1:1 烏斯<05780>地<09002><0776>有<01961>一個人<0376>名叫<08034>約伯<0347>；那<01931>人<0376>{<01961>}完全<08535>正直<03477>，敬畏<03373>神<0430>，遠離<05493>(8802)惡事<04480><07451>。
There was a man<0376> in the land<0776> of Uz<05780>, whose name<08034> was Job<0347>; and that man<0376> was perfect<08535> and upright<03477>, and one that feared<03373> God<0430>, and eschewed<05493>(8802) evil<07451>.
1:2 他<09001>生了<03205>(8735)七個<07651>兒子<01121>，三個<07969>女兒<01323>。
And there were born<03205>(8735) unto him seven<07651> sons<01121> and three<07969> daughters<01323>.
1:3 他的家產<04735>有<01961>七<07651>千<0505>羊<06629>，三<07969>千<0505>駱駝<01581>，五<02568>百<03967>對<06776>牛<01241>，五<02568>百<03967>母驢<0860>，並有許<03966>多<07227>僕婢<05657>。這<01931>人<0376>在東方<06924>{<04480>}{<03605>}人<01121>中就為<01961>至大<01419>。
His substance<04735> also was seven<07651> thousand<0505> sheep<06629>, and three<07969> thousand<0505> camels<01581>, and five<02568> hundred<03967> yoke<06776> of oxen<01241>, and five<02568> hundred<03967> she asses<0860>, and a very<03966> great<07227> household<05657>; so that this man<0376> was the greatest<01419> of all the men<01121> of the east<06924>. {substance: or, cattle} {household: or, husbandry} {men: Heb. sons}
1:4 他的兒子<01121>按著日子<03117>各<0376>在{<01980>}{(8804)}自己家<01004>裡設擺筵宴<04960><06213>(8804)，就打發人<07971>(8804)去，請了<07121>(8804)他們的三個<09001><07969>姊妹<0269>來，與他們<05973>一同吃<09001><0398>(8800)喝<09001><08354>(8800)。
And his sons<01121> went<01980>(8804) and feasted<04960><06213>(8804) in their houses<01004>, every one<0376> his day<03117>; and sent<07971>(8804) and called<07121>(8804) for their three<07969> sisters<0269> to eat<0398>(8800) and to drink<08354>(8800) with them.
1:5 {<01961>}{<03588>}筵宴<04960>的日子<03117>過了<05362>(8689)，約伯<0347>打發<07971>(8799)人去叫他們自潔<06942>(8762)。他清早<09002><01242>起來<07925>(8689)，按著他們眾人<03605>的數目<04557>獻<05927>(8689)燔祭<05930>；因為<03588>他<0347>說<0559>(8804)：「恐怕<0194>我兒子<01121>犯了罪<02398>(8804)，心中<09002><03824>棄掉<01288>(8765)神<0430>。」約伯<0347>常常<03605><03117>這樣<03602>行<06213>(8799)。
And it was so, when the days<03117> of their feasting<04960> were gone about<05362>(8689), that Job<0347> sent<07971>(8799) and sanctified<06942>(8762) them, and rose up early<07925>(8689) in the morning<01242>, and offered<05927>(8689) burnt offerings<05930> according to the number<04557> of them all: for Job<0347> said<0559>(8804), It may be<0194> that my sons<01121> have sinned<02398>(8804), and cursed<01288>(8765) God<0430> in their hearts<03824>. 1:6 有<01961>一天<03117>，神<0430>的眾子<01121>來<0935>(8799)侍立<09001><03320>(8692)在<05921>耶和華<03068>面前，撒但<07854>也<01571>來<0935>(8799)在其中<09002><08432>。
Now there was a day<03117> when the sons<01121> of God<0430> came<0935>(8799) to present<03320>(8692) themselves before the LORD<03068>, and Satan<07854> came<0935>(8799) also among<08432> them. {Satan: Heb. the adversary} {among: Heb. in the midst of}
1:7 耶和華<03068>問<0413>撒但<07854>說<0559>(8799)：「你從哪裡<04480><0370>來<0935>(8799)？」撒但<07854>回答<06030>(8799){<0853>}{<03068>}說<0559>(8799)：「我從地上<09002><0776>走來走去<04480><07751>(8800)，往返而來<04480><01980>(8692){<09002>}。」
And the LORD<03068> said<0559>(8799) unto Satan<07854>, Whence<0370> comest<0935>(8799) thou? Then Satan<07854> answered<06030>(8799) the LORD<03068>, and said<0559>(8799), From going to and fro<07751>(8800) in the earth<0776>, and from walking up and down<01980>(8692) in it.
1:8 耶和華<03068>問<0413>撒但<07854>說<0559>(8799)：「你曾用<07760>(8804)心<03820>察看<05921>我的僕人<05650>約伯<0347>沒有？{<03588>}地上<09002><0776>再沒有<0369>人<0376>像他<03644>完全<08535>正直<03477>，敬畏<03373>神<0430>，遠離<05493>(8802)惡事<04480><07451>。」
And the LORD<03068> said<0559>(8799) unto Satan<07854>, Hast thou considered<07760>(8804)<03820> my servant<05650> Job<0347>, that there is none like him in the earth<0776>, a perfect<08535> and an upright<03477> man<0376>, one that feareth<03373> God<0430>, and escheweth<05493>(8802) evil<07451>? {considered: Heb. set thy heart on}
1:9 撒但<07854>回答<06030>(8799){<0853>}耶和華<03068>說<0559>(8799)：「約伯<0347>敬畏<03372>(8804)神<0430>，豈是無故<02600>呢？
Then Satan<07854> answered<06030>(8799) the LORD<03068>, and said<0559>(8799), Doth Job<0347> fear<03372>(8804) God<0430> for nought<02600>?
1:10 你<0859>豈不是<03808>四面<04480><05439>圈上籬笆<07753>(8804)圍護他<01157>和<01157>他的家<01004>，並<01157>他<09001>一切<03605>所<0834>有的嗎？他手<03027>所做的<04639>都蒙你賜福<01288>(8765)；他的家產<04735>也在地上<09002><0776>增多<06555>(8804)。
Hast not thou made an hedge<07753>(8804) about him, and about<01157> his house<01004>, and about all that he hath on every side<05439>? thou hast blessed<01288>(8765) the work<04639> of his hands<03027>, and his substance<04735> is increased<06555>(8804) in the land<0776>. {substance: or, cattle}
1:11 你且<0199>伸<07971>(8798){<04994>}手<03027>毀<05060>(8798)他<09001>一切<09002><03605>所<0834>有的；他必<0518><03808>當<05921>面<06440>棄掉你<01288>(8762)。」
But<0199> put forth<07971>(8798) thine hand<03027> now, and touch<05060>(8798) all that he hath, and he will curse<01288>(8762)<03808> thee to thy face<06440>. {and he...: Heb. if he curse thee not to thy face}
1:12 耶和華<03068>對<0413>撒但<07854>說<0559>(8799)：「{<02009>}凡<03605>他<09001>所<0834>有的都在你手中<09002><03027>；只是<07535>不可<0408>伸<07971>(8799)手<03027>加害於他<0413>。」於是撒但<07854>從<04480><05973>耶和華<03068>面前<06440>退去<03318>(8799)。
And the LORD<03068> said<0559>(8799) unto Satan<07854>, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power<03027>; only upon himself put not forth<07971>(8799) thine hand<03027>. So Satan<07854> went forth<03318>(8799) from the presence<06440> of the LORD<03068>. {power: Heb. hand}
1:13 有<01961>一天<03117>，約伯的兒<01121>女<01323>正在他們長<01060>兄<0251>的家<09002><01004>裡吃飯<0398>(8802)喝<08354>(8802)酒<03196>，
And there was a day<03117> when his sons<01121> and his daughters<01323> were eating<0398>(8802) and drinking<08354>(8802) wine<03196> in their eldest<01060> brother's<0251> house<01004>:
1:14 有報信的<04397>來<0935>(8804)見<0413>約伯<0347>，說<0559>(8799)：「牛<01241>正<01961>耕地<02790>(8802)，驢<0860>在<05921>旁邊<03027>吃草<07462>(8802)，
And there came<0935>(8804) a messenger<04397> unto Job<0347>, and said<0559>(8799), The oxen<01241> were plowing<02790>(8802), and the asses<0860> feeding<07462>(8802) beside<03027> them:
1:15 示巴人<07614>忽然闖來<05307>(8799)，把牲畜擄去<03947>(8799)，並用<09001><06310>刀<02719>殺了<05221>(8689){<0853>}僕人<05288>；惟有<07535>我<0589>一人<09001><0905>逃脫<04422>(8735)，來報信<09001><05046>(8687)給你<09001>。」
And the Sabeans<07614> fell<05307>(8799) upon them , and took them away<03947>(8799); yea, they have slain<05221>(8689) the servants<05288> with the edge<06310> of the sword<02719>; and I only am escaped<04422>(8735) alone to tell<05046>(8687) thee.
1:16 他<02088>還<05750>說話<01696>(8764)的時候，又有人<02088>來<0935>(8802)說<0559>(8799)：「神<0430>從<04480>天上<08064>降下<05307>(8804)火<0784>來，將群羊<09002><06629>和僕人<09002><05288>都燒<01197>(8799)滅了<0398>(8799)；惟有<07535>我<0589>一人<09001><0905>逃脫<04422>(8735)，來報信<09001><05046>(8687)給你<09001>。」
While he was yet speaking<01696>(8764), there came<0935>(8802) also another, and said<0559>(8799), The fire<0784> of God<0430> is fallen<05307>(8804) from heaven<08064>, and hath burned up<01197>(8799) the sheep<06629>, and the servants<05288>, and consumed<0398>(8799) them; and I only am escaped<04422>(8735) alone to tell<05046>(8687) thee. {The fire...: or, A great fire}
1:17 他<02088>還<05750>說話<01696>(8764)的時候，又有人<02088>來<0935>(8802)說<0559>(8799)：「迦勒底人<03778>分作<07760>(8804)三<07969>隊<07218>忽然闖來<06584>(8799)，把<05921>駱駝<01581>擄去<03947>(8799)，並用<09001><06310>刀<02719>殺了<05221>(8689){<0853>}僕人<05288>；惟有<07535>我<0589>一人<09001><0905>逃脫<04422>(8735)，來報信<09001><05046>(8687)給你<09001>。」

1:18 他<02088>還<05704>說話<01696>(8764)的時候，又有人<02088>來<0935>(8802)說<0559>(8799)：「你的兒<01121>女<01323>正在他們長<01060>兄<0251>的家<09002><01004>裡吃飯<0398>(8802)喝<08354>(8802)酒<03196>，
While he was yet speaking<01696>(8764), there came<0935>(8802) also another, and said<0559>(8799), Thy sons<01121> and thy daughters<01323> were eating<0398>(8802) and drinking<08354>(8802) wine<03196> in their eldest<01060> brother's<0251> house<01004>:
1:19 不料<02009>，有狂<01419>風<07307>從<04480><05676>曠野<04057>颳來<0935>(8804)，擊打<05060>(8799)房屋<01004>的四<09002><0702>角<06438>，房屋倒塌<05307>(8799)在<05921>少年人<05288>身上，他們就都死了<04191>(8799)；惟有<07535>我<0589>一人<09001><0905>逃脫<04422>(8735)，來報信<09001><05046>(8687)給你<09001>。」
And, behold, there came<0935>(8804) a great<01419> wind<07307> from<05676> the wilderness<04057>, and smote<05060>(8799) the four<0702> corners<06438> of the house<01004>, and it fell<05307>(8799) upon the young men<05288>, and they are dead<04191>(8799); and I only am escaped<04422>(8735) alone to tell<05046>(8687) thee. {from...: Heb. from aside, etc}
1:20 約伯<0347>便起來<06965>(8799)，撕裂<07167>(8799){<0853>}外袍<04598>，剃了<01494>(8799){<0853>}頭<07218>，伏在<05307>(8799)地上<0776>下拜<07812>(8691)，
Then Job<0347> arose<06965>(8799), and rent<07167>(8799) his mantle<04598>, and shaved<01494>(8799) his head<07218>, and fell down<05307>(8799) upon the ground<0776>, and worshipped<07812>(8691), {mantle: or, robe}
1:21 說<0559>(8799)：「我赤身<06174>出<03318>(8804)於母<0517>胎<04480><0990>，也必赤身<06174>歸回<07725>(8799){<08033>}；賞賜<05414>(8804)的是耶和華<03068>，收取<03947>(8804)的也是耶和華<03068>。耶和華<03068>的名<08034>是<01961>應當稱頌<01288>(8794)的。」
And said<0559>(8799), Naked<06174> came I out<03318>(8804) of my mother's<0517> womb<0990>, and naked<06174> shall I return<07725>(8799) thither: the LORD<03068> gave<05414>(8804), and the LORD<03068> hath taken away<03947>(8804); blessed<01288>(8794) be the name<08034> of the LORD<03068>.
1:22 在這<02063>一切的事上<09002><03605>約伯<0347>並不<03808>犯罪<02398>(8804)，也不<03808>以神<09001><0430>為愚妄<08604>（或譯：也不妄評<05414>(8804)神<0430>）。
In all this Job<0347> sinned<02398>(8804) not, nor charged<05414>(8804) God<0430> foolishly<08604>. {charged...: or, attributed folly to God}
