42:1 約伯<0347>回答<06030>(8799){<0853>}耶和華<03068>說<0559>(8799)：
Then Job<0347> answered<06030>(8799) the LORD<03068>, and said<0559>(8799),
42:2 我知道<03045>(8804)，{<03588>}你萬事都<03605>能做<03201>(8799)；你的<04480>旨意<04209>不能<03808>攔阻<01219>(8735)。
I know<03045>(8804) that thou canst do<03201>(8799) every thing , and that no thought<04209> can be withholden<01219>(8735) from thee. {no thought can be...: or, no thought of thine can be hindered}
42:3 誰<04310><02088>用無<01097>知<01847>的言語使你的旨意<06098>隱藏<05956>(8688)呢？{<09001>}{<03651>}我所說的<05046>(8689)是我不<03808>明白<0995>(8799)的；這些事太<04480>奇妙<06381>(8737)，是我不<03808>知道<03045>(8799)的。
Who is he that hideth<05956>(8688) counsel<06098> without knowledge<01847>? therefore have I uttered<05046>(8689) that I understood<0995>(8799) not; things too wonderful<06381>(8737) for me, which I knew<03045>(8799) not.
42:4 求<04994>你聽<08085>(8798)我，我<0595>要說話<01696>(8762)；我問你<07592>(8799)，求你指示我<03045>(8685)。
Hear<08085>(8798), I beseech thee, and I will speak<01696>(8762): I will demand<07592>(8799) of thee, and declare<03045>(8685) thou unto me.
42:5 我<0241>從前風聞<09001><08085>(8804)<08088>有你，現在<06258>親眼<05869>看見你<07200>(8804)。
I have heard<08085>(8804) of thee by the hearing<08088> of the ear<0241>: but now mine eye<05869> seeth<07200>(8804) thee.
42:6 因此<05921><03651>我厭惡<03988>(8799)自己（或譯：我的言語），在<05921>塵土<06083>和爐灰<0665>中懊悔<05162>(8738)。
Wherefore I abhor<03988>(8799) myself , and repent<05162>(8738) in dust<06083> and ashes<0665>.
42:7 {<01961>}耶和華<03068>對<0413>約伯<0347>說<01696>(8765){<0853>}話<01697>{<0428>}以後<0310>，{<03068>}就對<0413>提幔人<08489>以利法<0464>說<0559>(8799)：「我的怒氣<0639>向你<09002>和你兩個<09002><08147>朋友<07453>發作<02734>(8804)，因為<03588>你們議論<01696>(8765)我<0413>不<03808>如我的僕人<09003><05650>約伯<0347>說的是<03559>(8737)。
And it was so , that after<0310> the LORD<03068> had spoken<01696>(8765) these words<01697> unto Job<0347>, the LORD<03068> said<0559>(8799) to Eliphaz<0464> the Temanite<08489>, My wrath<0639> is kindled<02734>(8804) against thee, and against thy two<08147> friends<07453>: for ye have not spoken<01696>(8765) of me the thing that is right<03559>(8737), as my servant<05650> Job<0347> hath .
42:8 現在<06258>你們要取<03947>(8798){<09001>}七隻<07651>公牛<06499>，七隻<07651>公羊<0352>，到<0413>我僕人<05650>約伯<0347>那裡去<03212>(8798)，為<01157>自己獻上<05927>(8689)燔祭<05930>，我的僕人<05650>約伯<0347>就為你們<05921>祈禱<06419>(8691)。我因<03588><0518>悅納<05375>(8799)他<06440>，就不<09001><01115>按你們<05973>的愚妄<05039>辦<06213>(8800)你們。{<03588>}你們議論<01696>(8765)我<0413>，不<03808>如我的僕人<09003><05650>約伯<0347>說的是<03559>(8737)。」
Therefore take<03947>(8798) unto you now seven<07651> bullocks<06499> and seven<07651> rams<0352>, and go<03212>(8798) to my servant<05650> Job<0347>, and offer up<05927>(8689) for yourselves a burnt offering<05930>; and my servant<05650> Job<0347> shall pray<06419>(8691) for you: for him<06440> will I accept<05375>(8799): lest I deal<06213>(8800) with you after your folly<05039>, in that ye have not spoken<01696>(8765) of me the thing which is right<03559>(8737), like my servant<05650> Job<0347>. {him: Heb. his face, or, person}
42:9 於是提幔人<08489>以利法<0464>、書亞人<07747>比勒達<01085>、拿瑪人<05284>瑣法<06691>照著耶和華<03068>所<09003><0834>吩咐<01696>(8765)的{<0413>}去<03212>(8799)行<06213>(8799)；耶和華<03068>就悅納<05375>(8799){<0853>}{<06440>}約伯<0347>。
So Eliphaz<0464> the Temanite<08489> and Bildad<01085> the Shuhite<07747> and Zophar<06691> the Naamathite<05284> went<03212>(8799), and did<06213>(8799) according as the LORD<03068> commanded<01696>(8765) them: the LORD<03068> also accepted<05375>(8799) Job<06440><0347>. {Job: Heb. the face of Job}
42:10 約伯為<01157>他的朋友<07453>祈禱<09002><06419>(8692)。耶和華<03068>就使<0853>約伯<0347>從苦境（原文是擄掠<07622>(8675)<07622>）轉回<07725>(8804)，並且耶和華<03068>賜<03254>(8686)給他<09001><0347>的{<0853>}比他從前所有的<03605><0834>加倍<09001><04932>。
And the LORD<03068> turned<07725>(8804) the captivity<07622>(8675)<07622> of Job<0347>, when he prayed<06419>(8692) for his friends<07453>: also the LORD<03068> gave<03254>(8686) Job<0347> twice as much<04932> as he had before. {gave...: Heb. added all that had been to Job unto the double}
42:11 約伯的{<03605>}弟兄<0251>、{<03605>}姊妹<0269>，和<03605>以先<09001><06440>所認識的人<03045>(8802)都來<0935>(8799)見他<0413>，在他家裡<09002><01004>一同<05973>吃<0398>(8799)飯<03899>；又論到<05921>耶和華<03068>所<0834>降<0935>(8689)與他<05921>的一切<03605>災禍<07451>，都為他<09001>悲傷<05110>(8799)安慰<05162>(8762)他<0853>。每人<0376>也送<05414>(8799)他<09001>一塊<0259>銀子<07192>和一個<0376>金<02091>環<05141>。
Then came<0935>(8799) there unto him all his brethren<0251>, and all his sisters<0269>, and all they that had been of his acquaintance<03045>(8802) before<06440>, and did eat<0398>(8799) bread<03899> with him in his house<01004>: and they bemoaned<05110>(8799) him, and comforted<05162>(8762) him over all the evil<07451> that the LORD<03068> had brought<0935>(8689) upon him: every man<0376> also gave<05414>(8799) him a<0259> piece of money<07192>, and every one<0376> an earring<05141> of gold<02091>.
42:12 這樣，耶和華<03068>後來<0319>賜福<01288>(8765)給<0853>約伯<0347>比先前<04480><07225>更多。他<09001>有<01961>一萬四千<0702><06240><0505>羊<06629>，六<08337>千<0505>駱駝<01581>，一千<0505>對<06776>牛<01241>，一千<0505>母驢<0860>。
So the LORD<03068> blessed<01288>(8765) the latter end<0319> of Job<0347> more than his beginning<07225>: for he had fourteen<0702><06240> thousand<0505> sheep<06629>, and six<08337> thousand<0505> camels<01581>, and a thousand<0505> yoke<06776> of oxen<01241>, and a thousand<0505> she asses<0860>.
42:13 他<09001>也有<01961>七個<07658>兒子<01121>，三個<07969>女兒<01323>。
He had also seven<07658> sons<01121> and three<07969> daughters<01323>.
42:14 他給長<0259>女起<07121>(8799)名<08034>叫耶米瑪<03224>，次<08145>女叫{<08034>}基洗亞<07103>，三<07992>女叫{<08034>}基連‧哈樸<07163>。
And he called<07121>(8799) the name<08034> of the first<0259>, Jemima<03224>; and the name<08034> of the second<08145>, Kezia<07103>; and the name<08034> of the third<07992>, Kerenhappuch<07163>.
42:15 在那全<09002><03605>地<0776>的婦女<0802>中找<04672>(8738)不著<03808>像約伯<0347>的女兒<09003><01323>那樣美貌<03303>。她們的父親<01>使她們<09001>在弟兄<0251>中<09002><08432>得<05414>(8799)產業<05159>。
And in all the land<0776> were no women<0802> found<04672>(8738) so fair<03303> as the daughters<01323> of Job<0347>: and their father<01> gave<05414>(8799) them inheritance<05159> among<08432> their brethren<0251>.
42:16 此<02063>後<0310>，約伯<0347>又活了<02421>(8799)一百<03967>四十<0705>年<08141>，得見<07200>(8799){<0853>}他的兒<01121>{<0853>}孫<01121><01121>，直到四<0702>代<01755>。
After<0310> this lived<02421>(8799) Job<0347> an hundred<03967> and forty<0705> years<08141>, and saw<07200>(8799) his sons<01121>, and his sons<01121>' sons<01121>, even four<0702> generations<01755>.
42:17 這樣，約伯<0347>年紀老邁<02205>，日子<03117>滿足<07649>而死<04191>(8799)。
So Job<0347> died<04191>(8799), being old<02205> and full<07649> of days<03117>.
