32 於是這<0428>三個<07969>人<0582>，因<03588>約伯<01931>自以為<09002><05869>義<06662>就不再<07673>(8799)回答<04480><06030>(8800){<0853>}他<0347>。
So these three<07969> men<0582> ceased<07673>(8799) to answer<06030>(8800) Job<0347>, because he was righteous<06662> in his own eyes<05869>. {to...: Heb. from answering}
2 {<02734>}{(8804)}{<0639>}那時有布西人<0940>蘭<07410>族<04480><04940>巴拉迦<01292>的兒子<01121>以利戶<0453>向約伯<09002><0347>發<02734>(8799)怒<0639>；因<05921>約伯自<05315>以為義<06663>(8763)，不以　神<04480><0430>為義。
Then was kindled<02734>(8799) the wrath<0639> of Elihu<0453> the son<01121> of Barachel<01292> the Buzite<0940>, of the kindred<04940> of Ram<07410>: against Job<0347> was his wrath<0639> kindled<02734>(8804), because he justified<06663>(8763) himself<05315> rather than God<0430>. {himself: Heb. his soul}
3 他又向約伯的三個<09002><07969>朋友<07453>發<02734>(8804)怒<0639>；因為<05921><0834>他們想<04672>(8804)不<03808>出回答<04617>的話來，仍以<0853>約伯<0347>為有罪<07561>(8686)。
Also against his three<07969> friends<07453> was his wrath<0639> kindled<02734>(8804), because they had found<04672>(8804) no answer<04617>, and yet had condemned<07561>(8686) Job<0347>.
4 以利戶<0453>要與<0853>約伯<0347>說話<09002><01697>，就等候<02442>(8765)他們，因為<03588>他們<01992>比自己<04480>年<09001><03117>老<02205>。
Now Elihu<0453> had waited<02442>(8765) till Job<0347> had spoken<01697>, because they were elder<02205><03117> than he. {waited...: Heb. expected Job in words} {elder: Heb. elder for days}
5 以利戶<0453>見<07200>(8799){<03588>}這三個<07969>人<0582>口中<09002><06310>無<0369>話回答<04617>，就怒氣<0639>發作<02734>(8799)。
When Elihu<0453> saw<07200>(8799) that there was no answer<04617> in the mouth<06310> of these three<07969> men<0582>, then his wrath<0639> was kindled<02734>(8799).
6 布西人<0940>巴拉迦<01292>的兒子<01121>以利戶<0453>回答<06030>(8799)說<0559>(8799)：我<0589>年<09001><03117>輕<06810>，你們<0859>老邁<03453>；因此<05921><03651>我退讓<02119>(8804)，不敢<03372>(8799)向你們<0853>陳說<04480><02331>(8763)我的意見<01843>。
And Elihu<0453> the son<01121> of Barachel<01292> the Buzite<0940> answered<06030>(8799) and said<0559>(8799), I am young<06810><03117>, and ye are very old<03453>; wherefore I was afraid<02119>(8804), and durst<03372>(8799) not shew<02331>(8763) you mine opinion<01843>. {young: Heb. few of days} {durst...: Heb. feared}
7 我說<0559>(8804)，年老的<03117>當先說話<01696>(8762)；壽<08141>高<07230>的當以智慧<02451>教訓<03045>(8686)人。
I said<0559>(8804), Days<03117> should speak<01696>(8762), and multitude<07230> of years<08141> should teach<03045>(8686) wisdom<02451>.
8 但<0403>在人<09002><0582>裡面有<01931>靈<07307>；全能者<07706>的氣<05397>使人有聰明<0995>(8799)。
But<0403> there is a spirit<07307> in man<0582>: and the inspiration<05397> of the Almighty<07706> giveth them understanding<0995>(8799).
9 尊貴的<07227>不<03808>都有智慧<02449>(8799)；壽高的<02205>不都能明白<0995>(8799)公平<04941>。
Great men<07227> are not always wise<02449>(8799): neither do the aged<02205> understand<0995>(8799) judgment<04941>.
10 因此<09001><03651>我說<0559>(8804)：你們要聽<08085>(8798)我<09001>言；我<0589>也要<0637>陳說<02331>(8762)我的意見<01843>。
Therefore I said<0559>(8804), Hearken<08085>(8798) to me; I also will shew<02331>(8762) mine opinion<01843>.
11 {<05704>}你們查究<02713>(8799)所要說的話<04405>；{<02005>}那時我等候<03176>(8689)你們的話<09001><01697>，側耳<0238>(8686)聽<05704>你們的辯論<08394>，
Behold, I waited<03176>(8689) for your words<01697>; I gave ear<0238>(8686) to your reasons<08394>, whilst ye searched out<02713>(8799) what to say<04405>. {reasons: Heb. understandings} {what...: Heb. words}
12 留心<0995>(8709)聽你們<05704>；誰知<02009>你們中間<04480>無<0369>一人折服<03198>(8688)約伯<09001><0347>，駁倒<06030>(8802)他的話<0561>。
Yea, I attended<0995>(8709) unto you, and, behold, there was none of you that convinced<03198>(8688) Job<0347>, or that answered<06030>(8802) his words<0561>:
13 你們切不可<06435>說<0559>(8799)：我們尋得<04672>(8804)智慧<02451>；　神<0410>能勝他<05086>(8799)，人<0376>卻不能<03808>。
Lest ye should say<0559>(8799), We have found out<04672>(8804) wisdom<02451>: God<0410> thrusteth him down<05086>(8799), not man<0376>.
14 約伯沒有<03808>向我<0413>爭<06186>(8804)辯<04405>；我也不<03808>用你們的話<09002><0561>回答他<07725>(8686)。
Now he hath not directed<06186>(8804) his words<04405> against me: neither will I answer<07725>(8686) him with your speeches<0561>. {directed: or, ordered}
15 他們驚奇<02865>(8804)不<03808>再<05750>回答<06030>(8804)，一言<04405>{<04480>}不發<06275>(8689)。
They were amazed<02865>(8804), they answered<06030>(8804) no more: they left off<06275>(8689) speaking<04405>. {left...: Heb. removed speeches from themselves}
16 我豈因<03588>他們不<03808>說話<01696>(8762)，{<03588>}站住<05975>(8804)不<03808>再<05750>回答<06030>(8804)，仍舊等候<03176>(8689)呢？
When I had waited<03176>(8689), (for they spake<01696>(8762) not, but stood still<05975>(8804), and answered<06030>(8804) no more;)
17 我<0589>也要<0637>回答<06030>(8799)我的一分<02506>話，{<0637>}{<0589>}陳說<02331>(8762)我的意見<01843>。
I said , I will answer<06030>(8799) also my part<02506>, I also will shew<02331>(8762) mine opinion<01843>.
18 因為<03588>我的言語<04405>滿<04390>(8804)懷；我裡面的<0990>靈<07307>激動我<06693>(8689)。
For I am full<04390>(8804) of matter<04405>, the spirit<07307> within<0990> me constraineth<06693>(8689) me. {matter: Heb. words} {spirit...: Heb. spirit of my belly}
19 {<02009>}我的胸懷<0990>如盛酒<09003><03196>之囊沒有<03808>出氣之縫<06605>(8735)，又如新<02319>皮袋<09003><0178>快要破裂<01234>(8735)。
Behold, my belly<0990> is as wine<03196> which hath no vent<06605>(8735); it is ready to burst<01234>(8735) like new<02319> bottles<0178>. {hath...: Heb. is not opened}
20 我要說話<01696>(8762)，使我<09001>舒暢<07304>(8799)；我要開<06605>(8799)口<08193>回答<06030>(8799)。
I will speak<01696>(8762), that I may be refreshed<07304>(8799): I will open<06605>(8799) my lips<08193> and answer<06030>(8799). {be...: Heb. breathe}
21 我必<04994>不<0408>看<05375>(8799)人<0376>的情面<06440>，也不<03808>奉承<03655>(8762){<0413>}人<0120>。
Let me not, I pray you, accept<05375>(8799) any man's<0376> person<06440>, neither let me give flattering titles<03655>(8762) unto man<0120>.
22 {<03588>}我不<03808>曉得<03045>(8804)奉承<03655>(8762)；若奉承，造我的<06213>(8802)主必快快<09003><04592>除滅我<05375>(8799)。
For I know<03045>(8804) not to give flattering titles<03655>(8762); in so doing my maker<06213>(8802) would soon<04592> take me away<05375>(8799).
