6:1 {<01961>}{<09003>}{<0834>}參巴拉<09001><05571>、多比雅<02900>、阿拉伯人<06163>基善<09001><01654>和我們其餘的<09001><03499>仇敵<0341>(8802)聽見<08085>(8738){<03588>}我已經修完了<01129>(8804){<0853>}城牆<02346>，其中<09002>沒有<03808>破裂<06556>之處{<03498>}{(8738)}（{<01571>}{<05704>}那<01931>時<06256>我還沒有安<05975>(8689)門扇<01817>{<09002>}{<08179>}）的，
Now it came to pass, when Sanballat<05571>, and Tobiah<02900>, and Geshem<01654> the Arabian<06163>, and the rest<03499> of our enemies<0341>(8802), heard<08085>(8738) that I had builded<01129>(8804) the wall<02346>, and that there was no breach<06556> left<03498>(8738) therein; (though<01571><05704> at that time<06256> I had not set up<05975>(8689) the doors<01817> upon the gates<08179>;)
6:2 參巴拉<05571>和基善<01654>就打發人<07971>(8799)來見我<0413>，說<09001><0559>(8800)：「請你來<03212>(8798)，我們在阿挪<0207>平原<09002><01237>的一個村莊<09002><03715>相<03162>會<03259>(8735)。」他們<01992>卻想<02803>(8802){<09001>}{<06213>}{(8800)}害<07451>我<09001>。
That Sanballat<05571> and Geshem<01654> sent<07971>(8799) unto me, saying<0559>(8800), Come<03212>(8798), let us meet<03259>(8735) together<03162> in some one of the villages<03715> in the plain<01237> of Ono<0207>. But they thought<02803>(8802) to do<06213>(8800) me mischief<07451>.
6:3 於是我差遣<07971>(8799)人<04397>去見他們<05921>，說<09001><0559>(8800)：「我<0589>現在辦理<06213>(8802)大<01419>工<04399>，不<03808>能<03201>(8799)下去<09001><03381>(8800)。焉能<09001><04100>停<07673>(8799)工<04399>{<09003>}{<0834>}{<07503>}{(8686)}下去<03381>(8804)見你們<0413>呢？」
And I sent<07971>(8799) messengers<04397> unto them, saying<0559>(8800), I am doing<06213>(8802) a great<01419> work<04399>, so that I cannot<03201>(8799) come down<03381>(8800): why should the work<04399> cease<07673>(8799), whilst<0834> I leave<07503>(8686) it, and come down<03381>(8804) to you?
6:4 他們這<02088>樣<09003><01697>四<0702>次<06471>打發人<07971>(8799)來見我<0413>，我都如<02088>此<09003><01697>回答<07725>(8686)他們<0853>。
Yet they sent<07971>(8799) unto me four<0702> times<06471> after this sort<01697>; and I answered<07725>(8686) them after the same manner<01697>.
6:5 參巴拉<05571>第五<02549>次<06471>打發<07971>(8799){<0853>}僕人<05288>來見我<0413>{<09003>}{<01697>}{<02088>}，手裡<09002><03027>拿著未封<06605>(8803)的信<0107>，
Then sent<07971>(8799) Sanballat<05571> his servant<05288> unto me in like manner<01697> the fifth<02549> time<06471> with an open<06605>(8803) letter<0107> in his hand<03027>;
6:6 信上<09002>寫著<03789>(8803)說：「外邦人<09002><01471>中有風聲<08085>(8738)，迦施慕<01654>（就是基善，見二章十九節）也說<0559>(8802)，你<0859>和猶大人<03064>謀<02803>(8802)反<09001><04775>(8800)，{<05921>}{<03651>}{<0859>}修造<01129>(8802)城牆<02346>，你<0859>要作<01933>(8802)他們的<09001>王<09001><04428>{<09003>}{<01697>}{<0428>}；
Wherein was written<03789>(8803), It is reported<08085>(8738) among the heathen<01471>, and Gashmu<01654> saith<0559>(8802) it, that thou and the Jews<03064> think<02803>(8802) to rebel<04775>(8800): for which cause<03651> thou buildest<01129>(8802) the wall<02346>, that thou mayest be<01933>(8802) their king<04428>, according to these words<01697>. {Gashmu: also called, Geshem}
6:7 你又<01571>派<05975>(8689)先知<05030>在耶路撒冷<09002><03389>指著你<05921>宣講<09001><07121>(8800)，說<09001><0559>(8800)在猶大<09002><03063>有王<04428>。現在<06258>這<0428>話<09003><01697>必傳<08085>(8735)與王<09001><04428>知；所以請你來<03212>(8798)，與我們彼此<03162>商議<03289>(8735)。」
And thou hast also appointed<05975>(8689) prophets<05030> to preach<07121>(8800) of thee at Jerusalem<03389>, saying<0559>(8800), There is a king<04428> in Judah<03063>: and now shall it be reported<08085>(8735) to the king<04428> according to these words<01697>. Come<03212>(8798) now therefore, and let us take counsel<03289>(8735) together<03162>.
6:8 我就差遣人<07971>(8799)去見他<0413>，說<09001><0559>(8800)：「你<0859>所<0834>說<0559>(8802)的這<0428>事<09003><01697>，一概沒<03808>有<01961>(8738)，是<03588>你<0859>心<04480><03820>裡捏造<0908>(8802)的。」
Then I sent<07971>(8799) unto him, saying<0559>(8800), There are<01961><00> no such things<01697> done<01961>(8738) as thou sayest<0559>(8802), but thou feignest<0908>(8802) them out of thine own heart<03820>.
6:9 {<03588>}他們都<03605>要使我們<0853>懼怕<03372>(8764)，意思說<09001><0559>(8800)，他們的手<03027>必軟弱<07503>(8799)，以致<04480>工作<04399>不能<03808>成就<06213>(8735)。{<06258>}上帝啊，求你堅固<02388>(8761){<0853>}我的手<03027>。
For they all made us afraid<03372>(8764), saying<0559>(8800), Their hands<03027> shall be weakened<07503>(8799) from the work<04399>, that it be not done<06213>(8735). Now therefore, O God , strengthen<02388>(8761) my hands<03027>.
6:10 我<0589>到了<0935>(8804)米希大別<04105>的孫子<01121>、第來雅<01806>的兒子<01121>示瑪雅<08098>家裡<01004>；那時，他<01931>閉門不出<06113>(8803)。他說<0559>(8799)：「我們不如在<0413>{<01004>}上帝<0430>的{<0413>}殿<01964>裡<08432>會面<03259>(8735)，將殿<01964>門<01817>關鎖<05462>(8799)；因為<03588>他們要來<0935>(8802)殺你<09001><02026>(8800)，就是夜<03915>裡來<0935>(8802)殺你<09001><02026>(8800)。」
Afterward I came<0935>(8804) unto the house<01004> of Shemaiah<08098> the son<01121> of Delaiah<01806> the son<01121> of Mehetabeel<04105>, who was shut up<06113>(8803); and he said<0559>(8799), Let us meet together<03259>(8735) in the house<01004> of God<0430>, within<08432> the temple<01964>, and let us shut<05462>(8799) the doors<01817> of the temple<01964>: for they will come<0935>(8802) to slay<02026>(8800) thee; yea, in the night<03915> will they come<0935>(8802) to slay<02026>(8800) thee.
6:11 我說<0559>(8799)：「像我這樣的<03644>人<0376>豈要逃跑<01272>(8799)呢？像我這樣的<03644>人<0834>豈<04310>能進入<0935>(8799){<0413>}殿<01964>裡保全生命<02425>(8804)呢？我不<03808>進去<0935>(8799)！」
And I said<0559>(8799), Should such<03644> a man<0376> as I flee<01272>(8799)? and who is there , that, being as I am , would go<0935>(8799) into the temple<01964> to save his life<02425>(8804)? I will not go in<0935>(8799).
6:12 我看明<05234>(8686){<02009>}上帝<0430>沒有<03808>差遣他<07971>(8804)，是<03588>他自己說<01696>(8765)這話<05016>攻擊我<05921>，是多比雅<02900>和參巴拉<05571>賄買了他<07936>(8804)。
And, lo, I perceived<05234>(8686) that God<0430> had not sent<07971>(8804) him; but that he pronounced<01696>(8765) this prophecy<05016> against me: for Tobiah<02900> and Sanballat<05571> had hired<07936>(8804) him.
6:13 {<01931>}賄買<07936>(8803)他的緣故<09001><04616>，是要叫<09001><04616>我懼怕<03372>(8799)，依從他<03651>犯<06213>(8799)罪<02398>(8804)，{<01961>}他們<09001>好<09001><04616>傳揚惡<07451>言<09001><08034>毀謗我<02778>(8762)。
Therefore was he hired<07936>(8803), that I should be afraid<03372>(8799), and do so<06213>(8799), and sin<02398>(8804), and that they might have matter for an evil<07451> report<08034>, that they might reproach<02778>(8762) me.
6:14 我的上帝<0430>啊，多比雅<09001><02900>、參巴拉<09001><05571>、{<01571>}女先知<05031>挪亞底<09001><05129>，和其餘的<09001><03499>先知<05030>{<0834>}要<01961>叫我<0853>懼怕<03372>(8764)，求你記念<02142>(8798)他們所行的這些<0428>事<09003><04639>。
My God<0430>, think<02142>(8798) thou upon Tobiah<02900> and Sanballat<05571> according to these their works<04639>, and on the prophetess<05031> Noadiah<05129>, and the rest<03499> of the prophets<05030>, that would have put me in fear<03372>(8764).
6:15 以祿月<09001><0435>二十<09002><06242>五<02568>日，城牆<02346>修完<07999>(8799)了，共修了五十<09001><02572>二<08147>天<03117>。
So the wall<02346> was finished<07999>(8799) in the twenty<06242> and fifth<02568> day of the month Elul<0435>, in fifty<02572> and two<08147> days<03117>.
6:16 {<01961>}{<09003>}{<0834>}我們一切<03605>仇敵<0341>(8802)、{<0834>}四圍的<05439>{<03605>}外邦人<01471>聽見了<08085>(8804)便懼怕<03372>(8799)，愁眉<09002><05869>不展<03966><05307>(8799)；因為見<03045>(8799){<03588>}這<02063>工作<04399>完成<06213>(8738)是出乎<04480><0854>我們的上帝<0430>。
And it came to pass, that when all our enemies<0341>(8802) heard<08085>(8804) thereof , and all the heathen<01471> that were about us<05439> saw<07200>(8799) these things , they were much<03966> cast down<05307>(8799) in their own eyes<05869>: for they perceived<03045>(8799) that this work<04399> was wrought<06213>(8738) of our God<0430>.
6:17 {<01571>}在那些<01992>日子<09002><03117>，猶大<03063>的貴冑<02715>屢次<07235>(8688)寄<01980>(8802)信<0107>與<05921>多比雅<02900>，多比雅<09001><02900>也來<0935>(8802)信<0834>與他們<0413>。
Moreover in those days<03117> the nobles<02715> of Judah<03063> sent<01980>(8802) many<07235>(8688) letters<0107> unto Tobiah<02900>, and the letters of Tobiah<02900> came<0935>(8802) unto them. {sent...: Heb. multiplied their letters passing to Tobiah}
6:18 {<03588>}在猶大<09002><03063>有許多人<07227>與多比雅<09001>結<01167>盟<07621>；因<03588>他<01931>是亞拉<0733>的兒子<01121>，示迦尼<09001><07935>的女婿<02860>，並且他的兒子<01121>約哈難<03076>娶了<03947>(8804){<0853>}比利迦<01296>兒子<01121>米書蘭<04918>的女兒<01323>為妻。
For there were many<07227> in Judah<03063> sworn<01167><07621> unto him, because he was the son in law<02860> of Shechaniah<07935> the son<01121> of Arah<0733>; and his son<01121> Johanan<03076> had taken<03947>(8804) the daughter<01323> of Meshullam<04918> the son<01121> of Berechiah<01296>.
6:19 {<01571>}{<01961>}他們常在我面前<09001><06440>說<0559>(8802)多比雅的善行<02896>，也<01961>將我的話<01697>傳<03318>(8688)與他<09001>。多比雅<02900>又常寄<07971>(8804)信<0107>來，要叫我懼怕<09001><03372>(8763)。
Also they reported<0559>(8802) his good deeds<02896> before<06440> me, and uttered<03318>(8688) my words<01697> to him. And Tobiah<02900> sent<07971>(8804) letters<0107> to put me in fear<03372>(8763). {words: or, matters}
