>(8687)，就取<03947>(8799)了{<09001>}一個蒲草<01573>箱<08392>，抹<02560>(8799)上石漆<09002><02564>和石油<09002><02203>，將<0853>孩子<03206>放<07760>(8799)在裡頭<09002>，把箱子擱<07760>(8799)在<05921>河<02975>邊<08193>的蘆荻中<09002><05488>。

2:4 孩子的姊姊<0269>遠遠<04480><07350>站著<03320>(8691)，要知道<09001><03045>(8800)他<09001>究竟怎麼<04100>樣<06213>(8735)。
And his sister<0269> stood<03320>(8691) afar off<07350>, to wit<03045>(8800) what would be done<06213>(8735) to him.
2:5 法老<06547>的女兒<01323>來<03381>(8799)到<05921>河<02975>邊洗澡<09001><07364>(8800)，她的使女們<05291>在河<02975>邊<03027>行走<01980>(8802)。她看見<07200>(8799){<0853>}箱子<08392>在<05921>蘆荻<05488>中<09002><08432>，就打發<07971>(8799){<0853>}一個婢女<0519>拿來<03947>(8799)。
And the daughter<01323> of Pharaoh<06547> came down<03381>(8799) to wash<07364>(8800) herself at the river<02975>; and her maidens<05291> walked<01980>(8802) along by the river's<02975> side<03027>; and when she saw<07200>(8799) the ark<08392> among<08432> the flags<05488>, she sent<07971>(8799) her maid<0519> to fetch<03947>(8799) it.
2:6 她打開<06605>(8799)箱子，看見<07200>(8799){<0853>}那孩子<03206>。{<02009>}孩子<05288>哭了<01058>(8802)，她就可憐<02550>(8799)他<05921>，說<0559>(8799)：「這是<02088>希伯來人<05680>的一個孩子<04480><03206>。」
And when she had opened<06605>(8799) it , she saw<07200>(8799) the child<03206>: and, behold, the babe<05288> wept<01058>(8802). And she had compassion<02550>(8799) on him, and said<0559>(8799), This is one of the Hebrews<05680>' children<03206>.
2:7 孩子的姊姊<0269>對<0413>法老<06547>的女兒<01323>說<0559>(8799)：「我去<03212>(8799)在<04480>希伯來<05680>婦人<0802>中叫<07121>(8804){<09001>}一個奶媽<03243>(8688)來，為你<09001>奶<03243>(8686){<0853>}這孩子<03206>，可以不可以？」
Then said<0559>(8799) his sister<0269> to Pharaoh's<06547> daughter<01323>, Shall I go<03212>(8799) and call<07121>(8804) to thee a nurse<03243>(8688) of the Hebrew<05680> women<0802>, that she may nurse<03243>(8686) the child<03206> for thee?
2:8 法老<06547>的女兒<01323>說<0559>(8799){<09001>}：「可以<03212>(8798)。」童女<05959>就去<03212>(8799)叫了<07121>(8799){<0853>}孩子<03206>的母親<0517>來。
And Pharaoh's<06547> daughter<01323> said<0559>(8799) to her, Go<03212>(8798). And the maid<05959> went<03212>(8799) and called<07121>(8799) the child's<03206> mother<0517>.
2:9 法老<06547>的女兒<01323>對她<09001>說<0559>(8799)：「你把<0853>這<02088>孩子<03206>抱去<03212>(8685)，為我<09001>奶他<03243>(8685)，我必<0589>給<05414>(8799)你{<0853>}工價<07939>。」婦人<0802>就抱了<03947>(8799)孩子<03206>去奶他<05134>(8686)。
And Pharaoh's<06547> daughter<01323> said<0559>(8799) unto her, Take<03212><00> this child<03206> away<03212>(8685), and nurse<03243>(8685) it for me, and I will give<05414>(8799) thee thy wages<07939>. And the woman<0802> took<03947>(8799) the child<03206>, and nursed<05134>(8686) it.
2:10 孩子<03206>漸長<01431>(8799)，婦人把他帶<0935>(8686)到法老<06547>的女兒<09001><01323>那裡，就作了<01961>(8799)她的<09001>兒子<01121>。她給孩子起名<08034>叫<07121>(8799)摩西<04872>，意思說<0559>(8799)：「因<03588>我把他從<04480>水<04325>裡拉出來<04871>(8804)。」
And the child<03206> grew<01431>(8799), and she brought<0935>(8686) him unto Pharaoh's<06547> daughter<01323>, and he became her son<01121>. And she called<07121>(8799) his name<08034> Moses<04872>: and she said<0559>(8799), Because I drew<04871>(8804) him out of the water<04325>. {Moses: that is, Drawn out}

And it came to pass in those days<03117>, when Moses<04872> was grown<01431>(8799), that he went out<03318>(8799) unto his brethren<0251>, and looked<07200>(8799) on their burdens<05450>: and he spied<07200>(8799) an Egyptian<04713><0376> smiting<05221>(8688) an Hebrew<05680>, one of his brethren<0251>.
2:12 他左<03541>右<03541>觀看<06437>(8799)，見<07200>(8799){<03588>}沒有<0369>人<0376>，就把<0853>埃及人<04713>打死<05221>(8686)了，藏<02934>(8799)在沙土裡<09002><02344>。
And he looked<06437>(8799) this way<03541> and that way<03541>, and when he saw<07200>(8799) that there was no man<0376>, he slew<05221>(8686) the Egyptian<04713>, and hid<02934>(8799) him in the sand<02344>.
2:13 第二<08145>天<09002><03117>他出去<03318>(8799)，見<02009>有兩<08147>個希伯來<05680>人<0582>爭鬥<05327>(8737)，就對那欺負人的<09001><07563>說<0559>(8799)：「你為甚麼<09001><04100>打<05221>(8686)你同族的人<07453>呢？」
And when he went out<03318>(8799) the second<08145> day<03117>, behold, two<08147> men<0582> of the Hebrews<05680> strove<05327>(8737) together: and he said<0559>(8799) to him that did the wrong<07563>, Wherefore smitest<05221>(8686) thou thy fellow<07453>?
2:14 那人說<0559>(8799)：「誰<04310>立你<07760>(8804)作{<09001>}{<0376>}我們的<05921>首領<08269>和審判官<08199>(8802)呢？難道你<0859>要<0559>(8802)殺我<09001><02026>(8800)，像<09003><0834>殺<02026>(8804)那<0853>埃及人<04713>嗎？」摩西<04872>便懼怕<03372>(8799)，說<0559>(8799)：「這事<01697>必是<0403>被人知道<03045>(8738)了。」
And he said<0559>(8799), Who made<07760>(8804) thee<0376> a prince<08269> and a judge<08199>(8802) over us? intendest<0559>(8802) thou to kill<02026>(8800) me, as thou killedst<02026>(8804) the Egyptian<04713>? And Moses<04872> feared<03372>(8799), and said<0559>(8799), Surely<0403> this thing<01697> is known<03045>(8738). {a prince: Heb. a man, a prince}
2:15 法老<06547>聽見<08085>(8799){<0853>}這<02088>事<01697>，就想<01245>(8762)殺<09001><02026>(8800){<0853>}摩西<04872>，但摩西<04872>躲避<01272>(8799){<04480>}{<06440>}法老<06547>，逃往米甸<04080>地<09002><0776>居住<03427>(8799)。
Now when Pharaoh<06547> heard<08085>(8799) this thing<01697>, he sought<01245>(8762) to slay<02026>(8800) Moses<04872>. But Moses<04872> fled<01272>(8799) from the face<06440> of Pharaoh<06547>, and dwelt<03427>(8799) in the land<0776> of Midian<04080>: and he sat down<03427>(8799) by a well<0875>.

Now the priest<03548> of Midian<04080> had seven<07651> daughters<01323>: and they came<0935>(8799) and drew<01802>(8799) water , and filled<04390>(8762) the troughs<07298> to water<08248>(8687) their father's<01> flock<06629>. {priest: or, prince}
2:17 有牧羊的人<07462>(8802)來<0935>(8799)，把她們趕走<01644>(8762)了，摩西<04872>卻起來<06965>(8799)幫助她們<03467>(8686)，又飲<08248>(8686)了{<0853>}她們的群羊<06629>。
And the shepherds<07462>(8802) came<0935>(8799) and drove them away<01644>(8762): but Moses<04872> stood up<06965>(8799) and helped<03467>(8686) them, and watered<08248>(8686) their flock<06629>.
2:18 她們來<0935>(8799)到<0413>父親<01>流珥<07467>那裡；他說<0559>(8799)：「今日<03117>你們為何<04069>來<0935>(8800)得這麼快<04116>(8765)呢？」
And when they came<0935>(8799) to Reuel<07467> their father<01>, he said<0559>(8799), How<04069> is it that ye are come<0935>(8800) so soon<04116>(8765) to day<03117>? {Reuel: called also Jethro, or, Jether}
2:19 她們說<0559>(8799)：「有一個<0376>埃及人<04713>救我們<05337>(8689)脫離牧羊人<07462>(8802)的手<04480><03027>，並且<01571>為我們<09001>打<01802>(8800)水<01802>(8804)飲<08248>(8686)了{<0853>}群羊<06629>。」
And they said<0559>(8799), An Egyptian<04713><0376> delivered<05337>(8689) us out of the hand<03027> of the shepherds<07462>(8802), and also drew<01802>(8804) water enough<01802>(8800) for us, and watered<08248>(8686) the flock<06629>.
2:20 他對<0413>女兒們<01323>說<0559>(8799)：「那個<02088>人在哪裡<0346>？你們為甚麼<09001><04100>撇下<05800>(8804){<0853>}他<0376>呢？你們去請<07121>(8798)他<09001>來吃<0398>(8799)飯<03899>。」
And he said<0559>(8799) unto his daughters<01323>, And where is he? why is it that ye have left<05800>(8804) the man<0376>? call<07121>(8798) him, that he may eat<0398>(8799) bread<03899>.
2:21 摩西<04872>甘心<02974>(8686)和<0854>那人<0376>同住<09001><03427>(8800)；那人把<0853>他的女兒<01323>西坡拉<06855>給<05414>(8799)摩西<09001><04872>為妻。
And Moses<04872> was content<02974>(8686) to dwell<03427>(8800) with the man<0376>: and he gave<05414>(8799) Moses<04872> Zipporah<06855> his daughter<01323>.
2:22 西坡拉生了<03205>(8799)一個兒子<01121>，摩西給他<0853>起名<08034>叫<07121>(8799)革舜<01647>，意思說<0559>(8804)：「因<03588>我在<09002><0776>外邦<05237>作了<01961>(8804)寄居的<01616>。」
And she bare<03205>(8799) him a son<01121>, and he called<07121>(8799) his name<08034> Gershom<01647>: for he said<0559>(8804), I have been a stranger<01616> in a strange<05237> land<0776>. {Gershom: that is, A stranger here}
2:23 過了<01961>(8799){<01992>}多<07227>年<09002><03117>，埃及<04714>王<04428>死了<04191>(8799)。以色列<03478>人<01121>因<04480>做苦工<05656>，就歎息<0584>(8735)哀求<02199>(8799)，他們的哀聲<07775>達<05927>(8799)於<0413>上帝<0430>{<04480>}{<05656>}。
And it came to pass in process<01992><07227> of time<03117>, that the king<04428> of Egypt<04714> died<04191>(8799): and the children<01121> of Israel<03478> sighed<0584>(8735) by reason of<04480> the bondage<05656>, and they cried<02199>(8799), and their cry<07775> came up<05927>(8799) unto God<0430> by reason of the bondage<05656>.
2:24 上帝<0430>聽見<08085>(8799){<0853>}他們的哀聲<05009>，{<0430>}就記念<02142>(8799){<0853>}他與<0854>亞伯拉罕<085>、{<0854>}以撒<03327>、{<0854>}雅各<03290>所立的約<01285>。
And God<0430> heard<08085>(8799) their groaning<05009>, and God<0430> remembered<02142>(8799) his covenant<01285> with Abraham<085>, with Isaac<03327>, and with Jacob<03290>.
2:25 上帝<0430>看顧<07200>(8799){<0853>}以色列<03478>人<01121>，{<0430>}也知道<03045>(8799)他們的苦情。
