2 正遇見<04672>(8735)書上寫著<03789>(8803)說<0834>：王<04428>的太監<05631>中有<0834>兩個<08147>守<04480><08104>(8802)門<05592>的，辟探<0904>和提列<08657>，想要<01245>(8765)下<09001><07971>(8800)手<03027>害亞哈隨魯<0325>王<09002><04428>，末底改<04782>將這事<05921>告訴<05046>(8689)王后。
And it was found<04672>(8735) written<03789>(8803), that Mordecai<04782> had told<05046>(8689) of Bigthana<0904> and Teresh<08657>, two<08147> of the king's<04428> chamberlains<05631>, the keepers<08104>(8802) of the door<05592>, who sought<01245>(8765) to lay<07971>(8800) hand<03027> on the king<04428> Ahasuerus<0325>. {Bigthana: also called, Bigthan} {door: Heb. threshold}
3 王<04428>說<0559>(8799)：「末底改行了<05921>這事<02088>，賜<06213>(8738)他<09001><04782>甚麼<04100>尊榮<03366>爵位<01420>沒有？」伺候<08334>(8764)王<04428>的臣僕<05288>回答說<0559>(8799)：「沒有<03808>賜<06213>(8738)他<05973>甚麼<01697>。」
And the king<04428> said<0559>(8799), What honour<03366> and dignity<01420> hath been done<06213>(8738) to Mordecai<04782> for this? Then said<0559>(8799) the king's<04428> servants<05288> that ministered<08334>(8764) unto him, There is nothing<01697> done<06213>(8738) for him.
4 王<04428>說<0559>(8799)：「誰<04310>在院子<09002><02691>裡？」（那時哈曼<02001>正進<0935>(8804)王<04428>宮<01004>的外<02435>院<09001><02691>，要求<09001><0559>(8800)王<09001><04428>將<0853>末底改<04782>掛<09001><08518>(8800)在<05921>他所<0834>預備<03559>(8689){<09001>}的木架<06086>上。）
And the king<04428> said<0559>(8799), Who is in the court<02691>? Now Haman<02001> was come<0935>(8804) into the outward<02435> court<02691> of the king's<04428> house<01004>, to speak<0559>(8800) unto the king<04428> to hang<08518>(8800) Mordecai<04782> on the gallows<06086> that he had prepared<03559>(8689) for him.
5 臣僕<05288>{<04428>}說<0559>(8799){<0413>}：「{<02009>}哈曼<02001>站<05975>(8802)在院<09002><02691>內。」王<04428>說<0559>(8799)：「叫他進來<0935>(8799)。」
And the king's<04428> servants<05288> said<0559>(8799) unto him, Behold, Haman<02001> standeth<05975>(8802) in the court<02691>. And the king<04428> said<0559>(8799), Let him come in<0935>(8799).
6 哈曼<02001>就進去<0935>(8799)。王<04428>問他<09001>說<0559>(8799)：「王<04428>所<0834>喜悅<02654>(8804)尊榮<09002><03366>的人，當如何<04100>待<06213>(8800)他<09002><0376>呢？」哈曼<02001>心<09002><03820>裡說<0559>(8799)：「王<04428>所喜悅<02654>(8799){<09001>}{<06213>}{(8800)}尊榮<03366>的，不是<03148>我<04480>是誰<09001><04310>呢？」
So Haman<02001> came in<0935>(8799). And the king<04428> said<0559>(8799) unto him, What shall be done<06213>(8800) unto the man<0376> whom the king<04428> delighteth<02654>(8804) to honour<03366>? Now Haman<02001> thought<0559>(8799) in his heart<03820>, To whom would the king<04428> delight<02654>(8799) to do<06213>(8800) honour<03366> more<03148> than to myself? {whom the king...: Heb. in whose honour the king delighteth}
7 哈曼<02001>就回答<0559>(8799){<0413>}{<04428>}說：「王<04428>所<0834>喜悅<02654>(8804)尊榮<09002><03366>的{<0376>}，
And Haman<02001> answered<0559>(8799) the king<04428>, For the man<0376> whom the king<04428> delighteth<02654>(8804) to honour<03366>, {whom the king...: Heb. in whose honour the king delighteth}
8 當{<0935>}{(8686)}{<0834>}將王<04428>常穿<03847>(8804)的朝<04438>服<03830>和<0834>戴<05414>(8738){<09002>}{<07218>}冠<03804>{<04438>}的<0834>御<04428>馬<05483>{<07392>}{(8804)}{<05921>}，
Let the royal<04438> apparel<03830> be brought<0935>(8686) which the king<04428> useth to wear<03847>(8804), and the horse<05483> that the king<04428> rideth<07392>(8804) upon, and the crown<03804> royal<04438> which is set<05414>(8738) upon his head<07218>: {Let...: Heb. 9 {<03830>}{<05483>}都交<05414>(8800)給<05921><03027>王<04428>極尊貴<06579>的一個<0376>大臣<04480><08269>，命他將衣服給<0853>王<04428>所<0834>喜悅<02654>(8804)尊榮<09002><03366>的人<0376>穿上<03847>(8689)，使他騎<07392>(8689)上<05921>馬<05483>，走遍城<05892>裡的街市<09002><07339>，在他面前<09001><06440>宣告<07121>(8804)說：王<04428>所<0834>喜悅<02654>(8804)尊榮<09002><03366>的人，就如此<03602>待<06213>(8735)他<09001><0376>。」
And let this apparel<03830> and horse<05483> be delivered<05414>(8800) to the hand<03027> of one<0376> of the king's<04428> most noble<06579> princes<08269>, that they may array<03847>(8689) the man<0376> withal whom the king<04428> delighteth<02654>(8804) to honour<03366>, and bring<07392>(8689) him on horseback<05483> through the street<07339> of the city<05892>, and proclaim<07121>(8804) before<06440> him, Thus shall it be done<06213>(8735) to the man<0376> whom the king<04428> delighteth<02654>(8804) to honour<03366>. {bring...: Heb. cause him to ride}
10 王<04428>對哈曼<09001><02001>說<0559>(8799)：「你速速<04116>(8761){<03947>}{(8798)}將<0853>這衣服<03830>和<0853>馬<05483>，照你所<09003><0834>說<01696>(8765)的，向坐<03427>(8802)在朝<04428>門<09002><08179>的猶大人<03064>末底改<09001><04782>去行<06213>(8798){<03651>}。凡<04480><03605>你所<0834>說<01696>(8765)的，一樣<01697>不可<0408>缺<05307>(8686)。」
Then the king<04428> said<0559>(8799) to Haman<02001>, Make haste<04116>(8761), and take<03947>(8798) the apparel<03830> and the horse<05483>, as thou hast said<01696>(8765), and do<06213>(8798) even so to Mordecai<04782> the Jew<03064>, that sitteth<03427>(8802) at the king's<04428> gate<08179>: let nothing<01697> fail<05307>(8686) of all that thou hast spoken<01696>(8765). {let...: Heb. suffer not a whit to fall}
11 於是哈曼<02001>{<03947>}{(8799)}將<0853>朝服<03830>給<0853>末底改<04782>穿上<03847>(8686)，使他騎上<07392>(8686){<0853>}馬<05483>，走遍城<05892>裡的街市<09002><07339>，在他面前<09001><06440>宣告<07121>(8799)說：「王<04428>所<0834>喜悅<02654>(8804)尊榮<09002><03366>的人，就如此<03602>待<06213>(8735)他<09001><0376>。」
Then took<03947>(8799) Haman<02001> the apparel<03830> and the horse<05483>, and arrayed<03847>(8686) Mordecai<04782>, and brought him on horseback<07392>(8686) through the street<07339> of the city<05892>, and proclaimed<07121>(8799) before<06440> him, Thus shall it be done<06213>(8735) unto the man<0376> whom the king<04428> delighteth<02654>(8804) to honour<03366>.
12 末底改<04782>仍回<07725>(8799)到<0413>朝<04428>門<08179>，哈曼<02001>卻憂憂悶悶<057>地蒙著<02645>(8802)頭<07218>，急忙<01765>(8738)回<0413>家<01004>去了，
And Mordecai<04782> came again<07725>(8799) to the king's<04428> gate<08179>. But Haman<02001> hasted<01765>(8738) to his house<01004> mourning<057>, and having his head<07218> covered<02645>(8802).
13 {<02001>}將<0853>所<0834>遇的<07136>(8804)一切事<03605>詳細說<05608>(8762)給他的妻<0802>細利斯<09001><02238>和他的眾<09001><03605>朋友<0157>(8802)聽。他的智慧人<02450>和他的妻<0802>細利斯<02238>對他<09001>說<0559>(8799)：「你在末底改<04782>面前<06440>始<02490>(8689)而敗落<09001><05307>(8800)，他<0834>如果<0518>是猶大<03064>人<04480><02233>，你必不<03808>能勝<03201>(8799)他<09001>，終<03588>必<05307>(8800)在他面前<09001><06440>敗落<05307>(8799)。」
And Haman<02001> told<05608>(8762) Zeresh<02238> his wife<0802> and all his friends<0157>(8802) every thing that had befallen<07136>(8804) him. Then said<0559>(8799) his wise men<02450> and Zeresh<02238> his wife<0802> unto him, If Mordecai<04782> be of the seed<02233> of the Jews<03064>, before<06440> whom thou hast begun<02490>(8689) to fall<05307>(8800), thou shalt not prevail<03201>(8799) against him, but shalt surely<05307>(8800) fall<05307>(8799) before<06440> him.
14 他們還<05750>與<05973>哈曼說話<01696>(8764)的時候，王<04428>的太監<05631>來<05060>(8689)催<0926>(8686){<0853>}哈曼<02001>快去<09001><0935>(8687)赴<0413>以斯帖<0635>所<0834>預備<06213>(8804)的筵席<04960>。
And while they were yet talking<01696>(8764) with him, came<05060>(8689) the king's<04428> chamberlains<05631>, and hasted<0926>(8686) to bring<0935>(8687) Haman<02001> unto the banquet<04960> that Esther<0635> had prepared<06213>(8804).
