36:1 以利戶<0453>又接著<03254>(8686)說<0559>(8799)：
Elihu<0453> also proceeded<03254>(8686), and said<0559>(8799),
36:2 你再容<03803>(8761)我<09001>片時<02191>，我就指示你<02331>(8762)，因<03588>我還<05750>有話為神<09001><0433>說<04405>。
Suffer<03803>(8761) me a little<02191>, and I will shew<02331>(8762) thee that I have yet to speak<04405> on God's<0433> behalf. {I have...: Heb. there are yet words for God}
36:3 我要將所知道的<01843>從遠處<09001><04480><07350>引來<05375>(8799)，將公義<06664>歸給<05414>(8799)造我的<09001><06466>(8802)主。
I will fetch<05375>(8799) my knowledge<01843> from afar<07350>, and will ascribe<05414>(8799) righteousness<06664> to my Maker<06466>(8802).
36:4 {<03588>}我的言語<04405>真<0551>不<03808>虛謊<08267>；有知識<01844>全備的<08549>與你同在<05973>。
For truly<0551> my words<04405> shall not be false<08267>: he that is perfect<08549> in knowledge<01844> is with thee.
36:5 {<02005>}神<0410>有大能<03524>，並不<03808>藐視<03988>(8799)人；他的智慧<03820>甚<03581>廣<03524>。
Behold, God<0410> is mighty<03524>, and despiseth<03988>(8799) not any: he is mighty<03524> in strength<03581> and wisdom<03820>. {wisdom: Heb. heart}
36:6 他不<03808>保護惡人<07563>的性命<02421>(8762)，卻為困苦人<06041>伸<05414>(8799)冤<04941>。
He preserveth not the life<02421>(8762) of the wicked<07563>: but giveth<05414>(8799) right<04941> to the poor<06041>. {poor: or, afflicted}
36:7 他時常{<03808>}{<01639>}{(8799)}看顧<05869>義人<04480><06662>，使他們和<0854>君王<04428>同坐<03427>(8686)寶座<09001><03678>，永遠<09001><05331>要被高舉<01361>(8799)。
He withdraweth<01639>(8799) not his eyes<05869> from the righteous<06662>: but with kings<04428> are they on the throne<03678>; yea, he doth establish<03427>(8686) them for ever<05331>, and they are exalted<01361>(8799).
36:8 他們若<0518>被鎖鍊<09002><02131>捆住<0631>(8803)，被苦難的<06040>繩索<09002><02256>纏住<03920>(8735)，
And if they be bound<0631>(8803) in fetters<02131>, and be holden<03920>(8735) in cords<02256> of affliction<06040>;
36:9 他就把他們的作為<06467>和過犯<06588>指示<05046>(8686)他們<09001>，叫<03588>他們知道有驕傲的行動<01396>(8691)。
Then he sheweth<05046>(8686) them their work<06467>, and their transgressions<06588> that they have exceeded<01396>(8691).
36:10 他也開通<01540>(8799)他們的耳朵<0241>得受教訓<09001><04148>，吩咐<0559>(8799){<03588>}他們離開罪孽<04480><0205>轉回<07725>(8799)。
He openeth<01540>(8799) also their ear<0241> to discipline<04148>, and commandeth<0559>(8799) that they return<07725>(8799) from iniquity<0205>.
36:11 他們若<0518>聽從<08085>(8799)事奉他<05647>(8799)，就必度<03615>(8762)日<03117>亨通<09002><02896>，歷年<08141>福樂<09002><05273>；
If they obey<08085>(8799) and serve<05647>(8799) him , they shall spend<03615>(8762) their days<03117> in prosperity<02896>, and their years<08141> in pleasures<05273>.
36:12 若<0518>不<03808>聽從<08085>(8799)，就要被刀<09002><07973>殺滅<05674>(8799)，無<09003><01097>知無識<01847>而死<01478>(8799)。
But if they obey<08085>(8799) not, they shall perish<05674>(8799) by the sword<07973>, and they shall die<01478>(8799) without knowledge<01847>. {perish: Heb. pass away}
36:13 那心中<03820>不敬虔的人<02611>積蓄<07760>(8799)怒氣<0639>；{<03588>}神捆綁他們<0631>(8804)，他們竟不<03808>求救<07768>(8762)；
But the hypocrites<02611> in heart<03820> heap up<07760>(8799) wrath<0639>: they cry<07768>(8762) not when he bindeth<0631>(8804) them.
36:14 {<05315>}必在青年時<09002><05290>死亡<04191>(8799)，與污穢人<09002><06945>一樣喪命<02416>。
They<05315> die<04191>(8799) in youth<05290>, and their life<02416> is among the unclean<06945>. {They...: Heb. Their soul dieth} {unclean: or, sodomites}
36:15 神藉著困苦<09002><06040>救拔<02502>(8762)困苦人<06041>，趁他們受欺壓<09002><03906>開通<01540>(8799)他們的耳朵<0241>。
He delivereth<02502>(8762) the poor<06041> in his affliction<06040>, and openeth<01540>(8799) their ears<0241> in oppression<03906>. {poor: or, afflicted}
36:16 神也必<0637>引你<05496>(8689)出離<04480><06310>患難<06862>，進入寬闊<07338>不<03808>狹窄<04164>之地<08478>；擺在<05183>你席上<07979>的必滿有<04390>(8804)肥甘<01880>。
Even so would he have removed<05496>(8689) thee out of the strait<06310><06862> into a broad place<07338>, where<08478> there is no straitness<04164>; and that which should be set<05183> on thy table<07979> should be full<04390>(8804) of fatness<01880>. {that...: Heb. the rest of thy table}
36:17 但你滿口有<04390>(8804)惡人<07563>批評的<01779>言語；判斷<01779>和刑罰<04941>抓住<08551>(8799)你。
But thou hast fulfilled<04390>(8804) the judgment<01779> of the wicked<07563>: judgment<01779> and justice<04941> take hold<08551>(8799) on thee . {take...: or, should uphold thee}
36:18 不可<06435>容<03588>忿怒<02534>觸動你，使你不服<05496>(8686)責罰<09002><05607>；也不可<0408>因贖價<03724>大<07230>就偏行<05186>(8686)。
Because there is wrath<02534>, beware lest he take thee away<05496>(8686) with his stroke<05607>: then a great<07230> ransom<03724> cannot deliver<05186>(8686) thee. {deliver...: Heb. turn thee aside}
36:19 你的呼求（或譯：資財<01222>），或是你一切的<03605>勢力<03981><03581>，果有靈驗<06186>(8799)，叫你不<03808>受患難<07769>嗎？
Will he esteem<06186>(8799) thy riches<07769>? no , not gold<01222>, nor all the forces<03981> of strength<03581>.
36:20 不要<0408>切慕<07602>(8799)黑夜<03915>，就是眾民<05971>在本處<08478>被除滅<09001><05927>(8800)的時候。
Desire<07602>(8799) not the night<03915>, when people<05971> are cut off<05927>(8800) in their place.
36:21 你要謹慎<08104>(8734)，不可<0408>重看<06437>(8799){<0413>}罪孽<0205>，因<03588>你選擇<0977>(8804){<05921>}罪孽{<02088>}過於選擇苦難<04480><06040>。
Take heed<08104>(8734), regard<06437>(8799) not iniquity<0205>: for this hast thou chosen<0977>(8804) rather than affliction<06040>.
36:22 {<02005>}神<0410>行事有高大的<07682>(8686)能力<09002><03581>；教訓<03384>(8688)人的有誰<04310>像他<03644>呢？
Behold, God<0410> exalteth<07682>(8686) by his power<03581>: who teacheth<03384>(8688) like him?
36:23 誰<04310>派定<06485>(8804)他<05921>的道路<01870>？誰<04310>能說<0559>(8804)：你所行的<06466>(8804)不義<05766>？
Who hath enjoined<06485>(8804) him his way<01870>? or who can say<0559>(8804), Thou hast wrought<06466>(8804) iniquity<05766>?
36:24 你不可忘記<02142>(8798){<03588>}稱讚他所行的<06467>為大<07679>(8686)，就是<0834>人<0582>所歌頌<07891>(8790)的。
Remember<02142>(8798) that thou magnify<07679>(8686) his work<06467>, which men<0582> behold<07891>(8790).
36:25 他所行的<09002>，萬<03605>人<0120>都看見<02372>(8804)；世人<0582>也從遠處<04480><07350>觀看<05027>(8686)。
Every man<0120> may see<02372>(8804) it; man<0582> may behold<05027>(8686) it afar off<07350>.
36:26 {<02005>}神<0410>為大<07689>，我們不能<03808>全知<03045>(8799)；他的年<08141>數<04557>不能<03808>測度<02714>。
Behold, God<0410> is great<07689>, and we know<03045>(8799) him not, neither can the number<04557> of his years<08141> be searched out<02714>.
36:27 {<03588>}他吸取<01639>(8762)水<04325>點<05198>，這水點從雲霧<09001><0108>中就變成<02212>(8799)雨<04306>；
For he maketh small<01639>(8762) the drops<05198> of water<04325>: they pour down<02212>(8799) rain<04306> according to the vapour<0108> thereof:
36:28 雲彩<07834>將雨<0834>落下<05140>(8799)，沛然<07227>降<07491>(8799)與<05921>世人<0120>。
Which the clouds<07834> do drop<05140>(8799) and distil<07491>(8799) upon man<0120> abundantly<07227>.
36:29 誰能<0637><0518>明白<0995>(8799)雲彩<05645>如何鋪張<04666>，和神行宮<05521>的雷聲<08663>呢？
Also can any understand<0995>(8799) the spreadings<04666> of the clouds<05645>, or the noise<08663> of his tabernacle<05521>?
36:30 {<02005>}他將亮光<0216>普照<06566>(8804)在自己的四圍<05921>；他又遮覆<03680>(8765)海<03220>底<08328>。
Behold, he spreadeth<06566>(8804) his light<0216> upon it, and covereth<03680>(8765) the bottom<08328> of the sea<03220>. {bottom: Heb. roots}
36:31 {<03588>}他用這些<09002>審判<01777>(8799)眾民<05971>，且賜<05414>(8799)豐富的<09001><04342>(8688)糧食<0400>。
For by them judgeth<01777>(8799) he the people<05971>; he giveth<05414>(8799) meat<0400> in abundance<04342>(8688).
36:32 他以<05921>電光<0216>遮<03680>(8765)手<03709>，命<06680>(8762)閃電<05921>擊中<09002><06293>(8688)敵人（或譯：中了靶子）。
With clouds<03709> he covereth<03680>(8765) the light<0216>; and commandeth<06680>(8762) it not to shine by the cloud that cometh betwixt<06293>(8688).
36:33 所發的雷聲<07452>顯明<05046>(8686)他<05921>的作為，又<0637>向牲畜<04735>指明<05921>要起暴風<05927>(8802)。
