4:1(大衛的詩,交與伶長。用絲弦的樂器。)顯我為義的 神啊,我呼籲的時候,求你應允我!我在困苦中,你曾使我寬廣;現在求你憐恤我,聽我的禱告!To the chief Musician on Neginoth, A Psalm of David. Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness: thou hast enlarged me when I was in distress; have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer. <To the chief music-maker on corded instruments. A Psalm. Of David.> Give answer to my cry, O God of my righteousness; make me free from my troubles; have mercy on me, and give ear to my prayer.(大衛之詩使伶長鼓琴歌之○)義我之上帝歟、我呼吁時、求爾俞允、我窘迫時、蒙爾寬舒、尚其矜恤、俯聞我祈兮、Answer me when I call, God of my righteousness. 4:2你們這上流人哪,你們將我的尊榮變為羞辱要到幾時呢?你們喜愛虛妄,尋找虛假,要到幾時呢?(細拉)O ye sons of men, how long will ye turn my glory into shame? how long will ye love vanity, and seek after leasing? Selah.O you sons of men, how long will you go on turning my glory into shame? how long will you give your love to foolish things, going after what is false? 4:3你們要知道,耶和華已經分別虔誠人歸他自己;我求告耶和華,他必聽我。But know that the LORD hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the LORD will hear when I call unto him.See how the Lord has made great his mercy for me; the Lord will give ear to my cry.須知敬虔者、為耶和華所區別、我呼吁耶和華、彼必垂聽兮、But know that Yahweh has set apart for himself him who is godly: Yahweh will hear when I call to him. 4:4你們應當畏懼,不可犯罪;在床上的時候,要心裡思想,並要肅靜。(細拉)Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah.Let there be fear in your hearts, and do no sin; have bitter feelings on your bed, but make no sound. (Selah.)宜恐懼、勿干罪、自思于床、而緘默兮、Stand in awe, and don't sin. 4:6有許多人說:誰能指示我們甚麼好處?耶和華啊,求你仰起臉來,光照我們。 There be many that say, Who will shew us any good? LORD, lift thou up the light of thy countenance upon us.There are numbers who say, Who will do us any good? the light of his face has gone from us.多曰有誰福我、耶和華歟、以爾容光照予兮、Many say, "Who will show us any good?" 4:7你使我心裡快樂,勝過那豐收五穀新酒的人。Thou hast put gladness in my heart, more than in the time that their corn and their wine increased.Lord, you have put joy in my heart, more than they have when their grain and their wine are increased.爾加喜樂于我心、勝于彼之谷酒豐盛兮、You have put gladness in my heart, More than when their grain and their new wine are increased.
