9:1 這<02088>月<09001><02320>二十<06242>四<0702>日<09002><03117>，以色列<03478>人<01121>聚集<0622>(8738)禁食<09002><06685>，身穿麻衣<09002><08242>，頭蒙<05921>灰塵<0127>。
Now in the twenty<06242> and fourth<0702> day<03117> of this month<02320> the children<01121> of Israel<03478> were assembled<0622>(8738) with fasting<06685>, and with sackclothes<08242>, and earth<0127> upon them.
9:2 以色列<03478>人（人：原文是種類<02233>）就與一切<04480><03605>外邦<05236>人<01121>離絕<0914>(8735)，站著<05975>(8799)承認<03034>(8691){<05921>}自己的罪惡<02403>和列祖<01>的罪孽<05771>。
And the seed<02233> of Israel<03478> separated<0914>(8735) themselves from all strangers<01121><05236>, and stood<05975>(8799) and confessed<03034>(8691) their sins<02403>, and the iniquities<05771> of their fathers<01>. {strangers: Heb. strange children}

And they stood up<06965>(8799) in their place<05977>, and read<07121>(8799) in the book<05612> of the law<08451> of the LORD<03068> their God<0430> one fourth part<07243> of the day<03117>; and another fourth part<07243> they confessed<03034>(8693), and worshipped<07812>(8693) the LORD<03068> their God<0430>.

Then stood up<06965>(8799) upon the stairs<04608>, of the Levites<03881>, Jeshua<03442>, and Bani<01137>, Kadmiel<06934>, Shebaniah<07645>, Bunni<01138>, Sherebiah<08274>, Bani<01137>, and Chenani<03662>, and cried<02199>(8799) with a loud<01419> voice<06963> unto the LORD<03068> their God<0430>. {stairs: or, scaffold}
9:5 利未人<03881>耶書亞<03442>、甲篾<06934>、巴尼<01137>、哈沙尼<02813>、示利比<08274>、荷第雅<01941>、示巴尼<07645>、毘他希雅<06611>說<0559>(8799)：「你們要站起來<06965>(8798)稱頌<01288>(8761){<0853>}耶和華<03068>─你們的上帝<0430>，{<04480>}永世<05769>{<05704>}無盡<05769>。耶和華啊，你榮耀<03519>之名<08034>是應當稱頌<01288>(8762)的！超乎<07311>(8784){<05921>}一切<03605>稱頌<01293>和讚美<08416>。」
Then the Levites<03881>, Jeshua<03442>, and Kadmiel<06934>, Bani<01137>, Hashabniah<02813>, Sherebiah<08274>, Hodijah<01941>, Shebaniah<07645>, and Pethahiah<06611>, said<0559>(8799), Stand up<06965>(8798) and bless<01288>(8761) the LORD<03068> your God<0430> for ever<05769> and ever<05769>: and blessed<01288>(8762) be thy glorious<03519> name<08034>, which is exalted<07311>(8784) above all blessing<01293> and praise<08416>.
9:6 「你<0859>，惟獨你<09001><0905>是<01931>耶和華<03068>！你<0859>造了<06213>(8804){<0853>}天<08064>和天<08064>上的天<08064>，並天上的萬<03605>象<06635>，地<0776>和地上<05921>的<0834>萬物<03605>，海<03220>和海中<09002>所有的<03605><0834>；{<0853>}這一切<03605>都是你<0859>所保存的<02421>(8764)。天<08064>軍<06635>也都敬拜<07812>(8693)你<09001>。
Thou, even thou, art LORD<03068> alone; thou hast made<06213>(8804) heaven<08064>, the heaven<08064> of heavens<08064>, with all their host<06635>, the earth<0776>, and all things that are therein, the seas<03220>, and all that is therein, and thou preservest<02421>(8764) them all; and the host<06635> of heaven<08064> worshippeth<07812>(8693) thee.
9:7 你<0859>是<01931>耶和華<03068>上帝<0430>，曾<0834>揀選<0977>(8804)亞伯蘭<09002><087>，領他出<03318>(8689)迦勒底<03778>的吾珥<04480><0218>，給他改<07760>(8804)名<08034>叫亞伯拉罕<085>。
Thou art the LORD<03068> the God<0430>, who didst choose<0977>(8804) Abram<087>, and broughtest him forth<03318>(8689) out of Ur<0218> of the Chaldees<03778>, and gavest<07760>(8804) him the name<08034> of Abraham<085>;
9:8 你見<04672>(8804){<0853>}他在你面前<09001><06440>心<03824>裡誠實<0539>(8737)，就與他<05973>立<03772>(8800)約<01285>，應許把<09001><05414>(8800){<0853>}迦南人<03669>、赫人<02850>、亞摩利人<0567>、比利洗人<06522>、耶布斯人<02983>、革迦撒人<01622>之地<0776>賜<09001><05414>(8800)給他的後裔<09001><02233>，且應驗<06965>(8686)了{<0853>}你的話<01697>，因為<03588>你<0859>是公義<06662>的。
And foundest<04672>(8804) his heart<03824> faithful<0539>(8737) before<06440> thee, and madest<03772>(8800) a covenant<01285> with him to give<05414>(8800) the land<0776> of the Canaanites<03669>, the Hittites<02850>, the Amorites<0567>, and the Perizzites<06522>, and the Jebusites<02983>, and the Girgashites<01622>, to give<05414>(8800) it, I say , to his seed<02233>, and hast performed<06965>(8686) thy words<01697>; for thou art righteous<06662>:
9:9 「你曾看見<07200>(8799){<0853>}我們列祖<01>在埃及<09002><04714>所受的困苦<06040>，垂聽<08085>(8804){<0853>}他們在<05921>紅<05488>海<03220>邊的哀求<02201>，
And didst see<07200>(8799) the affliction<06040> of our fathers<01> in Egypt<04714>, and heardest<08085>(8804) their cry<02201> by the Red<05488> sea<03220>;
9:10 就施行<05414>(8799)神蹟<0226>奇事<04159>在法老<09002><06547>和他一切<09002><03605>臣僕<05650>，並他國<0776>中的眾<09002><03605>民<05971>身上。你也得了<06213>(8799){<09001>}名聲<08034>，正如今<02088>日<09003><03117>一樣，因為<03588>你知道<03045>(8804){<03588>}他們向我們列祖<05921>行事狂傲<02102>(8689)。
And shewedst<05414>(8799) signs<0226> and wonders<04159> upon Pharaoh<06547>, and on all his servants<05650>, and on all the people<05971> of his land<0776>: for thou knewest<03045>(8804) that they dealt proudly<02102>(8689) against them. So didst thou get<06213>(8799) thee a name<08034>, as it is this day<03117>.
9:11 你又在我們列祖面前<09001><06440>把海<03220>分開<01234>(8804)，使他們在海<03220>中<09002><08432>行走<05674>(8799)乾地<09002><03004>，將<0853>追趕他們的人<07291>(8802)拋<07993>(8689)在深海<09002><04688>，如<03644>石頭<068>拋在大<05794>水<09002><04325>中；
And thou didst divide<01234>(8804) the sea<03220> before<06440> them, so that they went through<05674>(8799) the midst<08432> of the sea<03220> on the dry land<03004>; and their persecutors<07291>(8802) thou threwest<07993>(8689) into the deeps<04688>, as a stone<068> into the mighty<05794> waters<04325>.
9:12 並且白晝<03119>用雲<06051>柱<09002><05982>引導他們<05148>(8689)，黑夜<03915>用火<0784>柱<09002><05982>照亮<09001><0215>(8687)他們<09001>當行<03212>(8799){<09002>}的<0834>{<0853>}路<01870>。
Moreover thou leddest<05148>(8689) them in the day<03119> by a cloudy<06051> pillar<05982>; and in the night<03915> by a pillar<05982> of fire<0784>, to give them light<0215>(8687) in the way<01870> wherein they should go<03212>(8799).
9:13 你也降臨<03381>(8804)在<05921>西奈<05514>山<02022>，從天上<04480><08064>與他們<05973>說話<01696>(8763)，賜<05414>(8799)給他們<09001>正直的<03477>典章<04941>、真實的<0571>律法<08451>、美好的<02896>條例<02706>與誡命<04687>，
Thou camest down<03381>(8804) also upon mount<02022> Sinai<05514>, and spakest<01696>(8763) with them from heaven<08064>, and gavest<05414>(8799) them right<03477> judgments<04941>, and true<0571> laws<08451>, good<02896> statutes<02706> and commandments<04687>: {true...: Heb. laws of truth}
9:14 又使他們<09001>知道<03045>(8689){<0853>}你的安息<07676>聖日<06944>，並藉<09002><03027>你僕人<05650>摩西<04872>傳<06680>(8765)給他們<09001>誡命<04687>、條例<02706>、律法<08451>。
And madest known<03045>(8689) unto them thy holy<06944> sabbath<07676>, and commandedst<06680>(8765) them precepts<04687>, statutes<02706>, and laws<08451>, by the hand<03027> of Moses<04872> thy servant<05650>:
9:15 從天上<04480><08064>賜下<05414>(8804)糧食<03899>充他們<09001>的飢<09001><07458>，從磐石<04480><05553>使水<04325>流出<03318>(8689)解他們<09001>的渴<09001><06772>，又吩咐<0559>(8799)他們<09001>進去<09001><0935>(8800)得<09001><03423>(8800){<0853>}你起<05375>(8804){<0853>}誓<03027>應許賜<09001><05414>(8800)給他們<09001>的<0834>地<0776>。

9:16 但<01992>我們的列祖<01>行事狂傲<02102>(8689)，硬著<07185>(8686){<0853>}頸項<06203>不<03808>聽<08085>(8804)從<0413>你的誡命<04687>；
But they and our fathers<01> dealt proudly<02102>(8689), and hardened<07185>(8686) their necks<06203>, and hearkened<08085>(8804) not to thy commandments<04687>,
9:17 不肯<03985>(8762)順從<09001><08085>(8800)，也不<03808>記念<02142>(8804)你在他們中間<05973>所<0834>行<06213>(8804)的奇事<06381>(8737)，竟硬著<07185>(8686){<0853>}頸項<06203>，居心背逆<09002><04805>，自立<05414>(8799)首領<07218>，要回<09001><07725>(8800)他們為奴<09001><05659>之地。但你是<0859>樂意饒恕<05547>人，有恩典<02587>，有憐憫<07349>，不輕易<0750>發怒<0639>，有豐盛<07227>慈愛<02617>的上帝<0433>，並不<03808>丟棄他們<05800>(8804)。
And refused<03985>(8762) to obey<08085>(8800), neither were mindful<02142>(8804) of thy wonders<06381>(8737) that thou didst<06213>(8804) among them; but hardened<07185>(8686) their necks<06203>, and in their rebellion<04805> appointed<05414>(8799) a captain<07218> to return<07725>(8800) to their bondage<05659>: but thou art a God<0433> ready to pardon<05547>, gracious<02587> and merciful<07349>, slow<0750> to anger<0639>, and of great<07227> kindness<02617>, and forsookest<05800>(8804) them not. {a God...: Heb. a God of pardons}
9:18 他們雖然<0637><03588>鑄了<06213>(8804){<09001>}一隻牛犢<05695>{<04541>}，彼此說<0559>(8799)『這是<02088>領你<05927>(8689)出埃及<04480><04714>的<0834>上帝<0430>』，因而大大<01419>惹動<06213>(8799)你的怒氣<05007>；
Yea, when they had made<06213>(8804) them a molten<04541> calf<05695>, and said<0559>(8799), This is thy God<0430> that brought thee up<05927>(8689) out of Egypt<04714>, and had wrought<06213>(8799) great<01419> provocations<05007>;
9:19 你<0859>還是大施<07227>憐憫<09002><07356>，在曠野<09002><04057>不<03808>丟棄他們<05800>(8804)。白晝<09002><03119>，{<0853>}雲<06051>柱<05982>不<03808>離開<05493>(8804)他們<04480><05921>，仍引導他們<09001><05148>(8687)行路<09002><01870>；黑夜<09002><03915>，{<0853>}火<0784>柱<05982>也不離開他們，仍照亮<09001><0215>(8687)他們<09001>當行<03212>(8799){<09002>}的<0834>{<0853>}路<01870>。
Yet thou in thy manifold<07227> mercies<07356> forsookest<05800>(8804) them not in the wilderness<04057>: the pillar<05982> of the cloud<06051> departed<05493>(8804) not from them by day<03119>, to lead<05148>(8687) them in the way<01870>; neither the pillar<05982> of fire<0784> by night<03915>, to shew them light<0215>(8687), and the way<01870> wherein they should go<03212>(8799).
9:20 你也賜下<05414>(8804)你良善的<02896>靈<07307>教訓他們<09001><07919>(8687)；未嘗<03808>不賜<04513>(8804)嗎哪<04478>使他們糊口<04480><06310>，並賜<05414>(8804)水<04325>解他們<09001>的渴<09001><06772>。
Thou gavest<05414>(8804) also thy good<02896> spirit<07307> to instruct<07919>(8687) them, and withheldest<04513>(8804) not thy manna<04478> from their mouth<06310>, and gavest<05414>(8804) them water<04325> for their thirst<06772>.
9:21 在曠野<09002><04057>四十<0705>年<08141>，你養育他們<03557>(8773)，他們就一無<03808>所缺<02637>(8804)：衣服<08008>沒有<03808>穿破<01086>(8804)，腳<07272>也沒有<03808>腫<01216>(8804)。
Yea, forty<0705> years<08141> didst thou sustain<03557>(8773) them in the wilderness<04057>, so that they lacked<02637>(8804) nothing; their clothes<08008> waxed not old<01086>(8804), and their feet<07272> swelled<01216>(8804) not.
9:22 並且你將列<04467>國<05971>之地照<09001><06285>分<02505>(8799)賜<05414>(8799)給他們<09001>，他們就得了<03423>(8799){<0853>}西宏<05511>之地<0776>、{<0853>}希實本<02809>王<04428>之地<0776>，和<0853>巴珊<01316>王<04428>噩<05747>之地<0776>。
Moreover thou gavest<05414>(8799) them kingdoms<04467> and nations<05971>, and didst divide<02505>(8799) them into corners<06285>: so they possessed<03423>(8799) the land<0776> of Sihon<05511>, and the land<0776> of the king<04428> of Heshbon<02809>, and the land<0776> of Og<05747> king<04428> of Bashan<01316>.
9:23 你也使他們的子孫<01121>多<07235>(8689)如天上<08064>的星<09003><03556>，帶他們<0935>(8686)到<0413>你所<0834>應許<0559>(8804)他們列祖<09001><01>進入<09001><0935>(8800)得為業<09001><03423>(8800)之地<0776>。
Their children<01121> also multipliedst<07235>(8689) thou as the stars<03556> of heaven<08064>, and broughtest<0935>(8686) them into the land<0776>, concerning which thou hadst promised<0559>(8804) to their fathers<01>, that they should go in<0935>(8800) to possess<03423>(8800) it .
9:24 這樣，{<01121>}他們進去<0935>(8799)得了<03423>(8799){<0853>}那地<0776>，你在他們面前<09001><06440>制伏<03665>(8686){<0853>}那地<0776>的居民<03427>(8802)，就是迦南人<03669>；將迦南人和<0853>其君王<04428>，並<0853>那地<0776>的居民<05971>，都交<05414>(8799)在他們手<09002><03027>裡，讓他們任意<09003><07522>而待<09001><06213>(8800){<09002>}。

Nevertheless they were disobedient<04784>(8686), and rebelled<04775>(8799) against thee, and cast<07993>(8686) thy law<08451> behind<0310> their backs<01458>, and slew<02026>(8804) thy prophets<05030> which testified<05749>(8689) against them to turn<07725>(8687) them to thee, and they wrought<06213>(8799) great<01419> provocations<05007>.

9:29 又警戒<05749>(8686)他們<09002>，要使他們歸<09001><07725>(8687)服<0413>你的律法<08451>。他們<01992>卻行事狂傲<02102>(8689)，不<03808>聽從<08085>(8804)你的誡命<09001><04687>，干犯<02398>(8804){<09002>}你的典章<09002><04941>（人<0120>若<0834>遵行<06213>(8799)就必因此<09002>活著<02421>(8804)），扭<05414>(8799)轉<05637>(8802)肩頭<03802>，硬著<07185>(8689)頸項<06203>，不肯<03808>聽從<08085>(8804)。

Nevertheless for thy great<07227> mercies<07356>' sake thou didst<06213>(8804) not utterly consume<03617> them, nor forsake<05800>(8804) them; for thou art a gracious<02587> and merciful<07349> God<0410>.

Howbeit thou art just<06662> in all that is brought<0935>(8802) upon us; for thou hast done<06213>(8804) right<0571>, but we have done wickedly<07561>(8689):
