24:1 全能者<04480><07706>既<03808>定<06845>(8738)期<06256>罰惡，為何<04069>不<03808>使認識<03045>(8802)他的人看見<02372>(8804)那日子<03117>呢？
Why, seeing times<06256> are not hidden<06845>(8738) from the Almighty<07706>, do they that know<03045>(8802) him not see<02372>(8804) his days<03117>?
24:2 有人挪移<05381>(8686)地界<01367>，搶奪<01497>(8804)群畜<05739>而牧養<07462>(8799)。
Some remove<05381>(8686) the landmarks<01367>; they violently take away<01497>(8804) flocks<05739>, and feed<07462>(8799) thereof . {feed...: or, feed them}
24:3 他們拉去<05090>(8799)孤兒<03490>的驢<02543>，強取寡婦的<0490>牛<07794>為當頭<02254>(8799)。
They drive away<05090>(8799) the ass<02543> of the fatherless<03490>, they take<02254><00> the widow's<0490> ox<07794> for a pledge<02254>(8799).
24:4 他們使<05186>(8686)窮人<034>離開正道<04480><01870>；世上的<0776>貧民<06041>(8675)<06035>盡都<03162>隱藏<02244>(8795)。
They turn<05186>(8686) the needy<034> out of the way<01870>: the poor<06041>(8675)<06035> of the earth<0776> hide<02244>(8795) themselves together<03162>.
24:5 {<02005>}這些貧窮人如同野驢<06501>出到<03318>(8804)曠野<09002><04057>，殷勤<09002><06467>尋找<07836>(8764)食物<09001><02964>；他們<09001>靠著野地<06160>給兒女<09001><05288>糊口<03899>，
Behold, as wild asses<06501> in the desert<04057>, go they forth<03318>(8804) to their work<06467>; rising betimes<07836>(8764) for a prey<02964>: the wilderness<06160> yieldeth food<03899> for them and for their children<05288>.
24:6 收割<07114>(8799)(8675)<07114>(8686)別人田間<09002><07704>的禾稼<01098>，摘取<03953>(8762)惡人<07563>餘剩的葡萄<03754>，
They reap<07114>(8799)(8675)<07114>(8686) every one his corn<01098> in the field<07704>: and they gather<03953>(8762) the vintage<03754> of the wicked<07563>. {corn: Heb. mingled corn, or, dredge} {they gather...: Heb. the wicked gather the vintage}
24:7 終夜<03885>(8686)赤身<06174>無<04480><01097>衣<03830>，天氣寒冷<09002><07135>毫無<0369>遮蓋<03682>，
They cause the naked<06174> to lodge<03885>(8686) without clothing<03830>, that they have no covering<03682> in the cold<07135>.
24:8 在山上<02022>被大雨<04480><02230>淋濕<07372>(8799)，因沒有<04480><01097>避身之處<04268>就挨近<02263>(8765)磐石<06697>。
They are wet<07372>(8799) with the showers<02230> of the mountains<02022>, and embrace<02263>(8765) the rock<06697> for want of a shelter<04268>.
24:9 又有人從母懷中<04480><07699>搶奪<01497>(8799)孤兒<03490>，強取<05921>窮人<06041>的衣服為當頭<02254>(8799)，
They pluck<01497>(8799) the fatherless<03490> from the breast<07699>, and take a pledge<02254>(8799) of the poor<06041>.
24:10 使人赤身<06174>無<01097>衣<03830>，到處流行<01980>(8765)，且因飢餓<07457>扛抬<05375>(8804)禾捆<06016>，
They cause him to go<01980>(8765) naked<06174> without clothing<03830>, and they take away<05375>(8804) the sheaf<06016> from the hungry<07457>;
24:11 在那些人的圍牆<07791>內<0996>造油<06671>(8686)，醡<01869>(8804)酒<03342>，自己還口渴<06770>(8799)。
Which make oil<06671>(8686) within<0996> their walls<07791>, and tread<01869>(8804) their winepresses<03342>, and suffer thirst<06770>(8799).
24:12 在多民的城內<04480><05892>有人<04962>唉哼<05008>(8799)，受傷的<02491>人<05315>哀號<07768>(8762)；　神<0433>卻不<03808>理會<07760>(8799)那惡人的愚妄<08604>。
Men<04962> groan<05008>(8799) from out of the city<05892>, and the soul<05315> of the wounded<02491> crieth out<07768>(8762): yet God<0433> layeth<07760>(8799) not folly<08604> to them .
24:13 又有人<01992>{<01961>}背棄<09002><04775>(8802)光明<0216>，不<03808>認識<05234>(8689)光明的道<01870>，不<03808>住<03427>(8804)在光明的路上<09002><05410>。
They are of those that rebel<04775>(8802) against the light<0216>; they know<05234>(8689) not the ways<01870> thereof, nor abide<03427>(8804) in the paths<05410> thereof.
24:14 殺人的<07523>(8802)黎明<09001><0216>起來<06965>(8799)，殺害<06991>(8799)困苦<034>窮乏<06041>人，夜間<09002><03915>又作<01961>盜賊<09003><01590>。
The murderer<07523>(8802) rising<06965>(8799) with the light<0216> killeth<06991>(8799) the poor<06041> and needy<034>, and in the night<03915> is as a thief<01590>.
24:15 姦夫<05003>(8802){<05869>}等候<08104>(8804)黃昏<05399>，說<09001><0559>(8800)：必無<03808>眼<05869>能見我<07789>(8799)，就把<07760>(8799)臉<06440>蒙蔽<05643>。
The eye<05869> also of the adulterer<05003>(8802) waiteth<08104>(8804) for the twilight<05399>, saying<0559>(8800), No eye<05869> shall see<07789>(8799) me: and disguiseth<05643><07760>(8799) his face<06440>. {disguiseth...: Heb. setteth his face in secret}
24:16 盜賊黑夜<09002><02822>挖<02864>(8804)窟窿{<01004>}；白日<03119>躲藏<02856>(8765){<09001>}，並不<03808>認識<03045>(8804)光明<0216>。
In the dark<02822> they dig through<02864>(8804) houses<01004>, which they had marked<02856>(8765) for themselves in the daytime<03119>: they know<03045>(8804) not the light<0216>.
24:17 {<03588>}他們<09001>看早晨<01242>如<03162>幽暗<06757>，因為<03588>他們曉得<05234>(8686)幽暗<06757>的驚駭<01091>。
For the morning<01242> is to them even as<03162> the shadow of death<06757>: if one know<05234>(8686) them, they are in the terrors<01091> of the shadow of death<06757>.
24:18 這些惡人<01931>猶如浮萍{<05921>}{<06440>}{<04325>}快快飄去<07031>。他們所得的分<02513>在世上<09002><0776>被咒詛<07043>(8792)；他們不得<03808>再走<06437>(8799)葡萄園<03754>的路<01870>。
He is swift<07031> as the waters<06440><04325>; their portion<02513> is cursed<07043>(8792) in the earth<0776>: he beholdeth<06437>(8799) not the way<01870> of the vineyards<03754>.
24:19 乾旱<06723>{<01571>}炎熱<02527>消沒<01497>(8799)雪<07950>水<04325>；陰間<07585>也如此消沒犯罪之輩<02398>(8804)。
Drought<06723> and heat<02527> consume<01497>(8799) the snow<07950> waters<04325>: so doth the grave<07585> those which have sinned<02398>(8804). {consume: Heb. violently take}
24:20 懷他的母（原文是胎<07358>）要忘記<07911>(8799)他；蟲子<07415>要吃他，覺得甘甜<04988>(8804)；他不<03808>再<05750>被人記念<02142>(8735)。不義的人<05766>必如樹<09003><06086>折斷<07665>(8735)。
The womb<07358> shall forget<07911>(8799) him; the worm<07415> shall feed sweetly<04988>(8804) on him; he shall be no more remembered<02142>(8735); and wickedness<05766> shall be broken<07665>(8735) as a tree<06086>.
24:21 他惡待（或譯：他吞滅<07462>(8802)）不懷孕<06135>不<03808>生養<03205>(8799)的婦人，不<03808>善待<03190>(8686)寡婦<0490>。
He evil entreateth<07462>(8802) the barren<06135> that beareth<03205>(8799) not: and doeth not good<03190>(8686) to the widow<0490>.
24:22 然而　神用能力<09002><03581>保全<04900>(8804)有勢力的人<047>；那性命<09002><02416>難<03808>保的<0539>(8686)人仍然興起<06965>(8799)。
He draweth<04900>(8804) also the mighty<047> with his power<03581>: he riseth up<06965>(8799), and no man is sure<0539>(8686) of life<02416>. {no...: or, he trusteth not his own life}
24:23 　神使<05414>(8799)他們<09001>安穩<09001><0983>，他們就有所倚靠<08172>(8735)；　神的眼目<05869>也看顧<05921>他們的道路<01870>。
Though it be given<05414>(8799) him to be in safety<0983>, whereon he resteth<08172>(8735); yet his eyes<05869> are upon their ways<01870>.
24:24 他們被高舉<07426>(8804)，不過片時<04592>就沒有了<0369>；他們降為卑<04355>(8717)，被除滅<07092>(8735)，與眾人一樣<09003><03605>，又如穀<07641>穗<09003><07218>被割<05243>(8799)。
They are exalted<07426>(8804) for a little while<04592>, but are gone and brought low<04355>(8717); they are taken out<07092>(8735) of the way<01870> as all other , and cut off<05243>(8799) as the tops<07218> of the ears of corn<07641>. {are gone: Heb. are not} {taken...: Heb. closed up}
24:25 若<0518>不是<03808>這樣<0645>，誰<04310>能證實我是說謊的<03576>(8686)，將我的言語<04405>駁為<07760>(8799)虛空<09001><0408>呢？
And if it be not so now<0645>, who will make<07760>(8799) me a liar<03576>(8686), and make<07760>(8799) my speech<04405> nothing worth<0408>?
